Good on you man My ex message me at the last minute yesterday and asked if I could watch our son (10). Of course I said yes even though I was having people over for dinner, I called all my friends and said bring your kids. We cooked had drinks, kids played Xbox upstairs and ate. it was a good night. She picked him up this morning wearing the same clothes she dropped him off in last night. Keeping being an awesome father don't let your ex bring you down..

I don't directly get her a gift . I send a card like I do everyone in my family. I do take the time to have our son get her a gift though $25 max.

Why did you leave the house without a plan in place? Go file for a custody agreement right now you are setting yourself up for less time with your children

Just help the Buddy out with the situation like this. she blew up said she wanted a divorce and she was going to her mom's house for 2 weeks. He called me I flew up helped him get a U-Haul pack his things and he moved into my guest room. 1,000 mi away. She just figured it out and all hell has broken loose. To top it off she doesn't know where he's at and he won't tell her. Also he took the cat. Respect

Damn dude. My ex pulled the same kind of st. Wiithin 2 weeks of me moving out he was in. When I met him I simply told him one thing. I don't care about your relationship with her, don't you ever put a f***g hand on my kid. She promptly called the cops and tried to say I threatened him with one of my guns. When I told them that I'd given all my guns over to a friend that is a police officer in their department. That went out the window pretty quick.

Stop trying. As long as you're begging and pleading you look weak and she's going to go further and further away. You already know what you've got to do. It's done. You're most likely holding on to the idea of your marriage and not realizing that the person before you is no longer the same person you married. Go check out strong successful male on YouTube some of those stories have helped me tremendously in understanding what happened at the end of my marriage.

I know the other guy's full name and address. I could have went over and did something drastic when it was happening but chose my kid over vengeance. she actually acted surprised when I gave her the divorce papers. When I showed her her chat logs that his wife had sent me through Facebook she pretty much rolled over and went with the divorce. At this stage she's on guy number 4 I think, 9 months out from the divorce being finished. She has also tentatively agreed to me moving with her son back t…

One of the guys my ex-wife dated messaged me through Facebook because he thought her story was fishy . She basically told him I was a alcoholic that yelled and screamed 24 hours a day and that's why we're divorced. We have 50/50 custody as well. I showed him the text messages where she had cheated on me. He dumped her ass

Glad you don't have children. I was a kid that lived in that household. It destroys them to the core. It's destroying you to your core. Before I walk away I would ask for couples therapy to work on our issues one time. If it gets thrown into your face and becomes an argument you know the answer. If you need time to plan get a storage unit and start stacking things to start over into it. By the time I left I had an entire apartment full of stuff in my storage unit and didn't need to bicker over a…

I'm referring to having an amicable divorce. In order to do that both parties would have to be willing to work with each other to hash it out and get it done.

you can try your best but both parties have to be willing to work with each other to get out of the relationship. I was lucky enough to go this route and it only cost me $500. Start gathering your financial documents and get your own bank account would not want you to wake up broke one day.

Decided to give myself two years to heal after my 20-year relationship and divorced. Red pill, mgtow. One thing I know is that I will have a vasectomy before I ever touch another woman.

I never got the answers to why in the beginning..it killed me. A year or so on. It does not matter. I did not see it in the beginning but she did me a favor by stepping out of my life and imploding our family (20 years). It was one of the most painful times in my life. I will not beg someone to love me or be with me. Either you want to be here or you don't it's that simple. I filed the paperwork and let her walk off to be with whomever her Facebook friend was. Caught her cheating with someone 6 years ago. Forgave her went to counseling and try to work it out because I felt as though we had a duty to our three-year-old at the time to try every avenue to make it work. When I found out she was talking to the exact same guy and planning to go see him 6 years later. I let her go file the papers and had her serve the second she got home.

You can't really control who she moves on or in with. But don't move on until you know you're one hundred percent ready. Start preparing yourself for that day leave her in your past but don't start dating until you're ready I should say.

You teach people how to treat you. My wife cheated once 7 years ago. I forgave her and worked it out because we had a duty to our child to try everything. When she cheated again last year. I went straight to the lawyer's office. Once may be a fluke twice or more is a pattern........ She only wants to fix it to maintain her lifestyle

DNA TEST FIRST. CONSULT A LAWYER WHERE SHE LIVES AT. DO NOT MISS A SINGLE COURT DATE.. Each state has its own calculator. You can usually look it up. In your situation you want to use the Maryland calculator.

Went through that phase in the first 6 months post divorce. I've decided currently that I've gotten married, had children, and did the right thing. I'm 40 and going to be single for a long time because I don't want another relationship and I'd rather spend my time and money on the things that make me happy. If a woman comes along so be it but it's not a priority.

Hate to say it. It was over when you moved out. Separation is usually just a way to see if it will work with the AP. File now and file first, stop paying her bills, get your own bank account.

I've decided to do the bachelor thing. I want to go out and do the things I want when I want for a little while. Yes I have shared custody and would never miss a day with my son but being able to get up on my day off and drive 8 hours away and go camping without asking anyone for permission is kind of awesome. If I meet someone along the road that will be cool but I'm not actively seeking out another woman or relationship if it happens it happens.

Remove all your firearms from the home and ammo also if you drink stop and remove all that from the home, if you "smoke" Remove all that whether you have a card or not. Be prepared for her to start throwing mud don't talk to her on the phone only emails and texts. Start documenting everything.

Hince her not willing to put any effort into trying to work it out.. Just a personal piece of advice. Advise him not to fight for her. Don't fight for someone who won't fight for you equally and never beg someone to love you.

You don't see it now. She's doing you a favor sometimes we need to go through something bad to find out who we really are. I just divorced my wife after 20 years. She cheated. I went into a deep depression to the worst place I've been in my entire life, lost my job and basically I'm starting over as if I'm 20 again. You may never understand. I'm still trying to get answers to why my marriage blew up the way it did after 20 years. Sometimes you just have to accept the situation and do your best. If she wants 50/50 custody I'm okay with that get a custody agreement in place and once she starts violating it and not seeing your daughter petition for more custody, document everything. You got to start playing the long game now.

File the paperwork. You know how this ends. You'll try, she'll cheat again. I know because cheating round 2 happens after I forgave her for the sake of my "family". I tried for our son. Don't let her take over the custody of your child. you have as many rights to that child as she does and don't let her dictate what they are. Ask for 50/50 and strive to get it even if she fights it. It's going to suck right now. But when you come to an agreement and it's signed off on by the court then she can't play games with you anymore.

My wife. Got a Facebook message from the wife of the other man 8 days before it happened. She proceeded to tell me that we've been dead for two years and I should not be surprised whilst ignoring the fact that two days before I ask her for marital counseling for our problems. She went anyway I filed the paperwork and had her serve the second she got back. so she decided I acted.

Currently cohabitating. If it's not about our child's homework or what we are having for dinner I don't talk to her. I'm spending my time in the guest bedroom. she has the master and when the divorce is finalized I'll move out. I had a lot of bad headaches for weeks throughout this divorce process. It's because my blood pressure went through the roof because of the stress. Work on yourself, maintain a relationship with your children, she is no longer your problem or your concern.

I hope her next partner / boyfriend is Ike Turner so that I can get full custody and move back to the east coast where my family and her family are.

Then there a snake in the grass. But even though you're friends your partner is who owes you an explanation.

Your ex was a willing participant. Remember that. Don't get hung up blaming the other person. Blame the person who made a vow to be with you.

make sure you text or email several friends that on this night. she said this is what she would do if I don't do what she wants to do. Try to only communicate with her via email or text and seek a lawyer like yesterday

I just conversed with a close friend of mine. told her that I just read the transcripts of all the things that I received from the wife of man my wife cheated with. It wasn't emotional it just made me realize that I deserve way better than someone who would not emotionally engage with me but actively tell her friends etc everything in her life. been with this woman 18 years and I've raised my voice to her maybe five times because I grew up in a high-volume household and don't want my child to ex…

Sit down and tell them. Let them know that you both love them and that this decision has nothing to do with them or their actions or affections towards their parents. Let them know that both of their parents love them and care for them.
