There's no solution to being dealt a losing hand. Which, from your link, happens less than by strangers, looking at the totals.

Exposure times to individuals in each category are important to account for. It's most likely to be an acquaintance. Reality doesn't reflect women being at their most vulnerable while independent No it does. Where are the women's fathers/brothers/cousins in these cases?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/19 10:15 PM

When I say "familiar" I don't mean friends or acquaintances. I mean "of their family." The more a woman relies on just random dudes she knows, the more vulnerable.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/19 09:41 PM

A woman's immediate security comes mostly from proximity to familiar men. For this reason, any woman "striking out on her own" is far more vulnerable than a man under the same conditions. This is why I think a significant number of feminists become feminist, in order to put either their rivals or their victims in compromising circumstances.

Young women are addicted to that shit; they basically live and posture online, constantly. Using social media because women do it is like getting your nails done because women do it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are gay men not men? So what? Nothing indicates it should be a cardinal issue or even regarded at all. Are minority men in the criminal justice system not men? So what? A lack of leniency is also not a current cardinal issue. Are men not partaking in higher education not an issue that affects men? Better schools and easier access are not the problem. Most people have no business in higher education; it needs to be properly exclusionary, rather than filling humanities…

The feminist doctrine is to replace the feminine imperative with a masculine one.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/19 01:30 PM

An interesting point to make, when it seems like the only ones who do really care about a lot of these issues effecting men are women. The push for criminal justice reform is heavily led by women. It's mostly feminist groups that push for the end of selective service. LGBT rights and acceptance (which are mens issues) are heavily fought for by women. Better schools and easier access to higher education is also an issue heavily fought for by women. Is this a joke? None of those are worthwhile end…

This is kind of a roundabout way of explaining it, but it definitely gets the point across. The social vectors for normal human growth have been removed and replaced with increasingly virtualized, increasingly omnipresent, simulacra. Technology amplified the social trend of deconstructing spaces of shared attention, and now builds new ones that are purely fantastical because they are purely digital, and therefore lack much of the "en-frame-ment" with which we evolved.

From observing the real world and what actually happens? You are talking about something that maybe 10% of people are capable of doing regularly. And even so, this comment is presupposing that it is possible to look at the real world without any sort of contextual framing. I get what you mean, but there's more at play.

Be interesting, and provide a good example, but withdraw all support and acknowledgement that is not directly a response to improvement of behavior. Have a conference with the whole family. It needs to be a concerted effort. She has an addiction and it needs to be treated like one. First and foremost, your goal is to get this dialectic to begin in her mind: Participants visited the lab, where they were asked to reflect on their social media use from five respects: How much time they spent on soc…

Females are far more fragile. People are forgetting that now, much to the detriment of women.

How do you know that? Has anyone tested it? Marriage is universally sacred across cultures which have created civilizations. So cultures have to exclude privileges? No privelege can exist in a culture? Privileges are inherently a discretionary property of the sovereign. Of concern is that, here in the modern west, we assume (and declare) universal levels of agency which are not first demonstrated to exist.

I don't think this is necessarily a definitive characteristic of TRP. But, as Haidt puts it (or may have gotten it elsewhere): "successful cultures efficiently turn resources into children." Having so much female participation in the workplace re-orients resource allocation from children to hedonism, which creates a sort of vicious cycle due in part to The Paradox of Hedonism.

The short of it is: Feminism isn't just a shit test. All of these notions such as "vulnerability is strength" are ways for women to put other women in compromising positions. This is also why betas love feminism, and commonly end up like DrPizza. It's a morally loaded social sleight-of-hand used by sociopathic women and men to prey upon more naive women.

I remember seeing a study that found indication of a slight assortative mating trait associated with men with blue eyes rating women with blue eyes as slightly more attractive than controls. It's not exactly the same as the fetishization though.

Child support and alimony are obvious no-goes and not comparable to a SAHM (i.e. normal throughout history). The problem is in the institutions that no longer support norms that encourage family cohesion.

Basically men tend to be very coalition minded and are geared to look for anything that implies conduct that would make another man an unreliable comrade in arms. Guys who always seem to have an extravagant story to go with a topic, make arbitrary promises, and withhold detail tend to be untrustworthy, and you can't count on someone who always makes excuses and deflections to have your back. I suppose it's more an intuitive thing. I've watched a woman identify all of the signs too, but she then …

This is "positive alpha" vs "negative alpha." There's a very good argument for negative not actually being alpha, because he undermines himself through his inability to maintain a coalition and becomes powerless, which ain't alpha.

"Women's movements" are effective due to the Women are Wonderful Effect as well as typical backing from Woke Capital (because radical emancipation has wildly expanded consumerism). Men also operate in a coalition-based social mode, as opposed to the consensus based feminine.

People don't tend to be particularly mean once periods of struggle pass. The objective of wars, imprisonments, genocides, executions, etc... is never just to be mean, it's always to affect a change on the social environment, to express a will to power such that it is no longer so necessary. Of course things will never be all one way or another, as your slippery slope implies.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/19 04:49 PM

Who said anything about perfection? Survival necessitates "being mean"; anything else is the luxury notion of a decadent lifestyle bought by the very things it despises, struggle and asceticism.

Well Bad ManTM did x as well as y so yeah, they must be the same. Why do you want the human race to engage in a suicide cult mentality of dumbing themselves down and becoming vulnerable to diseases? Because that is what the alternative, dysgenics, is. There were occasions in the 70s and 80s of students picketing their lectures or even chasing them off of stages, particularly Wilson and Trivers. Steven Pinker, and others, have many choice excerpts and anecdotes that give an idea of just how ridiculous the harrying, and the grounds for it, got.

Maybe so, but "magic" and "safe and effective" are elastic terms that could mean all conditions that make people "want" to poop are also satisfied (never any stimulation of the relevant nerves, any resulting side-effects from lack of stimulation are accounted for... etc). I'm not suggesting simply reverting, but creating conditions that allow for a return to healthy family life, which will require institutional restructuring to attend to the problems new technology and incentives produce. This restructuring would involve taking cues from various periods of history in addition to some novel solutions based in an updated understanding of man.

Someone would choose artificial wombs (if cheap and effective) for the same reason they choose shoes Completely apples and oranges. We don't wear shoes because of some biological drive that demands it's own satisfaction. Are you seriously under the impression that women want kids bc they enjoy pregnancy and childbirth? That everyone in a household must work, and that there is a lack of "branch families" to cope, is symptomatic of a governmental and social paradigm that has failed the cardinal role that persists through time, which Tucker Carlson puts very well: "to create an economy in which normal people can get married and raise children." Gender roles don't necessarily have to be exactly as they used to (after all to which "used to" are we referring), but there are clearly some assumptions we've made along …

Artificial wombs are to reproduction what pornography is to sex. The meanings we derive from the world around us are contingent upon how particular constant scenes played out for our ancestors so as to allow us to interpret the world at all. Does this address what you're referring to? I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that. The reason I chose "performatism" goes back to the Latin root per formam, which means doing things through form. This suggests that narrative works of art are using formal means to create fictional conditions for experiencing love, belief, beauty, transcendence and similar positive states of social interaction. Basically, as life continues or begins to imitate this art, an important thing to consider is what…

Sure, it's possible. It depends on whether the recovery from (roughly as Nietzsche puts it) the physiological decline, brought on by the developed world's drives in chaos, is successful. That there is even so much chatter about the matter does mean there is a rising interest in at least addressing the problems, along with a base of cultural change valuing immersion over individual contemplation.

I don't know what that entails or what you mean by it, I just don't think it's fair that most of the risk is put on the man's shoulders, especially when women have all the same rights and privileges as men do everywhere else in life. Want alimony or child support? It's called a job, not an ex-husband, baby daddy, or live in arrangement with your boyfriend. I think the risk should be squarely on whose fault it is the marriage failed, and the reason needs to not be "I'm bored." A return to some so…

In some ways keeping the wife out of your wallet would do just that. Ever notice how flippant most women are about marriage and divorce, and how cautions / defensive most men are? It's because women get a pay day in the event that it doesn't work out, and men get punished for it. The prizes absolutely require removal, but so too does the lack of fault. It's inevitable. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but total impermanence will lead to a collapse which will have the victors re-instituting permanence so as to ensure their children can have the stability they didn't. Such is the decadent-ascetic loop of history.

I'm sure the beyond humans will still find much to war over, and have chances to be decadent. Unless you're referring to some sort of total realization, which is so far beyond the mysteries of the future that it's only useful to think about as that sort of glimmer of the divine just beyond the horizon.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/19 10:51 PM

Couldn't these ages be described as differing accents/flavors of imperfection with an eventuality of the ascension/evolution to perfection and unity with the divine? Why do you think "differing accents/flavors of imperfection" would eventually lead to perfection and unity with the divine? I suppose you could call that a cardinal goal of anyone trying to build back up to a golden age, but this history can never really formally close.

How many want to marry ME and not some qt pure Asian mail order 19 year old? You have to make yourself worth it to those few just as they have increased their value. Though the Asian mail order bride thing is largely a low smv guy phenomenon. But the important thing you're overlooking here is that marriage is s…

Precisely. I was interested in it for a time, only to find it is ultimately another ideology cordoning itself off from reality in a box of rationality. It is, in Nietzschean terms, life denying.

MGTOW is an evolutionary dead-end, a white flag.

Feminism is there to help women. I would argue that feminism is more there to make women vulnerable such that the ratty men who claim to help them, under its guise, have chances to exploit them.

The success of the west enabled female privilege, it's not a component of it. Quite the opposite: decadence is a cancer on success. I'm not sure what sort of degens you're associating with that think the sort of gynocentrism the west currently has is what makes western culture superior.

We aren't saying average guys don't get anything, we are saying that the average guys don't get the average value here, the distribution is very high on one side of the curve and very low on another. Also, I love your refutation to the rule. "Average guys still have sex so it's wrong."
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/18 04:52 PM
2

It's not that guys fitting the description literally don't exist, it's that the implication that the average can be assumed of most guys is misleading. The curve isn't described by merely getting an average.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/18 03:01 PM

"Average guy" doesn't exist. Remember the 80-20 rule isn't accounted for in an average.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/18 08:31 PM

Me thinks you are assuming something that was not said. Well, you said there was "nothing wrong with it." Are you going to enforce long term monogamous relationships using the state? Are you going to shun/shame people who decide to have short term hookups? Ostracism? Absolutely. That's why we don't (and probably won't) see eye to eye on this topic. Maybe not immediately, but I was an Objectivist once.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/18 11:02 AM

The moral licensing of short term hookups over long term attachments has disastrous social implications. STI's are the responsibility of individuals to protect themselves from. Well wouldn't it be nice if we could count on people to behave responsibly on their own accounts. And to always have foolproof methods of protection, for that matter. I disagree with that ethical foundation. And?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/18 08:58 PM

Because the actions of other people affect society.

This is pretty funny. Any reasonably intelligent, reasonably masculine guy interested in an LTR is going to care about your n-count even if he doesn't ask, because it's a signal regarding your mental and physical health: so he either ballparked it at an acceptable level or is a desperate chump. The best part is that elsewhere in the thread you admitted you withheld this information. Now, why would that be?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/18 08:31 PM
1

What about the negative externalities of a disrupted marketplace and STIs? The only real "morality" is civilization.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/18 08:25 PM
4

You can't honestly interface with the reality of male dominance without "spewing misogynist bullshit." Feminists have to engage in the lie of equality in order to morally load critiques of inequality, because that is the only kind of critique that can be made. And that lie of equality constantly puts women in danger.

They know. They know how the rest of the world views them outside the echo chamber. Social media is more of a game. Never assume a woman who signals all the time on Facebook is being authentic. Two of my friends' wives surprised them with this particular fact "nah, I just post that for my friends."
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/18 03:01 PM

Indeed. The bigger problem posed is the lower testosterone.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/18 07:56 PM

Men in America are fat too. This also leads to lower T.

Where on the totem pole do you think one has to be to feel the need to "out-alpha" incels?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/18 05:15 PM

This was it. If I recall correctly, you're thinking of an Australian study from 2015 which listed "diverse sexuality" as a positive outcome of lesbian parenting.

I don't value female validation. You may have a manchild.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 09:13 PM

When I direct a woman, I tell her what needs to be done in the big picture. I do not need to understand how to do every task, but it helps if I do; however, I do need to understand how everything fits together.

The scenario is certainly better than starvation. There can absolutely be economic reason for this, but it's probably not the best long term solution.

I didn't say they were. I'm pointing out that there is a lot of overlapping variables between this, lesbians, and single mothers.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 08:30 PM

Lesbian couples are worse than single parents at raising children; it doesn't seem like these arrangements would produce outcomes that would be any better.

Foolish if she only cares about short-term gratification, which is all too common and encouraged. Although a couple of those bullet points are kind of iffy.

While you're right in saying the amoral analysis can achieve spectacular results, at the end of the day, humans are moral creatures. It's inevitable, once we move beyond theory, that we will apply morality and thereby create our standards for behavior. "Anger phase" is best described as one in which a man must learn to accept and incorporate contempt in a constructive way. Maximizing happiness is the goal of every living creature on this planet. That's some Schopenhauerian BS.

I've come to suspect that the "victim blaming" seed, in precisely the context you describe, was planted by "allies" who are or who want to be rapists themselves. It reeks of transgressive narration in such a way that I can't help but be reminded of Torches of Freedom.

Sometimes it doesn't register that it happened, especially if drugging was involved; but this doesn't seem solve-able, through mere law, in a way that doesn't have social consequences extreme enough to invalidate the solution. In the modern West, we have entered territory where we have normalized situations in which women are often in extremely vulnerable positions, which they would traditionally not be in, because we have come to expect nothing more than cultural mores to afford them sufficient…

Then she started taking accutane and birth control... That's kind of another lesson to take away from this: these hormonal drugs can affect a woman's psyche and attraction in a big way. So difficult as it may be going forward, be ready for them to slam that eject button in such a situation.

Once you throw criminal activities in there it becomes more clear: there's that obvious danger and penchant for risk taking that we can only assume used to imply the possibility of success as cavemen. Shit, even Nikolas Cruz is drowning in fan mail from women. It's even weirder when the prospects are just addicts who can barely tie their own shoes on a good day and constantly complain about how much their life sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/18 11:22 AM

Just getting sex is enough motivation. Him getting a place to stay is a double bonus. Fair point. They have zero prospects but being good looking, they'd score freebies from fucking rich women. A lot of them, or most even, aren't even good looking though. It seems to be as much an affect of "Wow, he's a hopeless bad decision, and therefore dangerous" or maybe even some sort of mothering instinct to care for a manchild.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/18 12:25 PM

Decent looking 30 something women are decent looking because they look like 20 something women.

It's the kind of average looking ones who get really crazy with the n count.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/18 02:59 PM

No because men don't use sex as a tool to get things from women. They desire the women and the sex. They're not trying to manipulate anyone with sex. I've known homeless guys, or guys just without vehicles, who would trade sex with women for transport and housing. This is, I guess you could call it, "The Alpha Loser" phenomenon and it's really fucking strange because they're usually not even terribly good looking dudes and their "game" is usually straight-up pity. But their overall pathetic deme…

It's more that feminism is serving to make women less afraid of men and men more afraid of women; something that is even less conducive to either sex. The "all sex is rape" thing is a power play in the opposite direction you seem to be seeing.

I don;t think I want to continue this topic if you think finishing high school is too much I'm not a proponent of school. Dr. Peter Gray has a better model here. Now (in industrial societies on the verge of robotization) they need to study 20 years to get a job, and the parents have a pension anyway. Now they can learn 5 different programming languages before they're 18. People only have kids for mushy feely reasons now (yes those feeling are the core of hummanity, but apparently they are not en…

so do high school grads, do you think education got in the way of them having more? Education and having to compete in the same bourgeois dominance hierarchy as men do. (the most important being that kids are useless now) Lol, what? I suppose once you strip all meaning from people's lives through materialistic nihilism.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/18 05:43 PM

Career women have at best, 1 or 2 kids. The number you posited (1.65) is not at population replacement level. The aristocracy used to have tons of kids. It was the peasants who struggled.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/18 04:57 PM

So your "success" is one's ability to be an atomized individual. It would make a lot more sense and fit historical and demographic patterns if it were defined as "has reached a point of stability wherein they can reasonably predict what the future will hold."
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/18 04:49 PM

I wouldn't even say educated and successful. Those aren't literally traits but markers for behaviors which women are less likely to act out, even if they've got the genes, because the incentives are often just not there and it doesn't conform to female reproductive strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/18 04:44 PM

Women try to get commitment from broke unemployed Alpha Fucks? That’s a new one. You must not get out often.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 07:12 PM

Commitment. They are kept around for evaluation and entertainment purposes. Women usually try to get commitment from both AF and BB. Men do not so invest in plates unless they are proven exceptional enough for an LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 06:54 PM

Probably for the best. Be aware that that's a pretty common bait line; take note of it but don't get too excited.

You seem to care too much about female validation to be a stable father. You're such great father material and yet none of these women made you one.

A younger model? You're vastly underestimating here.

Plates are literally just women who are not good enough. That's not the sort of dichotomy you find with AF/BB.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 05:27 PM

Not explicitly so. Though Marx certainly perverted his conception of it through his radical materialism: something the more reactionary and Nietzschean Max Weber has already addressed.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 04:32 PM

It's primarily leftists I see dismissing social constructs as "spooks." It seems more nebulous than culture because societies are more concentric. Society requires interaction, culture requires agreement.

What I'm saying here is that this lust is from an originary scene (the particulars of which still largely exists) wherein this behavior was life affirming (or "righteous" by pre-Christian/Enlightenment standards).
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 03:13 PM

Then what does it mean?

Who holds the moral center of all ascendant empires?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 12:43 PM

I'm not sure how you can lament the fall of great empires and call for non-patriarchal moral imposition in the same breath.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 11:52 AM

Virginity gets a lot more important in environments where venereal diseases are rampant. It can also be a matter of paternal certainty. It is "righteous" insofar as it can be considered Dharma.

Is there a problem with that?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 11:47 AM

You don't believe a group of people can be socially engaged with one another?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/18 11:44 AM

Exactly. A social order can't simply be chanted into existence with Universal Imperatives, otherwise Anarchists would be a lot more successful, it must be imposed.

the husband's wage doesn't magically get doubled in couples where the wife doens't work. That's completely missing the point, which is that it's now much harder to get by on one income. Now ideally we could get through this by forming Stem Families with grandma and/or grandpa, but the western world (US and UK in particular) have a hard-on for the Absolute Nuclear Family. You will always be worse off with one worker instead of two, in some cases it will bring you under the poverty line, in some n…

poverty is a direct effect of not having a job No it isn't. If a woman's husband makes enough to support both of them then they aren't in poverty. It's much harder to do this in the modern world, however. ...but I don't see why there should be a trend in stay at home mothers to be unmarried They're called Welfare Queens.

So maybe a handful of women in history displayed martial leadership or were good shooters (actually women are quite well suited for marksmanship, it's the other aspects of combat that usually pose problems). That's kind of my point: this is extremely uncommon and shouldn't be expected.

The reason they were recorded was precisely due to how unusual they were. Khutulun failed in her ultimate endeavor, as did Boudica even with a massive numerical advantage, and Jeanne Hachette did what would have been typical of any soldier. I remember hearing this interview of a German soldier speaking of his experience on the eve of Soviet invasion of the city he was in. The commanding officer was ordering the women and children to stay inside "because the Soviets will rape you" to which a woma…

If 'doing what it takes to save the person/day' is apparently 'unfeminine', then women never get to be the hero in their own narrative. Because the same way men who join the army/police or become doctors are driven by wanting to be the hero, women are driven by that as well (also when they become nurses, social workers, teachers). The idea that wanting to save the day is very much a thing only men experience is bullshit. Women experience very few workplace deaths. You can say you want to stick y…
