Aye, I guess it boils down to whether you value the preservation of a public forum like this or being able to express your ideas without worrying about the consequences. I agree, self-censorship because of outside pressure is kinda disturbing, but...I'm not even sure where I'm going with this. Shit...

I keep flip-flopping between entertaining the notion and giving up before things really go anywhere. It's just not worth the effort at times.

Sounds like a concept that's been around since forever

Just throwing in my two cents into the mix here. It's probably because, like with a lot of people in general, they like the fantasy of an LTR without wanting to put in the actual effort of maintaining one. If they rationalize that the relationship just didn't work out, they get to keep fantasizing about the possibility of one without admitting to themselves their true socially unacceptable intentions.

It becomes overrated when it becomes the sole factor with which society judges the success of your life upon. Can't or won't find love? Clearly this individual is defective and deserves to be cast out of the tribe like all the other defective units. It's disheartening how such a subjective and personal emotion has become a requirement for basic respect and appreciation.

Aye, I feel you man. Used to feel the same way in high school and now in university. Good luck with improving yourself and stuff!

Aye, never quite thought of self-actualization as a more complex manifestation of a biological need brought upon by years worth of evolution.

Gaming, going out of my way to find interesting/niche films to watch, messing with Bionicle parts to make something halfway decent, and playing Yugioh. Might find something more physical to do once I get to a point in my life where I can afford to do it.

Oh yeah for sure. I'm still trying to cut back on that habit myself. I kinda admit, I sometimes get too carried away at times. Luckily, I've been able to stick to the tamer side of porn. I stay away from anything that involves more than one person and just stick to solo strip-teases, so I don't think I've let my own desires escalate uncontrollably or anything.

Not only that but you also should probably use general terms and ideas rather than resorting to internet buzzwords to get your message across. Like, even if those buzzwords accurately describe what you're trying to convey, they have a bad rep and would most likely turn off whoever you're trying to discuss this shit with.

Plus there's the implication that the main character, Rick Dolton, made a poor decision to settle down with an italian woman he barely knew.

I spent it watching the entire Spy Kids trilogy with a couple of buds while getting blitzkrieged on ganja. One of the best Christmases ever.

Not a lot of people feel secure with themselves and think settling down with a partner is the only course of action to stave off potentially crippling loneliness.

Virtual Light is a pretty sik Cyberpunk novel. The way William Gibson can effortlessly switch between low-class casual and extravagant prose gives the retro-future setting a very immersive quality to it.

Mom hardly ever listened to anything my dad suggested when it came to raising me. Kept getting into heated arguments and soon divorced when I was 5. Mom got custody, letting my dad see me on alternating weekends. Did shit behind my dad's back with the rationale that it was in my best interest. Turns out what she did actually stunted my emotional and social development. Ever since the divorce my dad got completely sucked dry with all the constant alimony and child support payments. Now he lives i…

On the other hand the acquaintances you make are superficial at best. Honestly that's the most depressing part. I'm surprised I've been able to make close friendships with some of my peers despite myself. Even then, if they knew my entire interpretation of our current society and my true way of seeing things, then I'm afraid they'll just abandon me. I know they're decent people who are deeper than what their social media lets on, but man it hurts to know I can't completely reveal myself like tha…

Aye, I will admit, most Doomers haven't directly experienced anything as messed up as the 2008 recession or the 9/11 attacks (unless they lost a loved one to the latter or experienced some extremely personal trauma neither of us know about, but that's more of an individual thing). However, that wasn't quite my point. I was comparing doomers to the rest of this current generation's young adults. While I can't advocate for every single Doomer in existence, whatever widespread nihilistic depression…

Aye, I think there's a shallow pessimism which placates the general youth, at least the ones that I see in University. They'll pretend to be all doom and gloom when it suits them, but they're ultimately well-adjusted. Doomers are something different though. They've actually gazed into the abyss with no one to pull them out.

Currently thinking of dropping out of my University because I'm trying to learn more about making films, but most classes only cover theory that's deeply entrenched in gynocentrism. I shit you not, I remember distinctly one student raising his hand to relate the Joker movie to Trump and white supremacy, and our professor just sorta rolled with it. I swear to christ it was so surreal to see a living NPC meme in action. Only two courses actually involve practice in film making, and I've already ta…

/r/MGTOW227/11/19 03:09 AM

Aye, Doomers are basically guys in their 20s who've become disillusioned with our current societal trajectory. Some are even victims of it, living in squalor because they don't fit society's fetish for diversity quotas or female empowerment. However, unlike Incels, they don't lash out at society, and, unlike MGTOW, they don't try and take back any agency they lost. They're too afraid to live, but they're also too afraid to die. They kind of embody nihilism and depression.

I don't think those who identify as incels came up with the term. It's just that people who observed their behavior mistook that as an example of "Toxic Masculinity" when in fact, as you said, they weren't masculine at all.

Eh, I think I passed a shit test this one time earlier this year by complete accident. Essentially, this one chick in my European History class that I knew via a mutual friend asked me in a cute, playful voice to fill up her bottle of water outside the lecture hall. I was just really tired and out of it and I thought she was offering me some water or some shit. I nonchalantly said, "No thanks," before sitting down. I haven't made it to that age yet, but I don't know if I'd want to or not. Like, it's not like I didn't fit into high school or anything, and I've managed to keep a fairly positive reputation despite myself. Yo, I can't confirm 100% because I can't go that far back on my own comment history, but some of this text sounds verbatim like a comment I posted earlier this year. Not making accusations or anything, but while reading this I got this surreal vibe that someone just transcribed a chunk of one of my old comments onto this post before adding some of their own bits. I probably sound like I'm butthurt and up my own ass about this, but I dunno, this just kinda seems a little suspicious is all.

Aye, still in college actually. I've partied my fair share despite my introverted nature. Never really dated or hooked up though. I tried to when I was still on the blue pill, but I admit most of my failures were on me given how I went about it all wrong. Kept placing the women I was attracted to on pedestals and got too clingy whenever the mere prospect of getting with someone felt like it was in sight. My physique. It's not that I'm skinny, but rather that my upper body is small and skinny while my lower body looks more developed. Like, most of my height comes from my legs rather than my torso, and a lot of my natural strength comes from my legs as well. The problem is that this just kinda looks weird. Like, I can't quite wear skinny people clothes because it makes my legs stand out too much, but I can't wear regular clothes without my upper body looking like it belongs to a literal child. I'v…

Oi, oi, my dude; give the guy a break, eh? The incel narrative is so rampant on various media you don't even have to be on the internet for very long to figure out what an incel is. It doesn't help that some media tends to rope MGTOW in with incels as if they were virtually the same thing. r/MGTOW and r/Inceltears tend to confound this notion even if it's unintentional. It's not the guy's fault that it's hard to find decent info on MGTOW without sifting through all the junk first.

Oi vey that doesn't sound too great. I think a somewhat productive thing to do would be to ask her hard-hitting questions that don't come across as personal attacks or anything. It's clear that you don't show any sexual interest, which means that you're not afraid to have real conversations about shit that don't feed her ego or anything. I keep flipping back-and-forth with this clarity because sometimes the subjects of my observations can radically change in behavior. There's an inconsistency that kinda keeps me from fully committing to the monk-mode mentality. Though I'm not sure if it stems from a genuine benefit of doubt or if that's just my neanderthal DNA kicking in and telling me to go screw anything that moves. One of my female friends, for instance, can actually sustain thoughtful conversations concerning film and televi…

Aye, fair enough. I guess at this point you gotta be able to differentiate the bad players from the good players, as I'm personally okay with helping the good players understand what the philosophy is beyond the scope of rigged google searches.
/r/MGTOW217/08/19 03:57 PM
1

Aye, aren't some of the google search results kinda skewed though? If I recall, some of the first few articles that pop up use biased language that ends up antagonizing the philosophy. Wouldn't it make more sense to go to a more direct source that advertises itself as a place that encourages civil discussion about the topic?

Aye, shite, it's those primal instincts that end up influencing our judgement aboot this kind of stuff. And I'm not even talking about the sex shit. I'm talking about that integral part of our nature that forces us to be more forgiving or protective of certain types of people more than others. I can even sense it happening with myself from time to time. That protective instinct kicks in, and I'll end up congratulating a female friend for doing something that I wouldn't give a rat's ass about if …

Especially considering people tend to sense the underlying motives behind certain behaviors. It's hard to "feign indifference" without just coming across as secretly insecure, which is probably the reason why someone would be feigning indifference anyway. There's subtle cues and signals that you subconciously send that mean the difference between genuous and disingenuous intentions.

Aye, I'd argue that Walter White wasn't an anti-hero though. He was just as villainous as Gus, Tuco, and Hector; we merely saw his perspective as he crossed that line. Furthermore, while our modern anti-heroes are ultimately rewarded for their actions, Walter White was usually punished hard. We weren't supposed to worship him; we merely had to gaze into the abyss with him and see how that can truly mess someone up. Same with Tony Soprano and the new Joker played by Joaquin Phoenix. They're clear…

Your comment about the increase in shallow worship of flawed individuals got me thinking about all those compilation videos of celebrity's acting all quirky and shit. I think an incel's toxic personality stems from a viscous cycle of assumptions and misunderstandings that slowly erodes away at whatever good personality traits they may have had in the past. An incel can start out with basic human empathy and compassion, but as his life progresses and his inability to find a relationship becomes more apparent, people around him will begin to assume, even on a subconscious level, that they need to stay away from him. This could manifest as suddenly becoming unco…

I think confidence also comes naturally to people who developed it throughout their childhood in an environment that either encouraged their predisposition towards that attribute or forced it out of them through harsh conditions and obstacles. If you didn't develop confidence in that manner, then you can't just suddenly force your personality to do a 180 without coming across as disingenuous, overcompensating, and arrogant.

I think it depends a lot on how you go about travel. Like, if you plan to explore every inch of a country that piques your interest, to the point that you stray outside of the usual tourist destinations, then it will definitely be a worthwhile experience. However, I do agree that traveling to different places and staying in those tourist comfort spots and hotels kinda makes the whole concept kinda shallow.

You can try and warn him, but honestly the best way to let someone know that the stove is hot is to let themselves burn their finger trying to touch it.
/r/MGTOW212/07/19 04:42 PM
1

I'm going to guess it stems from a misguided sense of empathy. Some people may hate the idea of living and dying alone, so they probably hate to see someone else going through something like that. Furthermore, it's difficult for people to truly understand the perspectives and feelings of other individuals, so they can easily misinterpret one's affinity for solitude as coping mechanism to avoid the pain of loneliness.
/r/MGTOW209/07/19 06:39 PM

Oi, not to sound like a dick or anything, but isn't this type of post sorta what contributed to turning the og sub into an echo chamber devoid of constructive conversations? /r/MGTOW225/06/19 04:53 AM

Aye, it's good to avoid that stuff, but even if you were looking for someone, it'd be best to stay away from a patient. I dunno, something feels kinda awkward about that, even if the official policy in your workplace is kinda lax.

Aye, even my dad who knows nothing about MGTOW and who was an old-school womanizer type in his prime understands that I don't really want to intimately associate with women because of the current social and political climate. Like, it's nice to know that he doesn't think I'm a failure of a son just because I don't believe in relationships that much.
/r/MGTOW218/06/19 07:27 PM

Aye, that's probably the one scenario I'm most afraid of. I was a socially awkward kid in high school. In fact, I still am a bit, and I painfully remember making the wrong impression on a handful chicks even if I wasn't actually that into them. God forbid those interactions will be used against me in the future, but if someone does, well then I'm kinda fucked.

I think it's cuz they lack the self confidence to be alone or to find someone else. For instance, I come from Los Angeles, and I've noticed a pattern in my age group wherein, if you manage to snag a girl, it's basically a rite of passage to spend a fuck load of money and take her to Disneyland or Universal Studios Hollywood. I mean, to be fair, that sorta thing is lowkey weird to think aboot. But at the same time I get why that kinda thing happens, otherwise I wouldn't be MGTOW.

Wait but evolution is an extremely slow process that requires generations upon generations of incremental and uniquely beneficial genetic mutations in order to work. Of course it isn't observable in the conventional sense because the process outlives the average human lifespan ten-fold and then some. It's like trying to observe the entire process of a star collapsing from beginning to end; it just isn't possible by any conventional means due to how long it actually takes.

His ability to keep it cordial and yeet outta there before things got awkward would be respect-worthy if it weren't for the fact that he paid for her coffee. Just...don't do that, man.

Ayo, kinda ironic that the gif comes from a movie/book where a dude couldn't be happy going his own way and wanted to get back with a former lover, only for that desire to be his downfall. Be careful my dudes.

Ah shiet the sad thing is that there are still uplifting posts about people doing cool things with their lives after going their own way, and I want to support that stuff. But then I find myself getting caught up in some sketchy shit that I lowkey regret commenting about or even just looking at. Fuck man. I dunno how to feel now.

That's a weird way of saying that, no offense.

Nah man Bill Cosby's still a worse piece of shit. Dude went out of the way to drug his victims. That's a level above taking advtange of an already drunk person. Doesn't mean Schumer should be excused from this kinda shit tho. She's still a sleazy scumbag and should be treated as such.

You can easily use their rhetoric against them by saying, "Well if I really am flawed then why do I have to push my flaws onto someone else? I'm just being considerate, ma'am."

Aye, my journey sorta skipped a few key steps, though I think that led to me dodging several bullets in the long run. Started out blue-pilled as fuck, but consistently got rejected cuz I happened to be lower than even a beta male. My single mother went farther than most other single mothers did when trying to raise a woman-worshipping cuck, and it fucked with me on a psychological level. Didn't help that I was always told to not be afraid to open up to women emotionally, only to be treated like …

Oh fuck. Did some surface-level research and kinda realized something that kinda scared me a little. I think I might have been as low as a delta or even an omega male before going my own way. Like, I always kind of felt that people looked down on me in specific way that was even lower than a beta male. It didn't help that I was so submissive that when my friends rough-housed me as kids I just kinda went down easily. I sometimes even let my friends pick me up and hold me upside down or some shit …

Aye, I also honestly find it hard to be an apathetic asshole myself as well, even in the presence of people who are obviously delusional and entitled. Like, I can't bring myself to say, "Well that's your problem," if someone asks me for help with something and they genuinely need assistance. That said, I've definitely toned down my unconditional kindness towards strangers/acquaintences after swallowing the redpill. Nah man don't blame the actor. He's actually pretty versatile when given a chance to play different characters. He's just unfortunate enough to be type-cast as the beta simp. I also have mixed feelings about Scott Pilgrim after taking the red pill. The story was kinda written just before society went full-blown AWALT, so I don't think it intended to push some gynocentric narrative that placed women over men or anything. Furthermore, it promotes, at least in theory, the idea self-respect triumphs…
/r/MGTOW07/03/19 04:11 PM

Aye, I bet the chick would go berserk if her husband tried to do the same thing.
/r/MGTOW07/03/19 03:50 PM

Aye, there are some cases where the mother will attempt to save face in the public eye by divorcing the dad "on good terms". So the dad may still have some presence in the daughter's life, but not enough to prevent the mother from turning the daughter against him behind his back. But yes, that kid's gonna have one difficult childhood.
/r/MGTOW07/03/19 03:48 PM
4

Aye, while the idea behind this sentiment has merit, perhaps we don't really have the full picture. Perhaps the dad went through a divorce rape that barred him from raising his daughter properly in the first place. Maybe he got pissed when his daughter then tried to enter his life only to use him as an ATM. Or perhaps the dad tried his damndest to raise his daughter properly, only for the daughter's environment to win out in the end and turn her into the dreaded AWALT.

Ye man that shit always turns me off completely. Motherfuckers look like God damn witch talons.
/r/MGTOW05/03/19 04:58 PM

Aye, it's not so much that, but more so the notion that we live in a society that enables said bad behavior 24/7. Eventually even the NAWALTS and unicorns are susceptible to succumbing to the degeneracy due to the constant encouragement and lack of any real consequences.
/r/MGTOW05/03/19 04:07 PM

That's just...depressing.
/r/MGTOW05/03/19 03:26 PM

You got this man. Just beat your meat to acquire that post-nut clarity. If you wanna keep the chick around, keep her at arm's length. But if you can't do that just drop her entirely.
/r/MGTOW05/03/19 03:15 PM
5

Aye, 19-year-old student here, also lost interest. I play along sometimes if there's absolutely no way for me to avoid a conversation with a girl, but I don't feel like it's worth it to go out of my way to talk to them anymore. Ironically enough now that I stopped trying I'm seeing more chicks try and strike up conversations with me. It kinda saddens me more than anything, really, that they interpret my disinterest as some sort of fucking game or challenge or some shit.
/r/MGTOW05/03/19 02:01 AM
4

Aye, yeah it's such a paradoxical phenomenon. They only pay attention when you stop giving shit, but there's no reason to reciprocate said attention cuz you've already stopped giving a shit. And if you do, then they lose interest.

That whole thing aboot Karmic memory kinda explains why I felt like I owed my high school crush a huge debt in Senior Year. She kinda got me into theater which made me enjoy acting. Not only that, but she sorta comforted me once I hit rock bottom in the first semester, when I thought I'd be failing a class for the first time in my life. Then shit went to fuck in the second semester when I attempted to act on my feelings, but that's a whole other story. Looking back, she probably could have had u…

Aye, I'd also like to add that whenever that shit is brought up between us bros, it's brought up to help whatever is bothering one of us in the moment and is handled with great care. Like, one of my friends went through a nasty breakup in high school, and whenever thoughts of loneliness begin to consume him, I sit down and chat with him about what went on in the past to make him this way. I don't shame him or anything; I just try and remind him that he's doing wayyy better than before.
/r/MGTOW04/03/19 02:25 PM

You got any friends my guy? You should hang with them if you can.

It's interesting to note how Mia Kalifa exists in stark contrast to someone like Johnny Sins, who embraced his porn star career and, due to this, is actually treated with a lot more respect. Like, he even has his own YouTube channel where he openly discusses what it's like to be a porn star, and people are cool with that.
/r/MGTOW03/03/19 08:01 PM

Ah, but stand too long in the sunlight and you'll get burned. Same phenomenon occurs when you spend too much time with a woman.
/r/MGTOW28/02/19 03:36 AM

Aye, well shite that was the very study I drew from. Shiet. Also, holy fuck sorry to hear that my guy. Didn't realize how insensitive I was being with my original comment.
/r/MGTOW27/02/19 09:05 PM
2

Aye, kinda underwhelming all things considered. I guess circumcision proved more beneficial before the advent of adequate sex protection, albeit unintentionally since not a lot of people back from over a century ago ever even considered a virus transmitted via intercourse could exist. Still though, I'm not too bent out of shape over being circumcised myself. It hasn't really fucked me over physically or psychologically. So I guess it just kinda has a neutral effect.
/r/MGTOW27/02/19 08:38 PM

Yeah my argument kinda falls apart if you're a dude who's smart enough to buy a condom, which is basically just common sense.
/r/MGTOW27/02/19 07:19 PM

Touché As well as just avoiding women with STIs, or just women in general.
/r/MGTOW27/02/19 07:17 PM

Welp, turns out I was spewing out npc bullshit out my ass earlier. Still gotta overcome my programming. Edit: Started doing some basic research right now. Turns out circumcision reduces the risk of HIV infection. Edit 2: Turns out circumcision just helps protect against STIs in general

/r/MGTOW27/02/19 05:14 PM

Aye, I guess I'm a bit biased since I'm Jewish and circumcision at 8 days old (bris) is a tradition that I'm lowkey grateful for. Don't have to deal with dick cheese.
/r/MGTOW27/02/19 04:41 PM

Correct me if I might just be basing this idea on the movies I've seen, but were pimps more prevalent in the 60s and 70s?
/r/MGTOW27/02/19 04:31 PM

I mean if it was sex trafficking against their will in shady as fuck third world countries then the sentiment is understandable. Voluntary prostitution, however, not so much.
/r/MGTOW27/02/19 04:28 PM

Aight, to be fair, circumcision has its health benefits. Only problem is that this woman is clearly doing it for the wrong reasons.

/r/MGTOW26/02/19 06:56 PM

Aye, the adjective form of psychopath is psychotic, not psychopathic. I know it sounds like a nit-pick, but there are people out there that will try and discredit that statement solely based on that one grammatical error.

Honestly man, that mindset has actually been working out for me. Still struggle with other stuff in my life, but the fact that I no longer get caught up on obsessing over the rare possibility of a NAWALT, I've been able to think more clearly on how to sort out my other priorities.
/r/MGTOW26/02/19 01:09 PM

/r/MGTOW26/02/19 12:56 PM

Aye, caught myself almost simping a couple of times. Tried to hold an unnecessary conversation with a female friend over text before realizing what the fuck I was doing and dropping it once she left me on read. Gotta stay strong my dudes.

My mom was an AWALT, no question about it. Divorced my dad on "good terms" before making decisions about me without his consent and behind his back. Always used me as a bargaining chip whenever shit got dicey, and had a habit of trying to turn me against him. Apparently her constant demands for child support led to my dad living in a guest house at 63 despite him having a high-paying job. She also wanted me to be diagnosed as autistic to get government benefits. Even when it turned out I wasn't,…

Something a little less intense happened to me this past winter break before I fully went MGTOW. Was hanging with a couple of friends, one of whom used to be my high school crush, at a Chinese restaurant. When we got our fortune cookies, mine mentioned something about my marriage bringing about good fortune or some shit. Made a joke saying that I don't plan on getting married so the cookie must be mistaken, and my former crush was apparently caught off guard by my comment. All of the sudden she'…

Aye, okay, "violate me" is a bit too strong in this instance. More like, "touch me inappropriately" or something. However, if you read the rest of that sentence, I prefaced "violate me" with "I let someone...", therefore implying that I recognized that I chose that path. That's the part that would fuck me up more, actually: not so much the act itself but the fact that I lacked the self-respect to say no and go do something else. So yes, you are correct in saying that there's a responsibility fac…

I know my own psychology is completely different from a woman's, so what I'm going to say might just be me projecting my own thoughts onto them, resulting in a false equivalency. If I were in their shoes, and I had to do the same thing to land that kind of job, that shit would fuck me up mentally even after I'd get live like royalty for the rest of my life. It would serve as a constant reminder that I let someone who didn't really care about my skills violate me. I'd also live in constant doubt,…
/r/MGTOW24/02/19 08:08 PM
2

Aye, I guess what I'm trying to say is that it would have been better if they had a chance of landing the job or improving their careers/lives without having to sell their bodies out the way they did. Like, it sucks that the opportunity hinged on whether they let Weinstein touch them rather than on the merit of their own talent. But I guess that sentiment is just being blindly optimistic and ignorant.
/r/MGTOW24/02/19 07:39 PM
-2

Aye, sure, but the options to choose were sorta rigged in a way. It was either go see Weinstein privately and get groped to get your foot in the entertainment industry, or go broke and do something else with your life. In the end, whoever chose the former did benefit, but it still wasn't too dignifying. I know, AWALT and stuff, but this sorta scenario never really gave the opportunity to resist that AWALT behavior to begin with. In fact, if anything, Weinstein's shit probably contributed a bit t…

Aight, to be fair, Weinstein was a bit of a creep after hearing a couple of recordings of him and one of the women. Like, I remember this one where he was literally begging for an actress to come back after she tried to leave. He kept reassuring her that he wouldn't touch her again or something. His desperation kinda freaked me out. There could be some cases where some of the victims were just women who regretted consentually sleeping with him or women who wanted to take advantage of the publici…

/r/MGTOW22/02/19 04:22 PM

Aye, I've always wanted to make films, so I'm studying that right now. I also had this idea for a superhero who can only use his powers by injuring himself and experiencing physical pain, and depending on which part of his nervous system was affected by the injury a unique power would activate. So, like, if he broke his arm, then his bone marrow would seep out of the affected area and re-calcify around his arm to form a bone club that provides a temporary boost in strength, but only in that arm.
/r/MGTOW22/02/19 03:20 PM

So basically you have to lose your soul in order for a woman to respect you. This shit is why I went MGTOW; I get to keep my soul without dealing with their shit.
/r/MGTOW14/02/19 12:14 AM

Wait if anything wouldn't this appeal to the people who want cis white males of the patriarchy to drop dead? How would they see an issue with this?

Aye, I gotta admit, my build right now is a bit too frail for 16 kg Kettlebells. I mean shit, I was struggling with the 15 lb one during my first workout. If I keep at it I will definitely start upgrading though.
/r/MGTOW03/02/19 04:57 PM

Actually did my first workout with it this morning. Realized how out of shape I really was lmao.
/r/MGTOW03/02/19 03:49 PM

Fuck yeah man. I know it ain't Valentines Day yet but that's what I'd call a bromance present.
/r/MGTOW03/02/19 02:36 PM

I wonder if we'll be allowed to observe it all crash and burn if any form of afterlife exists.
/r/MGTOW03/02/19 02:03 PM

Lowkey lost interest in it and I haven't even had sex yet. I used to be obsessed with getting laid too, then it just sorta dropped after observing all the bullshit attached to it. I still get urges, but post-nut clarity from jerking off fixes that shit in no time.
/r/MGTOW03/02/19 03:21 AM

That isn't negligence ya dumb judge. She actively went out of her way to slam a newborn against a wall. That isn't fucking negligence.

Oh I thought the header was saying she was 14 years old and I got confused.
/r/MGTOW01/02/19 05:00 PM

I mean, at least she didn't gaslight you or attack you for "invading her privacy" or anything, but still man...holy shit... I'm so sorry you had to go through that.
/r/MGTOW01/02/19 04:39 PM
2

Honestly man I don't even give a shit whether he gets laid or not; he still has my respect. Unfortunately for the rest of society, they will only base its respect for him on the basis of that quality alone.
/r/MGTOW01/02/19 04:27 PM

Dude legit I actually get the same reactions; it's hilarious how such a simple remark can throw them off.
/r/MGTOW01/02/19 04:59 AM
9

Which probably manifested as a result of poor upbringing. Society wants to continue pushing the "gentleman" narrative for young boys before spitting in the face of the suckers who were never taught any alternatives.
/r/MGTOW01/02/19 04:55 AM

This is true. I apologize for busting out an unnecessary soap box.
/r/MGTOW30/01/19 04:58 PM

But regardless we do not let genetics get in the way of equal opportunity and relatively peaceful co-existance. Just because a five foot Korean doesn't have the right physical make-up to enter the NBA, it doesn't mean we should bar him from trying out and learning his unfortunate circumstances the hard way. I know this is kinda like common sense, and I apologize if that sounded super patronizing, but I wanted to emphasize how a lot of people can easily mistake this notion as ignorant Nazism when…

This was actually the catalyst that made me go full-on MGTOW as well. While I was recovering from a rather depressing rejection, I was getting hit on by a chick who I knew through a mutual friend and who to had a bf. A year had passed since I last saw her so I assumed that they broke up or some shit so I decided to play along. Thought this was gonna be my chance to finally see some action in my life. Soon found out she was still together with her BF so I just ghosted her cuz I wasn't about to co…

Damn dude that's one hell of a catch. I've been thinking of taking myself out on a date, but I'm too shy to ask. I mean, I told myself that I like a guy like me, but I am a guy like me, and I'm scared I might friendzone myself ya know? What do I do my dude?
/r/MGTOW27/01/19 05:39 PM

In both drinks and dates I presume

But they already have fundamental human rights...
/r/MGTOW27/01/19 05:14 PM

Well according to our gynocentric society, the first dude is just hitting a rough patch, but it'll be smooth sailing after he fixes all the problems, even if said problems aren't his fault necessarily. While the other guy is just in denial and will soon break from the loneliness.

Aye, but it's like, they were given the budget of a Honda and were told that if they basically became the Ferrari dealer's slaves then they could get the Ferrari. But it turns out the Ferrari dealer doesn't really work like that, and so their misguided efforts are wasted. I mean, a lot of these guys could easily work towards the Ferrari, or at least a high-end Lincoln or BMW or something, if they got any motivation to improve themselves in any way. But it's so hard for a lot of them to overcome …

I got mixed feelings for them given how they're sorta like the twisted, defective, fucked up byproducts of the beta-bux providers that second and third-wave feminism tried breeding into modern society. A lot of them didn't choose to have these self-loathing, lazy, depraved, pussy-obsessed complexes; they developed them when their parents' generation discouraged traditional Male role models in the name of abolishing toxic masculinity. They were taught to be ashamed of their gender, and that the t…

Aye, shit, even though you might not have long to live, you made the right call. I wouldn't waste my last few years on Earth pining for someone who probably doesn't care for me at all anymore.

Yeah there's sort of a tragic element to an incel's existence. Like they're promised by various parts of society a piece of what those parts deem to be a slice of heaven (in this case a loving girlfriend/wife and the pleasures of sex) so long as they act in a certain, very submissive way. Then those very same sections of society turn around and convince the rest of the population that the behavior you see exhibited by these guys is creepy and that they should stay as far away from anyone who act…

29

Nah man. I see where you're coming from, but that's too much hard work for something that's kinda petty in the grand scheme of things. Not paying any attention at all is probably the better way to go.
/r/MGTOW27/01/19 02:03 AM

Just that combination of videos right next to each other. That's some real subliminal "They Live" shit that they got going on.

Fucking hell mate that's kinda creepy.
/r/MGTOW27/01/19 01:56 AM

Funny enough it was the fact that I endured a lot of pain that made me end up going my own way. I'm not masochistic enough to waste my time, energy, and money looking for the "right one" anymore.
/r/MGTOW26/01/19 10:40 PM

To be fair there are probably some dudes who have a fetish for fat women. It's not that common, but we shouldn't hold it against the dudes who actually wanna bang that out of genuine attraction and not out of sheer desperation.

They're called white knights, and they're everywhere

As a product of a single mother I can verify. To her I was her little gentleman who was never allowed to get his hands dirty in anything, someone who was never allowed to trust another male, even his own dad. And my parents divorced on "good" terms. I can only imagine what it's like for kids in even worse scenarios.

Gotta admit I was at the bottom of the blue-pilled barrel prior to going my own way. Almost went full incel even. Was mostly raised by a single mother who taught me to fear and loathe my dad and to treat women with unconditional respect no matter what. She'd break down the moment I'd tried to question her and so I also learned to be submissive for fear of hurting people. I was groomed to be her little gentleman with the promise that it would land me a lady one day. It didn't help that I develope…

Aye, some of the salty posts you see here aren't exactly nice guy posts per se, but rather they're posts from guys experiencing what's known as red-pill rage for the first time. Like, they woke up, but they're trying to cope with some of the painful realities that they had to learn the hard way. And sometimes you just gotta vent it all out before starting your path to recovery. Kinda like AA to a degree.

Just read some of the comments too. Fuck man, why do people keep assuming he's trying to "drain" a woman or find a woman to pick up where his mom left off? He just wants someone who's love doesn't hinge on whether he can provide 24/7 with overtime and then some. I felt moved by his speech and to see other people knock him down from their high horses broke my heart. Working towards a film degree in college and trying to improve my work and study habits. Also been trying to commit myself to a physical workout routine, but it's proven a bit difficult to maintain my motivation. I gotta keep going tho: no pain no gain. I know it's hard, but just ignore her and don't put up with any if her shit if she starts to try and use you like that. You can still talk to her once in awhile, but the moment she pulls any of that beta-bux grooming on you, you just get the fuck out of dodge for a couple of days, maybe even a week, maybe more. Show her that you're not some emotional tampon to be used and discarded, and if she wants the friendship to continue, then she's gotta respect you as an individual.

No need to worry my guy. Like I said, I'm treating this more like a safari excursion more than any actual thing. I will observe the wildlife, but by no means will I deliberately attempt to touch said wildlife. Besides, I honestly do have better shit to do than waste my time and energy participating in that rigged game.

It seems like there's been a recent influx of posts that seem to be a bit too fixated on actively calling out female and/or feminist hypocrisy and mannerisms on a more general scale and less on an intimate, experience-related scale. It gives off one of those "Feminism gets DESTROYED by FACTS" vibes you see in YouTube videos every now and then, and when the white knights come over to check out the sub, they immediately see this more aggressive means of expression. Soap box ensues. At least that's…

Yep. Almost fell for a chick recently who'd keep flirting with me and giving me obvious signals. Soon realized she still had a boyfriend so I decided to nope the fuck outta there. I honestly have no qualms with this new lifestyle myself. The real painful aspect at this point is simply being forced to observe the decay of modern civilization up-close if you have friends actively taking part in the toxicity or turning a blind eye to it. I have a couple of friends back home who have been riding the carousel for a long time now, since high school even. Even when things are "better" and they think they've found "the guy", I can literally see their self-destructive, childish be…

I remember reading Brave New World in 10th Grade English. I think today's western society resembles an underdeveloped hybrid between Huxley's work and 1984. We can find elements of both which, in a way, helps disguise each other at some level. It's not gone to complete shit yet, but I fear that the next few decades will see rapid decay if this stuff keeps up.

This is actually an interesting dilemma, cuz I often find myself questioning the intent behind some of my "good deeds" as well. I think a good person can do good things while still expecting some form of reward, but they have to understand the moral implications behind the good deed and be prepared to perform the good deed without expecting a reward when the time comes. This, unfortunately, is very hard to observe and measure on an empirical level. Edit: Actually, I think the more important thin…

The principle is understandable in theory; if you're willing to spend time with someone even when they're at a low point in their life then you're definitely deserving of their affection once they pick themselves back up. Only problem is that the meaning of the proverb, like with many concepts, has been twisted and distorted into this fucked up dynamic where you're just expected to put up with their shit even if they blame you for stuff you haven't even done during an emotional tirade. Then when…

I honestly still know a couple of female friends that haven't pulled some of the shit that's been discussed here (at least to my knowledge), so I try to separate what goes on in here from what I see in real life. However, I also know female friends who have a extensive track record of this shit going all the way back to high school, and it horrifies me to think I used to either ignore it and even put up with it. Nevertheless, some of these issues regarding hypergamy and the cu…

Aye, it kinda has two functions. The first one can roughly be compared to other communities like PUA and, regrettably, Incels, wherein you got people who just need a place to talk about a lot of fucked up shit involving women and modern western society. This either manifests as a more objective observation or an emotional ventilation since it can sometimes feel like there's no other place to turn to when discussing these topics, even on other subs. The other function is what separates this commu…

Aye, not too sure aboot the bipolar disorder being a female construct conspiracy, as it affects men too. Though I'm not sure how to properly research the topic given your implied claim that because pharmacies endorse the construct, any studies they conduct could be falsified to fit the narrative. It'd be like trying to prove God's existence at that point.

Yeah no you did the right thing my guy. Just don't get too caught up with her.
/r/MGTOW09/01/19 01:40 AM
2

Nah fam it's still people if you factor in the guys who try and stick up for women's feelings in the vain hope they'll get laid. They're likely to pull the Incel card just as fast as anyone else.
/r/MGTOW09/01/19 12:30 AM

Aye, flipped-flopped a lot between blue-pill soy-boy and red-pill rage until recently but right now I'm trying to escape from that and get my shit together. It's hard as balls to get over my upbringing and biological programming but this grueling transitionary process is a hell of a lot better than remaining in that obsessive rut.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 11:51 PM
2

Well fuck me in the ass and call me Shirley that sounds...contrived.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 11:16 PM
1

Now I kinda get why certain supervillain motivations exist. Like, they reach that phase but have no means of channeling those feelings into anything productive.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 08:43 PM
1

Aye, I mean the city officials and public figures mentioned in the story. Just kinda irks me that not one of those guys was specifically cited.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 07:31 PM
9

I know right? The lack of self-awareness is astounding holy shit.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 07:27 PM
3

That's the DC one, unless there's a male Marvel Captain Marvel I'm not aware of.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 07:26 PM
2

No direct quotes from anyone? C'mon man.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 06:56 PM

Funny enough it was the lack of my manhood that led to me developing mental and social disorders.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 06:54 PM

Especially when the mother consciously drives the father away despite his best efforts to stay and actively help raise the kid.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 05:22 PM
2

Aye, it's just good to know that you weren't fucked over completely.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 02:25 AM
2

And she has the audacity to block someone who was telling the truth? Christ man what the fuck.
/r/MGTOW08/01/19 02:12 AM

Now that I think about it, it also helps absolve them of responsibility if they ever do something fucked up.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 04:17 PM

Hey man that's they call me Virgin Virgo cuz I run away from all the pussy. Edit: this was a terrible joke
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 04:07 PM
8

I was sorta thinking the same thing at first until I saw a post explaining how MGTOW also functions as a support group for recovering drug addicts, and in some cases these guys (myself included to a degree) need some way to vent in order to start improving themselves.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:58 PM
28

Holy fuck that's just...I can't...
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:51 PM

I mean, I sometimes yelled during a mosh pit when all the adrenaline was kicking in, if that's anything to read into.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:49 PM

I think she's trying to show off how quirky and unique she is in case the 100% sweet sales pitch falls through.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:44 PM

Shit I've been exposed! Time to to skedaddle!
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:41 PM
6

Ah of course! And also the vague way in which I sneeze indicates that my planet is Pluto and that of course means I'm subconsciously linked to the Moon Goddess or some shit. Am I doing it right?
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:35 PM
4

She's literally just become a beggar at this point wtf
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:30 PM
15

Good on you for not taking her crap my guy.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:29 PM

Her facial expression coupled with the downright tyrannical implications of this quote are giving me Stalin flashbacks.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:28 PM
23

You know what? You got me there.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:27 PM

I'd actually be a Virgo if I actually followed this stuff.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:26 PM
3

Fuck bro you still able see your kids and stuff?
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:19 PM

Yo I honestly don't understand the obsession with horoscopes and zodiac signs and shit
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:17 PM

Although in this case instead manifesting as an overdose, death via pussy addiction manifests as extreme withdrawal.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 10:06 AM
7

I would save the snakes from my ex actually.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 05:45 AM
1

Aye, well in that case I've been hooked line and sinker.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 03:42 AM
1

Aye, I could be wrong. I could never completely know how the inner machinations of her mind operate. I actually question myself each day about that proposition as well. Like, am I just as subservient to my inner desires as the other guys despite my awareness? I'm not gonna lie, I still catch feelings for her myself now and then. It's why I'm joined this subreddit honestly; I want to take those feelings and chuck them out the window before I end up as depraved as the other dudes.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 02:57 AM
1

Aye, I think any person would like to think any rerehensible action they take is justified in some fashion, to a degree at least. You can sympathize with someone's justification while still holding them accountable for their actions. It seems as though we as a population sometimes tend forget implementing the second part when it comes to women, planting the seeds for even more toxic behavior to come.
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 02:09 AM
1

And that shit you said about trying to build "real" connections with women is bullshit. Oh no I was talking about finding friends to hang out with in that instance, not like romantic shit or anything. Like, I get how uncomfortable it is to have people interact with you on the sole basis of wanting to fuck you when you're just trying to chill. Like, the wavelengths don't match in that moment or some shit and it's sorta off-putting. So, like, yeah if you're lookin' to smash then yeah this is a non…
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 12:11 AM
4

Yeah that's kinda fucked. And then they laugh it off like it's nothing even though whoever wrote that literally just admitted to viewing men as having no value other than cheap entertainment but then denying accountability as if the unwanted scenario is somehow our fault for reading a signal they deliberately gave. That's the kind of shit that fucks with our self esteem, man.
/r/MGTOW06/01/19 09:13 PM
63

That actually makes sense. Never thought of it that way.
/r/MGTOW06/01/19 09:01 PM
1

Aye, yeah, maybe I am kinda naive cuz I have no idea what it's like to get backstabbed like that. Now that I know it can happen I can hopefully avoid that scenario. That point about malice as well. I think you got me a little wrong. I don't think women have that kind of malice because I actually think regular men don't fuck other people up out of sheer malice either (I say regular cuz I'm excluding guys like Stalin and Hitler and serial killers and what-not, but even they got problems too). Like…
/r/MGTOW06/01/19 08:31 PM

She honestly looks better without all the creepy doll-like makeup.
/r/MGTOW06/01/19 12:39 PM
1

Aye, I mean, I gotta admit I'm not strong enough for that yet. Plus I need something that fits in my house so this is probably a good alternative.
/r/MGTOW05/01/19 07:39 PM
1

Thanks again!
/r/MGTOW05/01/19 12:57 PM
2

Alright sick I'll definitely check out some videos. Thanks for the pointers!
/r/MGTOW05/01/19 12:55 PM

Aight should I buy two of the same weight or just one and take turns with each arm?
/r/MGTOW05/01/19 12:52 PM
1

So they're like more versatile dumbbells? Shiet I'm interested now.
/r/MGTOW05/01/19 12:49 PM
1

Ah sik that means I have a pretty good chance of not getting a divorce!
/r/MGTOW05/01/19 12:31 PM
9

Wait shit what is this specific piece of equipment called?
/r/MGTOW05/01/19 11:49 AM
3

Christ man. My condolences. And also holy shit that's super fucked.
/r/MGTOW04/01/19 08:01 PM
20

Wait so women are pigs then?
/r/MGTOW04/01/19 02:32 AM
16

I think the second comment was just worried about how it takes a niche online community like MGTOW to point out what should be common sense. At least that's the kind of vibe I'm getting. Could be wrong tho.
/r/MGTOW04/01/19 02:26 AM
25

F for our boy, random 13-year-old
/r/MGTOW04/01/19 02:21 AM

You made the right choice my guy. Is that dog still around?
/r/MGTOW03/01/19 08:55 PM

Stroheim would be a more loyal companion than any modern thot anyhow.
/r/MGTOW03/01/19 10:20 AM
2

Aye, sorry for the late response, never got around to checking up on this. I can't really say it's that simple honestly. I used to have a crush on this friend of mine back in high school: even tried winning her over with a Valentines letter that went a little overboard. Needless to say I got rejected and things got a little awkward between us. Nevertheless, we had to tolerate each other because at that point we had so many mutual friends that we couldn't just not hang out. Things only started to…
/r/MGTOW03/01/19 12:03 AM
1

Ah I see.
/r/MGTOW28/12/18 04:13 AM
4

Jesus. I mean, fuck. That's just...I can't...
/r/MGTOW27/12/18 09:37 PM
2

Well, if it's any consolation, I do want to become a storyteller of sorts, possibly even a filmmaker if I know how to get my feet wet in the entertainment industry. I got all these neat ideas that I'm fleshing out whenever I get the chance, and it would be very cool if I could execute on them using sort of visual medium as opposed to just writing a novel. Hopefully my ideas aren't too arthouse-esque or pretentious or anything. I know it sounds kinda naive to think I can make it in today's bloate…
/r/MGTOW26/12/18 08:18 PM

A what now?
/r/MGTOW26/12/18 07:14 AM
2

Will do. Thanks!
/r/MGTOW26/12/18 12:08 AM

I have a stick-like physique right now but I've had members of my family who used to be skinny become obese after the age of 30. So I don't exactly have a solid gauge on how my body processes food.
/r/MGTOW26/12/18 12:04 AM
4

I don't know if I'm an orbiter or not. I don't want to be one, but I have definitely been one in the past.
/r/MGTOW26/12/18 12:00 AM
2

Aye, touché. I gotta get back on track with exercising.
/r/MGTOW25/12/18 11:53 PM
2

Ah okay that makes sense. I gotta work on my physique anyhow. I kinda look like a holocaust survivor right now.
/r/MGTOW25/12/18 11:31 PM
1

Wait yo what's Rucking/Yomping?
/r/MGTOW25/12/18 11:19 PM
2

Aye, thanks man. And no worries; you don't sound Buddhist or anything. I know I have that problem. It's just been hard to overcome even after I became aware of it.
/r/MGTOW25/12/18 11:05 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
