Starting out you need to know what your end game is: is it to fuck a lot of chicks? Is it to be friends with a plethora of women? Is it just to win over that one girl at work? Is it to be better because that one girl rejected you? There is so much information out there that can help but until you know what your roadmap is, you will be helplessly wandering. Find your goal and relentlessly pursue it. Especially when you fail.

This book is excellent when you are past Models. The book takes your ego and tries to shatter it. The author pairs western, modern psychological themes with ancient, eastern Buddhism philosophies. If it interests you, give it a shot!

What's your goal with these girls? What is the end game? Do you want to just be friends or do you want more? Be honest upfront with what you want. I've been upfront with girls I should've been friends with and now I'm no longer friends with those girls. I've also gone the route of being friends first and it killed the initial chemistry. Maybe I was wrong. Or maybe I was right. But I learned how to navigate future relationships better because I tried and failed. Learn what works best with your st…

Ok great! I've been a long time lurker, sometimes poster and felt very vulnerable about this situation. Thanks for the reply!

I thought so but this is the first time that I have not prioritized a girl ahead of my own interests. I guess I'm hitting the 'next level' of seduction and am new to it. Thanks for the response!

Why do you think that every approach could affect you negatively? Have you gone out of your comfort zone on your own before? In other words: have you done something that you wanted to do without caring what anyone else thought or doing it alone without any support from your friends?

But (not trying to start any argument here) shouldn't the point of cold approaches be creating a connection? If a connection is created, no tricks, routines, or any jargon can create the connection. If it isn't, then your SOL and it's best to move on. Develop an abundance mentality (I can't belive I'm saying that lol). They are cold to you after a couple questions? "Gotta go!". You have self worth! If they don't want to know about you then why stay talking to them??

These 99% of girls that never ask you any questions, do you know them well enough for them to ask you questions or do you barely know them? Side note, why are you using routines to talk to them? Wouldn't you want to know who they are and what they are about without gimmicks, games, and icebreakers?

I'm sorry, I skipped a few steps! Introduce yourself, build some rapport, and then explicitly state interest. If she's interested, set up a better time to have a more in-depth conversation. If she says no, "have a good day ma'am". I want to set the expectation I'm not a 10 by any stretch but I have (I hope) high self-esteem. So if I approach a girl that I'm interested in, I'm not worried about what she says. I'm only focused on me in the moment and talking to her and maybe getting more out of th…

100% agree! Daygame is so much harder but so much more rewarding. You approach without the aid of anything aside from curiosity. Approach and be ready to continue your day no matter how well or badly the interaction goes.

How would you feel if a dude walked up to you in the gym and started a conversation with you when all you want to do is work out. Express why you approached and if you get a number, great! Tell her you'll text her the details of the date and leave on a positive note. Why linger on their personal day? You already got some form of a yes, set up an event for both of you to freely enjoy each other's company when both parties are free.

Do nothing and wait for her to initiate contact? I understand she's sick but the ball is still in your court to make a move. If you want to, you'll ask her to hang out and schedule around it. If you ask her and she flakes again? You know your answer. Why are you worried about the coming off desperate? Imo you are more worried about her opinion (and /r/askmen) instead of trusting your gut and asking again in a few weeks. She's another human being who has other shit she has to deal with on a regul…

Love the goal! Great start into the wonderful world of seduction. But first, start with small steps. What do you mean by approach 1 girl? Ask for the time? Directions? Favorite color? Dare I ask...their number? Keep it breezy, you're awesome for starting this goal! Take it one day at a time. You approach a girl and it blows? You're ego is bruised? Everyone is staring at you because you look like a buffoon? Well fuck 'em. You tried. You got out of your comfort zone and you made a move that ~85% o…

No really helpful for the current text but with what u/olddgraygg said you should use gifs as much as possible. I remember seeing a post on r/tinder about how this one guy could wow a girl with his gif game. He would answer with gifs instead of the actual text answer. And surprise surprise: it worked. Use gifs!

I hear you on the party scene. It's much easier to have a conversation when you know someone and she knows someone. I'm curious, did you set a goal for certain approaches to make during a normal day or did you just switch your entire focus? Why I ask: I'm good in my social circles but I've been burnt too many times by dating within social circles. I want to expand my own social circle and that would entail going out on the town, so to speak.

Nah dude! Don't spin it that way! You saw signals that led one way and now you are lost. Imagine a GPS that didn't give exact directions. It would be infuriating. I hear you when it comes to that feeling with that girl but if she doesn't impress you...why try? If she does, then try. Two ways this goes: a) she rejects you (oh well) b) she goes on a date (she may or may not impress you) but either way you can get an absolute answer.

Thanks for the reply! Have you done cold approaches where you woke up on a weekend and went somewhere for the sole focus of talking to attractive girls? That's a potential goal in my year-end goal sheet but I'm curious if it's effective.

What has she done to impress you? What makes her more special than the other girls you know/follow on IG?

Yes...and also yes. You know what you want out of this whole shindig. They accept to frolic in the pleasure pansies? Great! Set expectations before! Tell them what you want before it gets hot n heavy. If they don't want that then you know. If not, keep plowing ahead. FWB is all about setting expectations before the actual act begins. You wouldn't sign a record deal as the best rapper in the world before knowing your take in the commitment.

It's not going to not be awkward. Seriously! Accept that fact and incorporate it somehow into the conversation "Hey I know this out of the blue" or "Hey this is crazy but" or "I think I"m feeling something for you more than study buddies" It will be awkward. But if it works, point to you. If it doesn't you learned. Only way to learn is to put yourself out there and try.

Why is that a bad thing? Do people outright say they're uncomfortable around you? Do you have less outings with friends and coworkers because of this affliction?

Mark Manson talks about this in Models: demographics. Within each little demographic group is a girl that wants you and a girl that detests you. Be the person you want to be and then the girl who wants you will be soo much better for you because you are actively pursing yourself in that demographic!

Being raised religious made me think these thoughts were bad. In actuality they're necessary for a fun, hot relationship.

Completely agree! Attraction isn't logically based so you shouldn't logically think of the perfect approach. That attraction may be destroyed or bolstered based upon the interaction! The magic you talk about is like a energy in the air.

Holy shit you nailed it! My old thought process wasn't fear of rejection; it was fear of being wrong about who I thought they were. Now I understand why it's best to just approach a girl straightaway instead of thinking about it. The longer you wait the longer you build up the idea of them in your head. Attraction should peak your curiosity to find out more about them.

The best part is that most people in generally would respond positively if you found them interesting! Why not disclose that info if it's genuine and real?? Major eureka moment for me today

For sure! Mark Manson goes into the inner game portion but I feel like this is how to work on outer game. It's not about clever pickup lines or saying the right thing; it's about showing interest. Imo there's no wrong way to show interest as long as it's respectful and fun.

So you're wondering how to push the boundaries if she is giving soft nos? It is all context but it has to do with 'fuck yes' or 'fuck no'. Or even apply the Brad Pitt rule .Whatever it is, you have to have an abundance mentality. If you get some type of negative reaction just let it be. Do whatever fun thing brought you out of the house in the first place. One first impression does more than ten more 'second' impressions. Sure, you can 'get' a girl attracted to you but that seems like a lot of w…

I have a quick hypothetical just to stifle my curiosity since I don't consider myself an old school gamer: Let's look at two phones from two different companies, Phone A and Phone B. Both are priced the same so there's no logical incentive for you to pick one over the other. At least not yet. Now, let's say you and a buddy do the same level of research on these phones. You both look at phone shape, camera capabilities, audio, etc. Those are subjective right? His opinion will be different than yo…

Long time lurker but just now getting the confidence to post in this subreddit. I think there are two camps in this subreddit. There's the eager, inexperienced, awkward guys looking for the cure all to pussy. And there's the experienced, tried-it-all, veteran players who have been through the rough. What is tough is catering to both these groups. The veterans have experienced a lot of rejection, woes, insecurity, and anxiety. They learned what works and what doesn't. To them, it's natural. They …

Preach! It's not what you say. It's the reason why you said that opener. If you don't value yourself then the girls you try to pull aren't going to value you either. Invest in yourself and the dividends will follow easily than they have before.

It's all about the intention! Not the words you said! Mark Manson explains this well when he was a flounder surrounded by his buddy who pulled. In the days Manson couldn't understand women, he would watch his buddy go up to girls at the club. His buddy would walk up and say something ridiculous. But instead of being turned off by the crazy shit his buddy would say, the girls loved it! Why? Because his intentions weren't to say the perfect thing the perfect way. He was aware about the dumb shit h…
