I think the claim made by the pro-men position is that the average is the same but the distribution is different. So you get more geniuses and idiots in the male group.

I don't come here very often, but it appears that this sub had gone from a debate space to a full on extension of tbp. This is why we can't have nice things. I'll swing back in another couple months.

In 2012 how many men were murdered? How many women? In India do women suffer from homicide more because of the oppression?

My comment here is more about flaunting mod power. I get moding is a hard and thankless job. But prefacing comments with shit like 'I'm going to allow this' really bugs me. The fastest way to ruin a sub is a mod on a power trip. I'm not saying this is major example. I don't come here often enough to know. I just call it when I see it.

Comment to mods. Either enforce your rules or don't. Subjective enforcement for your amusement to see how it plays out is stupid.

As an FYI, because of how you started this comment I read the whole thing as you on a power trip. I give zero fucks that you can remove a post. If you want to do it, don't waste my time telling me that you can. For now you will be benevolent and allow us to read it? Wtf? Makes you sound like a prick who should not have any influence.

I didn't mean the down votes here, I was referring to creepy threads on tbp where they analyze the post and comment history of certain red pill members, building up a dossier of them; stalking their online persona and publishing it to the sub with an analysis. Creepy as fuck.

Ahhh I see. First I apologize for not being clear, I see where you are coming from. I was trying to make a joke in that I don't consider 'political debates' to be debates. The winner is whoever will get elected so in these debates people can do whatever they want. For instance, facts don't matter, but body language does. I thought the statement about debating is not about making people feel warm and fuzzy expressed that, sorry about that. So without being funny here is my stance: debating is abo…

What? I'm not trying to change the sub's rules. Read what I wrote. Calling someone out as a bad debater because they are rude is a fallacy. They are rude - that's it. Okay they are also breaking the sidebar rules but purple pill debates sidebar is not the qualifications to be a good debater. I agree with your point about the down-voting. I'm fine with down-voting dicks, but let's not pretend dicks are being downvoted because they are bad a debate.

We are going to have to spend some time defining terms. I read acting emotionally as synonymous with acting irrationally. (I do not think acting irrationally is bad BTW. I don't mean irrationality and crazy are the same thing - sometimes it is important to trust your gut.) The actions taken might not be 'wrong' but they are not based on logical thought. So I read being 'more emotional and more rational' as a contradiction. I'm not saying you're wrong, but as long as we disagree on the definition…

Why is that a problem? Is it just for purposes of debate, or do you feel like there should be an official RP platform? What is alpha to one dude is beta to another. I think that how people view relationships should be elastic in many different ways. For me, I only seem them as mental 'stakes-in-the-ground' that I can use to compare certain things I do, have done, and will do to. Somethings I do are more alpha, somethings are more beta. I didn't think about things like that before at all, and now…

Insulting your opponent to discredit their ideas is argumentum ad hominem. Calling people names is just being a dick. You can have both. If someone dismantles your idea using rational thought and then calls you an idiot your idea should still be considered wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/14 05:33 AM

First, lots of RP submitter go negative. Second have you considered that it is not his phrasing, arguments, or opinions that get down-voted but rather his username. TBP has made RPS a minor celebrity. It is really creepy how much they obsess over a few members of TRP and RPW.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/14 05:31 AM

I don't really see you as the anti-christ TBP wants you to be, but that was not your strongest moment. My experiences lines up more with yours, but if the studies are done correctly and say there are all kinds of women out there looking to pay, or that a dinner date on average is only $30. . . well I'm not going to argue with it in a formal debate. And since, my dinner dates are usually right around $100 as well, you can toss me into your anecdotal-evidence-that-you-can-never-use-pile.

So I had to teach a yoga class tonight and typed my reposes pretty quickly and on my phone. Sorry if they make me sound riled up; I'll try to do better now that I have a keyboard. I feel like I'm about to repeat myself a bit so point out specific points of confusion or disagreement. If you want to claim that RPS is a poor debater that is fine, but don't say that he is a poor debater because he is rude. That was the Ad Hominem that I was complaining about. Sounds to me like you spoke from a position of ignorance. Do you think woman over 30 do not hit the wall? Do you honestly believe that woman who is 30 is as sexually attractive as she was when she was 20? Do you believe that a typical woman has as much dating power at 30 as she does at 20? It is a harsh truth but that doesn't make it less true. Do you believe that the average, or typical woman comprehends the way I want to be loved and in our current culture can develop that type of love for me?…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/14 04:58 AM

Why is that? I would say in the context if people I have met the average women was more emotional and the average man was more rational. Are you saying in your life the average man is more emotional than the average woman? If so how old are you and in what country do you live? That's interesting to me. Or do you mean the biological and the should be submissive part? I kind of agree with you there.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/14 02:12 AM

Because it appears to withhold context to emphasize a specific point of view aka a strong bias.

I read that thread yesterday. What is your point? It was certainly not a strong argument I agree but it is far, far from the worst up voted arguments I've seen on this sub. Being rude is not a debate tactic. It is orthogonal to debating. You're using an ad homonym fallacy to prove rps is a poor debater. Fuck that noise. You want me to listen to you use examples like you just did don't bitch about hurting people's feelings.

If you want to start calling out trolls and preachers your list better have a lot more names on it than just rps. I don't give a fuck about him but your claim is bullshit unless you start calling out a lot more people.

Yeah that's not true. It is one of the reasons trp sees this sub as a joke.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/14 01:44 AM

Is this a joke? There are a lot of 'bad' debaters here rps is not one of them. Also being rude condescending and patronizing are not 'bad debate tactics' unless you are running for political office. Debating is not about making people feel warm and fuzzy.

In real life I don't go around with a name tag announcing the fact and honestly if a guy makes it obvious that he is a RP man then he is doing a bad job at it. Also I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the woman here will slap the RP label on men they don't like, while pretending that the RP men they do are just confident. So I read your question as how was your sex with a loser? Typically I would expect it to be somewhat lacking. A better question would be how was your sex with a strong c…

This is why this whole thread is a waste of time. Why are we even talking about this? I'm not trying to peer review the shit I read on trp or tbp. Last I checked no one here is trying to get shit published in 'Nature.' If they were I would be a lot more harsh. Are we allowed to speak in generalities to answer this? I think in general a man loves a woman the way a woman loves her children. He would die for her; to him, her life is more valuable than his. A woman should not love her man this way. She should love her children this way. For the continuation of the species men are more disposable than women, and I believe the way we love is a corollary to this rule.

And before the guy was entitle why did they not want to sleep with him? I think you're missing the point about why both your logic and relationship advise suck. It certainly wouldn't hurt to drop the shitty attitude but being entitled is certainly not the root cause of an incel being incel. And acting like it is... that is bullshit. Trust me I hear what your saying and I get it. What I am saying is that you have not figured out the 'cause' of anything.

I'm pretty sure LMR is more of a ons or hookup thing. If you're causal sex come from short term relationships and FWB then I get why maybe you haven't encountered it. I'm usually more of a rp person. Tbp hates me check my post history, but lmr is something I don't understand. Your cause and effect thinking doesn't quite work. You're a virgin because you haven't had sex which may or may not be related to your asshole attitude. I know a lot of asshole douches that are not virgins and a lot of really nice guys who are. I would say more often than not you are a virgin because you are subjectively not very attractive. I know a lot of girls who think an asshole type guy is hawt, so I think you should not be so quick to say being an asshole hurts your chances of having sex.

Loosing weight is hard for some people, it is natural to others. Getting laid is hard for some people, it is natural to others. I hate how people on tbp mock people who have trouble loosing weight and ask for advise. I especially hate it when it sounds like the the ones laughing are naturally thin. It makes it so much worse. TBP hides behind the parody thing all the time. There is an epic amount of harassment over there. It can be like that. It can also just be fun! That doesn't mean don't do it, it means be sensitive to the people you interact with. I think it is why guys crash and burn when they try their hand at negging the first few times. There is a happy middle ground where you just flirt. Gotta try and find it. Also it is not just guys that fuck up the negging. I've had a girl who was flirting with me take my hands and feet thing a little too far. Was a turn off, and kind of awkward for everyone.

They can be the opposite of fun, which is why the comment 'don't be a dick' was used. It is also why I said it has to be subtle and fun. If you are just a jerk it is the opposite of fun. There are lots of times when people are around each other this happens. You push your friends boundaries and they push back. Maybe you don't call it negging. Did you read the comment where the guy said don't be a dick? If you analyze negging that is what it is about but if you analyze lots of flirting behavior or take it too far it is bad. If a girl playfully hits my arm that is good. If she kicks me in the balls that is bad. When I playfully make fun of a girl I am taking her down a notch and forcing her to qualify herself but it had to be subtle and fun.

Ever tried teaching someone who is not a natural how to flirt? Guess what, you are gonna teach them negging. It is a big part of flirting and playful banter. Have you ever flirted? Analyze the conversation; you probably were negging in it at some point. It is really not that complicated and pretty common. I don't know why slapping a name on it makes it such a villain.

It also doesn't give you a voice to speak for all women. I am a human, so are you. That doesn't that give me the right to speak for you. Also I'm trying not to make it palatable. I am pointing out that it is not an all or nothing deal. And we can all do the 'demonstrably' evidence thing. Maybe men like younger women because they are less likely t…

We are reading that differently. When I read it I thought the circles overlapped but women were more concerned with the content of the overlap than men. I think men still are attracted based on the overlap they are just more concerned with other traits, like physical attractiveness.

No we fucking don't. We want our own lives. I was saying that you don't have to reject the concept of being a part of your partners life to still have your own. It shouldn't be a competition. Also who is this we you speak of? Are you speaking for all women? I'm not sure you are any more qualified than he is to decide what women are attracted to in general.

Those are enabling factors as well, but lets not kid ourselves: you're an enabler if you do this and you should own it. And if you dont and she hooks up with someone else then he is the enabler and I'll hassle him instead. I hate it when people cheat or monkey branch and I wish it wasn't so damn easy. When my friends do it I let them know. Ultimately the responsibility lies with the cheater or the monkey though - no argument there.

I always thought they get away with it so they keep doing it. When I hamster I get called out on it almost every time so I can see myself doing it now and can take responsibility for being a dick.

Why are the two mutually exclusive? Can't I be attractive and genuine?

Make the most of it. You have an opportunity to come out of that alpha as fuck. Make sure you keep your shit together and be at 25 what most guys want to be at 35. Also a lot of girls dont appreciate it but paying your own way is damn respectable.

I have the oneitis bad and am trying to get over it. If I could point to a single thing that set me back the most it was meeting my ex face to face 11 months after the break up. I hope you are not as bad as me because my oneitis sucks hard. I wish I had not done it. Also know that I probably could not have turned down the offer to get drinks. If you let oneitis fuck with your brain that much a girl can really become the most addictive thing you ever have to quit. And in my case it hurts because …

I think you're fucking up by analyzing the shit out of it. Quit planning moves. Quit trying to figure out what you should have done or how to fix something that doesn't sound broken. I think that you are giving her power and elevating her by worrying about this stuff. Do your thing. Maintain frame. Someone else should also jump in here as I'm hardcore recovering from oneitis and still see things a little weird. This is just my two cents.

You assume too much. I wasn't trying to defend you. I like interesting conversations a lot more when they don't start falling apart. And all caps is just stupid.

I disagree. Anyone can try to see the world as it really is. Restricting who can comment is as is as bad as caving to people who would restrict what can be said.
