Parenting, Motherhood, Pregnancy Mega-Thread - February 24, 2018I saw this solution on a tv show a million years ago... try a magnet. When it’s your fertile window, put a magnet (a sexy pinup that kinda looks like you maybe?) on the fridge. Message sent without fuss. Be up front “I don’t want to take the fun out of ttc but also there are fertile windows and we need to focus” and let him know when the magnets up he’s got free use. Git her done. I’d also strongly recommend a bit of pre-seed lube in the afternoon (or before he gets home from work) so in case th… | /r/RedPillWives | 25/02/18 07:24 AM
Parenting, Motherhood, Pregnancy Mega-Thread - January 27, 2018Two best pieces of advice I learned: Let tired be tired. You don’t have to hash out every transgression your man is inevitably going to make because he doesn’t do something the way you do. You’re sleep deprived and healing and hormonal. Feelings are not an emergency and as long as he’s not an abusive shit, feelings will keep. I actually kept a note in my phone of my rants and when I’d look a few days later I’d be like “I’m bananas.” Don’t solve problems you don’t have. No need to obsess about sl… | /r/RedPillWives | 28/01/18 11:20 AM
Kids aren't old enough for some things.Generally in the US, you’re referred to the endocrinologist from the GP and in this rare and specific situation that’s a pretty easy get. Honestly they were hoping he’d be gay, less stigma and fewer interventions, but the great grandma said for the first time in her life she realized lgbt people were born that way which was interesting. Their psychologist said he’s basically at no risk for suicide because he’s so supported and accepted at home which was the parents main concern. I think true tra… | /r/RedPillWives | 22/11/17 01:33 AM
Kids aren't old enough for some things. It’s the same in the US. I have a family member going through the early stages of this. When he begins puberty, they’ll put him on blockers and then there are years and years of counseling before the next hormonal step can be taken. It is also addressed from a team perspective, his pediatrician, endocrinologist, and psychologist so lots of perspectives and input. FWIW we’ve known he was a she from toddlerhood, the moment he could express an opinion. He was feminine by every available metric and … | /r/RedPillWives | 22/11/17 12:16 AM
Found this today. Wanted to know you ladies' takes on it.Here's what I don't get (this made the rounds on my local moms FB group and I've kept it inside 😤) if you want him to bear the weight of something, HAND IT OVER. I assume their husbands are competent at their work places. Got decent grades. Were human beings before they met them. So why does he become incompetent when the wife shows up? He doesn't. But how hard do they expect their husbands to wrestle responsibilities from them? I find these wives think there's only one way to skin a cat and liv… | /r/RedPillWives | 03/10/17 05:19 PM
Parenting, Motherhood, Pregnancy Mega-Thread - August 19, 2017What's the sleep schedule during the day and the bedtime routine? I found that my sleep training resistant jkid actually wasn't tired ENOUGH. Once I stretched out the wake time before bed he went down with 2 minutes of crying the first night only. Any sleep training should be occurring where you'd ultimately like him to sleep. I bet you're so close and little tweak would go a long way. | /r/RedPillWives | 29/09/17 03:57 PM
Why Frumpy Makes You GrumpyI'm here on the other side of 2 kids and THIS WILL PASS. It'll likely take 3 full months but it will pass. Some things that helped me feel better (not perfect by a mile): NEW leggings: mine were old when I had the baby so 3 new pairs made me feel so refreshed Cardigans: it helped me feel put together vs just a tank and leggings or a huge sweatshirt. They must have pockets Wipes: some days the best I could muster before dad got home was a full body wipe down and a bath and body spray I love. But … | /r/RedPillWives | 19/09/17 01:36 PM
"28 Days Of Romance" Challenge For Women In Serious RelationshipsDang it!! I would love to try this... but I'm due the 1st. Not the kind of rut buster described 😂 Is this a monthly thing? | /r/RedPillWives | 31/01/17 04:40 AM
Feeling unmotivated after husband's commentsI am a full time lurker on this sub so take it with a grain of salt but this isn't about you and that's the good news. He is responsible for his part and position in his marriage and for his happiness. And likewise you are responsible for yours. Sounds like you are giving 100% and feeling good. Keep it up! His side of the street is his business. That said, can you light heartedly and non confrontationally ask how you can support him? Yes. Does he have to take you up on it? Nope. And then you've … | /r/RedPillWives | 04/12/16 12:54 AM
Absent minded professorIf you talk about it beforehand he might actually find it useful. Good luck! | /r/RedPillWives | 29/10/16 01:13 PM
Absent minded professorHoney do lists can seem so bitchy, but in my house they rule! My husband is a superintendent in construction so he looks at it more like a "punch list". He'd rather have all my "wants" in one organized place where he can prioritize them. The downside of this kind of husband is we're all kind of his employees, and run on his agenda. He forgets that 3 year olds don't dig that :) Every dude is different, thank goodness! | /r/RedPillWives | 29/10/16 02:56 AM
Stop Arguing With Your SOOooooooh my God is this an important skill to foster. My mom is a committed hippie and yet a dyed in the wool red pill-er and this was her number one lesson. She told me as young as middle school "your emotions are not an emergency, they'll keep". It's the marriage advice I give to my girlfriends most often. My phone notes have been useful for this. Whenever something "grinds my gears" I jot a note about it. If I read it a couple days later with a clear mind, it's usually nothing. | /r/RedPillWives | 29/09/16 01:09 PM

The Rational ParentSo much of what they described was how I was raised, by hippies no less, so what is our generations excuse?! I once had to ask a mom friend to stop baby talking to my child as it made my friend unintelligible and was visibly confusing my kid. The item that stuck out to me was when a French mom said (paraphrasing here) "it's not disciplining, it's educating. If the child doesn't learn what's appropriate, adults will dislike them and other children won't understand their behavior." It's so complet… | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/09/15 08:16 PM
The Rational ParentI've skimmed it, and it's just so rational and calm. I love how they approach food, and discipline too. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/09/15 05:14 PM
