Open ended questions and lots of WWWHW if you get one word answers.

Thanks for the insight, I've been toying with the idea of moving back in with my parents and it's daunting. Funny thing about that advice, one of my mates that has been divorced fucks young girls as his favourite past time and loves his life. I don't think it's for me though, but neither does any meaningful relationship.

I hope you're pulling through your recent troubles. Thanks for the advice, I love that movie!

I've been working out a lot, no gyms though. It's the long hours of nothingness that are the hardest.

I went through the same thing and it sucked. I suggest video calling whenever possible if that can be arranged, if nothing but to have your face seen and to tell him you love him. The dad he knows and shows that level of love to will come back if you keep doing what you've always done. It sounds like a tyranny of distance thing, but it will be fine.

I'm a separated father of 5 and 2 year old boys. I had this fear too. You will always be his dad, if you put in the work. If you don't, then you will lose him and rightfully so. You can only control what you do, not things around you, so give it everything you can. Do your best to make it amicable with the ex, that will make it so much easier between you both and when there are times that she needs help, you'll be the one who she calls as you know him the best.

This really resonates with me. I am terrible in relationships, always have been. I'm too selfish to be in a relationship, but when it comes to my kids I'll do anything. Being single is a much happier me and being a good Dad is priority number 1 these days.

That's all I can do right now, let's see if she takes that away from me/them.

Cops won't get involved unless there's a serious risk to their safety.

That's exactly what I plan to do, I won't communicate with her unless it's in writing as one or both of us get upset. As for the food situation, it's further proof that I'm doing what I can for my kid's in this shit situation. I'm asking for half the cost back though!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
