If you are a half way decent parent, your kids will idolize you. She probably doesn't even know what it literally means to be a mother, but she loves her mom and wants to be like her. How anyone can politicize that is disgusting. My parent's were awesome. I wanted to be just like my dad for as long as I could remember. Shit, I still do.

I'm pretty sure the latest stat is that 97% or child support payments are made by men to women. Of the 3 percent that are supposed to be paid by the mother to the father, over half give nothing or don't pay the full amount.

Those aren't societal rules, that's family bond. Entirely different idea.

The reason I could see this is as being discriminatory(aside from the obvious) is that during the busy season, if they were to completely fill up with exception of the women only floor. Would they then be allowed to turn away male costumers with open rooms on the women's floor? If so, how is that not discriminatory?

Can someone link to the story of the 13 year-old kid that was raped by his teacher and now has to pay child support?

I highly recommend it. I had it done when I was 18. I would also highly recommend freezing some sperm prior, though. I know I don't want to have any kids, but I also know that what I wanted for my life 5 years ago is not what I want now, which probably won't be what I want down the line. My point is, give yourself the flexibility of changing your mind even if you are damn sure you won't.

Take Judo or Jujitsu. Not because I think you are actually likely going to get in a fight, but just for the confidence that if something were to happen you'll know what to do. Also, when you know how to fight, people tend to leave you alone even if you don't say anything about it. I think it's just the confidence thing working doubly well.

I disagree with a lot of people here. Like, yeah, I wouldn't tell the girl I've only been seeing for 3 months. But if I was exclusive with a girl for like a year and we were starting to have those kinds of talks I would tell her.

Lied, mostly. Said I was planning on joining the Marines(which at the time, were actually trying to get me to enlist) and wanted to freeze sperm so my soon to be fiance could have kids if something were to happen to me after we got married.

I usually dislike people like Tom Leykis, but he makes a good point with a tactic that he calls a 'Hail Marry'. I'll see if I can find the clip. Essential you tell her you love her and want to be together with her forever and that you want to have kids with her someday. You tell her all the problems that would happen with having a kid right now, but in a few years you want to have kids. Basically say you want to be with her forever. Then you suggest the abortion, for the good of the relationship…

I highly doubt any women would try to 'trap' me and I think I do a pretty darn good job steering clear of them in the first place. With that said, accidents happen. I have seen enough pro choice women decide to keep the baby to know you can't trust what they say they'll do in a situation until they are actually in that situation. It was an insurance move, plain and simple. I can still have kids, when I'm ready to have kids and not a day sooner.
/r/MensRights03/11/11 11:54 PM

Meh $20 a month is a lot less than I'd be paying to keep a baby alive every month.
/r/MensRights03/11/11 08:16 PM

It was cheaper other places, but it would require me to travel and this place was the most legit that I could find in my area. Anyway, I spend more than $200 a year on gum so it really isn't that big of an expense. Also, from my understanding, you don't need a full IVF to implant sperm in a woman that is fertile. To implant the sperm in a fertile woman only cost about 2K and is funnily enough basically just a turkey baster.

Had mine done a year ago. I have health insurance, so the actual procedure only cost about $100 in total($30 co pay for surgery, $70 in copays for visits) The expensive part was getting sperm frozen, that was about $800 total. That was for the freezing and a year's storage. I just paid off another 5 year storage for $1000. All in all, I spent about 2k for peace of mind. Totally worth it considering my parents got pregnant when they were a year younger than I am.

Look at them, smile and say 'hi'. Also, talk slow. Not like exaggeratedly so, but a nice pace. Also, it's totally fine(and expected) to be blown out sometimes. If you opened and stuck around long enough to actually get blown out, you did well.

Meh, do whatever you want to do. I think I've said the head thing , specifically, like once. I really don't think about that kind of nuance, just whatever comes to mind. It's a playful, absurd insult to get her to get her not to talk about that kind of shit. If I said something, "Oh no, they're fine," or something to that effect it rewards behavior I don't want from her. And it can only continue because you allowed and reward it. It's like when a girl argues with you over petty shit to get you to apologize or get a rise out of you. If you don't the first time she does it, she learns that kind of crap doesn't work on you. It's like when a girl shit tests you by s…

I don't neg. I think it's stupid. That wasn't meant to be a neg. The remark isn't to bring her guard down, or make her feel insecure. It's just supposed to be a ridiculous thing you say to get her to stop talking about how 'fat' she is or how her 'boobs are too small'. Also, I used the word playful, if you didn't catch it. Honestly, you can say anything if you got a smile on your face. Frankly, I don't like talking to a girl about her insecurities if I've known them less than a day. I say shit l…

First off, I love small boobs. Slightly more than I love big boobs. When things like this happen, where it seems like they are fishing for some form of validation like "Oh no, they're fine." or whatever else everyone always tell them, I usually playfully add something else they should be more worried about. So maybe something like, "Yeah, but only because your head looks gigantic." or something like that. They either laugh it off, or get defensive like "My head isn't big, and my body is fine" or…

Building comfort is necessary, yes, but not to that degree. The foundation of most PUA is 1 Open -> 2 Attract -> 3 Qualify -> 4 Build Comfort -> 5 Close If the guy just just stayed with step 4, and never closed, that jut leaves him sexually frustrated with yet another friend. Nothing wrong with having female friends, but it is disingenuous to be 'friends' with a girl you are trying to have sex with. That's just me, though. If we have sex, and it doesn't work out, I'm all for being just friends. …

I'm pretty much an old curmudgeon about texting, and I'm only 20. If I need to relate information pertaining to anything, that can be resolved in a few sentences, I will text. If I need to confirm something, I'll send a text. If it is a minor conversation that only requires an initial message, her response, and my sign off, then I'll text. If I have to send more than 2-3, I'm going to call after the third because at that point it is something that is best to clarify over the phone. I know this s…

Stop staring and talk to her. The longer you stare, the further you slide on the spectrum of 'cute guy I got caught checking out' to 'that fucking creeper that keeps staring at me'. Keep in mind though, it really doesn't matter how far you get on that scale once you actually open. Girls have this weird way of retroactively dismissing previous circumstances if you make them happy. Trust me, I rear-ended a girl and hooked up with her that night. You have value, and you give it to people you like. You don't give it just to get their approval. You give value to most people all the time, and then give more when they earn it. I think about it like dog training. When you train a dog to do something, you give it a treat when it does something right. You don't give it treats all the time, or when it does something bad. One SO forever? No. I like to have girlfriends, some have even lasted a few years. The common theme that all them had was that after a while, I just stopped caring. So yes, I would like someone to share stuff with, but not the same someone forever. I end relationships when I stop caring, if I ever find someone that I never stop caring about then I'll stay with them. Simple as that. Frogma nailed it. I had to deal with a girl like that for years in highschool and college. It wasn't even oneitis. She was in the circle of friends I had that ended up going to college together. She was always seemingly hot for me, but would not chase the proverbial carrot so ended up just being there for years. With girls like that you basically have to guide them by the hand from start to finish and really not expect a whole lot.

I prefer the path I took. Freeze sperm -> Vasectomy, then never tell anyone about it. When you have decided you absolutely, 100% sure you want to have a kid, then tell the person you expect to have the kid with. If you want to have a kid, but don't want all the marriage nonsense, find a surrogate.

It means don't be 'on' then 'off', part of picking this stuff up is that it you become what you always wanted to be. Not some of the time, but all the time. That's why I think routines and anything similar to MM is only good for beginners and that once you got a hold of things (aa conquered and what not) you should do more along the Bad Boy/Juggler methods where you just are awesome, so there is no need for you to be 'off' because you are just being awesome you all the time.
/r/seduction27/04/11 05:26 AM

Also, an average estimate on how often you had sex with each would be an interesting factor. 29 one shots aren't nearly as impressive as say 9 one shots, and 20 reoccurring lays.

I was in the same boat. They don't think of you as 'temporary', they think of you as a 'trial' friend. They aren't familiar with you yet. Friendship is built on mutual experience, so create chances for experiences to happen. 'Real' friendship happens after you develop the trust, bonds and good feeling that can only happen after sharing enough mutual experience. The best way to get over 'trial' status is to create opportunities to hangout with them more until you just become friends. Don't wait t…

I wouldn't take them that seriously. I've taken that myers-brig test like 4 times (once for high school, once for one college, once for another and once for some random club thing) and never really got a standard result back. Yes, she might have hot friends; no, she probably is not okay with you sleeping with all of them. And having her try to be your wing-man is (usually) recipe for disaster. I have a friend in New Yor…

I think he meant that women are posting advice that is counter productive; like the whole "become friends first" bit their. Granted, having a few hot girls for friends is good social proof, and they can be fun to hang out with. Women can make good friends if you aren't one of those pining 'friend zone' losers and aren't interested in sex with her. Anyway, I think his title came off harsher than he probably meant. I can't remember who said it, but someone in another thread suggests challenging them to a game (like rock, paper, scissors), loser pays. If she doesn't play: she just wanted the drink/bitch. If she wins: as a man of valor you buy the drink. Say she owes you the next one. If she loses: she buys you a drink, you return the favor on the next round. If she doesn't pay up after losing, she isn't worth it. Also, good excuse for kino.

Read into the story: ...scared me by saying that I make her nervous some times because she feels like we don't click or have that much in common sometimes... We both attempted to make out, but we failed pretty bad and laughed it off. We both agreed to keep working on having a stronger connection and all that. She sounds like she is barely interested or possibly not interested but doesn't know how to say 'no'. The 'stupid puppy' act can only last for so long.

some of y'all are so obsessed with being the 'alpha male' i don't know if you even care about getting girls Once you are able to 'get girls' with relative ease, suddenly getting this one doesn't seem all that important. This is horrible to say, but once you know how to get any girl you want, you can afford to be picky. You no longer have to be thankful that someone is having sex with you, so you should look past their tremendous hangups. If the hangups are to much, you can get a new girl.
