You do realize people asked for a continuation of this story, right? Get context first or get out. Also, stop pretending like you know people better than they do themselves. Makes you look like an arrogant fucktard who needs to prove something. I'm done responding to this. Feel free to further thrive in your baseless analysis.

Way to say offensive and nonsensical shit and stamp it off as 'constructive criticism'. There are no morals here, there's being reasonable and there's being horny-naive. You're the latter.

Thought you might want to know that over-analyzing paid off. Read my reply to Audentes' comment if you're interested.

First off, thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts on this, I appreciate it. I thought you might want to know the actual ending to this, as it just happened today. First I must admit, I didn't block her there. I added "You may stop playing games with me now.", and THEN blocked her. Call it ego - today, she sent me an SMS saying "was just kidding". Me: "About what?" Her: \copies entire chat about fucking** Me: "Just wanted a regular date, don't know why you had to take this route. Anyways, I…

There is no 'league' because there is no 'better' or 'worse'. There is attractiveness and there is unattractiveness. If a woman feels offended by someone being interested in her, by all means, she is a cunt. She can feel disgusted, sure. But no person alive can convince someone on a rational level that, as an implication, it ought to be the same as 'stepping out of line' to show romantic interest. THAT would be a disgusting standard at its finest. This isn't the 17th century with a class society…

No no don't worry, I gotcha. And thanks a lot. I just wouldn't want someone new to this thinking everyone here is a horny preteen fucktard because of some of the responses I received. Would be shitty if you got turned off from this whole sub by something like this, so I wanted to 'justify' it a bit. Enjoy your stay here m8 :)

I don't understand your problem. I declined, as you have read. Had I not, it wouldn't have been a big deal, because sex in itself is not a big deal. You make it sound like it is. If you would pass up 'effortless sex' with a girl because of some vague concept of self-respect that is not even defined, suit yourself. I personally would have had my issues going in like this for the same reason. But I wouldn't judge people based on this concept, because it's entirely subjective. This sub is about sed…

What do you perceive as stepping out of line, exactly? To man up and talk to a girl seems to be as hot as Aphrodite? Give me an example.

Going for women above your league seems really cocky and offensive and offending women isn't right. You don't need to offend women to be attractive. In fact, she will most likely just say 'fuck off' and leave, like any reasonable person would. But you cannot appear attractive as a male if you approach a women with the intent she is worth more than you. That's the nice guy problem. If you worry about girls being above your league, you are saying "I will embarass myself, she's just too beautiful",…

So I really am the only person I know who has never been on a date and never kissed anyone Does it matter? Your situation won't change if you do nothing. No one is coming. You can back down from any social interactions with girls or you can bear the embarrassment that comes with learning like a man. Start with reading books on how to flirt. Start somewhere. Build momentum. You are in control of your life and you have the responsibility.

What, the mindset to learn and improve my game? There is nothing to 'lose' except for one evening and a few messages. And I'm willing to sacrifice being viewed as the 'beta clown' by some randomass girl I don't even know if I can learn something valuable from it. That being said, I don't know until this evening.

I did. The reasoning is valid. It's like a routine. Girls don't need some pimp-daddy paying for her first date. You be like that, you're just like all the other guys.

Great reply, great mindset. Date will be soon, let's see if the stuff that happens will be enough to warrant an entirely new post LOL

Well, that ought to change. Go out there and start flirting. And by the way, the only reason you don't know anyone else in your situation is because these people usually don't socialize or talk about it. I've been a nerd years ago and I still have friends from that time, and I assure you, there are PLENTY of people in the same situation. If you want to be more desirable, there are ways. But YOU have to put in the effort and make the choice that you want to change.

Do me a favor and really try to objectively read this again: "So surely if I try to do those things there is a very very high risk that they might be offended by me doing so. " You are demeaning your self-worth below the girl you want to approach, or heck, any girl at all. This is a serious self-esteem issue. If a girl is genuinely offended by you consciously showing your interest and for the reasons you believe, then I'm sorry buddy, that girl is a hoe and not worth dating anyway. That's a real…

Damn buddy, there's a lot of factors you need to make yourself more aware of. Some basic thing you might want to know (I only started dating AFTER I realized the following): Girls are more susceptible to act according to social standards. And sadly, society compells girls to be careful of rejection more than guys. To counter this, it is strictly speaking not the girl's job to show interest first, but the guy's. Stuff like where the girl is straight coming on to a guy being like "Hey, how's it …

Short answer: No. The reasoning goes as follows: generally, both parties should invest equally on their first dates, it's both curteous and a sign of mutual interest. If she is too dense to see that (i.e. if she's shocked or annoyed), then she will most likely be too dense for anything more than a one night stand, at best. I've had one awesome date where the girl asked me out of curiosity after dinner why I decided to split. I gave her the reason you see above. It works because it's a qualifier.

That's what makes it suspicious to me, because it's what a dude what do (catfish-worry). Also because she has "No ONS" on her profile. Now she's asking if I didn't wanna fuck her, literally. I explained to her in a cocky way that she can't expect reasonable guys to instantly wanna fuck girls they don't know. At least I wouldn't, lol.

Well, luckily for me, I have a policy to never pay for the girl on the first date. So that shit like that ain't happenin.

You guys are so optimistic it warms my cynical heart. Funny to be on the receiving end of a "wanna fuck" message, cuz AS A GUY I am literally worrying about the shit girls would usually spout. Like, what if she kidnaps me? I dont even know this girl! Jokes aside, even if she's serious, I'm not gonna fuck her tonight. It's just too weird man.

Will do. I'm just looking out for the clichés, especially if it's with shit like Tinder. Will keep ye updated.

The message just happened my man. I'm just ruminating if she's some crazy or antisocial horny gal a catfish shit testing me Imma respond with a laugh-emoji and just be like "See you on the date". Either way I'm not gonna decide to fuck someone I don't even know

Damn, would love to believe that. Here's an update tho: She straight up asked me if we wanted to fuck afterwards. Sure, this is Tinder and all, but that's absurd. I'm getting the feeling this is a shit test. Or not. Idfk

The fuck u talking about, boi? Don't even know what you mean by bro science. Though you might have understood the "I've cut myself on my 0.001mm nail edges" part. I meant accidentally, duh. Anyways, assuming me "not being able to seduce women" because I look for solutions to my nail biting habit is just plain stupid. U fucked up, man.

Honestly, having uneven nails with bitten edges would prolly be more painful than longer, smoother nails. I've cut myself on my 0.001mm nail edges. Several times.

The nail polish thing didn't faze me at all, interestingly. I recognized the bad taste but kept doing it til the nail's off. Yea kinda fucked up. I'll try the nail clippers thing, although I have my doubts; it's not that I have the need to keep my nails short, but rather the 'action' of biting them is what helps me think. Maybe it's a chewing thing. Makes sense; I've also tried chewing gum as a counter measure which worked like a miracle. Sadly, I can't go on chewing gum all the time when I'm wo…

Just had a date with her. I must say, for myself, I appreciate every date with a girl. I see them all as learning experiences, even (or especially) shitty ones. My date with this girl wasn't necessarily good or bad though; it just genuinely felt like it went nowhere. I was hoping to get to know her a little better and try to get through her introverted shell with my extroverted energy. As in: I was hoping her to be more open, more energized. In a way I tried to be the buddy I wish I had back whe…

After another unsuccessful day with this girl, I tend to agree for the most part, although I wouldn't go to the extremes of calling her "mega toxic" or me being "in her trap". What's true though without a doubt is that she apparently has zero interest to socialize and meet new people, it seems. Especially after our conversation at the party I assumed she was introverted but actually wanted to - or know how to - talk to people, but alas, she's not reflecting any interest back after the party what…

Yea, tried suggesting that to her in a voicemail yesterday: "Yo how bout this then: I gotta go meet with some work bros in a few days anyways, so I say, like, 40 minutes before that, we drop by Alex [local café] to just kick back with some refreshments cuz I would prolly eat lunch there anyways. What d'ya say?" No response so far. Either she literally has no social competence whatsoever and doesn't know what to say (as in, she's never been asked out) or she just blatantly isn't interested. Eithe…
