Sounds like I need to work on my group skills, thanks for the pointers.

That's the plan. Problem is limited opportunities to actually ask them lol, they either disappear at lunch or are talking with each other in class. It could just be me, asking a girl out in front of the class seems like a bad move.

I just wondered if once a day vs every day made a difference, your advice actually does sound solid! Anyway, I got a nice chuckle from that reply, thanks.

Ah, this sounds like what I was expecting. Be cool, go after opportunities but don't try too hard. You're welcome to elaborate, if you have anything else to add.

It's only once a week.

"Mysterious quiet dude" does not exist. If you are good looking, girls might send you some IoIs but at the end of the day, unless you talk to them you'll just be an afterthought. Perhaps Mr Gosling's fame would get him approached, but... he's a Hollywood star. I'd wager that some girls are curious about the so-called "MQD", but this doesn't really mean anything unless you talk to them. -From someone who gets a lot of IoIs and is quiet.

Well, I've seen celebrities impersonate different accents. I'm not sure how much time did they put or how much effort it takes. Potential factors at play: being a native, born English speaker, being payed, having the best teachers available. Anyway, I'd recommend focusing on the areas you are worst at. Which words sound the worst? Work on those first. If you are trying to rid yourself of your accent, focus on the dead-giveaway areas for now. Good luck ;-)

I'm from India, and Indian English accent sucks. Yeah. It's a tough one. From what I've seen, unless you have been speaking RP from a very young age, it's almost impossible to learn. This is magnified when you are from a vastly different language, there are some sounds which I've seen people unable to make after several decades speaking English. On the flipside, I reckon it is possible, however you'd probably need to spend most of your time learning it. Something you'd need a real-life class and…

This subreddit probably isn't the best to ask such a question. IMO, Don't bother. Just learn English normally. But if you want to hear it, just type "British newsreader" into Youtube - the older the picture, the better. What motivates you to learn RP?

fear of rejection Why? Your post hasn't provided much context. Sometimes it's the situation that makes us scared, perhaps you see these people regularly, and you're worried you'll see them again? Or are you afraid of someone laughing at you, telling you to fuck off? The former is known as "don't shit where you eat", basically don't make advances on people you bump into regularly because it'll just make your life difficult. The latter, internal fear is something that is commonly discussed here.

Do you want to approach them? Do it if it feels natural and you believe in yourself.

I'm not quite sure how to go about that. As I've said I'm confident in myself, my hobbies etc, looks/style are getting me interest. I don't feel like a loser until other people are involved. Am I supposed to go around shouting at people "hey, look, I have a life!" ? There's a few girls at my school, they're only in the top 2 years though. They're well "guarded" by the guys. At the very least, I'm not "in" with anyone, at the worst people treat me as a weirdo/outcast. I've had this for years, whe…

tagged as a pathetic loser Let's just say that I'm used to that :/ I doubt I could fall any lower in anyone's eyes right now. Best way to pick up women is live and in person My current problem is being at school in a small town. I see girls when I commute, yes they give me IoIs but it's not like it's a party, people usually just wanna get to school/get home, or they're with their friends. I usually make eye contact, smile when I'm feeling it and sometimes say hi but yeah it usually feels quite d…

I wouldn’t use FB for meeting women I get it's dumb to do on a large scale, but wouldn't it be ok if you go for girls who have a similar vibe to your own? Like, what if you're both into films or cooking?
/r/askTRP08/04/18 08:04 PM

Use the delay timer Thanks! I'll try that - but again, is it more important to look interesting or attractive on Tinder/FB?

Not true nofap but edging, finishing only once a week (YMMV). More energy, more drive. Just keep it a reasonable amount.

Caring that she blocked you Unfriended. Block = she's more butthurt than I was = not worth my time. If you apologize you're the one who will be sorry. It will be the final nail your coffin, forget respect, she will despise you at a deep, primal, emotional level Why does this sound funny?
/r/askTRP05/03/18 09:00 PM

Being intentionally mean to them makes you seam butthurt Yeah, that's exactly what I did and regret. Do not make it a big deal! Be polite Yeah, I'm sure as hell gonna remember these next time. Thanks dude, this is what I was looking for.
/r/askTRP03/03/18 08:10 PM

Thanks dude. Snubbed her Exactly. I treated her badly, this is why I am feeling like this. I thought I was being "RP" but I was being butthurt. What lesson can I take from this?

If she unfriended you, leave her alone. Your situation isn’t unique. It’s called oneitis. You’re refusing to accept it because you want it to be special. The best thing to do is move on. Any further contact other than a hello in person is stalkerish behavior Thanks dude. I guess you're right. I still don't know what to do about the regret though, it's getting to me. you want it to be special Interesting, tell me more. The next girl will nothing about the old you I guess I'll repeat every mistake…

This sounds like an ego thing You could be right there. I'll reflect on that. If they already ended then things fucking ended I never got this, thought it only applied to LTRs and not aquaintances. I don't like to close doors on people unless they've been bad to me. Why could this be? "oh, I'm a better person now than I was before. I need to show how much of a better person I am and 'end it' on a better person level I am... I'm a better person." LOL Anyway thanks dude.

so you can live in your head forever as marrying and having kids with multiple women/or banging women while never getting rejected Thanks - my problem exactly. To think I was "planning" my approach lol.

why do you need to tell her? Great question. I got IoI's from her, but I overthought it. In the end I just walked past her. In other words, I acted butthurt/immature when I was ok with her. I'm insincere like that sometimes because I just don't know what is appropriate or normal behaviour. Hence why I feel the need to explain. re-create myself Doing this as far as I can, still at school though (and lonely, worst place to be). Anyway, thanks for the response.

Thanks. you with your dog How are cats? Also, anything for my main question (ambiguity, wanting closure, unsure of how to get it)? Basically I can't shake the fact I've ignored her for no good reason, as we had good times I'd hate her to feel bitter. Advice?

Find a photographer Gotcha, thanks. active & adventurous photos Again, selfies are ok if active or just a big no?

Thanks man. tinder Any advice/resources on how to take profile pics (selfies)? I'm very good looking (get IoIs), but I am crap at selfies and haven't got any homies.

I don't think you have read my post. I have asked several questions and you haven't answered any, while seeming to suggest that I should go "redpill rambo" at school. This is quite a delicate situation as I can't just run away from any social fuckups at school. Hence why I asked several questions on the intricacies of the situation.

That seems double edged, what are you trying to say?

Interesting response, thanks. Do you have her number? Unfortunately not, only FB. Also, What IOIs? Can you be misinterpreting? I sat down, and she was tossing her hair, turning around/glancing at me. She also put on a pair of glasses and then took them off immediately (lol). Bus was pretty empty.

I've had this loads. If it is a specific song then listen to it. Not much point trying to ignore it IMO, art/music is there to be embraced.

I have mood swings too. eliminate my low days completely AFAIK this can't be done. You have to ride the wave, if you feel like shite then stay away from others. If you feel invincible then go forth into the world and make it your own. Do you have any art/musical interest? This has helped me on low days.

the silent mysterious type, although that's not me. Exactly. It's not you. Don't go against your personality just for the sake of it. It seems to be guys who have fun and enjoy themselves pull more and attract more easily Answered it yourself, GG. Perhaps you will be seen as a "laugh", that is a solid gold way to make friends and be included.
/r/askTRP24/07/17 01:46 PM

like it's nothing Example? It may be nothing, it may be important. If its a close friend then you should listen. If you can offer advice, offer advice. If you can't "feel" the same way, perhaps give a story about yourself in a similar situation or how you would react. That's what I'd do. If you just can't relate to it, be honest. Even with close friends you have to lose sometimes. IDK about LTRs.

You can't force it. Try and get out there and socialise as often as possible when you're in a good mood Top advice, thanks.

You're not 'low self-esteem' by being quiet No, that's part of that mood, ALONGSIDE being quiet. The point is I give a COMPLETELY different impression if you caught me in such a mood. How would I "stabilise" my personality when I feel like that?

Mate, her IoI's were insane, and I was almost laughing at the end of my journey. But I meant about the other girls, who were hotter than her and not giving me IoIs being creeped out.
