I agree there are bigger flags than N. I also think N is more of an effect/trailing indicator rather than a leading indicator. I do think there is significance when you get to a high N. Anecdote about men: I know four guys that have N>300. One should never marry (didn't stop him the 1st three times), two have significant issues with maintaining LTRs, and one is married yet I'd put his odds of getting divorced at 1:2. Edit: typos.
