| 1 | The “incel” slur is making it impossible for me to use the internetGenuine question, is it a slur if the people who it’s used against are the ones who created the term? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/02/23 09:02 AM |
| 2 | If "pussy" and "bitch" are sexist words, why are "dick" and "bastard" not also?Yeah I’m from the south so that’s probably why | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 13/09/22 01:45 PM |

| 0 | How does misandry hurt men in the same ways misogyny hurts women?Okay, but then is “internalized misogyny” and “toxic masculinity” the same monster by a different name depending on perspective? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/09/22 02:40 AM |
| -6 | How does misandry hurt men in the same ways misogyny hurts women? Is that misandry when the people killing men are also men most of the time? Again, not trying to offend. Just trying to understand. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/09/22 09:05 PM |
| 1 | How does misandry hurt men in the same ways misogyny hurts women? You’re not off the mark at all, I live in the south of the US and if you know anything about that, you’ll also know that the culture often hurts everyone for the sake of traditionalism. Army takes a very big part of that. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/09/22 09:04 PM |
| -3 | How does misandry hurt men in the same ways misogyny hurts women? The issue they’ve expressed to me is actually that they feel men are being ‘feminized’ and aren’t being allowed to be ‘real men’ at a societal level. That war is one of the ways men express their masculinity, that violence bloodshed is just something that the need. Like it’s a desire they need to have fulfilled. I guess that’s why I was seeing it as an issue of toxic masculinity. I don’t think masculinity is inherently toxic, but I think they’re ideas of it were. Obviously I know all men don’t t… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/09/22 06:34 PM |
| -23 | How does misandry hurt men in the same ways misogyny hurts women?I didn’t mean to offend you or hurt you in anyway, but please keep in mind that I have veterans in my family who would take great umbrage with you saying that no one wants to go to war and fight for their country. This is coming from someone that doesn’t like the idea of a draft or coerced enrollment. I also didn’t mean that Men™️ are responsible for these things, I was saying that it was all men in power when those decisions were made at the legal level. Yes, when women do something like slut s… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/09/22 10:49 AM |

| 1 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?I meant more in how toxic masculinity affects men, and how toxic femininity affects women. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 06/08/22 12:31 AM |
| 0 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with? Not really, it’s not saying that masculine or feminine attributes are inherently bad. But there are aspects that have been attributed to both of these concepts that are damaging to those perpetuating them and those who have to endure others doing so. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/08/22 10:30 PM |
| 1 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?Masculinity in itself isn’t what’s toxic, and there’s also toxic femininity. I keep hearing and learning about both ad nauseam. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/08/22 07:46 PM |
| 1 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?In California bill SB 481 is designed to reduce the amount of alimony paid has been making its way through the legislature over the past few months. When determining alimony, the bill would require courts to consider “the extent to which income for support was already capitalized and paid to the other spouse in the division of community property, in order to avoid double counting the income when the result would be inequitable.” This would mostly be impacting men. It’s being pushed most by Nancy… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/08/22 01:27 AM |
| 1 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?It might just be because I’m from the south but that’s all I see, and all I hear about. I’m not saying you guys don’t exist, I join this subreddit for a reason. But the only place I hear or read about people like you, are on here. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/08/22 01:20 AM |

| 1 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?I mean in real life. What I mentioned in my comment was real life experience as well as those people also spreading that goodness to other people. I was a babysitter for four years so I saw a lot of good and a lot of bad. I don’t even live in a particularly progressive area, I’m from the south. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/08/22 08:50 PM |
| 1 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?I suppose one would be my boyfriend and me. It’s really not that hard to find. I struggle to find the “feminists” you’re talking about. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/08/22 07:04 PM |
| 2 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with? That’s a very fair point, I also live in the south so…I’m practically drowning in them. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/08/22 03:51 PM |
| -1 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with? From what I’ve seen, MRA don’t particularly care about equitable division of labor though. What I’ve mostly seen is enjoying the parts of patriarchy that work for them like being main breadwinners or having someone like their wives, doing all the unpaid labor of the home, while disliking the feelings of inadequacy and insecurity that come with not being able to express yourself properly, for example. I’m not saying that’s all I’ve seen, obviously, but it’s a big example. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/08/22 03:46 PM |
| 3 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?I don’t know who you’ve been talking to but I’ve only ever heard of black fathers being victimized by feminists. Like, exclusively. From how since the slave trade started, they’d separate black fathers from their families to use them to “breed” more slaves, to how later on they’d make all parties work so hard that they’d have no solid family structure, to the government flooding black work places with drugs and further hurting our living conditions, to not allowing black men to purchase good hom… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/08/22 03:40 PM |
| 0 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?Broadly, when couples seek mutuality to share power, decision-making, unpaid work, and resources on equal terms they are happier and healthier. For instance, couples benefit when unpaid work (cooking, cleaning, yard work, paying bills, and so on) is negotiated and agreed upon, rather than an assumed role based on gender. Couples that divide unpaid labour fairly and based on what they’re good at and what they enjoy doing, instead of gender roles, avoid a lot of future resentment. | -6 | What political party do you think most MRAs align with?I’ve seen intersectional feminism doesn’t enforce male gender roles but actually encourage us as a whole to analyze why those roles are what they are and what feels authentic to anyone. intersectional being the key term though. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/08/22 03:01 AM |
| 0 | Generalizing FeministsI’m so sorry, I live in the south of the US and I have one guy friend who was raped by another guy and his case went by without a sitch thankfully. But I have four friends who’re girls who’ve been raped, by men, differing details and situations but they were all told to settle for aggravated assault or something along those lines because “rape is difficult to prove” and if they “stick to the rape story” then they’re less likely to be convicted of anything. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/08/22 08:11 PM |
| -1 | Generalizing FeministsI don’t know where you live but I have several family members and friends who’ve been disregarded and gaslit when reporting rape. All women. But I understand the other two. I’m against infant circumcision and I don’t like military requirements in general. Those are super unfair. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/08/22 05:42 PM |
| 1 | Generalizing FeministsGenuine question: what rights do men not have in the US or Canada that women do? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/08/22 03:19 PM |
| 6 | what do you think of MRAs saying the problem is unmasculine men? It’s like there’s no right way to exist to people like that except for EXACTLY the way they want you to be. “Manly” and “feminine” are incredibly arbitrary concepts. Let people live. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 30/07/22 06:04 AM |
| -22 | I believe I've finally found the language to describe one of the privileges I've always felt that women have over men...I mean if you’re not an “ice queen” then you’re also more likely to be targeted for rape. “The hard truth is that women often cannot afford to be Nice Girls. It is not safe. Yes, we need to hold abusive men accountable and insist they get the help they need, but in the meantime, women continue to be abused. And there are too many people (women as well as men) who will take advantage of any weakness they find in another person. Being too nice is certainly viewed as a weakness. While not every Nic… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/07/22 01:43 PM |
