I know it's kind of cliché but I'd say you're only a loser if you don't try at all.

Sounds like you just smoked a bowl. I appreciate the sentiment of you trying to make people feel good, but this is all a bunch of nonsensical bullshit.

It should also be noted when she ghosted me and tried to initiate things again I would ignore her message and not reply for a day or two, so it's not like I was instantly replying every time she came back.

Hate to be that guy but if you were "successful" then you would be converting that flirting into something more by now. Women are probably shaming you because you're that desperate thirsty dude.

Being lifted up on a chair would've been pretty cool, actually.

Maybe you're right, but I definitely feel like I'm on the right path, and like every great journey - that's the first step, right? I've always been a slow learner, but my strength comes from my dedication. And it finally feels like that dedication is starting to pay off. I'm by certainly no master of the craft, and I hope that didn't come across in the original post that way, but I definitely feel like I'm heading in the right direction and wanted to share my progress with this awesome community…

I guess my DHVs are pretty subtle, I don't really shove it in their faces. But I just like weaving DHVs into conversation points, they're great for threading, and generally always get the girls smiling - which is what you want.

Thanks! Trial and error has been the big thing at play here, you can read and read and read but at the end of the day simply getting out there and seeing what works and what doesn't is going to net results. And that's simply where I'm at now - a point where I not only feel attractive to women (for the first time in forever) - but feel like I'm in control. Next, I'm going to continue working on my inner game, go out more (I suffer from depression and social anxiety and tend to find excuses to sta…

Well according to your logic, you just surpassed your own level of sadness (and show your true insecurities) by deciding to talk down and spit negativity at someone who just wanted to share a positive experience ie. a random person on the internet. Glad to hear you've obviously got this whole thing so down pat that reading posts like this is laughable to you.

I can't give you exact talking points because that's not how natural conversations works. But I can share with you some interactions as examples of how I come up with conversation starters. Example 1 - A girl complimented me on my suit and tie, I told her how it was a wedding suit and started talking about funny stories from that experience, then I asked her what her favourite colour was, she pointed to her dress and said it was green, we started talking about why we like the colours we do and t…

It was pretty obvious sour_peach was referring to creepers in general. Need to work on those insecurities, dude.

The easiest way to look at this question is to ask it in reverse. What would it take for YOU to fall for a woman in the same situation you are? Would it require her to have a makeover, more outgoing personality, be more fun and spontaneous, be a better listener? Think of the things you'd need to have someone sway your opinion then apply those changes to yourself. If nothing would sway your opinion or you're simply not capable of those changes then you've answered your question.

I think any girl with class thinks the way you do. To be honest, if a girl was all over me on the first date and we were making out an hour in, I would totally think it was too easy and most likely wouldn't continue the relationship. We human beings are odd creatures, we all love a challenge.

Apart from numbers 1, 2, and 3 - this is all terrible advice. Most of these are a surefire way to end your date early and/or leave a bad impression. And who honestly busts out apps during a date, are you really that uninteresting?

Especially considering he added "holding her hand requires mutual agreement". Like, no shit, that means she's into you. Why the fuck would you grab a girl around the waist who isn't into you?

I don't know you so can't really comment for sure. But it seems to me like you're not really paying attention ;)

Shit tests can be subconscious. They don't have to consciously be aware they are doing it. That's why it's called instinctual nature.

Fair enough. Guess I missed those posts. I'm glad it has more attention than I initially thought it did. So you're saying there have been men who have written FRs about picking up women who weren't necessarily gorgeous but were incredibly attractive (either through their intelligence, attitude, personality, life outlook) to them specifically?

I'm basing these statements on how I see professional PUAs eg. Mystery treat the HB system. I've never heard of it being interpreted as pure value. It's how she values herself based on her appearance ie. hot girls think they're all that.

Only problem is I don't really know what to do next. Not sure if it's better to wait like a week or just a few days to ask her out again. I've been out of the dating game too long...

Well. Went along with my plan. Met her at the coffee shop a few minutes late in rather casual clothes (to make it seem like the whole thing wasn't a big deal). Got along really well. Made her laugh heaps. About halfway through switched to friend zoning her and throwing playful negs her way. After sitting there for about an hour or so I suggested going for a walk that would end up at my car. She agreed. When she saw me off I kept it casual and we hugged goodbye. She told me she'd been feeling shy…

I'm prepping to go out soon. Basically my plan of attack is to friend zone her - reinforce this with things like 'Wow. I'm really glad I decided to just be friends with you, we wouldn't work at all'. This will hopefully have her second guessing herself as to why I don't think she's worthy than anything more than friends. If things turn around and she gets flirty again I might try and sway the course of things by saying something along the lines of 'Damn. You're starting to really make me regret …

Catching up with her later today. Will let you guys know (even if I bomb, which according to a few people is quite likely) either way.

Wow. I'm flattered by this dedication to a total stranger. Thanks for all the advice/tips, and yes, I guess it is that obvious that I'm quite a bit of a noob and am still feeling my way around game. Trying my best to learn though. The only thing I will say is that I did in fact respond to the slap when it happened, and acted sheepishly outraged. Hence why I opened with "I owe you a slap". I really do regret dropping the response to her 'let's just be friend's' line, but it's been so long since I…

Thanks for the advice, guys. I am planning to just go and see if her actions outweigh her words, but just wanted to scope the thoughts of the community first :)
