Absolutely document! If you do normal pick-up, then go to pick-up and document that no one came out. Also I would call the police so they can give you a case number that the mother and children are not there. You can use that in the future for Friend of the Court / Family Court proceedings.

If she took them out of state without your permission or written approval you can take her to court for contempt of the divorce decree. Likewise if she's suspending/denying your visitation. Of course, getting that before a judge will take a while and they likely will listen to her "momma bear" absolutism over your waving the divorce doc around. Sorry bro she's holding most of the cards here is how I read it. See if you can at least talk to the boys on the phone or facetime often would be my recco.

Do you have a consent custody agreement ( one that judge signed and approved ). Police should be able to enforce it.

Brother, what a fucked up situation you might be facing. I hope you have a custodial order in place. Seems to me that moving the children out of county without court notification is a huge no/no. Document, and if any time is missed file for contempt. My lawyer told me that until april 7 is emergency only in the courts, but that they will be resuming a normal schedule afterwards. I have a hearing on the 16th that is still a go.
