There are lot's of people with asthma who have to think about breathing quite often. CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE, normal breathers! Other people need respirators to breath and think about breathing ALL the time. CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE, asthma sufferers! Still others will occasionally choke on large chunks of food and cannot breath at all. CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE, respirator users!

Or just avoid walking alone at night... Even I don't feel comfortable walking in some places at night, so I simply choose not to walk there.

This is one of the reasons I'm involved in the martial arts. When violence is incorporated into your daily routine in a (relatively) safe and controlled manner, you're way less likely to go "looking" for violence in the real world.
