I don't want to be that person, but flip the genders! If this was the other way around and a man had admitted to doing even slightly close to what AH has admitted to doing, this trial would be over in a single hearing, let alone 7 weeks. The psychologist report that noted AH gets off on getting violent when JD tries to walk away should be enough to shut this whole case down in JD's favour because it sure as hell would have been all a judge needed to hear if genders were reversed.

Sounds reasonable. Question: what if (knowing these laws) the woman decides to not tell the man that she is pregnant until after that 28 week mark? She can effectively trap him and he has had his chance to paper abort taken away from him.

Surely it has to come down to laziness? If they can force everyone to think that being overweight is "healthy" and "attractive" then they don't have to put in any effort to stay fit. They can just be lazy, eat whatever they want while expecting the man to be bearing a six pack

You mean the woman whom got shamed by "body positivity adherents" for going on a detox and losing weight because she "gave into societal pressure" and "turned her back on the body positivity movement" forcing her to put the weight back on and anyone that was supporting her decision to "get healthy" were called "anti-fat"?

I will admit that the dollar comment was creative. The post is more to highlight the clear double standards that when men get body shamed, they are supposed to just laugh it off and not let it affect us but if anyone body shames a woman, that person gets attacked, dog piled on and called "fatphobic" while the woman gets defended as a "kween" "beautiful" "stunning and brave" "body positive". Either body shaming becomes allowed for everyone or no one. None of this rule for thee but not for me BS

I don't because I don't know if she has served time or when the judgement was handed down. All I know is that she was served a 9 year sentence, the shooting was 2018 (4 years ago) and she has 5 months until she is eligible for parole. Add all of that together, she would serve a maximum of half of her original sentence. For shits and giggles, if she was sentenced yesterday then she only serves 5 months for murdering someone. Either way, it is disappointing that the system has handed out such a le…

The shooting happened in 2018. Not sure when her trial was so I took the 3-4 years from the shooting to now, added the extra 5 months and got a maximum sentence for killing a man of less than half of her original (disgustingly low) sentence.

Considering she sat there with the shotgun for a while, shooting it was premeditated, not self defence. DV is a pretty easy card to pull out for defence lawyers defending a woman. Not to mention that she has a record of DV with the police and the defence tried to get them excused from the case as they "need to be taken in context". Sorry, but someone kills their partner and has a DV record absolutely needs to have those records used in the case.

Prenups are no longer worth the paper they are printed on. They are easy to get dismissed, all she has to do is say that she "signed under duress" and it gets thrown out. Edit: forgot to respond to your last line. Common law marriages exist, meaning that if you live with someone for a pre determined duration (usually 12 months, sometimes 6 sometimes 24) then you are deemed "defacto" and so are considered to have the same rights as a married couple. Best safe guard is to be wary of dating but nev…

I might throw a couple of examples out that people haven't seem to mention yet. First example: the Drake situation. He had consentual sex with a woman and was wearing protection. He finished in said protection, sealed it and threw it away. Doesn't want to get her pregnant. The woman then goes and collects said sealed protection, opens it and proceeds to attempt to insert itinto herself in hopes of getting pregnant...against Drake's will. If he didn't put the hot sauce in there, she may have been…

In most countries with CS, if you owe even a dollar then the government puts you on a no fly register that stops you from leaving the country, for this exact reason.

Single parent adoption requires you to prove that you can afford the costs of raising a child before they allow the adotion to be finalised. Unfortunately, you don't need to prove this same step when getting pregnant/giving birth. Majority of the time, the mother can't afford basic living expenses let alone the added costs of a child or 6. If they could afford it then there would be no need for CS. You're 100% right though that CS is just a legal wealth transfer system that the government skims …

I mean no disrespect but I think you misread what she wrote. She stated that it is "definitely not 50/50". The father only sees the child on a Tuesday because he doesn't want any other days. This means that he is paying the full amount of support possible and she is worried that if he takes on another day to "help" her out, then it might bump his time up into the next % bracket which will decrease how much CS she recieves.
/r/MensRights30/03/21 06:41 PM

I am all over how CS is calculated, here in Aus at least, as I was paying CS until CPS and the courts handed me full custody.
/r/MensRights30/03/21 06:34 PM
1

I don't think it is that she wants more money from him, she is already getting the maximum amount she can at this stage. She wants to keep the money she is getting while not having to take care of the child as often. If she is genuinely needing help, wanting the father to have more time with the child and it not being about the money then she should not be concerned about it affecting her payments.

What about in the situation where the male where's a condom, throws it in the bin and the female the takes it out and uses it to get pregnant? The male practiced safe sex yet is now forced to pay child support to a women whom had a child against his will. You may say this is farfetched and doesn't happen but it can and does.

THAT was extremely painful to read and she repeated herself three times over three paragraphs. Obviously the "wreck" destroyed her punctuation just as much as it did to conveniently remove all memories of her ex and her infidelity, so she has a clear conscious.

It takes: 4 weeks for you to start seeing changes, 8 weeks for your friends and family to notice, 12 weeks for the rest of the world to see. It takes time. The key is to keep going even if you aren't seeing results as the results are happening under the skin. Just keep at it because in six months your future self will be proud of how far you've come.

I agree that the OB was out of line and unprofessional but the 15yo handled it in a mature way that everyone nowadays needs to learn how to handle situations. Her mother on the otherhand is a prime example of the overreaction hysteria that people have nowadays, calling for his job, going to the police, getting a psychologist and DV/Sexual Abuse professionals involved. Everyone just needs to calm down, breathe, grow a thinker skin and stop getting "offended" by everything!

What irritates me is that his name gets tarnished and dragged through the mud but even when his name is cleared, they STILL can't name the accuser. Once you are cleared of any wrongdoing, the accusers name should be published in the article so she can't falsely accuse the next poor bloke that she sleeps with.

IMO, sex is like an addiction that the mind craves for. Once you can eliminate that craving from your mind, you end up with a clear head and realise, like all recovering addicts, that you didn't need it to survive to begin with and life is much simpler without it.

True. I believe that if the male had done any time behind bars, the accuser should do the same punishment as he had to do ie. Same amount of time behind bars. Having her named though will do significant damage to her reputation (obviously not as much as a rape accusation does to a male) and that will have roll on consequences.

So I just read that CPR article and the writer defended mother's in it and made them the victims. It was a detailed read but when she wrote the stats the 1.4mil kids neglected and 1,700 were killed by a mother vs 661,000 neglectes and only 859 killed father's, she broke it down into a % which was 0.12% and 0.13% respectively. You can either date but not get into a relationship or move in with a woman or; You can go out and find yourself. Find work and hobbies that YOU enjoy doing. Go out on adventures to places that YOU want to see. The key is to learn to find yourself and doing things that bring you enjoyment and fulfilment. Once you learn to love your own company, woman and intimacy stop becoming a controlling factor in your life.

Work, hobbies, gym or the very rare booty call. If you keep yourself busy and don't think sexually about females, you'll be surprised at how quickly those urges subside into nothing.

What I don't understand is about situations like this is, why is it "mental health" when a woman murders her kids but when a father does it it's "domestic violence"? It is a common theme here in Australia, especially in the last 5 years.

As someone that has come from a toxic and abusive "relationship" I can sort of understand why some people stay. One: there was/is no support for males like there is females and two: I knew I had to leave but would make the excuse that "she isn't always like this" or "she treats me better when we aren't around anyone". As an Electrician myself, I can say that it is one of the best trades to be in. There are so many areas that you can upskill into as well. I never understood paying for 4-8 years of Uni (college) to get an internship or entry level job, most of the time not even in the same field that you studied in when you can go do a 4 year apprenticeship and be paid to learn, not pay to learn. Just my opinion though.

I've just had my child support payments (Australia) increased to $1,300 a month for one child. I work in rail and work when I don't have my little one. She works from home but decided to have another child to guy whom is "boarding" in her spare room. She would be claiming maximum single parent benefits while living in a duel income household while I'm MGTOW, paying all bills myself and now being financially punished because of her decision to have another kid. System is definitely fucked.
