I train myself personally and don't want to join sports clubs, where I think I would be undertrained or overtrained by some old goofball with a mustache. I'm also adamantly against going to clubs and hanging with the "common folks" aka who are boozed out or aimless in life.

There is nothing about this post that suggests that you socialize normally. Yes but I don't think the supply pool of people around me are very normal either. I wanted to become a junior powerlifting record breaker in my local country but I also got a good dose of lockdowns and other things happen to me. If I cannot relate my psyche to the world then I cannot adjust my ego accordingly. And it seems like a loophole, the more I talk how I'm going to do something, the more I do it, or the more I talk about a certain hobby (powerlifting) the more interested I become in it, and the more I find it easier to keep myself accountable. However, your general remark is correct.

Why are you trying to make friends on the internet. Just go outside and live your life in the real world mate. I don't relate to other people. And I don't have money to socialize in bars nor do I do drugs which everyone seems to be doing. Although I'm back in the gym after 2 years of lockdowns and combat related injuries.
