If you Google the opposite "I love my husband" and "I love my wife", you get a 73M to 28M ratio. My guess is a) women are just more likely to discuss relationships online in general b) more content and products about relationships are catered to women c) hatred of men is actively being sold to women by social media pages (stuff like WordPorn) that get bought out by political operatives at a high follower count, which would result in more search hits d) any combination of the above

No. We should have a culture where we are allowed to defend ourselves and where lunatics have no reasonable expectation of ever pulling something like this off. I live in Belgium and we're not legally allowed to even own pepperspray at home. My country is a playground for violent criminals. If anything, the only real use our police serve is to keep the criminals and terrorists safe from us. Total disgrace. My country does not deserve to be saved. Fuck it. Thank God I'm leaving.

It's so sad. Usually, guys "mansplain" things to prevent the embarrassing scenario where the other person has to admit they don't know something, and then you have to walk them through it anyway. Explaining things by default saves time, helps the other person save face, and helps to make sure you're on the same page. It's just an overall considerate thing to do.

It's an allegory for the red pill rage. The point in every man's life where he finds out the world isn't fair and doing what you've been taught to do gets you nowhere. I don't think anyone really sees him as a hero either. It's just that most men will identify with his rage because we've felt it too. Doesn't mean we approve of how he expresses it. The movie even serves as a warning that things will end badly if you don't find a healthy way to channel red pill rage.
