This may be a bit too 'zen' but I really liked Tyler D's answer to this in the Blueprint... Basically, free your mind and stop worrying about having things to talk about. Just let your mind flow and you WILL have things to say. His point: How old are you? Have you ever run out of things to say to your parents? Your best friend? No, of course not. There's hundreds of hours to things to talk about. You need to figure out about 30 minutes with a new girl. Maybe 10 hours with a new(ish) girl. This i…

To be fair, his username does give fair warning :)

Good stuff! Let me tell you - I'm double your age and still have trouble going out alone. Very good start to a future filled with success :) One note: I don't think my chances were that good with any of them Incorrect. Your chances are equally good with EVERY SINGLE girl you meet. Every one. Don't defeat yourself before you've even tried!

99% agreed -- only thing I'd comment on: not opening people leaves you with a feeling of inadequacy If I can relay my RSD Blueprint learnings -- this shouldn't be. NOTHING should leave you with a feeling of inadequacy - that's just your ego taking over. If you don't open, no biggie - there's always the next time out!

Actually sounds like you didn't do anything wrong at all -- very well-handled! (I was expecting to read a train-wreck and was pleasantly surprised). Honestly, just sounds like this girl is fickle. Some are. You can't do much to predict that sort of thing and you may have to move on. REALLY doesn't sound like anything you did. BUT - dare I say this - it doesn't sound dead to me. The best thing you can do, however, is just completely forget about her and basically ignore her. It may make her say "…

I think it depends on the raincheck honestly -- there are legit ones and there are blow-off ones. A legit raincheck usually (not always) has a follow-up attached to it: i.e. "Hey! Really sorry but I have to bail tonight - something came up. But I'd really like to see you so maybe next Tuesday instead?" That's totally legit. If something comes up next Tuesday and she gives a follow-up like that, I let her get to 3 strikes. BUT -- if it's obvious that she's just blowing you off, I drop my limit to…

I'm pretty sure I read this somewhere but an opinion opener I'm going to try next is the 'super powers' one.... "Hey, my buddy and I are having a debate -- let me get a female opinion. If you could either be invisible or have x-ray vision, which would you take?" It's playful, nerdy, fun and if she isn't into talking about super powers, what fun is she anyway? ;) Also it works well with pairs -- you decide who your target is and use her answer to neg her. "REALLY? Oh man now you're agreeing with …

I have a very hard-and-fast rule about this (might be contrary to conventional pua wisdom tho) -- I follow the same procedure as you -- call, if no answer, send text message. Message is always something like "Hey - it's BoP. Give me a shout back." I know that technically you're not supposed to wait for a girl to call you back (puts the ball in her court) but honestly, I've never once had this backfire. In 100% of cases where the girl is interested, she calls back, usually right away. If she does…

Great FR! Sounds like you're doing an excellent job of getting over the AA and just doing it, which is terrific. Well done. One suggestion -- sounds like you're manning up to do the approach but running a bit dry after making initial contact. From your descriptions, it sounds like a lot of the interactions are "Hey!" "Hey." "So....how's the night?" "Good." Etc. That's tough. Maybe try some opinion openers just to get the conversation flowing? Might be a good kickstart -- so in that bachlorette g…

Ignore it and remember this: People who criticize seddit are really criticizing one very specific type of person they believe represents all of seddit -- the guy who lives entirely on routine, only memorizes lines, plays games and tricks as his only DHVs, tries to hypnotize women using NLP exclusively, etc. Basically a caricature of Mystery as described in The Game. We all know that may work (for some people), but that's not the blueprint for a PUA and not what seddit is about -- it's really abo…

My lack of success on that trip had very little to do with Iceland and very much to do with me :) The environment was terrific - I just didn't know jack.

I'll put it this way: I'm white, my buddy is Indian. He got laid, I didn't. :)

I visited Iceland several years ago and they LOVED that I was American. Every girl I spoke to said "Oh you speak English - where are you from??" and coo'd when I said NYC :)

Honestly, that response is a little rough for my taste (it comes across as mean, not just teasing). Tease is the key -- don't be mean. Her: "So how good are you at oral sex, eh? Might need some incentive to come visit" You: "You'd love to find out wouldn't you. You're going to have to make it worth my while or you'll never know..."

i think this stuff actually works a lot better on older (i.e. 25+) women. I'm in my 30s and most of the women I talk to are very receptive to these basic rules. I've found the younger a woman is, the less likely she is to care about "real" stuff (guy being interesting, telling good stories, etc.) Younger women tend to be more looks-focused, more "weeee party yayayayaya" and more drama prone "omg my friend is drunk I have to go take care of her". I've found that a slightly older woman is much mor…

I think the key here is negs, negs, negs. This girl expects you (and everyone else) to fall all over yourselves around her, and guys usually do. So don't be that guy. Tease her. Point out some food in her hair..."aww, that's cute - you got food in your hair." Or something small, like a broken nail - "Tsk tsk...broke a nail. You should be more careful before you come to see me." Other things - change your frame that YOU are the prize, not her. She asks you to go down on her? Laugh at her. "HA - y…

This is actually a really good response - I like it. It's funny, it's self-effacing, it'll make her stop and think for a second "wait, is he into dudes? Is it not into me? Am I not good enough?" -- just enough to throw her off balance to recover from your being off balance :)

Agreed! I'm still working very hard on conquering my AA, but the few moments of success I've had have been SO worth it. Just remember things like this: My wing and I approached two girls at a party last year on a whim - we just sucked it up and made the approach. From that ONE conversation, he ended up dating one of the girls and I've added two new people to my social circle. Didn't end up dating either of them but they're both friends now, one of whom has introduced me to about 4 of her girlfri…

There was a great animation on the RSA series about this sort of topic: http://youtu.be/3-son3EJTrU The basic gist is that you don't need to go too crazy on this one. She knows what it means when you "invite her to view your etchings" and you know what it means, so don't go too nuts. "Hey, so, I've got some cool X to show you, want to come up to my place?" She's no fool - just give her enough of an excuse so she doesn't feel like a slut or so it doesn't seem DIRECTLY obvious.

I think you did a great job overall -- it's a tough situation and I don't think you messed anything up. The keys that I take away are that she wasn't really that interested -- going to your bed wasn't exactly an IOI -- all the willingness to leave was an indication that she really just wanted a place to lie down. So in industry terms, you didn't build attraction enough -- offering your bed, if anything, was supplicating -- why did she deserve to be offered your bed? It was like buying her a drin…
