I’d say keep up the self improvement but maybe you need to seek some processional help. You’re like what, a college age guy?, beating yourself up over this. You’ve made gains. You’ve had some successes. That’s a good thing. I know it’s hard to hear this but you can’t give a shit and when you get there you’ll relax and success will come. I’m looking for a house right now. The advice they always give you is don’t over-invest. There will be another house. Lol. Chillax. Go out and enjoy yourself.

I pay on dates. I don’t try to get a girl by saying I’ll pay for a date. I’d feel like a loser if I couldn’t pay for the date. It’s not about her. Sometimes a girl will pay. I accept it when it happens. That’s cool.

The makers of Monopoly got a hundred year old board game to the front page of the news paper. Mission accomplished.

She manipulated me into watching 40 seconds of that video that I’ll never get back. Get to the point people!

I went from mopping floors in college to making beaucoup bucks as an engineer. Your name wouldn’t be Will Hunting, would it?

Yeah, admittedly I only tried it once or twice. It just went so bad I gave up. =) Maybe I'll take another stab at it. Hopefully not do any permanent damage.

I gave a safety razor a shot a couple years ago and I just couldn’t do it. I had read such good things about how it was closer and the shave would last longer but I just wound up hacking the shit out of my face.

I often wonder how many of these girls are pining after some guy who doesn't even exist anymore b/c he probably put on 40 pounds since he was banging her 10 years ago.

Any girl that’s gonna let you and your buddy double team her in a basement at some party is probably batshit crazy. Don’t put yourself in that situation guys. We tell the ladies the same thing.

Fucking scary as hell that some chicks will throw criminal charges at a guy rather than admit they cheated.

Looking at her pics it looks like she's crested the hill. Still hot af but on the down slope. I'm guessing that's why she's trying to transition into other things.

Reminded me about an old article about Brook Burke. https://www.esquire.com/news-politics/a1267/life-beautiful-woman-0499/ This was before she was even really famous. lol. Woman literally causes car accidents.

I think it’s more respectful to women to believe a woman can be just as much of an asshole as a man. White Knighting gives them no agency.
/r/TheRedPill07/03/18 05:51 AM

I know. The lesson is don’t put your self in that situation but you’d think you could trust a friend. The white knighting at your buddy’s expense kills me. That’s enough to end a friendship.

Yeah. That train left the station. What's she really supposed to think if he comes to her with this? I really don't blame her in this case. If you're gonna get married you got to get that done at the beginning.

Here’s something funny that happened last week. I started getting all these plenty of fish emails. Like every time I checked my email there were 10-20 new message and no unsubscribe link. I could tell from the usernames it was a bunch of guys asking out some girl. I had to reset the password and turn off the email notifications to get it to stop flooding my email. While I was there I looked at the pics and the girl was a total troll. I can’t imagine how many messages an even slightly attractive …

At my local bar a draft is 2 bucks. So 4 beers is 6 bucks because the bartender will buy you at least 1 back. Maybe you don't drink cheap beer like me. I just don't really need to get buzzed before I go out. I will never mock a man for moisturizing. Your skin is important. Lol.

I think you're trying to apply morality and TRP says your expectations of morality will not be reciprocated. Sucks I know. You're right. Nothing wrong with feeling indignation. It's not about giving a pass. It's about being prepared.

I never used to believe this could happen until I saw it happen to my friend. Went away to to a concert with a coworker. They spent the weekend together. Had sex. When they got back she told at their work everyone what a great time they had. Two weeks later he boyfriend came home and suddenly he was dealing with a rape accusation. Some women would rather ruin your life then admit they cheated on their boyfriend. He was lucky there was a ton of contrary evidence but he did have to get a lawyer.

Yep. There probably is some truth that the heads of the largest companies in the world make more than their equivalent female counter parts. What does that have to do with the rest of us 6 billion people. I'm supposed to feel bad Carly Fiorina only made 48 million instead of 50?

You don't even have to be on hormones or have had surgery. Just wear a dress once a year, win the race, profit. What was the prize money, excuse me purse. If it's a million bucks I'd put on a dress for an hour.

She's just jumping on the bandwagon to promote her career. I find that pretty disgusting. Reminds me of those kids from Columbine who were trying to put out a song. "Uh, this shooting was horrible, here's my demo tape."

There are a zillion women in tech. The news just focuses on start ups. High risk. Stock price changes or if they sell to someone. You wind up having paid to work there. I work for a stable company that pays well. Not as sexy as the unicorns. Plenty of women. I guess we don't mean shit. Women don't want the high risk. Can you blame them when they can do fine elsewhere?

I'm in IT and there are plenty of women in the field. The companies they're citing are places like Google and Facebook and all these other Silicon Valley unicorns. There's a risk with working for these places. They pay in options and if the stock valuation goes down you can easily wind up paying for working there. You see on the news they complain that there aren't too many women at these places but maybe women are just more risk averse. For every Google millionaire there's a hundred poor softwa…

That lawyer isn't going to include the work he did on your defense in a counter suit. That would be extra. I don't even know if you can use the same lawyer. The counter suit is probably a civil case and not the criminal case you'd need for your defense.

Yes. As we've seen before women in a relationship will have no problem telling they're SO they got raped over getting caught cheating. Happened to my buddy. Fortunately he had a lot of evidence and witnesses on his side. Still cost him a bundle in lawyer fees.

I don't really see this as an erosion of standards. I just see it as a way to sell more dolls at 20 bucks a pop. My daughter now needs a full set. I can sell one to every ethnicity. This is a logical economic decision not the fall of man.

So this seems to be the 'holy shit everything has gone horribly wrong option'. You're getting divorced. You just got busted in a Madoff size Ponzi scheme. You are being sued for a trillion dollars. Ideally if you have the means and can lose this kind of money you should have this set up well before you even smell a problem.

I just don't get the controversy. Most of what TRP says is that if you get in shape, be interesting, make money, dress well, and get a good hair cut women will tend to like you more. Is that so crazy idea? Red Pill is the most feminist philosophy there is. It's stating that women are just as shallow and superficial as men so stop pretending that they aren't and treat them equally.

Kind of shows how imperfect nature really is. You can have a trait that has no business being what makes an individual successful being the dominant determinant. Animals, and we are animals, can be over sensitive to sign stimuli and you wind up with a pheno type that is exaggerated past it's actual purpose.

Let's not take this too seriously people. As other posters are saying this is just product differentiation. Because they made up the numbers. You can google how they got to the 20%. Emily Yoffe did a pretty good write up. http://www.slate.com/articles/double_x/doublex/2014/12/college_rape_campus_sexual_assault_is_a_serious_problem_but_the_efforts.html It was like 2% in 1 semester in this study. And there are probably hundreds of people at Apple that had more to do with that vision than Jobs. I don't know about you guys but most of what I see managers and project managers do is make power point slides all week. They make retarded salaries doing it and the rest of us do the work.
/r/TheRedPill04/10/15 03:35 AM

I wouldn't have touched a MacBook before they went aluminum. They were crap. At some point in the last 10 years they concentrated on quality design and higher end materials. I give more credit to Ive than Jobs for that.
/r/TheRedPill04/10/15 03:32 AM

I agree. There are good people in the world. I know "nice guys" and girls who'd do anything for you. They do it for their friends and family so you know it's not just an act to get laid. Let's not say there aren't decent people in the world. I think that's the difference. If you're only nice to someone you're trying to bang you're not really nice. Hey you can also apply this at work. Look at how people treat subordinates or people they don't think will affect their career.

Two fucking years later she changes her mind? Only way after her friends started calling her a slut. Jesus Christ. This guy should get two million dollars. School needs to feel the pain. Take it out of activities and put a line item in every tuition bill "false rape claim settlement"
/r/TheRedPill31/07/15 01:10 AM

I don't know about that one. This is how a lot of false rape charges happen. There are women that would rather lie to the police then admit they cheated. Happened to my buddy. He was screwing around with a girl with a bf and the lied to the bf saying she was raped. The bf made her press charges. Too much evidence the claim was false but he still had to get a lawyer and go through that nightmare.

Classic projection. When I clicked on the article I expected to see the guy had said some nasty things on Twitter but hadn't even done that. He did just the opposite and told them you shouldn't harass people online. The women are guilty of the very thing they're going after this guy for. It's very Orwellian.

Kind of like an over stimulus thing? I was listening to Louis CK this afternoon and he said something similar about how people raise their kids. Sort of related. They had one of these porn documentaries on show time last night. They're really just an excuse to show naked porn stars. The funny part, in a tragic sense of funny, was this one girl who said it was wrong to assume that the industry causes porn stars to be addicted to drugs. She then goes on to describe how she got addicted to drugs from being in porn industry. I'm thinking, "Did you not listen to what you just said less than five seconds ago."

Emily Yoffe on slate Has been critical about the stat and had a pretty good break down on this. It was pretty sketchy math. They start out with 1.8%. Of course that gets rounded to 2. Double for 2 semesters even though you're not in school 12 months. The the kicker was multiplying by 5 because they claimed most people take more than 5 years for college now a days. That's how you get from 1.8 percent to 20. For reasons too numerous to state, doesn't seem like a very legit methodology to me. I thi…

I dunno. Building a city in the middle of nowhere and expecting it to do well just doesn't make sense. Cities are where they are for a reason, be it geographical location, or a resource to exploit. Vegas only worked because so many other places didn't have gambling forever.

"Totally sort of" is the best line in the article. Because she's seriously probably not going to get with this other guy. Unless she does. BF needs to cut his losses now. There were 18 girls with the same name and he just happened to hit it off with the cute one. Lol.

Specifically there has been criticism of the author for failing to interview or get or attempt to get a comment from any of the alleged perpetrators. The author was unable to even get a name. From what I've read about it it's a glaring omission in normal journalistic practice.

It's not just cheating on this guy and having him unknowingly pay for someone else's kid. She's also taking away his ability to reproduce. Maybe given the choice he wouldn't take the chance. Maybe he'd go find some other woman to roll the dice with him. Her decision takes that choice away. She seems to have no issue with passing on the lying whore gene.

Hey. Late to the game on this thread but how RP was Tyler Perry when he's talking about the affair girl? Ben is like, "She'll never say anything." I love The Daily Show but that was a pretty weak piece. You have to think they went out all day trolling for bad behavior and the worst they got was, "Your hair looks nice." I like when people notice I've done something to my appearance. If I just got a hair cut its nice for people to notice. I've had women tell me I smell nice when I'm wearing cologne. That's why I wore it. People need to get over themselves.

My thought on this. Is there a wage gap because women make different career choices and are less like to risk asking for a raise or job jump? Probably. There's lots of reasons in the world people make less money. I'm a bit short and not as attractive as some. Statistically, people who are taller and more attractive earn more. She also receives no penalty for drinking underage. Legally you can't charge her. There's no proof that would hold up in a criminal case as it's all her and friends testimony, but the school could have expelled her for drinking underage. Just like With John's transgression, they do not have the same standard to adhere to as a court of law. She's testified she has drunk underage and broke the law. They could punish her or expel her on that but they do not.

Then if anyone says anything against him he can just call them a homophobe. He's like 80 anyway. As I have previously stated the perpetrator is at fault. I live near NY. There are areas where people have recently been stabbed. There was a stabbing where I park my car to get the train. It would not be a wise decision for me to get drunk and pass out at that lot. It would not be my fault for being stabbed, however if I am interested in my own safely I would avoid drinking myself to unconsciousness at that location. You would criticize me for warning people to be careful and alert in that area…

There's now a response to her response. http://www.salon.com/2013/10/18/emily_yoffes_views_on_rape_are_misunderstood_says_emily_yoffe/ Like I said, if you're raped IT'S NOT THE VICTIM'S FAULT. Been following this article. It's pretty wacky how suggesting that people shouldn't get black out drunk is controversial. If I drink my self unconscious and get robbed it's still the robber's fault. In a perfect world that wouldn't happen. I could pass out drunk anywhere and still have my wallet but it makes sense for me to be aware of where I am.

I always find it funny in the female magazine sites how they encourage women to meet men at work. It's like, "Go for it, ladies. It makes work exciting and you know he has a job."
