Even asking for a emergency hearing takes forever currently. If you keep the kids she could screem parental alienation and go running to the court herself. There are no easy answers in your case. Listen to your attorney even though your heart is screaming to keep them with you

Not sure, my understanding would be jurisdiction would originally reside in area the child has been a resident of for the last six months.

Lawyers felt no way to break prenup so judge stepped way across the line and awarded child support. Hence the rush to the appeals courts. After nearly a year waiting for order to be signed. Can't appeal a verbal rulling. Like I said the case from hell

Gave me sole custody but ordered that I pay child support. Not only that more than I would have to pay if I didn't have custody per state guidelines. My attorneys had never seen anything like it

Trips to the state supreme court, remands back for new hearing, then back on appeal, it was ugly.

My case went on for a little under 5 years. The court appointed psychologist actually interviewed my girlfriend and put in report what a great influence she was around my daughter. Which freaked the STBX out

These are the people that know you best and how to manipulate you and press all your buttons. Anything you say to them in private will be used against you. Never tell them how you feel or what you are thinking. Keep things civil and do not argue. If you need to discuss why you wish them a slow painful death hire a therapist

My ex attorney subpoenaed pretty much everyone just to run up billable hours. Never put it past a attorney to take advantage of a client if they smell momey

Even if she were to flee to a foreign country to join a know terrorist group I doubt any judge in the US would do anything about it

I had it take 2 1/2 years. Nothing you can do. Without a decision case is in limbo

you're dreaming, my x actually refused to take daughter to school during her visit days. When we got to court judge said elementary school isn't as important as keeping the parental bond strong

if one side or the other wants to drags things out, not hard for them to do legally. It took over seven years and numerous filings and court appearances before my divorce became final

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
