-3	Simply put I don't have a lot of time to debate the bigger picture stuff you're talking about but i just wanted to say i like the sales tax only idea. The more you spend the more you pay so if you want a yacht or other status crap you have to throw yourself into a higher tax bracket. Maybe also tax capital gains. -7	Simply put I've always considered myself left because I think a ton of the progressive ideas would help working people get out of poverty. If you had universal healthcare you wouldnt need to stay employed by someone else to keep your family insured, for example.
