I’ve had people think I was 5’10” (I have good posture and am in decent shape) and they’re surprised when I say I’m 5’8”. I’ve even trolled some girls and told them in person I was 5’6”. They usually responded with something like “you have to be taller, I’m (whatever height) and your way taller than me”. Lack of personal interactions combined with fake images has really ruined many people’s perception of what real human beings look like.

well, you might not feel an uplifted mood immediately after each workout, just like you’d not grow muscles WHILE you lift. But overall most people I’ve spoken to report improved mood after exercise. The exceptions were people who overtrained or were obsessive about their workouts rather than the recreational athlete. If you are neglecting other important aspects of your life to exercise, that could also lead to negative outcomes. Fro example, someone who repeatedly puts off cleaning out their ra…

Ah, with social issues it’s more on an indirect solution. Team sports, cycling/hiking clubs, and gyms all provide a venue for social interaction. Also the mood lifting effects of exercise makes for more pleasant interactions.

Exercising won’t fix EVERYTHING but good diet, regular exercise and good sleep hygiene are the closest thing anyone has for a cure to social and physics issues

my Two cents, yeah lots of people hung lifting is blue pill to impress women. That’s bullshit though. There a difference in people who lift for strength versus the “gym bro” who does “curls for the girls”. Most YouTube videos about lifting for women focus on chest and arms and abs, occasionally with shoulders and calves thrown in. Anyone who lifts for strength knows that functional strength come from the legs and lower back: squats, deadlifts, and various strongman exercises. But these exercises…

Not just their endocrine systems. Everyone they kids and shit, that stuff gets in our water supply and eventually makes it’s way into sea creatures and our food. Combine that with some of the plastics leaching into out food and the hormonal imbalances in many farm animals, it’s no wonder men’s T levels are dropping

You gotta be more detailed. For example, would a female version of me have calluses on her hands like it do? Or hair on her chest like I do? Those would be massive turn-offs for me.

I’ll play devils advocate here. Liberal arts do have a place in the education of a person. However liberal arts can be learned outside of a university environment, thru meetup groups and online forums and videos. Maybe a few interested students can rent a classroom and hire a speaker for very cheap. They do not require a 6-figure debt. STEM on the other hand requires some form of classroom because a laboratory/workshop is needed to truly learn sciences and trades. So basically, I want to clarify…

It’s the system. Look at actual patriarchal societies in the Middle East and you’ll see women are treated with the same disposability as men are in the West. You’ll also see how behavioral constraints are much stricter on females than on males, the opposite of the West. Check out r/exMuslim and you’ll see what I mean. Men are just as capable as women of being turds. It’s just that in the West, most men aren’t given that opportunity.

Regarding Haiti’s faith, I was replying to “prankster999” comment that Muslims breed like rabbits (Arabs do, Indonesians not so much). I wanted to highlight that plenty of Christians also breed like rabbits with haiti being a salient example (same in Africa and Latin America).

That's amazing! My mom was saving my and my brother's old legos for future grandkids. She was cleaning out the attic and found 'em. I took them off her hands and have been going through the sets. I was a little more diligent in making sure my old lego sets were preserved and labeled with instructions. I rebuilt some of my old sets. So some people have been posting images of their travels. I used up all my vacation this year so the best I could do was go to a nearby Lego store to buy supplies to start building a lego fort. It's been DECADES since I last played with Legos. Apparently many people, particularly females, find it immature for a "grown-ass man" to play with legos. Fuck 'em, it's my money and my time.

My preferred outfit: cargo pants, boots, and a t-shirt. Cold showers on a regular basis. You don’t need to do them everyday if you don’t want but do at least 2-3 per week. I’ve found they help me recover faster from exercise. Also do some exercise everyday. You don’t need to set a new Record each time you workout, but do SOMETHING even if it’s nothing more than a brisk walk or some light stretching.

Fair enough. The issue on with most people is the double standard applied. Plenty of teenage boys 14-17 would love to have sex with an older (20's-30's) woman. But at the same time, plenty of teenage girl would also be up for sex with an older (20's-30's) man and in fact historically throughout the world, girls in their mid-teens WERE married off to men in their 20's-30's. If female teachers are getting off with a slap on the wrist, then male teachers should get the same treatment. Mind you, if …

To give some context, im a physician. During residency/ registrarship, my pre-tax salary maxed at 52K and I was working 50-60 hrs per week for that. I make more these days, but I wouldn’t want to share the fruits of my labor with someone who wouldn’t have supported me while I was struggling.

I’d also like to add another disclaimer to my statement. Here in the US I’ve seen a significant number of docs (over 25%) who had other careers (nurses, engineers, scientists, even met a former banker and also met a former veterinarian) prior to becoming physicians. The average age of a 1st year med student in the US is 24, so on average people spend 2-3 years between undergrad and med school. Some people go straight from undergrad into med school, other people take 7-8 years doing other things.…

This comes across as a complete shitpost. Those “African nurses” are hired because not enough “white people” don’t want to go through the training to become nurses, and the whites who become nurses often refuse to work for the wages offered. Lastly I’ve worked with plenty of white nurses and ancillary staff who are obnoxious human beings and who obstruct care. Disagree with the “oldest person” part. I’m a physician and I’ve seen plenty of instances where the “oldest person” is NOT the best because their experience is primarily in outdated treatments. It’s not entirely their fault, it’s hard to train in newer technologies when one already works 50-60 hours per week. Doctors hit their “peak” between 5 and 15 years out of training where they have the right balance of experience and updated training. Mind you, plenty of physicians work in groups where the…

Gunpowder was negligible? Algebra was negligible? Europe came out of the dark ages after the crusades when Europeans were exposed to knowledge of the ancient Greeks which had been merged with knowledge from ancient India and China. Whoa there. White have certainly done a spectacular job of carrying the torch of civilization and have made quite a few contributions. But this wasn’t done in a vacuum. Plenty of advanced civilizations existed in Asia (I’m including Middle East and South Asia), North Africa, as well as South and Central America. These civilizations predate the current white civilization. Again, kudos to whites for carrying the torch and adding to humanity’s collective knowledge, but whites aren’t the only people…

This "article" riled me up quite a bit. Brags about how his children will always come first, and he’s an empty-nester. See explanation in #1 listed above. They’re well meaning, but terribly misguided. Why is that a red flag? If anything, it shows that a man cares about his children. And factory farming, at least in the US, really screws up the environment. And in terms of land use, it takes fewer acres to feed vegans than it does omnivores. It’s americans in general (born and raised in the USA, I see it firsthand), although admittedly women have a slightly higher rate of obesity than men in the USA. Part of it is the diet (tax-subsidized high fructose corn syrup in almost every food adds empty calories to everything), part of it is the lack of activity (sprawl/suburbia makes it impossible to commute by walking/cycling in most places). I’m sure all the chemicals in our water supply probably screw with out hormones as well.

I never understood this, but is there a stigma against cargo pants? My family (including cousins) have commented on my preference for cargo pants (“do you ever wear normal pants?”). I always found cargo pants more functional and I liked the “blue collar” look that comes with cargo pants and boots.

The principles behind the techniques (wrist locks) are legit, I’ve used modifications of those moves when rough-housing with buddies before. But most women don’t have the strength to pull those moves off on a full-grown able-bodied man.

Similar, except I have a sister and she is actually a very kind and caring human being (she’s helped me out on a number of occasions). The majority of females in my family (including maternal grandmother, most aunts, and some cousins) are actually good people and they’ve all helped me out plenty of times and I’ve returned the favor. Then again my maternal grand father was very family oriented and instilled strong family values in his kids (my mother and her siblings)

I have no idea what these "born again" or "reverts" are. Is this a denomination of Christianity? I was referring to women who rode the CC in their youth and suddenly "found God" as they started getting older (i.e. approached the wall). Now these women expect that they can forget their past. I've seen it with Christians and Muslims. Be careful with the “born again” or the “reverts” though. Plenty of them had a “wild phase” before “repenting”. I’ve seen a few myself. To each his own. I would NOT get into any legally binding relationship with any single mom. Pair bonding is part of it. Higher risk of STD’s. Part of it is also that many of these women have waited longer to settle down, so they’re a little older. Everything is a trade off. Look at distance runners vs weightlifters: diametrically opposed body types. Which body type is superior? So modifying kids to have more “X” will mean less “Y”. Residency, although not technically school still counts as training. That adds 3-7 years depending on the program. 75% docs do a fellowship, 1-3 years post residency. Over 30% of docs have masters or PhD BEFORE starting med school in the US because those extra degrees make them more competitive. Yeah, for all intents and purposes the avg doc has been in schools 13 years.

affirmative action I don’t like affirmative action at all. My complaint was over the fact that Asians are even more of a minority than blacks (most people assume blacks were born in the US unless they have an African or Jamaican accent) and Latinos (so many documents and services are in both English and Spanish) yet we don’t receive any of the “benefits”. The Arab confusion happened during middle school and high school (rural Pa and rural Ga) because my classmates had never seen someone who wasn…

Asians in the US have it worse than whites for the following: Affirmative action doesn’t apply despite the fact that we are fewer than blacks or Latinos. Stereotype of small dicks, being unathletic (partly due to culture but that’s changing) and being considered unattractive (didn’t apply to MGTOW, but still). South Asians (like me) get mistaken for Arabs by the small-town rednecks and deal with backlash every time there’s some terror attack in Europe. Always being mistaken for a foreigner despi…

Ex-Muslim, born in US to parents of Bangladeshi origin. Can confirm that many Rituals and traditions in Islam (wearing beards, having Arabic names, breaking ramadaan fasts with dates) are actually Arab culture and not part of the scripture of the Quran. And many Bangladeshi migrant workers in the Gulf countries are treated as subhumans.

Former Muslim. The use of figurative language in Arabic, the fact that Quran Arabic is 1400+ years old (and no longer spoken in day-to-day life), combined with the presence of numerous Hadith and sunna and fatwas can be interpreted in a variety of ways which makes it impossible to actually say what “real Islam is”. This leaves people to judge Islam by the action of its supposed adherents. While the majority of Muslims are just like the majority of people anywhere, there is a very vocal, very reg…

Civic nationalism. I.e, people who unite around an IDEA rather than something like race. Ethnic diversity in such a situation would be irrelevant since people of different races would be focused on the ideas that unite them.

People build civilizations for themselves. Just like white people would not do well in foreign cultures, foreign people don't do well in white culture when forced in or not properly vetted. Most people, including whites, are borderline retarded. Add to that a completely different culture, and you have a recipe for disaster. Alt-right is a meaningless term, what matters is the actual issue: diversity. Forced diversity is harmful to everyone, including foreigners who integrate well. They obviously…

Race is not important, what race implies is. As someone who works in the medical field, I agree with you that there are physical differences between races. I also agree with you that throwing open the borders to mass immigration is stupid (BTW, my grandparents immigrated to the US from India). However my beef with the "racial pride" thing is that it creates a mentality of "I was born [color] and therefore I should behave a certain way". People of all kinds of colors have built impressive civiliz…

You are your own man. You aren't responsible for the feats or the atrocities committed by other people who incidentally share your skin color. I'm of Indian descent. Thank you so much for this post! I hope that EVERYONE sees this and realizes that MGTOW stands for MEN going their own way. I'm of the opinion that MGTOW is a philosophy that transcends all races/ethnicities/religions/etc since it focuses on INDIVIDUAL development and allows for men to break free of harmful obligations foisted upon them from their birth cultures. If a man is born into a certain society whose values he doesn't agree with, then he doesn't need to compromise his personal values to …

With increasing automation, there is less need for the number of humans that we currently have. This affects men more than women since our physical strength is not nearly as advantageous as it once was. I afraid of an impending "culling of the herd" that is going to involve MEN of all colors and tribes being turned against each other. We are seeing this in Europe and the Middle East. Notice how the Middle Eastern and African nations have sent hundreds of thousands of young MEN to Europe. Many of…

You're scratching the surface there. Look at the Gulf countries to see the effects of legalized polygamy. Islam allows 1 man to marry up to 4 women at a time. For every man with 4 wives, there are 3 men with no wife. Some of the sultans will repeatedly marry and divorce from a larger pool of women so they have a larger harem, so you have an even larger pool of men who are "left out to dry". In order to keep these men from rising up and overthrowing the system the imams convince average Ahmed tha…

Islam permits polygamy, which means that the well-to-do men take on multiple wives while the less wealthy men are left out to dry (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Afghanistan, the rural Pakistan are a few places where this is really apparent). Also under Shariah law extra-marital sex, pornography, and homosexuality are supposed to be forbidden (this stuff is pushed underground in many of those countries). Basically those govern…

That's the blue-pill idea that OP wants to break Arab men out of. Its mathematically impossible for every man to have 4 wives. Ergo, the bottom 75% of men are fooled into killing themselves via jihad to create a shortage of men so that the top 25% can have all the women without risking being overthrown. Good MGTOW philosophy will convince many would-be jihadis to abandon their matrix.

Ex-Muslim here. OP speaks true when he refers to high-status men with harems in Islam. Islam allows men to have up to 4 wives at a time (Saudi royal family bypasses this by repeatedly divorcing and remarrying the same wonen so effectively they might have dozens of women at a time) which fits nicely into the "80% women pursuing 20% of men". Look at the result. Fanatical young men launch suicide attacks for the promise of 70-some virgins because they're so pussy hungry. This setup requires Islam t…

I chose fat acceptance because its one of the few voluntary behaviors that's encouraged. There's no "tobacco acceptance" or "alcoholism acceptance" or "drug acceptance". That's a fair argument. I also don't care to subsidize people who use tobacco, alcohol, other drugs, or engage in reckless behavior (people who want to participate in those things should face the financial consequences). That being said, there children are taught since elementary school that tobacco is bad. There have been many public campaigns aimed at eliminating tobacco use and many private establishments do not allow the use of tobacco on their premises. How many private institutions ban peo…

And make sure you maintain good relations with her parents, they can become invaluable allies. Also you might want to feed your daughter a few "red pills".

"1. BEING FAT DOESN’T MEAN I’M BEING UNHEALTHY." Tue, but being fat makes poor health statistically more likely. Thanks to socialized medicine, those costs are passed on to people who statistically are more healthy. Regarding the comparison to smokers, tobacco use is banned inside many buildings and restaurants. Fat people don't deal with this much ostracism. "3. FAT CAN STILL BE FIT." tldr: being fat can make somebody literally "unfuckable" due to the physical constraints of having large amounts of fat covering the genitalia I am a resident/registrar physician who started out training as a surgeon (I switched to radiology) in a hospital that had a busy bariatric (weight-loss) surgery department. That actually tends to be proportional to weight. It's rare to see a landwhale with a flat chest (although landwhale breasts aren't really breasts so much as they are rolls of fat). In all seriousness, higher levels of fat allow for higher levels of estrogen so women who are anorexic basically have no breasts and obese men are more likely to have gynecomastia than non-obese men.

Believe me, not all doctors want to prolong life. I know of a few instances of doctors who side-stepped laws against physician assisted suicide by giving terminal patients a 1-week supply prescription for pain medications to take home, and the patient intentionally overdosed on those medications. Mind you, this doesn't work for patients who are admitted to the hospital. The best people can do is to have continuous pain medication administered to keep the patient sedated and basically wait for th…

My statement was based on the assumption that most men are built along a range of proportions and smaller men tend to have smaller body parts than larger men. Yes I know that some men are better endowed FOR THEIR SIZE than other men. Realistically speaking though, a 5'7" man (such as myself) will probably have a smaller dick than a 6'3" man. In fact, just about every body part of a 5'7" man will be smaller than the corresponding body part of a 6'3" man. Make sense?

I made the assumption based on the fact that I am smaller than average: height, weight, limb length, head and neck and waist and limb circumference, etc. It would stand to reason that if every part of me is smaller than average, perhaps this might affect my endowment if I was built along the same proportions as the "average" male. Yes I realize that people have varying proportions and my assumption doesn't always pan out. But look at it like this: a 5'7" man (such as myself) will probably have a…

She had such arrogance to think she could put her hands on me and make lewd comments to me (often in front of other students) and that I should have to put up with her bullshit. If I could go back in time, I would have complained to the school auth…

Similar story back when I was in HS. Average looking girl kept doing that shot to me. I knew she was just being a tease and she wasn't actually physically attracted to me. If she were genuinely attracted to me then I might've capitalized on that. In any case one time when she caught me alone I turned my back to her and pretended to ignore her until she got within reach. Then I whirled around and punched her in the abdomen. She got mad and tried to hit me so I punched her in the chest. From then …

White people don't have the biggest genitals. Go on google and check "penis length by country". Sub-Saharan Africa, I.e black people, is tops. Things are different in the US. Plenty of Asian (both brown and yellow) girls end up marrying white men. Black wome. Treat black men like shit. Asian men get treated like shit by all races in the US. We are treated like shit during childhood for having top marks in school and being academically successful. Even though we are a minority we don't receive an…

Feminism's only "plus" is that it has helped with much-needed population decline. Other than that, I have to disagree with your post. The higher taxes, the welfare state, the growth of a parasite class, and the eventual collapse of society aren't something I'm looking forward to. I personally enjoy my plumbing, electricity, Internet, air conditioning, and access to modern healthcare. I live frugally because I know our society is unsustainable at its current size, but I do believe that we can bec…

I've posted about this before. I still care about society because I value clean drinking water, a working sewer system, electricity (food refrigeration, heating/air conditioning, and video games), and some form of infrastructure for travel. I couldn't care less for much of our society, but I do value the some of amenities that have come with living in "civilization". Unfortunately that requires some form of social cohesion to keep running. I believe that we have a lot of unnecessary people (SJW,…

How is this different from our current society? 80% of the females pursue 20% of the males and often are successful in getting laid (thanks sexual revolution and birth control). If you're curious to know whether polygamy works, do some basic math. For every male with multiple females, there are multiple males without any females. The converse holds true for females with multiple males. If a woman has multiple male partners, she will face competition from un-partnered females who are seeking male…

Thanks for the replies. However I was kinda hoping to steer the conversation more toward the philosophical line, if there is one, between MGTOW and MRA. For example, when the establishment notices that continued societal shaming is having no effect then a bachelor tax is the next step to bringing men "back to the plantation". Or taxing everyone to provide further subsidies for social programs that disproportionately benefit females. Or even taxing everyone for a "common good" that suppresses ind…

As stated in my post, I have strong libertarian values. I find the "you do your thing and I'll do my thing" mindset of MGTOW to be very much in-line with my views. Growing up I was often at odds with my peers. My parents immigrated to the US from a conservative Asian country and as the oldest child, they were especially strict about teaching me their traditional values (no drinking, no dating until I reached college, limits on television/video games, focus on academics). I grew up in rural (i.e.…

Being a doctor isn't all it's made out to be. Salary is more like 200-300K, which is still a lot but it comes after 4 yrs of undergrad + 4 years of medical school (lots of people get Phd's or MBA's at this time in order to do research or go into administration) + 3-7 years of residency (depending on field). About 80% do a fellowship (1-3 year residency that specializes beyond residency). Residency and fellowship aren't a walk in the park either, work hours are 50-75 hours per week depending on s…

The Quran promotes chastity outside marriage but also encourages marriage. With regards to married couples, the Quran has a few verses that also encourage wives to keep their husband sexually satisfied: Your wives are as your homes, enter your wives as you would enter your homes. The Quran doesn't ban monasticism or MGTOW outright. In fact there's a verse (I forget the citation) that says something to the effect: Men are the maintainers of women. However in a polygamous society, there should be …

Ex-Muslim speaking. Here is my take on this: People can pretend to convert to Islam and escape discrimination. Men cannot "convert" to females, despite what transsexuals might believe, in order to escape persecution. Also, as a male, I'd rather deal with the stupidity of Muslim fundamentalists than feminists. That being said, I assure you that many people who call themselves Muslim do not abide by Sharia law (including members of my family) and are actually non-denominational/agnostic in their v…

I'm married (to a trad-con woman thankfully) and have kids so I can't be MGTOW (I only discovered the concept last year) but I share a lot of your outlooks on life due to my libertarian political views. I've been wanting to economically disengage for the past 7 years (because I was dissatisfied with the political trends in the U.S.) but my career prevents me from doing so. Background, I'm a Resident Physician in the US (similar to a registrar in Europe), i.e. I earn a salary of ~$50,000 per year…

I tried posting this earlier today but it was deleted quickly. To my knowledge I have not violated any of the rules. If I have inadvertently done so I hope this will be brought to my attention without my banishment since I greatly enjoy this sub-reddit.

I dunno what country you're living in but I would dispute your claim regarding the healthcare sector in the US. Physicians are ~55-60% male, i.e. nOT heavily dominated by men. Pharmacists, nurses, and physician assistants are predominantly female by large margins And as a medical student and also a resident/registrar physician you will have to deal with these people. As a current resident (Radiology, Louisiana USA) I can tell you that financially it's not worth being a physician outside of very …

I don't know what job meets the criteria set forth, however I can tell you what jobs DON'T meet those criteria: Many healthcare related jobs: Nurses, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Physicians (currently training), social work. These fields are female dominated. While the majority of females in these fields are competent and pleasant to work with, a significant-enough minority are either stupid, disrespectful, two-faced, or some combination thereof. Men make up a significant minority of those…

if you want to preserve your friends ego then you can lie, or at least bend the truth. You just paid off a large medical bill, so tell your friend that your not strong enough to travel. You could also bring up your finances, pass the buck so-to-speak. On the other hand, if you are no longer close enough to your former friend, have no desire to maintain or rebuild your friendship to attend an event that he considers momentous, you can be brutally honest with him. I know you don't want to do this …

If you check the "comments" section on the article, quite a few people have posted something along those lines. A few more people have also made red-pill comments along the lines of "alpha fucks". Either red-pill ideology is catching on, or red-pillers are becoming more vocal. Both scenarios are more favorable to MGTOW than the blue-pill white-knight ideology that seeks to enslave people.

Why would the OP assume that the kid turns into a "rebellious dream killer"? For the record, I discovered MGTOW after I got married and had a son so I can never truly be MGTOW but I respect your guy's decision and admire your sense of independence. Fortunately my wife and I are both from tradcon Asian families, and my wife is more socially conservative than me so I lucked out. But I digress. My son (4 y/o) does act up on occasion but I've found that he behaves much better if I burn off his energ…
