I have high testosterone for a woman and have been into heavy powerlifting for decades. It takes some serious food with my routine to make bulk.

Unfortunately, everyone in North America likes to pretend they only happen in third world poverty which causes us to not get any proper treatment them.

Just this recent Easter I had to sit there and listen to my mother's mother-in-law gush on and on about how amazing my (stbx) husband is for sitting there and assisting our two year old in eating her food. Meanwhile I was wrangling the other four kids by myself. The bar is so low it pissed me off. I hate how he gets endless praise for doing 10% of the bare minimum. He isn't even a functional adult, but manages to pull off one task and he's superman and people fall to their knees in worship. Mean…

I do the same! Heck I have another 2 job interviews next week. I'm basically addicted to checking my indeed and LinkedIn accounts every morning.

I don't even understand the grossness. Back in college my roommate and I literally never once cleaned our shower for years and it still was white. I mean it was definitely nasty and had soap scum, but nothing was brown. Even super iron laden water doesnt leave that shade of brown. Also. Whythefuck is the woman who formerly lived there responsible????

That particular birth the baby was in a terrible position so I tore wonky. I wouldn't say negligence. Cesarean was ok. Not really scary. If it's a scheduled one, then it's not a bad recovery since you don't really labor at all. Personally, I preferred cesarean. My doctor did really nice low cuts. Vaginal births were a nightmare for me. But my sister had no issue whatsoever.

I did have a fistula and the vagina pooping after kid #2. I did cesarean after that. Cesarean healing is so much more predictable as long as you take it easy

I was recently talking with coworkers about prescriptions. I was literally the only one there not on a slew of anxiety meds ,anti-psychotics, and other mood stabilizers. I seriously think a huge percentage of women are drugged into compliance and don't need any of this shit. Obviously some people need these meds, but 98% of the female population??? Bullshit. It's basically the modern day treatment for "hysteria". Keep her doped up enough to stop her "complaining", aka not being a brain dead door…

I've always felt like this. After doing the math, I figured out I can only afford to leave my husband with my children, if I have a housewife to take care of the kids and house while I am at work and school. With daycare costing $4k a month, It would be way cheaper for me to support a SAHM. And I would have someone to split chores with. In my experience, having a wife is great. Being a wife.....not so much.

Even educated isn't enough. My STBXH has a degree, but I can't really connect with him on anything. They need to be educated and intellectually curious enough to desire discussing things.

It has been more than 25 years since I last saw pregnancy tests, condoms, or baby formula NOT behind a locked case. Which is super annoying. It really just makes me order everything online. Which is not helpful when you need something more immediate.

Yeah. They secretly do want that and are ashamed at the same time. I suppose it falls under the toxic masculinity umbrella. In my experience it was a specific type that were really into obvious anorexia. (Overeducated white guys with very little employment. The type with 400k in student loan debt and way too many opinions for someone whose never had a real job.) Which is also why I would advise women to never settle down with a man who is still in school. You just have no idea who he is going to…

I'm in my 40s and this is by far my best decade in every possible way. I'm fitter, wiser, more money savvy, more life savvy, more educated, better dressed, more esteemed, and more expetienced. And I have no idea if I am attractive to men because I don't really care. I am definitely more attractive than 98% of the men in my age bracket since most of them are a dumpster fire. But that logical reality doesn't really translate in the minds of many men so I don't give it much thought. If you are livin…

My STBXH is a raging alcoholic. Anything that reminds me of beer makes me angry. I love flowers, except for one particular type of Lilly. (I don't even know the name.) The one and only time he has gotten me flowers in 20 years, he got me 4 of that exact Lilly and put them in a beer stein as a vase. I was never able to figure out if he is psychotic or just really really stupid.

I got into powerlifting years ago. I am larger than i used to be due to all of the muscle mass I have gained. Technically I guess that makes me less "feminine". Being strong is awesome. I love than I can pick up anything I need. I love that throwing a 150 lb sack of feed in my truck is no problem for me. I live that I personally know very few men stronger than me. Omg. The constant infections. I thought I had a hormone unbalance or chronic BV. My gynecologist tested everything she could think of. Prescribed me every yeast and BV remedy. Turns out it was just my body reacting to his festering dick cheese. When he pulls down his pants, I can smell the rancidness from 20 feet away. A penis should never smell like that. I am in my early 40s and in that exact predicament. I did it all right with keeping a side hustle and my own accounts, but it wasn't enough. Getting your fulltime career going again is tough. Daycare for multiple kids costs more than I earn. Juggling everything is already nearly impossible. Bouncing back is almost impossible if your kids are young. I would advise women to not spread their kids out too much if they have more than one. It prolongs the financially trapped years.

Yes. Most people do not bother with prenups when they are starting out with nothing. They should. Although I have a hard time seeing one like that being held up in a community property state. The same laws that can protect you can also screw you over.

I was a sorta SAHM for years and I regret it. I mostly did it because he sabotaged my career efforts at every turn and also never contributed anything beyond his paycheck. I figured if I had to do 100% of the adulting whether I was working or not, i would not. Of course not having something is not in my personality so I still owned my own business and worked freelance. Even though we worked the same hours, since i worked from home, my work was not acknowledged. So it didn't even matter. He repea…

This poor woman needs an internal glow up overnight so she can leave this guy in the dust. Any man dragging you to the alter before you've even known each other a year is going to be a control freak. And now he's shown he's a heartless bastard as well.

It isn't really about love or manipulation. It's about having enough of a life outside of him that he knows you have options that don't purely exist for him. It should happen naturally if you are well rounded and living your best life.

This is refreshing. I'm so sick of hearing how anger is wrong and unhealthy and basically says you're a bad person. NO. Anger is often the justified and a HEALTHY response to shitty things. It means you actually value yourself enough to get mad. The day I was yet again horrifically abused and no longer got angry was the day I knew i was finally broken. NO. I am done. I want the anger. The anger means I'm alive and will get shit done.

OK. What's his point? I am the gatekeeper of sex with me. I am also the gatekeeper of a committed relationship with me. Multiple men have proposed to me, but I didn't say yes to all of them because I am the gatekeeper to marriage with me as well. A dude can think he is a gatekeeper to whatever he wants, but none of it has fuck-all to do with us. He is only a gatekeeper to himself. Not all men. Ooooh, can we #Notallmen back at them?? That is what my kitchen always looks like since I went on strike. Except all the cabinet doors are open too. I'm constantly on the verge of a mental breakdown having to leave it like that. But there's no friggin way I am cleaning up after him anymore. I am dedicated to mirroring his effort until I land a new job and file for divorce. Hopefully the kids won't be ruined in the meantime.

The only time I decided to give a really unattractive guy a chance, he ended up being really into sadism, unemployed, and filled my voicemail with 87 messages during a single shift I was at work. It drives me nuts how nearly all men claim it's impossible for men to have yeast infections. How stupid can someone be? You can get a yeast infection in your armpits and behind your knees even. As a woman in my 40s, who's social group consists of many men of similar age, this is ludicrous at best. I have never met a man who peaked in his 40s. And my social group is of the athlete variety that would put us all in the top 5% for our age as far as physical attractiveness goes. So yeah. Lmao.

There's no way it's only 14%. Hell my lvm husband has raped me while he was drunk and he is one of the better men I know. That is how fucking sad the reality is. I am going to leave him, but most women would consider him a catch and therefore make excuses for his behaviour. I would bet marital rape is close to 50% in developed nations and damn near 100% in plenty of other countries. My source is every woman I have ever known in my life.

I can see that. I have had to disentangle and heal myself while still living with him since I cannot file for divorce and move out with our area still in lockdown. It has been like emotionally stabbing myself every day and requires the strongest boundaries ever. Having to learn to love myself enough to enforce it all and know I deserve that respect has been so difficult. Especially since we have children. I'm just glad I can sleep on a different floor.

Visible abs is something neither sex can maintain 24/7 without it wrecking havoc on hormones. It's why people who do physique competitions have to do cutting cycles. Every time I get anywhere close to a 4-pack I lose my menstrual cycle for about 18 months.

I am 19 years married to a man. I am trapped for the time being, in a life that seems hopeless. It is palpably lonely. I will tell you this: Build yourself. Seek out hobbies, education, and opportunities that make you feel amazing and invincible. Build and grow to the point you have no need for any external validation. Do amazing things and developed your self-esteem to a point where there is no company better than your own. Because even if you do end up with a family, it does not quell loneline…

Basically my entire marriage. So essentially since Google first existed 20 years ago. Sometimes it was: "how to get husband to be nice to me." "How to get husband to find me attractive." "How to be better wife so husband likes me." Then it was years of "how to be sexually appealing enough to get him to actually want sex with me". And now it's "how to find good divorce lawyer when kids are involved."

Same with my STBXH. Then He points to his excessive volunteer work as proof he's not a sack of shit. I swear he only does the volunteering for bragging rights and validation. Even his boss is starting to see through his veil.

I fell for that shit and married him. Talk about a 20 year disaster. I'm working on getting out. I'm so glad I'm in a better place and value myself enough now not to get suckered by another sociopath.

My STBXH did this once. And then the next day he had NO recollection of it at all and accused ME of raping him. It left me very hurt and confused. He used to have a lot of sleep walking and sleep eating episodes. He seems to have outgrown all of his somnia issues.

As soon as all this covid shit is better. All the schools and childcare is shut down in our state, which makes my work schedule insane. Since it will be a year before our schools are back to normal, I have no where to send my kids so I need him around during the day while I'm at work. In the mean time I'm saving up money in my own account for a lawyer and apartment and working on a masters degree so I'm not just rotting here.

What really hits home for me is the guilt I feel. My LVM STBXH has been making me some some dinners so that there is something in the fridge for me when I get home from working late shift. I actually feel guilty about him making me a few lousy meals!!! I did 100% of all cooking and cleaning until like 5 seconds ago and now I feel guilty for no longer being a doormat.

I can see that. I'm still salty over how much he hated my body while pregnant. And it's not like I had a nice bank full of prior compliments to live off of either. It definitely plays a role in my decision to divorce because it was another symptom in our marriage's illness.

I didn't date at all for four years of college and then at 22 I met my now STBXH and we got married very quickly. I regret doing it that way! If I could do it all again, I would have done some casual dating as a learning experience so that I had more dating maturity and ability to catch the red flags. Being too innocent is BAD. So I vote for a mix. A little casual dating here and there while kerping most of your focus on studies. Studies are important in college, but so are other life skills.

I only have three relationships to draw from (long time husband and 2 exbfs), but none of them have been porn users. Or at the very least so rarely that it is less than once a year. Other than financial suicide, the big problem with tradwifing is that men never respect it. This is the same way I like to travel. Lots of things, lots of energy. Honestly, the only travel partner I have that jives the same is my mom. Which is kinda funny.

1) Stay away from coworkers. 2) You don't sound into him at all and like you are reaching to convince yourself to like him. 3) Personally, I suggest not getting involved with someone if you feel palpably lonely. It can lead to you making bad decisions or compromising too much. Join a club or start a new hobby instead.

This is true in all facets of life. Not only can he not plan a decent date, he also won't plan his life, his week, the family financials, the house, anything. BECAUSE MODERN MEN ARE INCAPABLE OF MAKING DECISIONS. Even decisions like " maybe I should get a bed frame this year or decide to wash my sheets in the next six months". It is insane.

In my case, I no longer resent him. I am past that phase and now on to total indifference. Once i naturally reached that point, I didn't need to actively detach, it just naturally happened. I wish I had real advice. The hardest part in mainting my poker face is I feel very guilty. He still loves me. Or at least he feels his version of love.

Yes. It will be a couple years before I can file for divorce due to daycare costs and other things. In the meantime: I am applying for jobs. I applied to grad school. I am slowly squirreling away cash to pad my escape fund. I am refurbishing and leveling up my wardrobe. I lost 10 lbs. I'm working on beefing up my passive income streams. I'm getting deeper into productive hobbies. Pursuing more skills training. Reading more inspiring content to keep the momentum. It is difficult though since I ne…

THANK YOU. I was the ultimate cool girl and trad red pill type wife and now I've been stuck in a shitshow marriage for 18 years. Now I have 6 kids, no friggin job skills, no support network, all because my energy goes toward a sinkingvrelationship with a dysfunctional manchild. I am trapped for another 4 years or so. DO NOT SETTLE FOR MAN WHO SEEMS "GOOD ENOUGH" and do not change your boundaries for him. Being the cool girl ruins your fucking life. Don't be me.

I needed to heed this type of advice in about 2008. Ok 2005. Actually 1996.
