Moving with temporary ordersWe're just starting, and it looks like there will be no cooperation between us. Need to get the kids settled into high school near where I can live for the next 5+ years. If I wait we'll be stuck here where STBX left us. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/02/23 09:11 PM
Spouse asked for a divorce yesterday, I was told this was a good group by someone. I have some basic questions.Everything is amicable until it is not. And then you get your ass handed to you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/02/23 08:27 PM
Thoughts on getting a dog after separation / divorce?get an adult cat. nobody else wants them and they'll probably live their lives in a cage or end up euthanized. if you decide it was just a bandaid you can take it back. a dog would actually care if you didn't take care of it or got rid of it. Or you can get a senior dog that needs a home. Or go volunteer somewhere in the evenings. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/02/23 08:24 PM
Moving with temporary ordersRight, receipts and email and texts all set there. She hasn't been paying anything, and emptied the bank account when I filed. I'm living on credit and a little savings. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/02/23 08:09 PM
Moving with temporary ordersNaive? You mean ecstatic. 100% do not care. The sooner she's somebody else's problem the better off I am. Papers are filed and we're holding for tempoary orders. Keeping receipts and I quit logging when she called months ago because she stopped. I think she texts kidss on WhatsApp sometimes now. Kids are just a year short of when judge weighs their choice, and heard our state has reputation for not really paying attention. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/02/23 07:28 PM
Moving with temporary ordersJust got a text that she flew down here over the weekend and has a rental 5 blocks away, completely unannounced, and expects visitation. WTH? | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/02/23 05:05 PM
