Traditional values is old school Feminism. Being extremely socially conservative is just as gynocentric as a rabid Tumblr Feminist.

It happens occasionally, and let's me know that the person I'm dealing with is an irrational asshole.

You're trying to make another point entirely, so we're just talking past each other. There's no point in continuing this conversation.

Potentially everyone that visits this sub, the people that upvote or downvote posts to curate them.
/r/MensRights08/07/17 01:27 AM

Me trying to convince you, and other people that read this thread, to better curate the posts here. Simple as that.

What social change is this shitpost accomplishing?
/r/MensRights07/07/17 11:08 PM
1

I am aware. I don't want to fight symptoms of the problem, I want to go after the institutions that cause them. That's why the MRM focuses so much on legal protections and issues.
/r/MensRights07/07/17 06:33 PM

You're kidding yourself if you think the snowflakes on Tumblr actually hold any real social influence. They are a symptom of a problem that has roots in academia. Who taught these people what to believe?
/r/MensRights07/07/17 06:30 PM
31

Right, and this is one crazy bitch on the internet with no influence and no power. This is essentially a shitpost, that while hilarious, doesn't accomplish or advance anything. This is more tumblrinaction type material.
/r/MensRights07/07/17 04:30 PM

No doubt that this is stupid, but this low quality shit content for this sub, it doesn't belong here.

I don't want to censor people, no matter how offensive the comments. What I want is better curation of posts, because weird, unrelated posts seem to be making onto the subreddit.

Putting aside the fact that it is not medically necessary, and the harm that it causes to infant boys, it is a violation of human rights. No infant boy can consent to this mutilation, it is beyond his control. If a man wants to have this procedure done, more power to him. The fact of the matter is that infant boys are mutilated without their consent. You own your own body, you are not a slave, your body parts belong to you.
/r/MensRights03/07/17 09:12 AM

You should go to an environmentalist subreddit, this does not belong here.
/r/MensRights03/07/17 09:05 AM

How does this relate to Men's Rights? Or maybe you'll explain how men in drag are far more likely to be assaulted? This subreddit is not your dumping grounds for traditionalist bullshit.
/r/MensRights03/07/17 09:01 AM

Um no. Nudism is not abuse.
/r/MensRights03/07/17 08:59 AM

The rare cases it is necessary (as in my case due to a very rare intersex condition) do not matter. Only a barbarian would raise a knife to their infant son.
/r/MensRights03/07/17 08:55 AM
1

Tell that to all the men that are in pain merely from having an erection as a result of their mutilation. There is no justification for taking a knife to your infant son.
/r/MensRights03/07/17 08:54 AM
1

It once served a purpose, but is now entirely obsolete and only keeps men disposable in service of women.
/r/MensRights02/07/17 11:52 PM
2

Traditional gender roles are cancer. They are just as cancerous and gynocentric as Feminism.
/r/MensRights02/07/17 07:32 PM
5

Go fuck yourself. Men are not created to serve at the behest of women.
/r/MensRights02/07/17 02:26 PM
4

Number of subscribers doesn't prove shit. Do you think it's just leftist Feminists proventing the recognization of male victims of rape or domestic violence? Want to know how many boys are mutilated at birth because of right wing religious nuts? Feminism is not the problem, it is a symptom of the problem.
/r/MensRights16/06/17 06:38 AM
5

News flash. Humanity has always been gynocentric. The very things we fight for, men's rights, is antithetical to human evolutionary psychology. We have a high mountain to climb.
/r/MensRights16/06/17 06:34 AM
35

The lengths you barbarians will go to to justify the mutilation of infants...
/r/MensRights12/03/17 06:24 PM
13

Absolutely unscientific bullshit and drivel. Do you ever read any sources that contradict the crap you just posted? Because it's been debunked time and time again. You people are akin to young earth creationists at this point.
/r/MensRights04/03/17 03:22 PM
7

And things were just as bad, if not worse, for men. When everyone is oppressed and treated like shit, like all the peasants were back then, it's not suddenly just worse for women. You need to gain some perspective. If two identical bad things happen to a man and a woman, it's not worse for the woman because vagina.
/r/MensRights24/02/17 04:46 PM
6

It's an evolutionary reality. The sperm simply isn't as valuable as the egg; however, this should not inform our ethics as a species.
/r/MensRights24/02/17 03:21 PM
17

You should probably alert Jezebel then, and the rest of this gynocentric species, because that sentiment is not as common as you'd think.
/r/MensRights24/02/17 02:12 PM

It is not ethical to mutilate your child for no medical benefit. This is fact.
/r/MensRights08/02/17 03:54 AM

Tell that to the hundreds of thousands, if not millions of boys whose lives have been irreparably damaged by mutilation.

"Shutting down while ignoring evidence in favor of anecdotes." Lol whatever man
/r/MensRights08/02/17 12:11 AM
2

Wow. That much stupidity and lack of empathy isn't worth responding to. If you don't think that boys deserve the basic human right of bodily integrity, then what the fuck are you doing in this sub?
/r/MensRights07/02/17 07:11 PM
2

No it doesn't. This has been disproven time and time again; much like evolution the facts are widely available. Your faith and/or preferences do not justify mutilating children. Think about it, what fucking logical sense does it make that hacking off part of your child will prevent disease. Reality is to the contrary, being intact often prevents disease http://www.cirp.org/library/disease/HIV/
/r/MensRights07/02/17 05:03 PM
2

A medical textbook, for starters. Then maybe a book on ethics. Even a cursory glance at the facts would let you know the harm that comes from mutilations your infant son.
/r/MensRights07/02/17 02:14 PM

Your personal preferences do not redefine ethics. There is no medical benefit to being mutilated at birth.

I doubt they would do that, they would then have to admit that it's possible for women to rape men at all, which feminists and most of society patently deny.
/r/MensRights04/02/17 11:15 PM
5

Men were not fine with traditional gender roles. War, genital mutilation, domestic violence against men, rape of men, persecution of gay men, and on and on and on. Are you fucking serious?

Do you really judge morality on how sexually appealing you are to women?
/r/MensRights30/12/16 09:07 PM
4

Because men are disposable, it's the evolutionary sin of our species. Boys are raised and groomed to become good Christians or Muslims, boys are raised and groomed to become good soldiers for their nation, boys are raised and groomed to work hard manual labor with little reward for the majority of their lives, and so on and so forth. The idea of raising one's son to adhere to the ideologies and opinions of the parents is as old as humanity itself.
/r/MensRights29/12/16 04:55 AM
3

False analogy and another false analogy. How about you you answer shadowguyver's questions? There is no scientific basis for the mutilation of infants. Are you honestly going to make the argument that cutting off little pieces of baby boys and girls is ethical? I thought doctors were supposed to first do no harm?
/r/MensRights28/12/16 09:58 AM
9

How about not initiating unnecessary force upon innocent individuals? There is no medical benefit to mutilating an infant boy or girl, it is inherently unethical.
/r/MensRights28/12/16 05:57 AM

Are you going to deny basic ethics and scientific evidence?
/r/MensRights28/12/16 03:21 AM

/r/MensRights22/11/16 06:54 PM

Maybe instead of looking at the source, look at the data and evidence that the source provides, if you want to find any sort of trend or make a convincing argument.
/r/MensRights02/11/16 06:45 AM
2

Not really, I hate the guy, but their philosophy is much more focused on pick-up artistry or old school traditionalism/gynocentrism.
/r/MensRights02/11/16 06:43 AM
7

So you are advocating for the mutilation of little boys?
/r/MensRights25/10/16 03:42 AM
9

That's not logical. Your personal anecdote does not an argument make. Do you have an argument advocating for MGM other than. "Hurt durr it doesn't bother me."
/r/MensRights24/10/16 06:32 PM
14

So you're just stupid then. Please explain how stopping the non-consenual mutilation of infants is "whining." Not to mention friend, you have no idea the status of my genitals, whether I'm male or female, because it doesn't matter. How's about you actually put forth a logical argument instead of your emotional cultural norm bullshit?
/r/MensRights24/10/16 06:10 PM
15

That's right, just man up and accept your mutilation as just and moral even though you didn't consent to it! /s Seriously, what the fuck are you doing here? Go troll someplace else, you aren't offering anything substantial to the discussion. Your personal beauty standards matter fuck all compared to the medical data and ethics.

Low tier bait, try harder m8.
/r/MensRights24/10/16 05:43 PM

I understand the anger behind the sentiment, but the idea behind the world "cuckhold" is extremely anti-male. Doctorrandomercam said it best when he said that to judge a man by how well he can keep a woman by his side is antithetic to the men's rights movement overall.

Ah I see, you're taking the term and its action, in this sense, to its literal meaning despite its extremely negative connotation?

"Terrorizing." You fucking what mate?
/r/MensRights15/09/16 07:07 AM

No. They have to ask for your forgiveness. If they don't ask for your forgiveness, then they don't deserve it. They had someone cut into your body without your consent, how can anybody reconcile that?
/r/MensRights09/09/16 04:04 AM
3

Interesting article. The only issue I take with it is in regards to the "why" a certain subset of men engage in eating disorders/self abuse. I don't think that the author (or the public in general) realizes the lengths to which men go to attract a mate; and while this is exemplified in heterogeneous relationships, it is common place in homosexual male relationships as well, vanity is the rule of thumb. This poor man that was the subject of the article, in all likelihood, was caught in a cycle of…
/r/MensRights03/09/16 07:31 AM

What? You do realize that disorders of sexual development can constitute a serious medical condition that requires immediate attention.
/r/MensRights28/08/16 12:28 PM

Not exactly. Unfortunately it is medically necessary in the rare cases of DSD, especially when the foreskin or eurethra is not properly formed. But as I said, those are rare cases
/r/MensRights28/08/16 02:59 AM

I'm subscribed to both, but I do like the uncensored news subreddit just because the mods don't ban things they don't agree with.
/r/MensRights22/08/16 04:21 PM
2

I think the point is to have an eye catching/controversial title like that to grab the attention of readers and hopefully have them peruse the article and get them interested in an issue men face. It may not be the best decision, but I can understand why the author did it.
/r/MensRights21/08/16 02:09 PM

Not really surprising coming from Quora, it's heavily biased towards gynocentrism and feminism.
/r/MensRights21/08/16 02:03 PM

What was most disheartening, was hearing a large portion of gay men defend the Milo ban from twitter. It's very hard to be secure in one's sexuality when the majority of the LGBT community despise you for defending the rights of men...

I'm sorry for replying in such a heated fashion. I'm just so sick of seeing men kill themselves. It makes me want to vomit; good men lost to this bullshit gynocentric imperative. I wish you well friend.
/r/MensRights15/07/16 07:02 AM

I agree. Unfortunately for us, we just lost one of our own. OP killed himself, from the looks of it. No amount of self improvement could have saved him. He was already red pilled. Fucking hell. What use is self improvement at a time like this? Another corpse added to a grave of hundreds of thousands, if not millions... Sorry, just venting honestly

Men in general, but especially gay men, have been falsely accused of pedophilia. The rights of gay men is an MRA issue. Maybe you should look up the difference in violence that gay men face compared to gay women for their sexuality.
/r/MensRights13/06/16 12:23 AM

You need to leave. You are not safe there. She is gaslighting you and physically abusing you, whilst calling you the abusive one to justify her crimes. My ex did the same thing to me and leaving her was one of the best decisions of my life. From one man to another, save yourself.
/r/MensRights12/03/16 06:46 PM

That's why I'm confused. What do you think needs to be started that already hasn't? A lot of Men's Rights groups get shut down from the get go, and the causes that are still out there need man power. You could just as easily join one of them or start your own. We need people digging in everywhere.
/r/MensRights10/03/16 04:59 PM

Why do you think it's not being used? The kind of change in public and legal thought we're proposing will not happen overnight.
/r/MensRights10/03/16 04:24 PM

Outlets like HBR and AVfM are good for doing just that. As I look at it, Reddit is just a hub for communication and coordination, a chance to bring more people to the cause. Of course Reddit isn't a good platform for launching massive change, but that's not the purpose of this subreddit. Education is key, and the growth of this subreddit is a good example of how we've been able to educate people on the issues men face.
/r/MensRights10/03/16 04:14 PM
1

While that's disheartening to say the least, it's still a blessing to know what we're up against. That only shows we need to fight harder, besides, government agencies are not exactly known for their good track record, this will eventually blow up in their face. When you're surrounded on all sides it enables you to fire in all directions and never miss.
/r/MensRights10/03/16 04:12 PM

It is likely that we will never "stand out" like the feminist movement. I don't say this pessimistically, but rather as an observation. Their tactics from day one have been full of manipulation of statistics and emotions, something we would never want to stoop to. Having famous faces put a voice to men's issues would certainly be a wise move, however. The best we can do, is what we have done. Staying the course of rational discourse in the face of all odds.

I'm confused. I have only ever heard laissez-faire defined as 100% free market. I'd like to know where you've heard another definition? Also, monopolies aren't always a bad thing. Okay, now I know that you're talking shit. The banking crisis had absolutely nothing to do with the "free market." Spread your propaganda elsewhere. The other commenter was correct, you're just spouting shit. With the amount of crony capitalism and intervention on the part of the government in the US economy we haven't had a free market environment in quite some time.

That's what I'm talking about. You keep throwing about these political labels in an effort to steer or control the narrative/conversation without actually defining them.

You're other comment was even posted when I replied to you, nevertheless your OP is still off topic. I'm extremely confused as to what political compass you seem to be operating on.

Unfortunately several forces, Feminism among them, have done their best to erode away the idea of the nuclear family or a healthy family life in general. The idea of responsible parenting in Western Society just isn't as common place as it once was.

You need to learn the difference between neo-con and libertarian thought. While most libertarians would advocate for the free movement of peoples across borders, no libertarian worth their weight in salt would advocate that while the welfare state is still in place, it's plainly contradictory. Also yes, this is off topic because in your post you specifically did not relate this issue to Men's Rights.
/r/MensRights28/02/16 07:37 PM

To be frank, you may get that wish if Western society continues its downward spiral. You can only demonize working class men for so long until the Atlas will shrug, so to speak.

Well said, sir.
/r/MensRights26/02/16 06:52 PM

Yes I realize that, but I believe in the Victorian era or shortly thereafter it became culturally associated with the idea of putting women on a pedestal.
/r/MensRights26/02/16 06:52 PM

That's the idea of the joke lol.
/r/MensRights26/02/16 06:52 PM

I mean if you swing that way then sure, although in Thailand that may mean something else entirely...
/r/MensRights26/02/16 04:21 AM

In all honesty that's probably a good thing that it's dead. This archaic victorian ideal of putting woman on a pedestal is disgusting.

Well yes, but also anti-masturbation devices were used on prepubescent boys well into the 20th century. Either just chastity belts or devices that actually had spikes poking into the penis. EDIT: Not sure why I'm being downvoted, but source

Statistically yes.
/r/MensRights25/02/16 05:06 PM

It's more than just gay men too, single fathers face a large swath of stigma themselves. There seems to be this idea that masculinity is extremely dangerous and unhealthy for the world at large, particularly for children.
/r/MensRights25/02/16 01:47 PM

Well young boys should always be in control of their sexuality right? That's why young boys should be protected by being made to wear anti-masturbation devices. /s

Could anybody point me in the direction or give me a rundown of the Ghomeshi trial? I know next to nothing about it.
/r/MensRights20/02/16 04:27 AM

Mhm, absolutely. "One good man syndrome" is extremely destructive and has had a bloody hand in many a crime, lynching in the American South, to name one.
/r/MensRights18/02/16 05:07 PM

That an extreme sense of self loathing/low self-esteem. I honestly wonder how many white knights grew up with terribly overbearing mothers.

Oh gotcha lol

Why Wisconsin, out of curiosity? I've never heard that stereotype before

Oh and by the way, deleting your posts is the epitome of cowardice. Stand by your fucking words or don't stand up at all.

Right, so you think that having a human rights movement advocating for the rights of men is not the way to get rights for men. Do you not see how logically retarded that is?
/r/MensRights16/02/16 04:49 PM
2

Some perspectives are factually incorrect and objectively unethical, or in other words, evil.
/r/MensRights16/02/16 12:32 PM

Do you or do you not believe that men deserve human rights?
/r/MensRights16/02/16 03:41 AM

You don't think men deserve human rights? Classy af.

Shitposting is a feminist term. Are you really this new to the internet?
/r/MensRights15/02/16 11:33 PM

Fuck off back to Alex Jones, faggot.
/r/MensRights15/02/16 07:30 PM

It's not that these topics aren't interesting or popular, it's merely that in general more important and pressing issues are discussed: circumcision, domestic violence, etc.

"Capitalism believes in collectivism.." Into the trash it goes.

Something something horseshoes are tools of the patriarchy, or something.
/r/MensRights13/02/16 10:54 PM

Extremely authoritarian to say the least.

Unfortunately, there is a certain ideology that is famous for the unethical manipulation of data and figures...

This literally makes my stomach churn... I can't even imagine what that young man is going through. He should honestly cut off all contact with his supposed "family."
/r/MensRights12/02/16 05:29 PM
2

No
/r/MensRights11/02/16 05:20 PM
2

No sir, you are absolutely incorrect. The studies cited in that article you posted have been refuted several times, they are flawed, not that the religiously minded environmentalists care. http://dwb.unl.edu/Teacher/NSF/C06/C06Links/www.altgreen.com.au/Chemicals/ddt.html Even IF the toxicity of DDT was proven, which it has not been whatsoever, that still does not justify the banning of DDT in developing nations where the death toll from malaria is in the hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions…
/r/MensRights10/02/16 03:11 PM

And people still advocate the banning of DDT despite no scientific evidence of adverse effects.
/r/MensRights10/02/16 05:03 AM

So what we really need are stricter perjury laws?
/r/MensRights09/02/16 06:10 PM

Probably not, every church has its reformation at some point...

The bathroom itself is a private area from the rest of the world, not a private area in and of itself for everyone in the open bathroom area, the private area there would be the stalls.
/r/MensRights08/02/16 05:05 PM
3

Your "question" was a loaded question with a very much implied assumption, so go fuck yourself. You still have yet to show how a transgender individual using another bathroom violates anybody else's privacy.
/r/MensRights08/02/16 05:03 PM
5

Nice strawman, I did not once imply that. But you know, generally speaking, everybody has their own private stall in a bathroom so I don't know what you're going on about.
/r/MensRights08/02/16 04:46 PM
3

I fail to see how using a different bathroom infringes on anyone's right, the authoritarian one here is evidently you.
/r/MensRights08/02/16 03:53 PM
4

In what way is that a right? Seems to me that it's actually more of a social convention than it is a right.
/r/MensRights08/02/16 03:52 PM
1

Oh I completely agree. Being transgendered, intersex, or other similar conditions gained by happenstance of birth is a difficulty no sane person would choose willingly.
/r/MensRights08/02/16 03:33 PM
6

Because people should be free to live their lives as they see fit as long as they aren't infringing on the rights of others, and shouldn't be subject to unethical or arbitrary authoritarianism?
/r/MensRights08/02/16 02:49 PM
5

Forgive me if I am mistaken, but I thought diagnoses of gender dysphoria/transgender in children (age 12 and below) were accompanied by both a psychological workup as well as an MRI to look for the traditional neurological markers to try and weed out other conditions or adults pushing an agenda?
/r/MensRights08/02/16 02:46 PM
3

That's my point. Why vote for a man who would compromise his own virtue to get voters?
/r/MensRights06/02/16 06:19 PM
2

He has a point, it honestly probably won't be long before Bernie follows in Obama's footsteps and trots out the wage gap or 1/5 myth.
/r/MensRights06/02/16 05:58 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
