Depends on the person and the game. You should probably not choose a game that basically has no end, like WoW, LoL or whatever. In these games you can constantly improve and you keep wanting more. That's how you learn right. If you want an A and have enough time, write a summary of the book while reading it. The parts you immediately understand can be written in short, the parts you have a hard time understanding can be written in detail so that the summary is sufficient.
