It's so rare it makes the news. That's the more interesting part. It's not a "got em" type of thing, it's stupid to give any form of alimony of any kind.

It's incredibly rare because most women do not marry down. Again, hypergamy is so in play that it's newsworthy.

They should just pass a law saying that any marriage after, say, 2024, is simply not eligible for alimony. It no longer is a recognized pension scheme for anyone.

Read a post by a lawyer in the US once that stated that women are far more likely to fight against alimony and payouts than men are. He said that men just accept that they have to pay whilst women are repulsed by the thought of it and scream that their husbands should just get a job. He also added that even when men do get payouts they're often for less and for shorter periods of time than women get.

Don't ever try to attain justice by crafting good laws. Just craft laws that benefit women today, and if circumstances change to their disadvantage, modify the laws so they keep benefiting women.

I saw on a program a story about a group of feminist lawyers trying to change this law and for it to only work for women because “men are taking advantage of this”.

This was few years ago and I just took it as ridiculous because you can’t make different laws for the two genders.

But now I realize I was totally wrong. In the last couple years there’s been such an unfair and biased system that now I know this can and might happen. Women literally are getting less and less jail time for the same crime a man does, a feminist group has made it their mission to get women out of jail and to change it so that they don’t fill their jails up anymore with the idea that women only kill to “protect” themselves and only commit crimes against an abuser etc. Even though more men are in jail than women, this group feels that women have it worst. They literally say that jail hurts women more and women don’t deserve to be locked up like men since women “don’t reoffend and aren’t really violent” and they think that space should be used up for men since men’s prisons are getting packed.

Then you have cases where female teachers sleep with underage boys and get pregnant and they get probation or a slap on the wrist. Then when the underage boy comes of age they take them to court to pay child support.

Feminists and the mainstream media has been so successful in pushing toxic masculinity, patriarchy, and that women are victims of this society and are so oppressed that it’s looking like separate laws for men and women will not only be allowed but encouraged.

I just can’t believe that there isn’t like a niche market or group who will stand up and talk about this. Every time someone does they are labeled a misogynist or something to get them discredited and ignored.

Soon only men will pay for child support and alimony even though 90percent of the time they are doing so anyway. Soon it’ll be a law that if the woman made more money and the man is still able to work he needs to go work and not depend on her. I see this coming and feminists will find a way to spin this into it somehow oppressing women.

I’ll be honest. It is unfair. It’s unfair on whoever is on the sharp edge of that sword.

I can only hope that news like this highlights it to the main populous so that finally people take notice.

Does it suck that every time a woman gets fucked the law changes? Yes. Does it suck that women complain about being the ones who are oppressed even when there’s more laws benefiting them than men? Yes.

But whatever, I won’t put myself in this position to find out. But maybe women can stop viewing marriage like a meal ticket and realise they could get fucked by the system too.

I’d rather only feminists had to deal with the shit men deal with, but so be it.
