Secondly, the argument isn't that women have better support networks, they clearly do, its that having a support network does not necessarily correlate with greater happiness outside of relationships. As far as I'm aware there are two clauses that constitute and define rape under UK law. It was actually out of laziness that I started losing weight ironically. I hate food shopping so I started using one of those services that offers different recipes and you pick them and get the ingredients delivered every week. The sad reality is that a lot of women are not perceptive to men being vulnerable. I've read lots of posts over the years from men who open up to their partners only to be ignored, derided, looked upon with contempt and even broken up with. On the flip side men can be just as guilty of dismissing their partners feelings or being thick skulled. The main difference is that society at large recognises that men being thick is a problem but doesn't see it the same way about women.

However, gender specific spaces don't inhibit this and would, in fact, enhance it. Men need to learn that they can open up in a safe space, its a stepping stone to being more open in general. Its a UK newspaper and under UK law only penetration with a penis is considered rape, however she could be charged with assault by penetration which is used in cases where there's penetration from any body part that's not a penis or with a foreign object. Simply put there is very little credible research in to same sex DV, with most studies suffering from selection bias and/or low sample sizes. I saw a similar trial to this conducted elsewhere with the same result. It turned out that even without names and genders added the AI was able to basically determine gender from the content of the resumes. They had trained the AIs using resumes from previous successful candidates, most of which were men. So when the AI assessed new resumes it looked for ones similar to what had been successful before and thus largely picked men every time.
