What’s a 9/10 to you? Asking out of curiosity, cause I don’t really see anything wrong with them facially.

The last one is Hispanic same with number 6. Number 4 is south Asian. Only three (1, 3,5) are white.

Gay men put more effort into their appearance there is no question about that. I find heterosexual men compared to gay ones tend to a have shorter shelf life. There are plenty of attractive gay men in their 50s whereas with heterosexual men many of them are cute in their early twenties but seem to fall off pretty quickly from there.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 01:32 PM

Bisexual guy here. I think it really depends on what group you are talking about. Among heterosexuals, I typically see far more attractive women then men. Gay men tend to be a lot more attractive then heterosexual men(your average gay bar will have more chads per square mile then your run of mill frat party) so when I include them in equation then it evens out, with perhaps men being slightly more attractive or women depending on the day.

Most sensible men would head your advice, it’s just certain redpill guys or tradcons won’t be happy unless they have sexual access to girls like this young slim western girls. N counts with prostitutes and third world women don’t count as legitimate in their eyes.

That’s still statistically untrue: Percent of all births to unmarried women: 39.6% https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/unmarried-childbearing.htm Notably, many nonmarital births occur to couples who live together in a cohabiting union but are not formally married. Recent estimates suggest that 62 percent of births to never-married women are to women in a cohabiting union (Lamidi, 2016). The majority of U.S. nonmarital births today are to cohabiting couples. https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Perce…

Correction of the millennials women who give birth 57% have children out of wedlock, the majority of women 18-30 don’t have children. People are waiting longer to have children that’s why women in 30s have a higher fertility rate then those in their 20s, this trend used to be reverse. You also have to keep in my mind a lot of couples cohabitat, just because the child was born out of wedlock doesn’t mean the parents aren’t together: However, unlike their peers growing up a couple of decades ago, …

Why do people here pretend that single mothers are so rampant and hard to avoid. Outside of trashy OLD sites and poor areas, single mothers are a statistical minority and should be easy to avoid.

Like I said, a larger sample size is needed to give the study more weight. I would caution people from using survey with sample size of 152, as representative of the entire 15 million young men between the ages 18-24 in the United States. Plenty of institution have the money to do a larger sample size, lets hope they do it, if they find the results as GSS maybe there is some truth to the study if they don't, then maybe things are different.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/20 06:53 PM
1

The increase wasn't observed only in 2018 . It was a trend that had been going on for a decade. The sample size isn't that small if you take that into Not really, 2016 had the same had the same ratio. I really don't see the big deal about doing the survey on a larger sample size, it would give the study more statistical significance and the GSS has been criticized for using small sample sizes before. I am not completely dismissing the significance of the survey completely but you have to underst…

So you think men are better looking on average then women? Thats the only way your scenario makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/20 05:44 PM
1

The sample size was actually 152 thats still really too small in my opinion, with a small sample size you risk the chance of getting skewed sample, and a larger standard of error. As someone said why not just do the same study on a larger group of people? Even most voting surveys have a larger sample size then this.

You never seen an attractive women with a less attractive men? Thats hard to believe, attractive women outnumber attractive men, if guys are all dating women less attractive then them, then who are the attractive women dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/20 05:08 PM
1

Still, she is right 136 is too small of a sample size to draw any broad conclusions from, same study needs to be conducted on a larger group of people. The fact GSS excludes college students from their sample only brings into question its accuracy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/20 04:54 PM
6

A small sample size makes the standard of error larger. Small Sample Size Decreases Statistical Power The power of a study is its ability to detect an effect when there is one to be detected. This depends on the size of the effect because large effects are easier to notice and increase the power of the study. If your going to study social issues of this magnitude then a large sample size is needed, I have agree with them here.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/20 11:26 AM
1

She is talking about the same data as you, the 28% is weighted by the GSS, the raw percentage is 23%, 31/136.

I wouldn't generalize all asian women like that, but the whole submissive asian women is outdated and over blown, that includes that ones living in Asia, not just the westernized ones. South Korean women are generally very shallow, because they live in a deeply shallow culture, where looks are everything and grow up watching K dramas, makes them think they are entitled to have an attractive cute boyfriend to parade around like a pet. How does a society that discourages single motherhood end up having the highest rate of it in the world? You are totally right about the competitive and catty nature of female strippers. I’ve talked to many about their job and they always bring this up. There is some resentment from the native born strippers to the foreign ones because they are more likely to do dirtier things at a lower cost, which messes up the game for the other girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/20 10:29 AM

Most male strippers I know are straight. There are is only one male strip club in my area, and it’s located in a well known gay neighborhood. Most male strippers that service women tend be male revenue touring shows like you said, Chippendales, thunder down under etc.

The point is they still have easy access to sex - their obesity hasn't really impeded them in any way. Yes because like I said repeatedly men are more willing to lower their standards to get sex while women are not. Is that fair? Who knows but it’s biology, sex is more risky for women so they will naturally be more picky/selective. There it is - that's the reason why men are sexless and being forced to do without. Because they're the only gender that actually desires sex, while women simply use …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 06:47 PM
2

So what? Both genders became less attractive overall - hasn't really hurt women in any way. Yes it has, the rate of sexlessness has risen for women and more women seem to be unhappy with dating market or find it hard to get commitment they want. And why it is easier for women to get laid rather than men, pray tell? Let me introduce you to something called testosterone.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 06:35 PM
5

And? That suddenly doesn’t make obesity attractive. It’s unreasonable to expect people to find fat people attractive just because they are the majority. Excessive fat on the human body is unnatural. We already know it’s easier for women to get laid and men are more willing to lower their standards to have sex. That doesn’t make fat women attractive, even overweight women notice they get less attention from men when they are overweight. https://www.google.com/amp/s/metro.co.uk/2015/04/30/do-men-l…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 06:28 PM
3

Why should I shut up about it when obviously plays a role in why people are less attractive? Among the younger generation men have a higher obesity rate. We already know men are more likely to sacrifice their standards in order to nut and women are not. That doesn’t suddenly make fat people attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 06:20 PM
6

60% of men are overweight and obese, that’s probably why women find the majority of the male population unattractive. Male obesity deceases ones libido and sexual performance, that’s probably why sexlessness has grown a lot among young men. And like I said in another comment, I bet you the only reason men rate women better on average is because women are more savvy social media wise and know how to use tools like selfie angles or photoshop to enhance their look.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 05:37 PM
3

I don’t doubt that a shitty work life balance plays a role in why people are exhausted, and become complacent but I doubt it’s the only reason. A lot East Asian countries like Japan and South Korea have even crazier and intense work life’s, and yet have some of the lowest obesity rates in the world. Imao, I think a large reason why people feel like shit a lot nowadays is the food we are consuming is making us fat and sick.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 04:40 PM

If that’s only thing you can attract, you probably aren’t that attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 04:21 PM
5

Among the younger generation, men have a slightly higher obesity rate then women. Male obesity obviously hinders male attractiveness more then we like to acknowledge, I think someone here pointed out that it’s been shown to feminize men by increasing estrogen in their body and lowering their sex drive. I would bet you the only reason why men rate the average women more attractive on average is because women are simply better at taking selfies that enhance their looks. Fat women on dating sites a…

I've seen many women say that they aren't less visual, it's just that most men are so ugly to them and if their surrounding men was replaced by model tier men, they would instantly be more visual. Over 60% of men are obese and overweight do you think that may not play a role why some women don’t find a lot men attractive? I know I don’t find the average women attractive for the same reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 04:08 PM
5

So unless women lose weight first you have no incentive to stay healthy and groomed? I think people of both genders should get in better shape, which is why I aimed this post at both genders, I don’t know why you think I am only telling men they should get in shape when I’m clearly am not.

20 years ago porn was only something that dirty old men watched. Definitely not true lol. Now it’s hard to find a man who doesn’t watch it. To pretend that this has no effect on the sexual culture of the entire planet is stupid I think your assumption that porn caused them to have this fetish could be true but there really isn’t any evidence that it has. They are latest stats by cdc 🤷‍♂️, take it up with them if you don’t believe them.

They are not facts, latest stats by cdc show: Among men, the prevalence of obesity was 40.3% among those aged 20–39, 46.4% among those aged 40–59, and 42.2% among those aged 60 and over. Among women, the prevalence of obesity was 39.7% among those aged 20–39, 43.3% among those aged 40–59, and 43.3% among those aged 60 and over. None of the differences by age were significant. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db360.htm People are out of shape, fighting over who is worse is useless.

I think I have a theory why that is. Starting in the late 90s I started to sense there was possible a feminist backlash to hookup culture. I am not going to pretend it came out of nowhere, I saw and heard of a lot guys doing questionable shit to women. But the backlash that came resulted in young women being indoctrinated since they were young that all men were rapist and out to hurt them. That made more on guard and less open to be pursued sexually in public. That’s why you see less women going…

Not according to latest statistics by cdc: Among men, the prevalence of obesity was 40.3% among those aged 20–39, 46.4% among those aged 40–59, and 42.2% among those aged 60 and over. Seems pretty even to me.

I don’t know man. I see more women shopping at my local farmers market and aerobic classes. Maybe men and women just have different interest in the health sphere.

Maybe it’s just where I live but I’ve never noticed more fat women then men. Probably more men at the gym because women don’t need to have muscles to have an attractive body. I see a lot more women at dance classes and yoga classes for example.

If you're an average looking dude its a lot easier to hook up at a party when people are all drinking and just having fun, vs getting swiped left on tinder. This is what I am trying to tell people, but they seem to not get it.

Didn’t say there were more fat men, but I see an equal number. I would be curious to see that stats for 18-35 group, the stats you listed include older people.

I think you nailed it.

Is there a breakdown by age group? Because I see an equal number of fat young men and women.

I am not seeing this. I see a lot very fat men. This isn’t a gendered thing, people are less in shape.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/20 09:49 PM

Yeah that’s what a lot people don’t understand, what’s causing everyone to get fat is all that toxins in our food. Anybody who has ever lived abroad will tell you that the food is typically more filling and less sugary. I had a friend who couldn’t even eat bread he got from the store after coming back to the USA after ten years abroad. Said it tasted so sugary it made him sick. The FDA is too greedy to do anything about it.

True, but I see pretty even number of fat young men and women. Those that are fit in are in the minority.

I am guy buddy. I am pretty new to all this and I have a teen myself but I am unfamiliar with the sex lives of young adults. I am just talking about my observations. The rise in sexlessness is something that has been well reported in the media, I am exchanging my theories as to why that is.

The number of overweight/obese men and women is pretty even. According to cdc, 74.8% of men and 68.4% are overweight/obese. We were in better shape back then, that made the number of fuckable people larger.

This is something I have noticed in the past decade. The club scene is dying and people seem to be on on guard more.

It’s not, depending on your perspective.

Yep, this something a lot of people aren’t getting. Social life was more active back then.

I get you guys on the entitlement and dating apps, but really I think the reason why there is less sex is as simple as less people go out and the party scene today is very tame. We all weren’t getting laid back then because women were going out their way to have sex with nerds or average guys. We were all getting laid because everybody was drunk, high and happy. You need that atmosphere to get sexy time at its maximum.

The reason why millennials are failing at hookup culture, is there trying to do it sober. It can’t work like that. Hookup culture can only work if everybody is drunk, high and sober. Do you think we would have better luck hooking up without the alcohol and drugs? Fuck no. They were the only reason everybody was getting laid, it loses your inhibition and makes the women hornier:).

Yeah it seems like people go out not to have more fun anymore but to post on TikTok or Instagram that they went out.

Nah mate, you being white and western is what is why they are so much more pleasant. Believe me, I’ve lived abroad for years in the Philippines and Northern Brazil, and had similar experiences. The local women were sweet and pleasant to me, but to their fellow local men? Nightmares. Just ask an average Chinese man how the dating scene is. Hypergamy doesn’t just stop in non Western countries, what is considered a high SMV male differs. In western countries, only Chads, and rich guys are considere…

Not true - date shows that the number of sexual partners we have is increasing - whats decreasing is the amount of sex we have (with the same people). That’s not true. Americans in the "Greatest Generation," or those born between roughly 1901 and 1924, slept with an estimated average of three partners during adulthood, according to a study published Tuesday in the Archives of Sexual Behavior. Baby Boomers have picked up the pace, averaging about 11 partners. Generation X has nearly kept up with …

I am not talking about dating, but causal sex and hooking up.

The average woman is having more casual sex. Are they? You guys insist they are but it doesn’t seem that way based on the data.

I agree, but anyone espousing incel talking points back then would have been looked at as a weirdo or alien species.

The biggest problem I see is millennials are trying to do hookup culture while sober. It just can’t work like that. Hookup culture can only be possible if everyone is drunk, high and happy. There were some parties I went to in my single days where you would have to be socially handicapped not to get laid.

Yeah but the club scene was dying even before metoo. Young people in general don’t go out anymore, they rather stay home and hang out with each other then go out. This is something veterans of the club scene have been telling me for the last decade.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/20 01:08 PM

Possibly. But wasn’t as though there weren’t nerds who had trouble with the ladies back then. But honestly I think the reason casual sex was easier back then was because people went out more and alcohol/drugs were more rampant. The more high and drunk you get the lower your inhibition. Trust me when I say the club scene today is very tame compared to back then.
