Thanks for nothing. Your post is worth exactly what I paid for it. Nothing. GFYS

You can keep telling yourself that. Just trying to help someone out who is down and out. You can play cool guy on the internet though.

Nah. I want easy and comfortable. Camping and car shows. I don’t need or want anyone young enough to be my daughter. Just not for me. YMMV.

Yep. I will never marry again. I wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then.

Yep. Done and done. She asked for nothing other than I pay off her debt. Wrote two checks and it was finished. All real estate and investments were protected in a trust.

Except that she has a career and a good income. The ex never had a job but bled me dry.

Not a chance. I have moved on. She wanted to be independent so I obliged. F-it. Having the time of my life without being tied down.

Yep. My divorce was finalized two weeks ago. Headed out soon with a really cool lady tonight. Just move on and live your life.

Happened to me. After 25+ years she just up and left. We had grown apart but were working on it. I never missed a beat. Back with a girl I dated before her. Life is wonderful. And the new lady seems to have an allergic reaction to clothes which is a plus.

Similar heartbreak. 26 and she just left. Never fought, no financial issues. Just left and never said why. No cheating though. Just left. Anyway, I spent a lot of time doubting my self worth. Then I met a lady who is my soulmate. We are a perfect fit and have a lot of fun maybe too much. She is very fun. It’s far better the second time around. Far better. Just hang in there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
