Ok, #1 your right I forget women don't always mean what they say. I know she was just interested in talking to me, I just thought it was strange to ask somewhat rhetorical questions to start off. Unfortunately I wasn’t attracted to her and didn’t know how to smoothly friend zone her without offending her.

Good points. I try to overthink things and think -Does she like me or just being friendly? -Is she married? I realize this is the wrong mindset and I should be approaching it with the mindset that she already finds me attractive and I should be the one qualifying her. Going forward I'll just assume she's not and if she is it's her job to tell me so. I don’t like asking because the only time I've been approached by a female she opened with are you married and I thought it was not very smooth and …

Good point, I'm a lower energy guy so I try to avoid clubs because I can't match or have higher energy without it being forced and unnatural.

#7 Living in a tourist city I find girls often have a flight to catch in 5 hours or are leaving tomorrow and its important to find that out early on to see if meeting up is even possible. If a girl gives 1 word answers or there's no chemistry, it doesn’t matter what you say, the point is to stay positive and not start blaming yourself for the bad interaction.

I get it, it just sucks when 50% or more of the girls at a place are in a Bachelorette party and I can’t interact with them.

Thanks for the tips. - Are you speaking in an animated upbeat manner? Or are you monotone? Of course, sounding hyper isn't ideal either. The goal is to be 1 to 2 levels higher than her. I always thought it was better to speak in a deep masculine voice, interesting. One thing I did was talk too quietly, she had to move closer to hear me which wasn't the worst because it increased the intimacy. - Are you talking as if this is something serious? Or are you making it sound light and breezy? Obviousl…

Example of where it would, last time out I overheard a guy approaching 2 girls and the one girl literally screamed at him get the fuck away from me fuck off. The cringe part is he continued trying to talk to them even after that. If I would’ve tried approaching her after that without knowing there's an extremely high chance she instantly rejects me just based on her hostile mood.

I find it's not hard to talk to guys but here's a tip, don’t accept a drink from them or you will feel obligated to listen to their depressing stories.

This story reminds me of the last time I went out at a bar. I noticed two guys next to me and overheard them talking about girls making eye contact but they seemed hesitant approaching anyone. At the same time I approached and introduced myself to two girls at the bar and shook their hands. We had small talk about where they were from etc. Then I confidently asked if she wanted to run the pool table with me. I 100% was expecting a yes but she boringly says she's not good at pool not in a flirty …

I would say no. I recently waited about an hour trying to smile and make eye contact with girls at a bar before approaching and none would do it. I should’ve just approached in a friendly, non aggressive way.

Thing is I look young for my age so I guess they just have too many other options.

It was actually a genuine compliment because I haven’t had good eye contact like that in a while. Next time I’ll try being more friendly and confident.

It gives me anxiety, I feel more calm and chill without it.

I’ve been in pretty much the same place. What has helped me is no porn, no caffeine before I go out and to meditate. I try to smile, make eye contact and say hello to people I walk by. Another tip is to try and go to a strip club where girls are there to talk to you and just have a conversation with the most attractive girl you see and you will realize hot girls are just people too.

Do you think it's your extreme height that makes women intimidated and difficult to make eye contact with because they would have to look almost straight up? I know I psyched myself out of talking to an attractive tall girl because I didn’t feel confident looking up to make eye contact with her.

I think what you're getting at, which took me way too long to realize, is that we had no chemistry together. In a lot of ways we were complete opposites, she had been married and I never had a girlfriend, she was extroverted, I'm an introvert, she seemed to only want to escale things when drunk when I would rather be sober, she ignored/didn't even consider my attempts to advance things and only did what she wanted. The only thing we did have in common was we both wanted attention. I potentially …

The point is she just wanted attention and it wasn’t her that wanted to have sex with me but the tequila.

True I definitely missed an opportunity to talk to two younger attractive girls because I was locked in on this woman. It was just kind of fun like a game to win her over all the other guys, but I definitely need to stop zoning in on one girl especially when it's going nowhere.

I was amazed to see some very attractive guys (6 ft. muscular) hitting on literally every girl, even unattractive ones. Me being just an awkward average looking guy and being rejected by a 5 or 6/10 makes it feel like I would have little chance at anyone decent. Think I need to change things up and try somewhere other than a club.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
