Oh are you referring to others' interpretations of the age gap as opposed to the intentions of OP himself?

your last point isn't relevant to the post. His age baseline starts with women that are 21+, it isn't pedophilic like your point implies.

Yeah, I totally get that, cool that you're studying though. I completely see where you're coming from, any model you find for picking up women is going to be complicated because there's so many niche situations that they try to account for, but you only really need some base principles about how the dating market works and you can intuit the practical aspects on your own. I've read Models, the Game, the Art of Seduction, but I think the best broadly encompassing principles behind the dating mark…

I get that. Before this summer, most of my pulls were from dating apps, but this last summer I've basically given up on them after realizing how much of a waste of time they are. To give you some context, I'm 23 years old. After going out to bars, sober, on my own, and having pulled a few times this past June and July with girls significantly hotter than any one I've found online, despite the fact that I'm skinny and 5'7'', I've been taking a fuck you attitude to apps. I try to avoid drinking al…

Exactly, that's why online game is a significantly less feasible option for guys than in person game, unless you put a lot of professional work into your dating app profile. Even then, your best self will still never match up to the extreme, false sense of abundance women obtain from dating apps. So you either (1) get a lucky match with a hot girl who's invested in you once in a blue moon, (2) match with an extremely picky hot girl that you are almost forced to chase, (3) get with a girl that's …

Because showing clear interest can indicate who's chasing whom, and therefore who has more value to bring to the relationship. Even though showing clear interest doesn't always mean that you're chasing, that's how it's frequently interpreted.

(1) First of all, excellent job man. Your game seems to be on point, and she's clearly interested. I actually ran into a similar situation 2 weeks ago, cute girl wanted to see me but had a boyfriend. (2) Make up your decision whether you just want to be friends, or whether you want to have sex with her. Ask yourself that question right now. If you want to fuck her, then try to make it happen. If you want to stick to your morals, that's equally respectable. (3) Boyfriend situations are difficult.…

Yeah that makes sense, I can see how in that situation being blunt can be helpful. And I imagine that becomes more true the older one gets, because people don't have as much energy nor patience for games
/r/seduction25/03/21 03:58 AM

I agree with basically everything you said other than "are you not interested?". In my experience, it has made me seem needy. Girls just are not as straightforward as guys in my experience, and trying to get a logical answer like that might fuck things up if they were on the edge. But yeah, if you're pulling teeth, the odds of it happening are probably already pretty low. I definitely agree, pushing can be helpful so long as it doesn't come off as needy. And yeah, I think having some conversatio…

Thank you for stating out the reasons why each of those options wouldn't work. This is great advice, thanks man!

Thanks for your critiques. Wings help a lot when approaching 2 sets because you want to isolate the girl you're interested in and not have her friend be jealous/interfering, especially helpful for beginners when handling 2 people at once is a bit overwhelming. I very much agree on not suggesting a new date in person in reflection, some bad advice I've gotten from some pickup videos. And I think that last part is a good idea. Don't want to dry out the interaction beforehand

Thanks for your response. There are quite a few baseless assumptions here. I never called you stupid, inferior or beneath men by any means, those are strawman arguments Second, they absolutely are shamed by their girlfriends. My closest friend is a girl, she's 20 and goes to a state university, she was shamed by her roommate for literally being raped, "it's not his fault, you should not have gone into a room alone with him, you shouldn't have worn slutty clothes," and so on. She was also shamed …

Just coming back to these responses, yeah it's maybe better to say non-friends, but that depends on the relationships. 2 of my friends who had judgemental friends weren't comfortable discussing their sexuality with others and were shamed for being open about it, e.g. "ew i dont want to hear about your sex life", or "i told you not to sleep with him, if you'd listened to me you wouldn't be in this position". Granted, those are shitty friends. But overall I agree, it's probably more appropriate to…

A study cited by the National Institute of Health: "Fear of social disapproval for transgressing gender norms may lead men to overreport and women to underreport their lifetime partners (Alexander & Fisher, 2003)." Here's the link. These are anonymous studies, and women still tend to underreport. Please tell me that women aren't shamed for their sexuality if they're so confident about having slept with men. Sexuality is incredibly personal subject to many, both men and women, but more so with wo…

Sorry, but if your game is good enough women are not bothered about it, rather flattered and happy, just so long as you don't push any boundaries way too soon, are socially aware, relatively respectful but confident, and don't creep them out. Kstops is a random girl on this sub, nothing personal against you, who does not represent how women feel. I've done dozens of approaches, made some mistakes but only once did a girl actually leave the interaction straight out. Another few times they non-ver…

Thank you for your reply. I think you bring up a good point. I'd agree that most of the time it's a bad idea, and in reality you shouldn't have to rely on waitresses, who's job it is to talk to you, for your dating life. And I know that usually isn't the context people want to be hit on, especially given your coworkers being there, you being stressed out and probably being supervised, etc. That being said, I think in a very few rare instances, it is okay, but a vast majority of the time, in orde…

Sure, great question man. Yeah, it can work for guys that don't show intent at all or don't know how to show intent non-verbally, but I've personally noticed it's much less effective because it gives too much power away, and she knows she can get you if she wants to. It can also just be slightly off-putting if it's said too early, because by cold approaching someone, you might be startling them already, and starting off with "you're cute" may not be as endearing coming from a random guy, so work…

I'd agree on most cases, but actually disagree with as a universal rule. I had one instance a few weeks ago where a waitress repeatedly hinted that she wanted my phone number. It was around 8 pm, at a pizza place and I was eating alone. When she first came to my table, I just flirted jokingly but made light-hearted conversation and gave intentful, non-verbal cues (looked her up and down, smiled with my eyes, spoke slowly and in a flirty, teasing kind of way, etc.), but never verbally complimente…

For sure man, appreciate you saying that! At the end, I realized it didn't matter what my opener was (although I advise never going with corny, pickup-ey openers) so long as I did it confidently and authentically. I usually go with simple, honest openers, one thing that intrigued me about her looks so long as I don't compliment her by saying she's cute. I did it confidently and authentically by smiling with my eyes (because my smile is hidden behind a mask), saying it kind of slowly as if I'm am…

Definitely, this can actually be useful to your date. Get a drink, and then hop to another bar. Get a drink there, then repeat. Movement can build a lot of trust and rapport with someone. I never stay in 1 spot during a date, I usually have a good grasp of the area I'm in because I do a lot of exploring, and taking them around and showing them some pretty areas or some nice bars they haven't been to can give both of you such a great time, and helps you provide her with a lot of value which she w…

Just depends on the guy tbh. I think society is shifting towards no longer shaming women for taking initiative in dating, which I think is great and much healthier. When a woman takes initiative with me, I find it to be a relief, but most of the time I take the initiative in my relationships because that's what is expected

Oh definitely, but that's kind of a red herring (or some other logical fallacy iirc). Amazon has been innovative in several ways, and shipping is one of Amazon's primary sticking points, but that doesn't reduce the influence that data on human behavior had on Amazon's growth. Amazon did several things right, effective data utilization and drop shipping are both the right answer.

Sure thing! Feel free to take a look at my last post here, I did a field approach on a successful approach-to-close I had last week. Basically, I base my day game on being enthusiastic but grounded, both being high value and providing value, having good conversational skills, and just being a positive, polite person. There are elements of game I apply, but that is my fundamental game. My latest post talks a lot more about it. Feel free to come back here and ask me questions, or just dm me!

I actually feel great about myself, and I live a pretty active life outside of this (I dance, I have friends, I work out, and am building an exciting, successful career for myself) and I'm enjoying the conversations with everyone here, including you. I'm very much enjoying my dating experience, so I don't think you're the person that can dictate that. Take your own advice and try not making conclusions based on little information. But thank you for your contributions, and have a great night.

I respect your experience, and I very much agree that much of it is confidence, but my experience has taught me that reflection and analysis do still contribute quite a bit. I work in a field that utilizes sales and marketing (where, basically, we had to sell the idea of something, trying to be vague here to avoid being identified), and I was at the top of my team each week, and top 5% of my org in terms of my numbers. That's not to brag, but to expand upon my point. The reason for that was most…

Thank you for your thoughts. I did it because data is cool and I had a fun time writing it, and I also think human behavior can be categorized and quantified. Try reading "Influence: the Psychology of Persuasion" by Robert Cialdini. Really influenced my perspective on human psychology and behavior. Successful corporations and marketers do the exact same thing, and have been for decades, not that they're a moralistic and virtuous totem, but that's how they get us to buy shit.

yes that could definitely be it, volume, cultural impacts, etc. all have a way bigger impact than pick up artists or even individuals that are successful with dating care to admit, because either they benefit off of universal principles, or they think their way of dating is objectively correct I've lived in 6 different cities in the last 2 years. 2 were impossible to game in, 1 was very difficult because of cliques and pre-established social hierarchies, and 3 were very easy. I appreciate you giving your opinion, and I see the merits of your positions. That being said, you claiming that this is me bragging is pretty baseless, along with a number of other conclusions you make about me, and I'll politely disagree. #1- I'm actually a pretty evenly masculine and feminine person, according to what is genetic and what society dictates as gendered behavior. I'm in touch with my emotions and have been since I started seeing a therapist 2 years ago. #2- This data can be ben…

I don't blame you for feeling that way, but I don't do this to stay sane. This kind of documentation can be useful to a lot of people, because data is the most powerful tool to make quality conclusions, and I don't think we see that enough on this sub Why is Amazon so successful? It's success is rooted entirely in collecting data based on human interaction with computers. Jeff Bezos specifically started Amazon as an online book selling company in order to collect data about user behavior. He sta…

Thanks man! I'd say day game is almost always worth it, and I'll contrast it with night game. Even though I've had more lays with nightgame, I've had a way lower success rate with it. I've been rejected significantly more, so many more hours put into it, and was given much less opportunity in a conversation to contextualize myself and show my value to women before they'd leave the conversation. Nightgame, if you approach a girl, most of the time they know exactly what you're going for, and rejec…

/r/seduction02/12/20 12:41 AM

I think about that too. Like if you could actually identify the exact points that got you laid so it wouldn't all be conjecture, you could just recreate it and learn so easily what helped you succeed in that situation, what type of person you're most likely to get laid with, what times are best to game, etc.
/r/seduction02/12/20 12:31 AM
8

Ah that's a great question. I wish I knew that for myself. I can tell you that all my nightgame approaches successes happened on weekends, and most of my tinder ones too. But I wouldn't trust that data even if it was there, as there's probably a couple of confounding factors influencing it, like I'm pretty occupied during the weekdays, women aren't usually desperate enough to want to see me during the weekdays lmao, etc. But thank you for your comment, that's a really cool reflection

I think you phrased that very well. That's what game is I feel, utilizing certain techniques you learn from others, and finding out how to adapt them to your own personality. What is dating? To simplify as much as possible, it's basically: Your overall value + your game +/- random variables= quality of relationship/fwb/etc. So depending on your value as a person, depending on the girl you're pursuing, depending on the day, etc., you'll get different results no matter what. There are so many diff…

Appreciate it brother. I wasn't from before, I was at 3-5/wk and then slowly declined as my work picked up to 80/hrs a week. Most sets I was being ghosted, friendzoned, or some would be really good, but just logistical issues that I hadn't prepared for came up. But my work finished, so I have the time to do approaches now.

Thank you brother, appreciate you saying that. That's a really annoying problem. Has happened to me plenty in the past, and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens to a couple more times too. It seemed like they liked me, but that they didn't see me as valuable enough to make that final decision to come. I changed that in this interaction by making myself feel more valuable, and projecting that value throughout the conversation. That may have been a factor in that success. But thank you for words …

Haha great point. It wasn't easy, but I took on a strategy of just talking about whatever I could think of and be really interested in whatever I was saying (specifically what I said. Whatever she said would be met with grounded, calm enthusiasm). Great question man. A paradigm shift recently helped me shape a strong inner game. I realized that the best way to make people like you is by building your own value, and providing that value to others, so long as you respect your own boundaries and aren't helping people that don't respect your time (but also not getting upset if someone doesn't see you as valuable). Example of helping: me reading a book about networking, and then sharing that info with a friend who's job seeking but doesn't hav…

Agreed, honestly the best prep I've ever done. I guided my friend by telling her specifically how girls I approach usually act, and mimic it for me. And I made sure the interaction went on for a while, the whole practice session went for like 30 minutes for 2 conversations. The longer conversations really helped me push past the awkwardness in the actual approach, extend it, and give myself enough time to build that rapport

But i took a while to respond to her texts because i was busy with work, and then afterwards she just flaked and stopped responding mostly

great question, sorry for the delayed response, im terrible at checking this thing, especially because this is a throwaway. Yeah, you do just kind of stand there talking with your masks on. Keep your distance and be very respectful in that regard, but a big thing I'd suggest is movement. Movement is really a great way to build comfort. A couple of really valuable tips I've picked up: (A) It really isn't interfering. only thing is yeah, you're less attractive when your mouth and jaw are tucked away, you can't display non-verbal cues as well without facial expressions. But not having a mask makes you seem socially uncalibrated. My suggestion is to put some power into your tonality and eye contact to compensate for mask, focus on and make them a defined part of your approach. You can still escalate, but they do have to be poten…
