I've had one very bad relationship that I'd rather not go into now because I don't want to get into a "who's the greater victim" competition. But just because she was awful to me, doesn't mean I would want to be that way to another woman. As someone who does want men's rights: I want use to be better men, not to sink to the level of those who wish to harm us.

It's only about accountability if you call out the people who are doing it. We accomplish nothing by insulting women who have nothing to do with the women's version of the site.

I don't know if this is a such a good idea. I hate what the women are doing, but I also don't think that men should be doing the same thing as a form of revenge. We need to be better, not sink to that level.

Could you link us to the post and subreddit? Maybe some of us can respond (rationally and without anger) to some of the negative comments directed at you?

There has to be more to than this than what he has written. I can't imagine killing myself over a false accusation and possible loss of job. I could understand feeling broken after incident like this, but to go all out and kill yourself is a bit extreme.

It was 20 years ago and I'm currently married to an amazing woman and we have an equally amazing daughter. Still, from time to time, the ex pops into my head and I just get angry at how cruel she was, and how foolish I was.

I'm not looking to crash all feminist movements. Despite some of their crazies, they do make some valid points about the treatment of women. But I'd argue that some of the power moves that women have over men (lying about pregnancy) need to be looked at by authorities.

I'm unsure of the stats, but I can say from my own life experience that I once dated a woman who used emotional manipulation to nearly destroy me. She never did anything illegal, but I almost wished she assaulted me because the I'd imagine my mental anguish wouldn't have been as bad as what she did to me.

I very much agree with your first point. I believe in a woman's right to make the final decision as to whether or not a baby is born or aborted. But I also believe that if women have that right, men should also have the right to walk away and not have to support a baby he doesn't want. As for circumcision, I'm still not sure where I stand on that one.

Stay indoors after dark? Why should our freedom be restricted? It's the same thing we tell women, and it's not right then either.

I guess I'm a bit old fashioned, and if something awful was happening, I'd want my wife and baby to go first as well. I think it's that way because men are usually stronger than women, so if something terrible is happening, we have a better chance of surviving. Still, I get your point. Men suffer as well and our suffering shouldn't be a joke. It should be treated with the same seriousness as a lot of women's issues.

Are these stats just for the US?

I'm wondering if someone women are starting to become too picky and looking for the absolute perfect mate. That means no mistakes. Here are a few examples that have shocked me: A woman on reddit last week was complaining about a man she had been dating for a few weeks who made an inappropriate joke after they had sex. She was certainly right as it was somewhat inappropriate, but he apologized for his mistake. Still, she would have none of it and broke up with this man who she seemed to have like…

I support a woman's right to choose. I also support a man's right to walkaway from a pregnancy he's not interested in.

As long as it's a choice that both parties agree on, you'll never get pushback from me.

If you mean during a one on one conversation, of course not. We should treat them with the same respect and dignity we'd treat other men. If you mean by seeing a hot girl walking down the street and you want to check her out? I'm in the middle here. Some women feel uncomfortable with men gawking at them as they try to walk down the street. Maybe teach boys that it's okay to look, but it's not okay to stare and make them feel uncomfortable. Be discreet.

If he's 17, he above the age of consent in most states so it really wouldn't be illegal

I don't understand. What's the issue?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
