This sounds really interesting and I think I agree with her idea, it's why we like flirting and romance books etc. I think women get turned on when they feel desirable and it takes, ourselves, husbands, other men and other women to make us feel this way. I'll have to look up this book now and have a read. I don't think it's because men aren't fulfilling their roles. I think that flirting for women fullfills the same kind of thing as looking at porn for men.

Or maybe you are a troll and lack reading comprehension skills. Take a walk over to rep pill men and take a look. Why do you even post on a forum for women?

Red pill for me makes me love and understand myself and men. Red pill for men made them hate and try to take advantage of women. Interesting reactions for sure. The two subs are so different. If your soul oozes hate and non understanding of women you will have no chance of getting a nice girlfriend/wife.

These are his best friends? Eehhhh. And now a child is involved..... If I was going to continue with him there would be some fairly serious rules about nights out with his best friends. He would need to find new friends if it was me because this is gonna happen again when they go out and may have already been happening. There is going t be peer pressure every time he goes out.

The fact that he told you to me says something. I guess if he planned to continue this behaviour he wouldn't have said anything. Does he go out with these guys often?

I love that she is being herself. You don't have to be loud and have a cause to enjoy life and be a part of society. She seems genuine, to me there is something fake about someone who says and does all the right things.

I love this answer, I hate being put into a box and told what I think. I like the ladies in this sub but I'm just my own person with my own opinions. I like to choose what I think about each thing on its own merits.

The problem I see in some of my friends marriages is that men in relationships stop women from doing the things that make them feel desirable. They are trying to stop their women from straying, but they are actually stopping their women from feeling sexual.

There was some book I read years ago, it said that men's main need was an attractive wife and women's main need was a companion. I always feel closer to my husband after he takes me out to dinner and we have time to just talk. (Usually about random stupid stuff, nothing deep, just talk.)

There are some things that a lot of people would say are vain and wasteful that contribute to me being turned on feeling sexy. If I look good I take selfies, I rarely post them anywhere but I feel good when I take a good one. I have friends who I can't get to go out for a meal with me cause they always want to bring their kids or husband. It like they don't want to do anything for themselves any more. I don't know if they think I am selfish because I sometimes go out without my husband kids?

When I sat down and thought about the divorces I have heard of in my own life, the majority are men leaving a stay at home wife. Half of my examples are from an old church friends group, but some were not religious. I wonder if age at time of divorce also changes statistics because I can only think of one or two women who left over my whole lifetime. (I'm not counting women who started the divorce due to husband cheating as the women instigating the divorce.)

I've been married quite a while and I have discovered for sex to be good I need to feel sexy. I spend a lot of money doing hair nails and other stuff. I stay at a healthy weight and I noticed once when I had put on a few kilos my libedo went down because I didn't feel good about my body. I feel like having sex after getting dressed up and going out to a nice romantic dinner. I like flirting. I read a book recently, it was one of those "how to be French" books and it suggested that French women f…

Frustrates me too that people think in such extremes. To balance people putting too much emphasis on looks, we need to show that looks don't matter. It's the opposite extreme. Every one on the planet surely enjoys looking as nice as they can and its not shallow. Your personality and values also matter. There can be both.

Watching what you eat is one of the best ways of staying in shape. I have times where I like doing hikes then I get bored with it, we have a weight bench at home and sometimes I do this. I change around quite a bit depending on my mood. I love playing tennis.

I would advise 20 year olds to wait until 25 to get married. A lot of divorces I know of claim that it was caused by getting married too young. There are studies that say that your personality doesn't fully form until 25 or so. For avoiding a cheater, sometimes it's just unavoidable but I would say choose a guy with good values, treats all people with respect and has some self control. people with values and some self discipline and likely to be more stable. I will teach my daughter that first i…

I read most of it, I don't see a lot of this happening in reality, particularly the wall. You just don't see it in reality. I'm over 30, I have had a group of women friends over the years and while most were married, people became single or single girls joined the group. The only women who had any trouble finding a guy were 50lbs overweight and fussy or had some extreme quirk that annoyed both men and women alike. Also, the majority of marriages that ended was because men cheated, it's a minorit…

I love heels but wouldn't wear them all day to work (unless I got to sit down most of the day), but more out to dinner and places where I dress up more. My suggestion is to buy high wedges and lock your bedroom door and dance in them to your favourite music. Also there is stuff on you tube about how to walk. So walk toward your mirror doing the sexy cross over thing, then slowly tone it down, until it looks like you are not trying to do that but just do it a bit.

I've been married quite a while now and my husband still does romantic things. I don't think guys should ever stop "chasing" and women should always keep up how they look. But I have noticed that other people who have been married as long as me seem perfectly happy without it. I think there is more than one way to have a relationship and it depends on the personalities involved.

"Nice guys" are just misusing the word nice as a manipulative description. Most normal people are nice. People should always be nice. But men who are interesting are men with their own lives and hobbies and opinions. I think some of the problem with nice guys is that they try to morph into what they think you want them to be. And when it is clingy and obviously not genuine it doesn't come across well. Do you have your own personality if you just agree with everything to be nice? It looks weak. (…

Nice guy oneitis from a girls side often looks like stalking and being creepy and needy. It's really horrible to deal with and not nice at all. Red pill often has advice that goes the full opposite. But some of the red pill is good because it encourages guys to get hobbies and interests and be busy and be more balanced.

Google "nice guys aren't nice" these are the kind of nice guys we are talking about. They think all women like abusive men and don't appreciate them. It's the classic nice guy speech. Guys who claim to be nice guys are usually not nice. The guy that are nice don't advertise that they are nice and are just genuine normal people.

No male or female on the planet is capable in everything. I think there is something nice about a person who admits that they are not an expert in xyz and then having some respect for the person who is. It black and white thinking to separate women into capable and damsels.

I read the rules years ago, it is an absolutely brilliant book which I believe would answer some of your questions. I'm in social groups where men (and the women) are more gentle and protective of me. Not sure why. Some times I find it frustrating. Maybe it's because I show some vulnerability, I'm not ashamed that some times I am weak because I know I am strong in many other things so it will balance out. Unfortunately people can jump to conclusions, so if you show some weakness they assume you …

I guess there are some men that don't like chasing, there are probably women who don't like maintaining their looks. I just think that for attraction men like women who look good, women like men that make them feel desired. If you have sex it probably works out better for both people if men make the effort to get women turned on. I think in a positive relationship this would happen. I like how you have called it a dance, both should be dancing, if one is dancing and the other not, that is when y…

I feel there is chasing and there is chasing, too much might make you look desperate but strategic chasing is needed. If you chase someone and there is no response don't chase any more. Women like romance and flirting and some build up of tension to be attracted. It's a chase where you want the other person to chase you and you should be able to judge the response along the way. Men like how women look, women like how men make them feel, to make a woman feel desired you need to do some kind of c…

I couldn't agree more, the whole post is brilliant. Especially about the first part about being friends first. Over at ask women in the last few weeks I saw a question "was it love at first sight or did you get to know your so first" the overwhelming response was that it worked out better with getting to know someone first and love at first sight didn't work out very often. For me when the pressure to decide was put on too early when I was still deciding about a guy I would just say no.

There s no good sex for women without a chase or romance or flirting etc. my husband still does romantic things for me all the time. Men who make no effort after marriage are like women who get overweight and don't bother looking nice.

You're not really understanding what we are talking about. You are thinking of someone you chased but didn't get. I'm talking about flirting, waiting, being busy, some romance, flirting etc. see what is being reciprocated. So being cool, some mystery, revealing yourself slower not overdoing it. Women like the romance, a bit of flirting, some chasing, it's part of how we become attracted and get turned on. It's how you get to know if the person is a match.

There have been moments when I realized a guy was lying to me to tell me what he thinks I want to hear or is just so agreeable it's suffocating, I instantly think of him as weak and attraction is gone. A guy who holds to an opinion because that is a how his values align I can respect (as long as it's not too crazy).

The book "The Rules" is good for explaining why playing hard to get works and that men like the chase. It also may help "nice girls." Neither male or female is attracted to overly needy people, so girls who are bitchy are not being needy. It doesn't mean we should be bitchy but that we should be busy with other things in our lives. For myself I like to try to make men chase a bit, makes me feel feminine and turned on.

The women I know with abusive men are damaged with low self esteem, women don't like abusive men. I barely know any women who are with abusive men. The problem with nice guys is that they aren't nice, almost always have no personality or hobbies, don't have their own values and are clingy and manipulative. They have no backbone. It felt like because I put so much emphasis on looking good for them, they need to be putting effort into what "looks good" for me. Here is an interesting side discussion. A while ago on ask women some one asked the question "do you like one night stands?" And I would say that 90% of answers said "I had a few and it's always bad sex and I can't be bothered with that any more." I feel this is so true. The question is, is it because younger guys are just not good in bed yet? or is it because relationship sex is always 10 times better because of how women get turned on. men can't assume their value will go up. An attractive 25 yo woman who is an 8 and keeps herself looking good will be an 8 in the 35 year old women group. These women are ususally looking for guys in the 40- 45 age group. Men only increase in value if they mature and behave better (they usually do) and earn more. Men can easily go down in smv and rmv depending on their job and behaviour. Men improve in value because they start out so low. So actually a female 45 yo 8 can probably get a nice guy …

I already married someone with matching values. I think women can be pretty fussy on this point, but there is a lot of scope on others things. and everyone has different ideas and values so I think there is someone out there for everyone. I'm surprised that so many men can't tell much about a person unless they specifically tell them. I'm wondering if it has to do with the increase of autism spectrum. Asking someone their n count is pretty rude, I can spot many flaws in men by how they act I don't need to ask specifically.

I disagree that the gym is needed by all. If you like dancing join a dance class, or go hiking, or just walk around nice areas taking in the sights. Find a bike path and hire a bike. I think being active can be done in many ways and different activities will inspire different people. If it's about weight control, food intake is 99% of this.

The girly girls are worth less is really what brought me here. I find a lot of strength in being true to my femininity and get annoyed by people who mock it and devalue it or think it's weak to be able to cook a nice meal or want to cook a nice meal. It's ok to want to look pretty and enjoy it, it's not shallow. Looking good is an art and fun for me.

It's seems to me that the guys at mrp are doormats trying to change their behaviour. Usually what they do looks like it would cause even more problems. Their situations might be a bit dire. You need to be turned on before sex to let loose during sex. I had some fun following the tutorials on sky7dance on YouTube. I never gave a lap dance, but I like having some moves. I think you need to work out from him "what makes him feel loved and happy" and the same for you. I need to feel desired so I would need sex at least once a week min. I feel good when I get to dress up and go out somewhere one in a while, like on a date. My husband has worked out what kind of things turn …

Is there any flirting? Or dates? I'm not sure I understood what you said earlier, you have sex every 2-4 weeks? Or 2-4 times a week? I've been in a relationship a long time and after a while you have to work on making things romantic and keeping the spark.

Everyone I knew changed a lot in the ages 20-25. And many that married young regretted it and ended up breaking up. You were quite young when you got together, do you think either or both of you have changed?

I always looked younger than my age too, I used to hate it. I still got carded at 30. Good luck buying a drink at 30 without getting carded :)

I live in an international city not in the US where there are people from all over the world. I can often tell you where people are from just by how they dress. I can spot the US because the fashion always looks sporty/masculine. It's just really noticeable if you are not from the US. If you want to change your look, you could wear mid heels, or low wedges. There is a world of fashion inbetween flats and pants and heels and short skirts. Another thing I've noticed is that men in the US will star…

I agree, there is a bit of black and white thinking here, to kind of jolt people out of an extreme stance/behaviour that they came from.

People need to open their eyes, I see 30 yo women who look amazing and better than many 20year olds. I feel this wall thing can be a revenge fantasy. 30 year old women look for men around or a above their age. 30 years old women don't even want to attract 20 year old men, or really care what they think.

For me I could never date someone without a stable job, so I understand what you are saying.

Still being bitter after two years is not great.... But we don't know the situation so idk. Just wait and spend more time I think to see what happens. Are they both stable in other areas? Do they have jobs etc? 3 weeks isn't really long enough to tell.

Red flags to me for abusive men are bitching about your ex or women in general. I feel like these guys tend to be controlling, which is the mark of an abusive man. Google how to spot abusive men. It's like women who bitch about others and have every situation a drama. You know they will cause you trouble and be bitching about you soon.

I think some people don't realize there is a difference between RP and rpw.

I think you have to date them both a bit longer to see. For me any guy that goes on about an ex hasn't gotten over it yet and needs more time. Divorced guys are like this, if they keep referencing their ex, you should move away. If you've only known these guys for three weeks and they told you all this negative stuff about their exes hmmmm. I think it's too early to pick one.

I think there are lots of ones. I'm married and I go out with my single girlfriends quite a bit, (Im their wing girl) I always meet nice men. Luckily I found a really great one already.

I think what happens here is that most men get clingy and it ends up being creepy. So telling them to be aloof, you hope it would hold them back from being a clinger. I would give different dating advice to different people. I personally like flirting and being chased, so if a guy try to play games and be too aloof I wouldn't bother with him.

I feel people make the best decisions regarding marriage around the 25 yrs old mark. Enjoy, there is no rush.

Usually people who want to talk about it are gonna have some kind of hang up, I smile and wave and avoid them. I prefer people who just treat all people with respect, that is what I look for. Actions speak louder than words.

Oh looks like this has been deleted. I understand your point and my point was that George clooney married a 39 year old and brad Pitt was with a 42 year old. My point was that most attractive people are gonna be attracted to people around their age. Would Angelina and Amal have married these guys if they couldn't hold down a job and had no money? Probably not. So being good looking doesn't help men in this age group. The attraction for men and women is different. For women who think being over 3…

But women in their 20's don't usually find 60 year old men attractive. Men can have unattractive personalities, values etc at any age also.

She and the other guy were flirting etc for a while. He may have decided against persueing it. Up to you if you want to stay with someone who lies about that. For women, guys will always try to flirt with us even when we are married, it feels nice but you can't have it get to an emotional affair like your gf just had. How old are you both?

Men have a pretty hard time in their 20's though. No one wants to date them. 25 yo women are usually aiming for 30 year old guys and women under 25 are still having fun and not looking for ltr.

I love to cook and am proud of making healthy meals. I just get so annoyed that cooking has been so devalued. I keep meeting women who are proud that they can't cook. Being healthy has a lot of value.

Agree here and when on a date most people want to relax and have fun, not an educated intelligent discussion. Flirt. I also feel that being in the same thing can cause competition and you don't want to compete.

Uh I hate these chain letters. I'm over 30 and see many hot women over 30 and 40. They go the gym, get Botox, colour their hair and look better than ever and enjoying life. They date and marry nice men around their ages. There are women who don't try in all ages groups.

For women when we shop for things like this we have to try a lot on to find which thing suits our body type and coloring. It's really hard to buy online without trying. I only do this when I already have the set and am buying another. I feel sexy if I know I look good in it and like it and I think I would feel awkward if it didn't fit perfectly or just looked off some how. The website you showed has some really nice stuff on it but I think buying clothes for others is always a gamble.
