I was in a similar situation. I was generous and drafted it up per a verbal agreement my exwife and I made. She cheated and was abusive. As soon as the cops hauled her ass out of my house, which she called them acting as if I was the aggressor, after assaulting me… she wanted much more than she deserved and/or drafted. I eventually said take it or leave it. My thoughts were… if I’m going to give up thousands more, might as well spent it on an at fault divorce. I’d rather see her get multiple cha…

I would definitely protect yourself. My ex started throwing books at me and became violent after telling her I knew she was cheating. I never hit her, yet she called the cops like I was the aggressor. Long story short, I had marks from her punching me and the books, she didn’t because I never hit her when the cops arrived. Cops hauled her ass out and placed a charge on her. Cheater will try to fuck you over and the eye in the sky don’t lie.

I know, I was just clarifying. So when she called the cops, the cops actually took her and charged her. The judge granted me possession of my home. She filed a bogus restraining order after I had one & then filed an extension. At the time I was served the restraining order, I placed another assault charge on her to show her to stop playing games. Oh I am. I filed after she tried calling the cops saying I was the aggressor. I then extended it and had a hearing today for why I wanted it extended. I don’t know if I can dispute the first charge and she already swore under oath she initiated the same charge against her. I recorded a separate incident in February where she was the aggressor and charged her with that. I have the recording for the February incident. Do you know the statue of limitations for reporting protective order violations?
