Discussion as far as where transgenders settle socially compared to their biological counterparts
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:52 PM
1

That's fair. I'm just curious personally how far the transgender conversation will go before settling on what it will be.

I said there are a lot of extremists in this community, not that not dating a trans woman is extreme. Just that there needs to be more discussion that has to happen
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:22 PM

This question implies the premise that transwomen and women are seen as equivalent. That depends on a LOT of factors and I think you would have wildly different answers depending on the crowd you ask. Here, I think your answer would largely be no, because there are a lot of extremists in this community and regardless of HOW they looked on the outside, knowing the other person is a transwoman drastically changes the dynamic of their relationship* (*depending on who the person is, it can be anyway…

I've not heard "who hurt you" in the context of a discussion about dating used as a joke. It's almost always been to dismiss or put down whoever they're saying it to.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:14 AM
3

They don't say that directly, but to push back, you definitely should have because the #1 response to most red pill talking points is "who hurt you??" Which implies the same thing as OP was talking about

I think it can be both. I did for a short time and I saw women who would lie to their bfs/husbands and do overall shady shit to hang out with me. I had one open up her marriage just to keep me as a FWB. That perspective is a bit more than just "growing up" to be fair. You eventually just no longer trust them. I think the reason it gets pushed off on women is because women have the easiest access to sex, so just by that ability they can see and experience these things more. Where they mess up is …

Well if that's the perspective you want insight on, I can't help you there. Though I again have to reiterate that I don't think most guys resonate with these positions expressed which was the impression that I got from your post.

Exactly. I wonder how much of this sub goes outside and talks to real people. IRL going off like that to anyone gets checked QUICK. it's why I can't relate to podcast bros.

I'm not a fan of the way this is asked, "seething hatred" is something that I don't think many guy actually feel, just a general dislike at worst for the most part. Seething hatred seems to imply something deeper than that. Being charitable, it's the same reason people don't want to date someone who was in their circle. It's clear you weren't their first choice. When a woman has a child with a man, even if she doesn't think so, to a degree it communicates that she's fully locked in to that man f…

OP as someone who spoke with a decent amount of women on this, the women you're dealing with have massive insecurities most likely. The reason it works is because a number of guys act this way and it's a devil they know. Most women that I've spoken to all understand and accept that a guy will be great, but it's not until they see his one fucked up side that they decide to let themselves go for a dude. So acting this way is familiar so they already know the risk involved with you (yeah he may mak…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 12:12 AM

I don't think many guys with high libido can afford a lifestyle that gold diggers want. Best case scenario I can understand how you'd think this would work. Just that I find it unlikely since they'd blow their money on going to TO GET women
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/24 09:06 PM

Maybe they like each other but are sexually incompatible? I could see this working in a ways (if only short term)

Masculine traits of being ambitious like the girlboss thing which was pushed heavily for a while and hyper independence. The tomboyish women tend to be softer and usually want a family. It's the wanting a family bit that draws the disgust of other women currently
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 05:30 PM
-4

Id argue feminism played a large part in the false narrative that masculinity in women was desirable. This isn't to say that TRP has it right either, just that the sort of tomboyish woman who wants to be a wife/mother gets called pickme and shamed out of conversations pretty quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 04:48 AM

One thing I think feminists and red pill dudes get right is that there are a LOT of bad/shitty people out there. I just don't think there's an easy way to sort through them.

That to me sounds like the vetting is working. If he can't be patient and put off something like sex, then that's not a good sign and you dodged a bullet
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 06:16 PM
1

If there was an easy answer I'd give it to you, but I would say that the first date is always the biggest risk, so you won't be able to tell immediately. I can suggest that being adamant about not sleeping with a guy until he agrees to an EXCLUSIVE relationship would be a good way to start. Now some people jump into a relationship after a few weeks, so it may not help everyone, but assuming you're not rushing into a relationship that's a safe way to vet for interest.

Red pill WAS about understanding women, but the algorithm and vocal majority of the most popular figureheads has transformed it into feminism, but for men. Channels that try to offer actual solutions get attacked and people who try and promote the idea that maybe men should do some self moderation for the comfort of women get called beta, simp, and cucks. Sadly as of 2024, you are in the minority, friend.

What facts? You provided nothing in your statement. You've provided speculation based on...?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 12:12 PM
5

I'm hoping there's less of an egregious example because that one you gave sounds like an "I'm not interested in you" and would result in a lot of guys walking away because the type of date isn't something even women agree upon, some women will reject dinner dates because their idea of vetting is "a dinner date is the bare minimum, he has to do MORE"
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 11:58 PM
1

I think your post would have been better suited if you targeted it towards red pill men. Everything you outlined only begs the question if you're approaching a relationship from a red pill perspective. Non RP guys don't believe cheating is right, or justifiable.

NotSoErudite and I think to a lesser degree HealthyGamerGG both spoke on how Therapy fails men Because of a systemic bias about diagnosing men. Not to mention that psychotherapy as a practice helps women more than men for multiple reasons and that the way many men communicate in a way that therapists are not trained to understand, results in therapy making a lot of men not feel heard or gain much benefit from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 12:10 AM

To be fair, women shame each other for sleeping around more than men do in my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 11:55 PM

I really like that perspective and I agree that there's a lot of subcategories within each. I really like your thought process! Though I have to ask, how does resenting women and having traditional views on gender roles contradict valuing women while also having traditional views on gender roles? I think I'm missing something here
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 11:51 PM

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. It's frustrating since I figured we could have used this to learn about a different perspective, but I guess it's expected

If you can't steelman an argument, how are you so sure you understand it then?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 02:05 PM

My point is to see who is engaging in good faith, if people aren't listening in the first place they miss the whole picture , forget about the granular details.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 02:04 PM
3

That's a fair thing to struggle with, especially since people repeat the same things. I struggle the same way. I had to pull back just to give myself more time patience. That said, it makes connecting harder because of it. I just wanted to understand who here is engaging in good faith

I'm glad you stressed "good faith" too many times people just don't engage with the other in good faith. That's the other issue

This is just a lazy take. The reason red pill is intriguing and draws men in is because it was one of the first places that men can go to and feel heard and validated, especially because when it got popular was around the time that the popular online narrative was something along the lines of "men bad, women good" or did you forget about how bad 2015 was? Even to this day men can't bring up a legitimate issue or grievance they have with women without people's brains turning off and ignoring all …
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 03:23 PM

I have no idea what someone being a net neutral even implies. I'm talking about the response to my genuine acts of being kind overall have been indifferent
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 09:16 PM

Jeez man you really are sounding like the reddit debate bot lol. He's communicating that you are trying to present an extreme as a solution which has its own set of issues. I'm with you on not lying about what love and a relationship are to kids, but I am not with you on the decision to make kids into ruthless sociopaths either.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 05:34 PM

in my experience, my kindness has been a net neutral at best. In some cases it works against me because they assume I'm either naive or I secretly have romantic intentions with the people I'm being nice to. So I have to share my experiences because I just do not share that same experience. Maybe it works for initial attraction, but it just does not lead to anything after the "hello"

Unfortunately TRP as of 2024 is exactly what you're not describing. I actually enjoyed reading the stuff from earlier red pill, but unfortunately it's all Rollo based, and it's exactly how you describe. It's why I can't get with it since now the popular (you can argue the loudest) representation of the red pill ARE those people. It makes me wonder if feminism had the same thing happen to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 04:38 PM

Your battle is clearly with yourself because I've never seen a man on here maliciously misinterpret someone like you do. Maybe you should switch your flare to pink pill?

To your last part, I disagree. Women for sure demand that men make more. I've had dates that she went STONE cold after finding out what I did because it didn't seem like a job that makes money. Not just one, MULTIPLE dates
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 08:11 PM
17

Yes, but let's be honest, the popular opinion and the SOCIALLY REINFORCED perspective is that men HAVE to care about women. Period. The protect women narrative isn't a call to action for everyone, it's mainly to get men to act.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 08:07 PM
3

Well again, this seems like something an external source will NOT fix. The work has to be done internally, the red pill has this same issue where they think fucking lots of women will fix their insecurities
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 08:39 PM

I'm sorry being instructed to look up things was offensive to you. However you are ENTIRELY blind to how you come off, like what was pointed out to you earlier where you contribute nothing to my later comment calling it a false equivalence, incorrectly might I add, which gives me the impression that you're not going to engage me in good faith.

Irony. Unnoticed.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 05:48 PM

I understand your empathy but being entirely honest why is it on the men to have to understand the distinction between a big frame and being overweight? The end result is the same, they don't find it attractive. This is something each woman needs to take ownership of to dress better.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 04:38 PM
4

We'd have to see how you put yourself together. Some bigger women dress well or carry it well so it doesn't look as bad. Though dropping weight can make your proportions look better, maybe that's what he's talking about?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 04:14 PM
4

I think the distinction between irl and online men is a bit overblown. The only difference is online relationships and rapport build slowly. Also the volume of men who see a woman I would argue is more but it happens fast and quietly. This results in a lot more men (and women) deciding if they find a woman attractive than it seems, BUT being able to quickly build rapport might nullify a negative impression. Also men do care about weight and looks, just that the bar for both with just sex isn't a…

Do you want to actually engage in the discussion? It just is what it is and there really isn't anything else to add.

It's funny because men need to vet women too, they have the same issue and it's absurd that it's only now been a thing
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 03:17 PM
22

This sounds well and good, but the issue is these women aren't the only ones giving this advice. You have men also echoing this because they want to delude themselves into thinking that's not what's happening. While you have a point to avoid women's advice like this, I don't think it's particularly helpful because it's the popular opinion. Instead what's worked for me is actually pushing back on women and seeing how they respond to me when challenged. That's how I managed to find my now girlfrie…

A house is considered a shared asset IIRC, and depending on the state, when you buy it doesn't matter
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:27 AM
2

That too, though vetting SHOULD mitigate that, but I also think men aren't much better than women at choosing partners because we're told to take whoever is willing... That aside even if you're able to do so, the pressure to sustain that by myself is a bit much. I just don't think from the way the economy is being traditional would be the best route unfortunately.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:28 PM
5

It's a nice theory but I very much doubt traditionalism works in the west with how things are. You're gonna force yourself into a position where you have to make enough to support a family by yourself and I don't think you want to put that kind of requirements on yourself. Or maybe you do.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:10 PM
17

"all men"? You didn't talk to me
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:09 AM

Eeeh I think it looks worse because women aren't shamed for acting out like men are as consistently. The result is the entitled behavior when rejected if she's been told she "deserves" whatever she wants. Usually the more attractive women are like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 08:08 PM
1

Okay, but then I need to understand the reasoning behind why someone would be obligated to pay for an investment that their benefit is tertiary in the best case. Because to me it seems like these type of people should also invoice their friends they go out with or bosses if they use the makeup at work
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 02:17 PM
1

Yup, and it that's how you think about it, what's the point in agreeing to go out? It just makes these kinds of people looks weird and ruin the dating experience for those who are genuine
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 02:12 PM
2

Do I get to tell her what to wear and what if any makeup to wear? How much control do I have over what she can do during the date? We can start from there That aside this stance is very weird and reeks of disinterest. If you're already anticipating losing out unless you're compensated for your time, then I don't want to go out with you and I don't advise women to date anyone if this is how they feel going into it
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 01:42 AM
1

I did not know that about the history, but I know exactly who you're talking about hahaha
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:16 PM
2

True, true... It sucks because the red pill started out with some compelling arguments and valid claims. You can say the same about feminism too.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:02 PM
3

That's exactly what I've noticed. Just that you can argue with people all day about your ideologies, but if they go against what you want, you'll have to make a choice on which is more important to you
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 05:02 PM
3

It's already starting to mellow out, some of the most staunch feminists I know are starting to chill while the others continue the downhill trend. Now it's the red pill's turn
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 04:49 PM

Doesn't that give credit to his original claim that no man he's known is a fan of rape- and now pedophilia that you've introduced it? Because no sane person would openly tell even their closest friend that they were maybe more pushy with their hookup or maybe their latest hookup was under 18, they just say "bro I hooked up". However when we talk about women, the age factor, even in my multiple circles across the country now ALL keep each other in check when we think someone is sexualizing someon…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 03:53 PM

"call your woman a lying traitor" is a dramatic reaction to wanting a paternity test to me. There are a number of reasons why a man might want to have that test done that aren't necessarily about the woman. Maybe having it on paper is just something he personally wants or he has an insecurity about it even though he's 99% sure she's faithful. People are allowed to be irrational from time to time, it's what being human is. Just gotta remember that not everyone's decisions that are related to you …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 03:18 PM

This right here is why men are reluctant to speak to women. The overreaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:39 PM

I don't think so. For context, then the "1 in 4 women..." Thing should be a national crisis if , 1 in 50 is.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:36 PM

That's because a lot of them are too busy looking for more stats to throw at women lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:33 PM

You can, but even my more agreeable ex was upset when she thought she was pregnant and I was like "well, first thing let's get an ultrasound, second thing I want a paternity test"
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:32 PM

This might be the most sensible answer I've seen in this sub. I'll also add that people actually don't want advice. They just want to feel validated. Hence why the easy quick and sexy answers work for everyone even though it's clearly not right.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 08:49 PM
3

I swear I feel like I'm talking to a red pill fanatic...
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 10:17 PM
3

That is not what I am pushing back on. I am pushing back on this specific scenario you gave: "You sir are part of the problem if your child is having a NG tub inserted and might die (I saved the gory details on the previous post) and you are stoned face" Now if you want to change it to someone who doesn't cry at all, then we can talk about that, but that's hard for me to visualize because there are very few people I'm around that I can see them in a situation where most people would cry.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 09:26 PM
4

Well when you say "You are the problem" and "You are a robot", I don't think you can say you're not policing people when you're making pretty harsh judgments based on them not responding how you deep to be acceptable. People are different. Doesn't matter what is happening, you can't demand people respond to a situation all the same way and take away their humanity if you don't agree with their response.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 09:09 PM
6

Shock can't be an acceptable response? Some people the reality of the situation doesn't hit them in the moment
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 08:26 PM
1

The problem is that line is subjective. If you only had 2 partners, some might treat it as essentially a virgin. Anything under 5 actually I'd say a guy is best not sharing his body count because it'll turn some women away
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 10:38 PM
1

I don't think the types of guys matter. I've met some great women who had a promiscuous past and I'm betting more women than they're willing to admit have one at this point. So the determining factor is if she's actually committed to being faithful to me which based on her history isn't looking good. Means after a while she's gonna get bored and look elsewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 10:35 PM

I mean... Can anyone confirm? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 07:17 PM

You've just given me an amazing quote that I plan on using later.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 06:45 PM

I haven't? I'm sorry I'm not the redditor you think I am
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 02:46 AM

Well I'm assuming based on your posts, it's something pretty inflammatory. Looking at you're posts, I'm assuming you're actually on the opposite side of what red pillers are on, meaning your algorithm won't show you women being generally shitty people. You're actually the opposite side of things, but you're just as much a victim of content drift as red pillers. Not judging, I just hope we can continue to talk in good faith
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 02:22 AM

... I'll be honest, I have no idea what "the inkwell community" is even referring to. I've never heard that before in my life
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 02:17 AM

I think this is a solid demonstration of what I'm talking about. https://youtu.be/qVKvEaokV6I If you pay attention, a lot of these aren't just a few hundred likes, they're in the thousands. It's pretty common. Bear on mind this in response to how statistically speaking, men are suffering socially.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 02:14 AM

Tiktok, FB, Twitter, ect. In general you're kind of subject to your algorithm, but you are a very lucky soul if you managed to avoid the mass brainrot of the internet for that long. Personally I've seen countless posts about how women straight up hate men and Tiktoks of women mistreating men that have massive support because "men deserve it" or the weird "Kill baby boys" phenomenon. I don't support either one, but it's not out of nowhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 02:04 AM

Reposting because of my flair It's because since 2013 the opposite direction of hate went unchecked. This is just the pendulum swinging in the opposite way I would bet. Granted, "Me too" also boosted support for the comments, but if we're talking JUST online and on social media, there's only so much hate at you(even indirectly) that people can brush off before saying "screw it" and no longer caring about hurting people. In a word, catharsis. Justified or not

/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 12:38 AM

This kind of framing is weird and cultish.. However I understand the intent. I've known something was off with women since I was 13, my older sister would lead on guys who were clearly interested in her, but didn't know about it. I just knew I didn't want to date a woman who acted like her. That being said, it's not a matter of being chose, you just realize dating DOESN'T work how women try to tell you it does, because women aren't forthcoming in most situations where they care about the respons…

First, ChatGPT as a source is very flawed, it can't even get my math homework right, so I wouldn't go based off those numbers. However if we're gonna go by your numbers, then I think that you misunderstand that while men prefer not to date a woman with a child who's not overweight, it's very clear that men are more flexible with these preferences than women. Now women are more flexible within the dynamics of the relationship, and I mean that they're more willing to tolerate more negative behavio…

Respectfully, I think you're not thinking outside of your immediate circle of women you know. There are JUST as many men who bring a lot to a relationship and given how the reaction when women are asked "what do you bring to the table?" Is something like "why are you asking me this?", most commonly women feel like they don't have to do anything in a relationship and that we should adapt to their needs. Yes, but in my experience most of these types definitely aren't the most attractive. There are some, but they also just have awful personalities, so when they started going on about feminism and killing male babies I was not at all surprised. I'm talking about my own circles btw.

I think on social media and on podcasts, it's more common, but in general my experience from me dating is that there are some(a good 50%) women who expect me to have everything all together and have my own house and make over $100k or have some kind of fun lifestyle full of travel. Yeah I'd like to get there, but even compared to them I make more than most of them and have better hygiene because they all comment on how clean I keep my place. On top of being in good shape…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/24 07:13 PM

Oh yeah lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 03:33 AM

Unfortunately yeah. I just commented for me in school I only knew of 2 guys, both hate me for not taking their shit, and both really weird that nobody liked in school. I think today the issue is social media makes it worse like everything else. Personally I really think if you talk bad about your own race you look even worse. There's no justification for you smearing your own race to other races.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:44 AM

Yeah I hard dislike a certain pair of podcasters for them being overly racist against black women. The online element makes it worse, but if it helps my school experience there were 2 guys like that as far as black nerds go. They were both REALLY weird and both hate me because I wouldn't take their shit. Both nobody really likes either. I think it's hard to talk about it because of how layered the topic is, but I guess we'll have to talk about one to talk about the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:38 AM

Haha I grew up in the burbs, but I've always been tangential to the hood so I've kept a proximity. On both sides of the fence I think my only experience is that a LOT of the nerdy black girls didn't care for me. I was too dark, and they preferred the Chris Brown types at the time. It's changed a bit, but I just think it's funny hearing them go off sounding like how the dudes do on this topic. I figured we could use this topic to try and get women to understand that perspective a little bit more,…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:28 AM

In a way yeah, it's just an all encompassing term for a woman's preferred guy. At least as I understand it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:24 AM

Yeah, this is my understanding of how people the term now.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:22 AM

That's because it's fun dating black women! I've had the most fun overall dating a black women so I get why haha.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:22 AM

Gonna have to push back against the first part, I can't say all because I can't account for all, but I'd comfortably say the popular comments regarding black nerds is that the women aren't into black guys. It's my experience. Also by nature of them being nerds they inherently subvert the stereotype. However at least 50% of the black women who were nerds in my experience are not into black guys. I entirely challenge you there. I think you can also argue the same thing about the women in that vide…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:20 AM

I'm not sure where I fall. I had a few black women I would have dated if I didn't move around as much as I had. Ah well. Maybe I'm one of the more attractive nerds, but being nerdy was only a small hurdle that honestly NON black women were more turned off by but I agree, sadly I see responses here that seem to refuse to acknowledge possibly being mistaken somewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:04 AM

Did you encounter any issues regardless?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:00 AM

Yeah I just didn't expect to find a compilation of women saying the same things I hear in the red pill. My question is, given that you seem to understand the women's side of things, and assuming that the men who say similar things are also in a similar situation, would you say you have a bit more understanding or sympathy for the guys who sound like these women?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 01:41 AM

See this is what I DIDN'T want the post to be about. I said it in the beginning. It's just that the things they say sound EXACTLY like the stuff the guys say about women. So apparently there might be a scenario where women experience something like what the guys do and have the same reaction because all this could be interchangeable with "Chad" and I don't know if you'd feel the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 01:36 AM

I mean it all sounds to me like what the guys say about the women who are attractive, but curves him because of some arbitrary reason. They say the exact same things. I just wish I had a red pill compilation to compare it to
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 01:22 AM

The more I find out about what guys do from my women friends, the more I dislike guys. HOWEVER the more I try to date women, the less I like women. Basically I think there's just not enough accountability across the board because people want popcorn solutions to complex psychology issues. If you ask me, there's GLARING issues that both men and women are guilty of indulging in, but neither side wants to accept their part and it's annoying. A lot of these complex topics require as much if not more…

You're misunderstanding what I'm saying. Do you think that it's possible that there might be men this method WON'T work with?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/24 09:44 AM

So your whole post is just a reworded form of the old advice "there's someone for everyone"? I feel like it's worse because you're trying to convince the percentage of men who aren't attractive that they'll get the 8s, 9s, and 10s they want. I just don't think that's going to be reasonable for a larger percentage of men than you think

To some degree I can side with you, however there's a point between that, and blatantly lying to people or letting someone you supposedly care about live in a lie for that purpose. It's the opposite extreme of what you're talking about. I don't think you're blind to this.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/24 04:12 AM

I don't consider myself super attractive, but I do notice that through my 20s til now that after we hook up, the women I hook up with tend to move on to another guy to date or just disappear for months. If it's not the typical guy issues of being invested in a woman who has other guys she's with, then it's that typically. Maybe there's something wrong with me? I dunno.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/24 03:27 AM

I half agree? Your description kinda sounds like some weirdos who are single for a reason, but the cool thing about female friends is you don't have to worry about pissing them off. You do not have to care because you're not trying to date them. The one thing that I also had dealt with was one woman I was friends with also stopped talking to me when I didn't help her out. I have run into a lot of women who only seem to stick around when they want something from me than men. That being said the f…

I'm gonna inject myself for a bit, but the general opinion I see circulating online is that the expectation is that courting doesn't end after the relationship, they want MORE after the relationship. Now that could be the terminally single minority screaming, but it certainly gives me the impression like women's expectations is that as a man, we have to constantly have to be bigger and better otherwise they'll go to another guy that's willing to take them to paris on the first date. Just an exag…

I really like this comparison. People need to see this more and I think it makes the most sense. I suppose the only pushback I could provide is the implication that it's done actively or with intent. A lot of the times when they raise the issue, I can see it being just off the radar for various reasons (the partner is the one who complains a lot, the way it was brought up came off as too playful, etc) and even in the moment, it wasn't treated with the proper importance their words might convey b…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/24 01:28 AM

I don't know about this one. When a woman really likes you, she's gonna always be getting you small things. One of my exes would come by my job with lunch if I told her I forgot, she would come over when I was sick to take care of me, come by with random stuff for my place too, and she was all around super supportive. Definitely loved giving love.

All I'll say is I've had some pretty terrible stuff happen to me that while not life threatening, I heard women. Talk about happening to them and receive outpouring support. I've tried opening up about it and I regret it every time. So I don't.

The red pill of 2020 and maybe 2018+ has been ruined with commercialization and grifters capitalizing on the outrage. I don't see how anyone can openly back the movement anymore because it's no longer about raising awareness of men's issues, it's just complaining about women or modern society. The most staunch supporters also tend to be good at avoiding accountability where men can improve or fuck up. All of this over the last 4 years just ruins all credibility of the red pill which is unfortuna…

It's not, but it is an entirely misguided metric to use for selecting someone you would date. All you would have to look at would be his lifestyle. Salary is such a small piece of it that you would miss so many otherwise good people just because you didn't like something that fluctuates constantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/23 02:31 AM

So you want a guy who makes a lot of money, but not too much. He has to spend money on luxury and expensive gifts on you, but if he does it too much, that's shady. I feel like the things you're selecting for are just making things harder on yourself than you realize.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/23 02:27 AM

At that time yeah. Different experiences change how they would appreciate different qualities. It's likely enough that I would argue it's worth considering, but with how people are now, it's unlikely. Now if they still see you as "the safe choice" then yeah I'm not with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 10:14 PM

I disagree. You see it all the time with people who are given multiple choices. You apply for jobs, but when you get an offer, you're always looking for the next best thing. You can see it with sports too, when it's time for teams to draft players fans, not even coaches, are like "this guy has been good, but let's find someone better..." It's how people are. Personally I don't care as long as how I'm treated is good and genuine.

I noticed that with Vietnamese men, they aren't getting as much attention for some reason

I'll be honest, it's partially venting from me on the topic, only because I noticed that it skews the numbers when the topic of dating preference based on race comes up. Just a very specific type of black man women enjoy, anything else I'd be confident saying is probably the bottom of the charts
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 11:07 PM

That's not the compliment you think it is. When searching for a relationship as a black man, the fetishization of us has lead to the mentality among women that I think I only heard the Asian woman on the view say. So if a black man isn't the sexual god in a woman's eyes, he's a joke or weirdo. At least a non-tradional guy from another race can be seen as cute or something.

I wouldn't call it promiscuity. It's something that both men and women do presented with multiple opportunities in any given situation. Most people would be indecisive and want to get the best of everything. The issue is they don't have the discipline or insight or both to be able to notice or understand what what they want and what would be a viable solution for them long term. However, they recklessly make decisions that only benefit themselves in the moment and then try to lie or justify it a…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:57 PM

You do know that a lot of the smartest people had really bad vices? I don't know why you decided to bring IQ into this, but it doesn't make the case against alcohol. You could say it makes it stronger in a ways. I understand that scientifically and if you're going to be pragmatic about it, yes people shouldn't drink period, but you ignore the psychological aspect of needing to unwind mentally. Stress also kills too and it's worse.

If I can provide some insight, I can't speak to the entitlement aspect, but there is a preference for the look of a younger woman, but the plan to shoot for a 30+ year old woman is because by then most women have made their mistakes (assuming no children, GENERALLY of course) and can see the value of a man who is more predictable and stable. Hopefully that makes sense to you

I will say, I do agree that women sleeping around indiscriminately is reflective of a human thing, your comparing men's goals to a NSFW subreddit is not great. You skewed your sample to guys who would only want to hookup just from where you were looking. Dating apps would be better.

Yeah I don't see how men having self worth would fix this issue. If they have equal self worth to women, you'll see what we have now where women think those men are arrogant or hate women. What has to happen is women with overly inflated self worth need a reality check, but currently only other women are able to do that without suffering social backlash. Some women are doing it, but surprise surprise suddenly "pick me" is a popular term now...

as women tend to (not always) have more supporting social circles, supporting groups, and so on. Where as the unattractive men do not. This needs to be talked about more. Men don't have these and when we do, it's seen as some sort of affront to women. Even the early red pill (ignoring what it became) was demonized even though it had and has valid criticisms of how men are treated. It all gets ignored because it's for men and society believes men don't need any support.

I think your examples are bad, but yeah I think that a lot of people who are really into therapy conflate articulating their feelings with being "emotionally intelligent" and that makes sense to me because there's been a recent spotlight on emotional intelligence. What's an easy way to signal that? SOUNDING like you understand emotions.

As a concept, feminism isn't to blame, but like many popular things, people's misinterpretation of feminism did make men approaching women more of a tricky thing to do. That combined with the pendulum swing towards helping women, has us in a weird spot where it's almost as if you can't even say something that might sound like it opposes women. A great example of this is when suicide rates get brought up, almost every time you'll get a response like "well women attempt it more!" And then you're d…

Hot take, I think that you just have to adapt to what You're given. Does it suck as a guy? Yeah, but it is what it is. Either adapt by lowering your standards and accepting what you can do, fight to become the top guy and have your pick, leave, or play the game. The idea of men being lonely because women who want nothing to do with them won't date them is funny enough better for men because now that's less men in shitty relationships they won't leave because they can't get any pussy otherwise. To some degree. My annoyance is when women demand more while having little to nothing to offer in return as a spouse. Both need to improve, but the lies that women don't need to change and that they can complain and shame men into accepting what they don't like is what bothers me personally.
