This man really listed “perfectionist” while wearing a poorly fitted, wrinkly suit jacket that doesn’t match the shirt underneath, okay lmao

Yeah none of this is actually true. Single, childfree women are the happiest group well into old age. Women are also way more less likely to remarry than men in old age due to, not wanting to deal with men anymore lmao Also we have got to stop lying to women about their fertility. The idea of fertility falling off a cliff isn't true until you're into your 40s. You have like an 8% less chance of getting pregnant when you're 35 vs. 25, and 5% lower than that once you reach 40. If you know you want…

Yeah I wasn’t implying that she shouldn’t take legal action, including reporting this woman to the bar. But the original lawyer used her nudes in court in an attempt to discredit her, which only happens to women. We have to stop allowing ourselves to be shamed in this way which starts with refusing to be embarrassed by it.

While I don’t think nudes are a great idea, we have to stop feeling embarrassed about this kind of stuff. That’s what gives the patriarchy their power. The lawyers involved who intentionally tried to embarrass her for being sexual should be embarrassed for their behavior and the wife should act as such. “What a gross abuse of power for her to find those through her work, what an unethical thing to do”. Women are allowed to be sexual, I know we receive backlash for it so we need to be careful and…

Chris Rock himself cheated on his wife with multiple women, is a worse cheater than Jada. Men don’t hate cheaters, they hate women.

You can legitimately get incurable STIs from 5 minutes of protected, uninspiring sex. Hard pass on equating that to money.

So I’m a genius, I have an IQ in the 98th percentile and I used to be in Mensa until I realized it was so closely tied to eugenics and yes this article tracks. Oddly enough, other smart people can usually clock how smart I am. People of average intelligence typically don’t realize it; these are usually men who are overestimating their own intelligence. It’s a fun litmus test.

Sounds like Molly isn’t going out of her way to say shit. These women are likely asking her and she’s telling them the truth. The absolute delusion of men lmao

I’ll never stop saying this: men shit on trophy wives and “gold diggers” because they’re jealous of them.

Men created a society and the standards for dating where they don’t look for a compatible partner and then screech that the divorce rate is high and mostly initiated by women. The same men marry women with no career prospects who become a SAHP and then whine that they have to pay alimony and child support. Oh look, the consequences of their own choices.

This, something like 60% of millennial mothers are having sex too soon after birth because of the expectation from men and fear of losing their male partner.

So the model we have of this is incorrect. It’s not the strongest swimmer who gets to the egg, the egg basically selects the sperm it likes the most. Even with sperm, we are the ones who do the selecting.

Men you can’t trust get upset if you suggest wanting to protect yourself. Men who are trustworthy understand wanting to take reasonable precautions to protect yourself. I’ve never met a trustworthy man who expected me to comply with wonky shit like this.

Right and that’s on female socialization. We’re taught to stay and work on things, to our own detriment. So by the time a woman leaves she often feels she has tried everything and the only sane thing left is to go.

Women actually try harder to keep a marriage than men do but their bids for connection are ignored and that’s when they leave. Women will tell their husbands outright that they’re done and THEN the men want a chance to change, typically years after the woman has been trying to fix things. You don’t get unlimited chances in life.

You should meet male engineers. I have to turn my head when a lot of my colleagues are speaking. Before the pandemic, I’d have to do that foot forward trick so they couldn’t step into my space because I could smell their rotting teeth. And these are men who make 6 figures at least with good dental. I think they just don’t value caring for themselves and don’t take the time.

Idk that I view a man suggesting that women are receiving endorsements?? From men? When they sleep with them? Like that’s a thing we want? as “murdering me” Lmao but go off. He did nothing to change my opinion. If you followed the thread you would see that it was me who changed someone’s mind 😊

Eh even if you weren’t, there are people who do. Purity culture for women leads to situations where women are stoned to death for not being chaste. I can’t recall any cultures where men are murdered for not being brave currently but plenty that still have honor killings.

I don’t disagree with that at all. The tone of the sub concerns me occasionally but then I remember how few spaces exist that allow women to speak with other women in this way and I think the risk is worth it. It’s like anything else, I’m nervous about the nature of some of the porn subs on Reddit because I think that can be a slippery slope to hurting women but I also stay in my lane about it.

Yeah I also didn’t address you other point and it really ties in here. FDS advocates for block and delete, disengaging with men who aren’t a fit or who throw red flags. But that doesn’t prevent a spin off with more sinister motives. I do want to remind you why FDS exists. It’s a pretty clear response to the redpill stuff. Look at this thread alone. OP told me men aren’t responsible for the future of women who they sleep with. If you’re arguing that men can treat women harshly for doing the same …

Yeah I disagree lol there’s ton of evidence supporting male externalization of anger vs. female internalization. I mean look at the way men commit unalive compared to women. Look at rates of abuse in relationships, for women it’s mostly reactive abuse. Besides that FDS is a dating sub, there are threads reminding those who are fully not dating men that they’re not welcome to advocate for that. Plenty of us are also partnered with men. I am flattered that you think 250k women could personally und…

I mean yeah bud lol the point of the sub is very specific dating rules from a rad fem perspective. It’s not a debate sub or a sub welcoming diverse opinions. No one goes into the relationship subs arguing for relationship anarchy, you go to the poly subs for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 06:22 AM

I’ve disagreed several times in there. What they don’t allow is disagreeing with their high level opinions and attempting to derail the sub with those opinions, they allow healthy civil debate on it though. I don’t agree with every thing, I just like it for the radical feminist space it is. Plenty of other members feel the same 🤷‍♀️

Calling women sluts in a derogatory way is treating them poorly lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 05:42 AM

Who are men having casual sex with? Only other men? Because if not, you’re expecting women to sleep with men casually but also treat them poorly for doing so. It’s like expecting people to work at coffee shops but not wanting them to have a living wage. You’re expecting some people to suffer in a role you benefit from. Being brave is just about whether you hold or have developed that trait or not, it’s not creating imbalance.

Right which is why I replied to OP who has a weird idea about people and casual sex lol I’ve never felt sad someone didn’t want to date me over my past, if anything it’s a good compatibility metric. I’d prefer a partner with sexual history vs. one without because I want someone who is confident and adventurous in bed. Also the Chad thing will always kill me lmao like I’ve talked with and slept with men who fit the bill and I never wanted more because those men tended to be less funny, less givin…

This really just comes back to personal preference. I don’t care if my partner has had casual sex, or a ONS, or a FWB, as long as they were kind and ethical with those people. If I connect with someone, have similar goals, and am attracted to them, I could care less about sexual history as long as they’ve been tested for STIs. But I recognize that others might place that higher, especially if they haven’t had any of those things. My issue is when people assume their standards are universal when …

If someone didn’t want to be with me because of n count, I wouldn’t be sad about it because it shows we don’t have compatible views about humans. Not for nothing, women perform worse on coding tests because they’re not actually coding tests, they’re pressure tests. It’s well documented that women and anyone who is a minority in the field is going to do poorly on them. It’s also well documented that doing well on them is mostly random and says nothing about how well someone would do on the job. I think there are very specific circumstances where it makes sense. My partner gave me one right when I graduated college because I wasn’t ready for a proposal and he wanted to express his commitment to me. It was a 7k ring and he replaced it with an engagement ring once I got my career in a place where I was ready to start wedding planning. My promise ring is more expensive than a lot of engagement rings and was a request I made when we were discussing our future.

I haven’t read all the comments but my gut instinct is: yes working sucks, especially under capitalism, but you know what sucks more? No raises or ability to leave for better pay and more appreciation. Being a stay at home wife is a gamble, maybe you picked a good partner who will always treat you well but if you don’t? Best of luck trying to survive with no marketable skills in a place that doesn’t value care work at all.

Ayo this is all very interesting, thank you for sharing! I don’t think women are less capable of war (they’re typically better strategists), I was more suggesting that women didn’t contribute to the war in the last few centuries, it was typically men and mostly because women were purposely kept out of decision making in a number of ways.

No no honey I’m saying we don’t automatically DNA test every single person which is what OP is suggesting with an automatic DNA test at birth. The countries that don’t allow DNA testing allow it with a court order for the most part. No one is against establishing proper paternity, and honestly we both know this isn’t about paternity, it’s about this false notion that a ton of men are raising other peoples kid which, every study I’ve ever seen says it’s a tiny percentage. OP is suggesting we burd…

I’m saying it’s not a good use of the governments time or resources when most countries already allow named and suspected fathers to either run a DNA test themself or have one court ordered. If you live in a country that doesn’t, you’re free to move! Actually love that you brought up murder because it’s the same thing. A small number of people are murderers so we don’t force the entirety of people to undergo DNA testing so we can find them ASAP to prevent other murder. Great point thanks for bri…

Okay again: let’s logic this out big brain. So we test every baby at birth, a tiny number are false, we’ve now wasted a ton of tax payer money (or forced citizens to have a test that even OP suggests wouldn’t be needed 90% of the time), what’s next? Would the government just be like “okay great now we have this child with one parent who can claim government benefits likely?” No, they’d force men to store THEIR DNA in a database to that they could pin the cost on someone. To summarize: I asked what right is missing, you said a right to be automatically put on the certificate, I said that happens when married and now you’re saying married women cheat? What right is missing? A married man named father has full custody and the right to test his child. You’re just being emotional, maybe to take a nice bubble bath to calm down?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 07:04 PM

Y’all say you are logical and yet here you are, being emotional lol married fathers are automatically assumed to be the father. Unmarried fathers aren’t because biology but suspected bio fathers can petition for a test and to be placed on the birth certificate. Have you considered only sleeping with your wife or only sleeping with women who would name you on the certificate? This is a nonissue if you pick who you impregnate better!
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 07:01 PM

Oh what right don’t men have in this situation? Because you already have the right to get a paternity test in most countries if you want. You have the right to have a court order a test for child support. What right are y’all lacking here exactly?

I think the pandemic really blew the door open on inequality. Society has largely been pushing this narrative that women are equal now (thanks libfem!) and then the pandemic exposed that for the absolute lie that it was. There are fewer women in the workforce right now in 2022 than there were in 1987. Women have noticed that society functions based on our unpaid labor and sacrifice so now we’re collectively waking up to it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 10:16 PM
2

We do but either way, you’re essentially involving the government in a non-issue. Men are free to get DNA tests without the mother’s consent already. If you’re trying to prevent hard feelings, only procreate with women who would agree with you on the test. Problem solved!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/22 10:03 PM
5

Really curious about this: do you view alimony as fair in this case? Going out of your way to find a partner who doesn’t have her own income to depend on yours, does it make sense to support that person until she finds another source of support? Or does the risk she take in not entering into a career not matter?

The bit about how female doctors mean better outcomes for all patients is why I prefer to have female doctors. I’m Jewish so it did throw me off/ make me uncomfortable to see it. It’s essentially letting someone know that others could feel upset even if it wasn’t the intention. I’ve stopped using words and hand signals that I thought were fine but were being used by hate groups when someone told me their context. Even if it’s a stretch, having the information is important. I feel similarly about being a stay at home wife. It’s absolutely a valuable position in a relationship and helps the working partner move up faster in their career but it feels like building a life on shifting sands. Even if you have a good partner, what happens if they die and you haven’t worked in 20 years? What if you also have kids? I know people get insurance payouts but that money runs out. Yes! I keep hearing men ask why we can’t go back 50-100 years and? Why not more? Why not back to the time when women were encouraged to sleep with all types of impressive men because they thought the baby received all the blessings of each one. Why do they randomly get to hold up one narrow part of history that justifies their bullshit? The worst part is that they actually believe what they’re saying is somehow logical and smart and not just self serving BS.

Exactly this. It’s actually biologically better for women to have multiple sexual partners so that many men could be the father of her offspring and provide that offspring tons of support but I don’t hear any men wanting to have that conversation.

My partner and I are both gamers and he has a friend who plays a game that lasts hours and hours. One time he made a comment about how he turned him down again to play (I didn’t know he’d ever asked or that my partner had interest) and he mentioned that he’s just got too many things to do with me and for work to have time for that. It wasn’t manipulative or problematic, he just simply decided that wasn’t a good use of his or our time. Good partners prioritize you and your partnership (and other …

I regret to inform you that it’s absolutely true. It’s a big reason I don’t share drinks with people, sharing saliva is a very quick way to end up with a cavity unless the other person has great oral health.

Also don’t kiss people with active cavities!! The bacteria that causes them is contagious and you can actually get cavities from kissing someone with them.

Also consider that you’re not totally protected if you live in a blue state and this happens. If we restrict the amount of states down to very few, it’s going to be harder and harder to get an appointment when you need it vs. having to stay pregnant for longer.

It’s also funny to me that size preference for women is totally different than men having size preferences about women’s bodies because dick size is incredibly important to enjoying sex and getting off. Our vaginas are made such that a certain shape and size will feel best for us, it’s not just a random thing, it’s about actually being pleasured.

This is a thing I cannot understand. If you’re exclusively dating, you’re in a relationship. Why are men so broken that they think just not calling it what it is will make it better for them? I’ve noticed this trend a lot and it’s the absolute dumbest shit.

I say this whenever this topic comes up (which is often because so many men are straight up predators) but get cameras in your home and inform all workers that they’re being recorded. Don’t tell them where they are. If you have a dog, don’t let them associate with workers in your home so that they remain strangers to them so the dog can alert you if they return.

The helping got me too. So in his mind, if he became the stay at home parent, he’d be “helping” to raise a child? He wouldn’t just be raising a child. It’s always seen as helping with these types. Absolutely. Society coddles men and tells them they’re perfect just how they are while women are told from birth that they must put their needs last and spend billions on beauty products. The same men who throw fits about paying for the first date also think beauty standards are optional for women, like we don’t lose out on jobs, promotions, and other opportunities. I’m starting to think they’re just too stupid to understand the complexities of it all.

I saw a dude on Reddit once say that FDS is abusive towards him because we encourage standards he can’t meet. If you can’t afford $20-30 for someone’s meal, you shouldn’t be dating. Besides, there are PLENTY of pickmes who would pay for the entire first date, but weirdly men don’t seem interested in them? Something like 70% of the top 1% of income earners have a stay at home spouse because it’s efficient as hell to have one partner prioritize their career while the other manages the home. It’s risky for the stay at home partner because we don’t value care work in our society but the rich know that it’s extremely beneficial to building wealth. Broke men don’t understand having a stay at home spouse because they’re too busy being crabs in a bucket.

I think this happens with men and the mother of their children as well. I’ve seen a lot of men marry women they do not like and do not respect because she got pregnant. You’ve stated in the comments that you’re into sexual novelty and sleeping around because they’re aren’t any chaste women on offer? The math here is not mathing. Why would a chaste woman want a man who sleeps around? You can’t offer traditionalism when you aren’t traditional.

I think part of the reason men do this is because it creates dependency. If he helped her or split things more fairly (based on income) or just, stepped up and provided for her (because we all know who’s doing the domestic and emotional labor) then she’d be able to save up enough to leave him when he treats her terribly. Men absolutely know what they’re doing.

Yeah I’m being way too generous assuming it was unintentional. You have to be totally inept not to know about the safety risks women face when dating, men like this are likely trying to use your inhibition or fear to their advantage. Picking a reasonable, proper, safe date isn’t hard unless your goal isn’t honorable.

Yeah you’re asking the same questions I had, what about insurance? College financing? They look at parents income and assets, my college recommended parents delay retirement if possible so that their kids weren’t totally fucked when it came time to apply for any type of financial assistance, which his retirement assets will bar them from receiving. Colleges are literally like “sorry your dad is a stingy asshole but we’re giving the help to a kid whose dad actually gives a shit about them”.

He’s raping her. She should find out what type of state she’s in because infidelity is a great way to end up in a power position during a divorce. She should get evidence of his cheating and file for divorce. A lot of the time these threats are trash and their bluff should be called (if it’s safe to do so).

Whole thing is a dumpster fire but what’s sticking out to me is the fact he knowingly dated a student and expects her to handle all domestic duties. I dunno who needs to hear this but that’s a fucking trap. Never let a man trick you into being a maid. If you’re a student then that’s your job. If you both work full time but he makes more? He should still be cleaning and cooking and contributing. I’m tired of women becoming domestic slaves to these ain’t shit men.

Yep! My job also allows a decent amount of time off for the loss of a spouse, nothing for the loss of a boyfriend or fiancé. If he had retirement or a pension? Also no way she’s accessing that. If he had a pension, his mother won’t even receive that, the money is gone.

A lot of hospitals wouldn’t have even let her in to see him because legally she’s no closer to him than a stranger. Marriage is so much more than a piece of paper. This is a really important point. Often doctors will prescribe BC to suppress symptoms instead of figuring out what causes them. A lot of women end up unable to have kids because they had fertility issues masked by BC and didn’t realize until they stopped using it to try to conceive. You should have monthly periods and they shouldn’t be crazy painful, if you’re not, there’s an underlying cause that can be dangerous to your fertility.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/07/21 03:52 PM
145

I agree with this. People talk about BC like it’s a given. I faced a lot of pushback from potential partners about my refusal to use most forms because it doesn’t work for my health. It changes who you’re attracted to and who you attract. Not to mention the cost. Also semen can severely impact your natural PH, so not using condoms carries other risks outside of pregnancy and STI concerns.

It’s a matter of socialization and entitlement. If you grow up seeing mostly men holding power and being socialized to expect the world, you’re way more likely to externalize that rage and anger when you don’t get what you expected.

The rate is 90% for college educated women, which further proves that it’s not some scam to steal money from men: it’s because women benefit way less than men in a marriage and they will leave when it’s not meeting their needs.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/07/21 10:18 PM

This right here. Any insult a man throws you is telling you about HIS greatest insecurity. “You’ll die alone” scared of dying alone “you’re ugly!” Is ugly “you’re fat!” Is either fat or living in fear of becoming fat (usually accompanied by orthorexia).
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/07/21 06:14 PM

If you’re doubting this, peruse the relationship related subs and you’ll see example after example of men using women for childcare. They often say some variation of, “I’m worried she’s not MATERNAL ENOUGH” for refusing to act like an unpaid babysitter.

It’s because this is roughly the first generation of men who have to actually get a woman to like them. Before women needed men to have bank accounts and autonomy. Now men need to be likable and most of them are Very Upset about the shift.

I worry deeply about women who come to Reddit for advice. This sub is the exception because most women come here because there are so few radical feminist spaces online. Men who come to Reddit? They’re in the majority and almost all of them are forty shades of fucked up.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/07/21 05:46 PM
255

I saw a great callout about this advice. When men say this, they’re imagining being approached by women they find attractive. Men do not treat women they’re not attracted to like people, often ignoring them or outright abusing them. Women are socialized to be nice even to men we don’t find attractive. It’s a hell of a lot more dangerous for women to ask out men because of all of this.

Several high ranking women at my job totally left the workforce this last year because of their kids. Women are still seen as the primary caregiver and that trickles down and influences absolutely everything. I’m really leaning towards being child free because I’ve never seen a situation that was equitable for a mother, especially a working one.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/07/21 12:23 AM

I truly think the pandemic did this. It exposed how unequal women still are (look at the women who had to dial back their career to care for and homeschool kids) and gave single women tons of time for self improvement. Most men just masturbated and played video games.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/07/21 03:00 PM

Public proposals done like this often are a form of manipulation. Some men think if they ask you in front of a bunch of people that you will feel pressured to say yes. Especially if you’ve indicated you’re not ready for marriage or haven’t discussed it yet.

Love this! I would add: don’t have a routine. Don’t be outside your home at the same time, try not to leave and come back at the same time. I used to have men wait for me in the alley behind my house to try to talk to me when I kept a predictable schedule. It’s annoying but men can’t prey on you as easily if they don’t know when you’ll show up. Additionally, I put lights in my home on a timer so you can’t tell when I’m not home.

There’s a woman on TikTok who left her narcissist abuser and her top tip was to secretly record all convos and listen to them back. Monitoring media consumption and keeping an open dialogue about it. The shift in the last few years has felt radical with what men feel comfortable teaching other men. Women also live longer and are less likely to get promoted (not based on us, based on bias against us), and when we enter careers in mass, the pay goes down (pay gap is real) so 50/50 makes zero sense before you factor in the pink tax and the bodily risk women face dating. Also, it’s sexy when a man knows about all that and just pays, no fuss, just generosity and understanding of women’s lives.

I just argued a similar point on another sub. Essentially a man was trying to point out that there’s a double standard with caring about issues of control with men and I said that the stats on control are why. I also pointed out that when control is brought up on posts by women, it’s done by OTHER women. MRAs spend their time screaming about misandry (which is not real) instead of spending even an ounce of that energy to help other men. It’s clear that their real issue is with women getting help…

What always stands out to me is that tons of men defend this behavior. There was a post recently where a man lied to a woman about his job in order to sleep with her and she was obviously distressed because he gained access to her with a lie. It’s sexually coercive to lie to have sex with another person. The men on the post absolutely did not see that. Then it clicked for me: it doesn’t happen to men. I’m a huge advocate of this. Back in my hooking up days, I ended a lot of sexual encounters when it was clear I wasn’t going to orgasm or have a nice time. The men were always baffled beyond belief. It's because most men fundamentally need women to survive and live a fulfilling life and most women, do not need men in the same way. I saw a reverse gender version of that the other day on a similar sub and I’ve still been noodling over it. Single women never die alone because we’re excellent at building community and friendships that offer support. Men are not taught the value in that and they often die completely alone and miserable without a wife. Also women live longer than men, so you’ll probably outlive any husband unless you date younger.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/05/21 12:57 PM

Right but you also can’t do certain things like: rent a car, stay at certain hotels, basically rent property because under 25 you are way more likely to make a poor decision. But people argue you should be sleeping with predatory men and that’s natural? Oh okay.

It’s pretty telling that this gets so many upvotes when it’s not from FDS. It’s the same idea that men like women who don’t realize they’re pretty. People don’t like empowered women so when these ideals are spouted outside of a female empowerment space, then they’re accepted. Honestly? I think postpartum depression is going to look a lot different in 100 years. I absolutely believe part of it is from the hormonal shift of pregnancy and giving birth, but how much is the result of women realizing they’ve tied themselves to useless man children and are now too vulnerable to leave?

Oh Freud 100% knew. He even wrote a paper about it and then retracted it after he became a laughing stock. He essentially proved that hysteria was just, CPTSD from women being sexually assaulted and raped by men in their communities and families and those men still being treated like upstanding members of society.

I think this is important for dates as well. I always carried cash on a date so I could pay for my portion and leave instead of needing to wait for a CC to process. Easy to hand it to the waitress on the way to the bathroom and ask for a secondary exit if you feel unsafe.

Yeah I don’t think they’re fully aware, I actually think the lack of awareness is what makes the sex preference so insidious. My coworker shared with me that when they found out the sex, while still in the room with the tech, her husband blurted out “oh but I wanted a college athlete”. She was gutted. She was a college athlete herself. Her partner just, baseline did not see women as equal to men and had zero self awareness about it.

I will always say this when this comes up: most violence by women against their partners is reactive abuse. Women do not hold a position in society that allows them to perpetuate domestic abuse in the way that men do. When a woman is violent against her partner, it’s almost always in response to being abused herself. Edited to add some stats to back this up: https://opdv.ny.gov/professionals/abusers/genderandipv.html

It’s super important to work with someone to manage your finances who understands that women live longer and need their retirement plan tailored for that fact. Women are way more likely to end up poor in their older years because common investing advice and practices are based on the lifespan of men.

It’s not superficial to want to be attracted to your partner! Part of attraction is shared values, fitness is clearly part of your values and that’s 100% okay. There was a post today on another sub where the woman was with a man who didn’t find her attractive and men were gaslighting her about how that’s a-okay, it’s not okay!!! I cannot believe that this isn’t satire. Why do men think women in previous centuries were treated like princesses? Like, they denied us education because we were property and were likely to die in childbirth, we had no control over finances, couldn’t have a bank account, often couldn’t work outside the home, couldn’t own or inherit property in a lot of places. If you’re with someone and it’s not the right time for a baby, it’s okay to wait (provided you’re testing your fertility and both taking care of your health). For women currently dating? Focus on men closer to your age or a little younger to give yourself the most time. Having kids young can severely impact the careers of women way more than men so I absolutely understand waiting!

Your comment and the comment above just clicked this into place for me: this thousand yard stare that porn abusers get is so similar to that cold, dead look in the eyes of a man who is blacked out. All higher order functions are just, gone.

Happy to help! There’s more on this here if you search! We talk about the myth of male fertility pretty often because it’s such an ignored thing. Men essentially have the same timeline that women do and yet society pretends like that’s not true.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/21 04:04 PM
24

A giant, annoying myth is that male fertility doesn’t decline when it absolutely, 100% does. The kicker? Because we have shamed women for so long, we barely have any tests or treatments for aging sperm. I would not have a baby with a man over 35 and DEFINITELY not over 40, you are asking for DNA fragmentation.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/21 04:01 PM
25

If you want kids, stop dating men this old. A 35 year old man is not someone you could have kids with, by the time you’re ready, his sperm will be dust (at 35 he’s already ineligible for sperm donation).

I have friends who have! The vaccine now covers different strains than it did 10 years ago. The tricky part is getting insurance to cover it, they often won’t cover it for adults unless you test positive for HPV but it’s easier to get it covered if you didn’t already have it. Absolutely ask your doctor or local health department.

It’s the benefit of the doubt for me. Basically every post where a man is being complained about at least 2-10 scrotes will pop out of the woodwork to offer up reasons why this man deserves a break. When people complain about women? Pure vitriol and character assassinations.

Women are taught to coddle and cater to men so when women don’t put on an absolute show men assume they’re being “mean”. It’s another way the patriarchy tries to exhaust women and distract them from their goals.

This exactly. The murders happen because they aren’t getting their perceived “prize” for leveling up. My absolute favorite part of FDS is that we level up for ourselves. A man isn’t the prize for leveling up, our health and happiness is!

The thing that always jumps out to me is that these men are fully aware of the problem and say stupid shit like, “I’d have it surgically removed if I could”, like okay? OR you could go to THERAPY and WORK ON IT instead of dating people and being like, this.

If I ever have a daughter, I will make sure that she knows there’s nothing she could tell me that would make me love her less. These situations are always made worse when the women feel like they have to hide things from their parents when the abuser starts the blackmail. I want my daughter to know that threats do not work, you can make mistakes and do things that disappoint me and still no one will ever be able to tell me and make me love you less.

That’s just a little girl who doesn’t know anything about the world yet and it makes me feel sad for her (and furious at the men who convinced her to act this way). From her videos, she seems pretty lonely and unfulfilled and this account seems to be desperately seeking validation. She can’t cook well and says her favorite part of the day is “the gym”. Yep going for a walk with a stranger is dangerous as hell. You can’t tell someone your location, it often gives away the area you live in, and any man who suggests a walk isn’t considering your lived experience as a woman.

This makes me scared for you. Do you live alone? Do you have cameras or lights that you can put on a timer? Do you have a dog or would you consider getting one? Part of me thinks this is a form of childishness and selfishness. These men cannot comprehend the idea of fairness not existing. Like, is it unfair that women are allowed to decide to end a pregnancy when men can’t decide to walk away? Idk Kyle, is it fair that men get to orgasm and women must carry a baby for 9 months, rearrange her organs, risk physical disability and death? No? Okay cool, you agree that fairness isn’t really a factor here, morals and ethics are.

If you want a big, ambitious career, I’d recommend waiting until 35 for a baby. Women take a much larger career hit for motherhood. If you’re planning to wait, get your fertility checked. You have options, including freezing eggs and embryos. More and more companies are covering these services.

Not the OP but my advice for this is to ask yourself how a man would feel. Would a man ignore this behavior? Would a man be graceful when faced with this? That's really helped me decide where the line should be re: respect.

It’s so much projection! I have been asked “aren’t you afraid of dying alone??” And responded, “unless you die first, you’re dying alone and women typically outlive men”. The pure panic of realizing that putting up with trash treatment might still result in their greatest fear. Me personally? I am absolutely fine with dying alone, I love being with myself and cherish my alone time.

I get the same thing from these women. A lot of “well that’s just how it is” when you question how deeply unappreciated they are in their own home. I told a coworker once “well I’m glad that works for you but I personally wouldn’t be happy in a relationship where I was treated like a sidekick” and now she doesn’t speak to me anymore, a blessing.

I think it’s based on a childish notion that someone will love you for exactly who you are. It’s a nice idea but it doesn’t include the importance of being a fully formed, functional human being. I’ve dated so many men who wanted me to fulfill them when they weren’t even fulfilled on their own.

The idea of doing things just because they feel nice and bring joy is totally lost on most men. It’s the same reason they don’t decorate their apartments or have cleaning schedules. I wake up every day and do my makeup/hair because it starts my day off right. I wake up and make my bed even though I’m usually the only one who sees it. These things provide structure and balance and most men are too unbalanced to understand this concept.

I don’t think you can judge this as HVM or LVM. Plenty of LVM men have high powered careers because of family connections. You CAN judge how someone handles their job. The guidelines do a lot to vet but nothing can prevent the situation you’re describing. The other advice about making sure you’re never financially dependent on a man (have your own career, have savings going into the marriage, get a prenup to protect assets prior to marriage) will help in this situation. Being completely happy and stable by yourself will give you the strength to walk away if your spouse becomes abusive.

My therapist once said “unless you die first, you’re going to die alone and most women outlive their male partners” and that really put my fear into perspective. Most women, even partnered, live through old age alone and die alone.

Imagine having facial hair like that and thinking you’re a prize. I cannot.

I’m perfectly fine with that and hope he told the next date about it with his barely concealed seething so she knew to also ditch ASAP!

Elon Musk is scum. He was tweeting “take the red pill” bullshit and the mother of his current partner went absolutely off about how he didn’t care or support her during a challenging pregnancy. Be very suspicious of men who look up to him because they’re often trash.

I left a date once because of this. His profile said he was 6ft (I don't really have a thing for height honestly) and I'm nowhere near that. He showed up and we were about the same height. I made a joke about it and he got extremely defensive that I must be taller than I thought. I slipped the bartender $20 for my drink and left out the back of the place because I don't deal with aggressive men or liars for a second longer than I need to.

She should leave ASAP. Some guy in my hometown was convicted of raping his step-sister and everyone believed him that it was consensual and her mom just had an axe to grind. Dude gave me THE CREEPS but was in my friend group. He assaulted me in the back of a car on the way home from a bar when he was married. I have no doubt he raped his step-sister and probably other women as well.

I do as well. Some dude messaged me about how he had a dream about me and wouldn't it be nice to hang out since he was coming to my city soon. His girlfriend posted pictures of the date he took her on for her birthday not long after and I sent her screenshots immediately. I was just like "Thought you should see this" and she responded "thanks for letting me know". I felt bad for her but at the same time, I would have wanted this done for me.

I agree with you and have also noticed this. It happens as well with "yummy". I don't know if it's because I'm a millennial but the second someone tells me about their "yummy dinner" or "delicious lunch" I want to light myself on fire.

This is totally not surprising to me. Men are constantly complaining that no one cares about their problems like women have it any easier. I pay a professional trained to listen to my issues, most of the women in my life do. Why men think we have it any easier is beyond me, we just handle our shit instead of offloading it to someone else who isn’t qualified, paid, or interested.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3253726/ "The idea that robust fertility for a man will continue well past a woman’s decline in fertility is untrue. Although the female ovarian reserve is perhaps the most crucial component of a couple’s per cycle fecundity, the age of the male partner also has significant impact on reproduction. Beyond the fact that older men tend to have older female partners, increasing male age is associated with increased time to conception. This reflects the ag…

This isn’t true! They proved recently that sperm quality and the health of offspring from older men are not as good. I love to shout this information.

It’s even more interesting when you realize women don’t hit their sexual prime until their 30s. I was chatting with a friend recently and said that this idea of women being less valuable over 30 is a myth men spread because it’s when we start to reach our full power. I’ve been noticing older women more and more as I age and I’ve gotta say, I am excited and thrilled to be that kind of badass one day. I regret spending any part of my 20s worried about turning 30.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
