Also, there's some research floating around that hormonal BC actually changes what women will select for in a mate. On BC, women are less likely to choose a male for his sexual attractiveness but rather things like financial stability. When people get off BC they are less attracted to their husbands and end up in a dead bedroom/divorce situation. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/birth-control-pills-affect-womens-taste/

Lol in datingoverthirty I see guys saying they need a woman to be sexual with them right away because "physical touch is my love language". But try that line with gifts and watch their head explode.

I definitely think people greatly underestimate the importance of dick size when it comes to a vaginal orgasm.

One time while we were having sex he completely out of nowhere spit in my face. I was in shock and asked him why the hell he did that. I honestly think I'd physically assault someone who did this to me. Not that it's a normal or healthy response and I'm not like "yeah girl beat his ass" but I can really see myself completely enraged and snapping over something like that.

Lots of therapy. You need someone who truly understands to listen to you. Just telling your story outloud to someone who actually knows how to listen will be very cathartic. There's something about hearing yourself say these things that helps clarify your path forward. You'll need to find a female therapist who specializes in sexual trauma and ptsd. Under NO circumstances see a male therapist. Don't do that to yourself, not only is it impossible for them to relate, you will potentially be openin…

if he has room mates or a small studio, I didn't say one thing about that and that isn't what the comment I responded to was about. OP's comment chooses furnishes their house with their personal pleasure being the primary consideration. So then I said rare for normal people to have a nicely designed home with good furniture and tasteful decor. Neither of these things has anything to do with living alone, roommates or studio apartments.

It's actually pretty rare for normal people to have a nicely designed home with good furniture and tasteful decor. Only rich-rich people or couples tend to have it. There are lots of people in this world who have never physically been in a space that nice besides maybe a hotel or restaurant.

Kinda in a similar vein, a while back I was browsing Psychology Today and they had a small article featuring an author who wrote about the evolutionary function of the emotional symptoms of PMS. She said that because we would have had to take care of children, if conditions weren't meeting our needs PMS would heighten our sensitivity to the problem to make us aware that it needs to be dealt with.

They are lost causes and insane, get away from them. There's no point in talking about it, if they were capable of rational thought that is not the conclusion they'd come to so nothing you respond with matters.

The next time that happens fill out an application to volunteer for a local non profit instead. But you don't need to feel worthless for this, you didn't do anything wrong or negative.

I would just pass on this one and not respond, personally.

Exactly. He's smarmy and full of shit. He has already dropped the "I'm so busy" mess and he's basically telling you that he logged onto tinder because he got horny.

The mods deleted two posts someone made trying to talk about Dirty John. She was asking how to be cautious and avoid getting conned but not overly cynical and they deleted it! Twice! That lady was a literal millionaire with her own company, she could have paid for a pi to do a background check and saved herself a lot of shit. Would have cost less than a month of rent, less than a designer bag.

The dating over thirty sub pushed me over the edge to completely stop dating for a while. What shocked me the most was just how much people are assuming things about others behavior and the total inability to just be plainly direct about their needs/feelings/questions. I end up copying and pasting what OP says right back to them saying, "just say this." And they're like, "oh but I dont want to seem..." okay well you are that neurotic so maybe the person you're dating should know? Or like, cut ou…

Because reddit is full of the people being "ghosted". They are completely lacking in self awareness so they think it's a cultural issue rather than them doing or saying something weird. Or sometimes it's nothing and people aren't vibing so the conversation just ends and that's it. I try explaining it with a real life example. If you're at a party or bar and just met someone you think is interesting and attractive but you realize they have crazy bad breath, meth teeth, say something really uncomf…

You're not punishing them by giving them attention is my point. They are trolling you for your attention and your reactions so when you call them out you're giving them what they want. You're rewarding them. You're not teaching them a lesson because they already know better.

Right. When you see them complain on the internet about never getting responses from women they are leaving out the part where they decide to resort to trolling just to get SOME acknowledgment that a woman knows they exist. It's sad. Feeling completely unseen and ignored is a terrible feeling and will drive people to desperation. But y'all gotta stop reinforcing with a response. Silence is the most effective thing you can "say" in these situations. Dick pics, negging, dirty messages - anything t…

I wish women would stop giving idiots like this any kind of response. The second they cross a line with you, IGNORE. Unmatch, block and delete. They want attention and saying something stupid is the only way to get it.

All I know is that when I see pictures of them together these days I just feel sick. He just looks like a creepy dirty old man next to her. She's remained beautiful and youthful and he has legitimately gotten so much worse looking and is just a clown. I'm not even a fan of her or her music but ugh, just a repugnant looking man. Plus he's extremely overrated, I hate his flow and his beats are mediocre at best despite all the nominations and hit singles. When they perform on stage together I feel …

Definitely get a female therapist. My male therapist was very helpful until he began flirting.

They are reminded they have no family of their own during the holidays. No wife or kids and they probably never will, think about how they could have had that with her but they fucked up.

It's really true, this is insightful for sure. They don't even actually have to be ugly to have these problems. If they feel they are they will develop this neurosis anyway. but secretly think that they CAN get the hot woman they think they deserve ( I think most of them have that perfect dream girl Weird Science problem. The bikini supermodel PhD with a pure heart of gold willing to date some regular ass dude. They are actually quite consciously aware of it since it's an active fantasy, if you …

This happened to me once, luckily he had a cramp RIGHT at the perfect moment and I took that as an opportunity to stop and say I wasn't ready for sex yet. We cuddled and talked for a while, he was a very sweet guy. Later I told him it wasn't going to work because he was too busy (which was true) and we had really incompatible lifestyles.

That is called projection. Ever noticed how exactly they try to copy each other on malelivingspace and malefashionadvice? I've seen them ask about which socks to buy and what artwork to put on their walls lol They also say women are catty and gossipy but they have nooooo idea how much shit their friends talk about them, especially to women, the second they leave the room.

I'm a huge advocate of a pre date phonecall. I spend too much time on datingoverthirty and the guys there, who are mostly loser redpill incel types, are quick to say, "I hate the phone, I'd never agree to that." That's your first clue you should definitely do a predate phone call. That being said, I've never had a guy turn me down for a phone call. I have had one guy ask for a video chat. I felt pretty awkward with that but it struck me as a great idea if you're worried about being catfished. I'…
