How about couples therapy or some kind of therapy for his porn addiction or how it's impacting you as a couple?

There are many ways to be physically beautiful and I hope I don't sound corny but inner beauty matters a lot too. Being feminine, soft, supportive, kind - always happy to see your man after a long day, these go a long way too

I hear what you're saying and I agree. I've tried to do those social things with her like nails done or shopping or asking her for recipes or cooking meals but everything is always rejected and she talks down to me. As if the help was asking to get nails done together and she's like "uhhh...NO"

How did she build trust and respect with you? What boundaries or consequences were there if you behaved badly? Thanks

I agree with you and I have tried. I think I'm going to break up with him because in this house there will only ever be one woman of the house and it is this child Also there are photos of the late wife all through the house and they kept all her clothes and items for over a decade(he wanted to get rid of them all but the child wanted to keep it) There's no room for any other woman in this house and I don't know if he will ever be able to successfully be in a new relationship because he is a sla…

That's brilliant advice. Problem is he's often busy working and she does it when he's not around or when it's just the two of us. I will tell him about everything immediately though so she knows if anything happens he will hear about it straight away

Brilliant advice and yes I tried doing that at the start for about 6 months. I would play sous chef, ask her to teach me things and follow her lead and be really warm and loving and polite. But she'd always say "nope I don't need any help" and tell me to go away. And her disrespect grew and now it's outright bullying and nasty and I can't tolerate such blatant hostility and nastiness on a daily basis and about 6 months into this hostile treatment from her I started to give up and think enough is…

She yells at me. I would have to have a confrontation or meeting with the dad where we agree that I am cooking. She's really difficult and will only listen to what dad says, not me

Thanks for your reply. Yes he feels a lot of guilt that she lost her mum quite young and has been spoiling her and letting her get away with things for a long time Can you help me, what boundaries would you put in? One thing I was thinking was if she's rude to me, we confiscate her phone until the next morning How else would you put boundaries in? Thanks so much

Can I ask your advice on how did your step mum take over the position of woman of the house? My step daughter will not give it up, she rules the kitchen (I'm not even allowed to cook in the house when she's there, all cooking and domestic tasks are her expertise. It's only when she's at school or out that I can actually cook in the kitchen in the house I live in lol And it's quite hard for me as I love cooking and Im finding it so difficult that everything has to be done under her orders. She's …

I tried for the first few months to be extremely nice and warm and I just ignored her blatant disrespect I tried again and again and again and again, and she has been hostile and rude and nasty from the start. Every single day, she has been downright nasty to me consistently. I've never done anything out of step. About 6 months in I lost my patience about her blatant disrespect and confronted her father about it. The situation is getting worse as time goes on. I hear that you're saying she's had…

If you do send anything, never ever have your face in it. Maybe even not much of your body. I have done it as I knew my man wanted to see me instead of watch p*rn and it enhanced our connection but I'd never show my face. Once I sent him a cute photo of my feet in high heels and a video of me sliding my feet in a sexy way, wearing heels. He ofc knew it was me and found it sexy and a tease but if it got leaked, you couldn't tell it was me it was just a hot pair of feet/legs. Another time I sent m…

Learn to love healthy food and fresh food. Don't diet, but cook most of the food you eat yourself. Meal prep if you go to the office/are out and about a lot. Choose lean options if you must eat out. It might be hard initially and take time but I promise your body will adapt and over time you'll love and even crave healthier food. Then it'll be easy sticking to it. It's not a diet it's a healthier way of life. Eat more protein to stay full. Have more veggies for fibre. Drink water not sugary drin…

You're 24. You have time to meet a quality man. Decide what you want to do sooner than later. If you leave him now you will have way more options than if you leave him at 30. If you're miserable now, decide if there's anything you can do to save the relationship and if it's worth saving. If not, do you want to be in this for the rest of your life? It's up to you. But make a decision before you're 25 and you'll still have lots of options. Just don't leave it till you're in your 30s to leave him b…

Just to add to the financial and emotional catfishing - men often catfish by presenting a version of themselves that does not exist. The 'committed loyal loving man' you fell for isn't actually real, he likes you but not all that much and is actually pursuing other women and not loyal or honest at all, and your 'financially successful' partner isn't real, he's actually struggling financially and presenting a dishonest shiny version of himself to you that you're falling for. I know it's often har…

Agree it's more of a spirituality and mindset thing. You can go to your job and then come home and meditate , cook, etc. You can walk in nature at lunch time and take time out on the weekends to [insert divine feminine activities]

Yes also agree emotional catfish. Telling a woman she's the only one while actually pursuing or interested in other women or and open to opportunities should they arise. Zero loyalty. Also, lying about their intentions, telling a woman they want marriage or a LTR or wanting kids when they know that's what many women need to hear to have sex, and after a few months of sex they break up or cheat. If they said the truth it would be "I'm only interested in casual sex and I'm also seeing/interested i…

So many men catfish women financially. They pretend they are successful, worth more or have better career prospects or talk up their average job to increase their value in the eyes of women and options to attract more women, but truth is they are struggling or average financially and putting on a front and actually deep in debt or won't be able to sustain it long term (e.g. it's just in the dating phase /trying to sleep with you phase and once married or in a LTR will cut back financially and sh…

"he seemed interested" - his actions indicate he's interested in the thrill of the chase and interested in having fun with you, spending time with you but not in commitment. He might like you but not enough to want you to be his gf or a relationship with you. The real signs that he's actually interested in a relationship is him asking you to be exclusive and asking if you want to commit. If anything you should be the one talking to others while the guy should be the one asking to tie you down an…

100% agree with this. He's not all that into you or he'd want to commit and wouldn't be talking to other girls. you're just someone he's having fun with right now. He's talking to others Cos he's looking for something else, what you give him in some ways isn't enough for him. And if he does eventually commit it'll be because he's settling and might one day cheat, you'll be married but he'll still be looking for that something else and open to it, and one day if he finds it he'll leave you cos yo…

Girl don't waste your time on this man. He's manipulative and using you. He's 34 and has way more experience at manipulating. IMO he's being dishonest, either he just wants to sleep with you and knows you wouldn't do that if he told you the truth and said he just wanted a casual no strings attached relationship or he is ambivalent about you, doesn't like you that much and is still talking to other girls to see if there's anyone out there he likes better before settling for you. The fact that he …

While I do make provider level money, I only work 9-5 same as any secretary or person in a lower paying role. I come home at the same time as everyone else and do all the feminine things for him like cooking cleaning laundry give him massages bake cookies wear nice feminine clothing etc. The only difference is how much income I get, so basically if I lied and told him I earn a quarter of what I earn now, he'd be none the wiser and provide for me I think that's the solution

Mid 20s, not living together and only a few months in. If we were to live together though he'd want me to split rent and groceries etc

If you read the extra info in the comments yes I cook him dinner all the time, do his laundry, clean his place, give him massages, bake him cookies etc all things that are in my feminine energy I also wouldn't mind if we always stayed in and ate at home, he insists we go out on dates, and that's when I feel that it's awkward if I pay for the bill because he's the one asking me out
/r/RedPillWomen26/05/23 08:59 AM

Ah you're very right and I can see what the problem is. I get into a masculine space when paying for a date. Maybe all women dont and I'm very keen to understand how? And how I can learn to do this in a playful feminine way? When I pay for a date with a man my body feels stiff and uncomfortable and tense. I even walk with a slightly more masculine walk and hold myself in a masculine way, as if I am taking care of someone weak (him) that I am providing for and after that I'll treat him like a mal…

Yes I think you hit the nail on the head. I have to think about if this dynamic is what I want Also when I'm more equal and mates I do less feminine things. So right now I do his laundry, give him massages, cook for him, bake him cookies, do his cleaning etc etc. Just because I love being feminine and womanly around him If he wants more of a mates dynamic I won't do those things Not out of spite but just like I won't be in my feminine space and I'll be in more of a masculine or equal space and I…

He might be a high earner but I earn just as much as him so in a career sense we are equals. I just want to have the same masculine feminine dynamic and chivalrous energy that other women have gotten with him in the past I want a MAN and it sucks that with me he won't be that when he usually is with other woman who earn less and it's because he knows about my career

Why and how?
/r/RedPillWomen26/05/23 02:15 AM

Yes of course I would. That's a silly question. We have a lot in common and a great relationship. I've dated men who earn way less and they still were masculine, would pick flowers from the garden if they couldn't afford to buy flowers, would take me out rarely but when they did they'd always pay as opposed to with him he wants to go out to eat very often and wants to split with me. I'd rather he do less in actual financial terms and just be a man. Take me out once every 3 months but pay instead…

But I still do all those things too! :( I still give him my time and effort and care and I do his laundry and cook for Him and I give him massages and bake cookies and all those feminine things too just like the other women. He just also expects me to pay and be all masculine because of my career but it feels unfair cos I have to do more than what he normally expects of a woman because of my income

So what should I do?
/r/RedPillWomen26/05/23 02:05 AM

Yeah it's more about masculine and feminine roles of leading and following and how that's romantic and a turn on. A man paying all the time allows the woman to just "let the man be the leader and take care of it" and she can focus on being soft and feminine and supportive and in the feminine gender role. It doesn't matter if it's a $2 piece of candy or a whole dinner it's still a turn on because the man steps into that masculine role and acts chivalrous and gentlemanly and it's the man and looki…

Woops replied to this above how it's more about the hurt feelings cos in the past he's treated lower income women a lot better and been more romantic and chivalrous so they get to be soft and feminine and appreciative but with me he's expecting me to step into a masculine space and it doesn't feel romantic
/r/RedPillWomen26/05/23 01:49 AM

Sorry what I meant to emphasize was how it hurts my feelings the way in the past hes treated lower income women more romantically than how he treats me.the issue was when we discussed it he said in the past he'd never let a woman pay if she didn't have a great income and it was because of my career and income that he felt it was polite if I paid sometimes. The issue is it hurt my feelings because women without careers get to be soft and feminine with him and he pays and is chivalrous and a provi…

He asked me to pay and we had a conversation about it and past dating behavior. He revealed that in the past if there was more of financial gap between him and the woman he'd always pay but since I had a great career and income he thought I should pay sometimes. And I felt hurt cos I was like "but I'm still a woman" just because I earn more doesn't mean he should be less chivalrous or less romantic with me and push me into a masculine space.

Did you see the bit where he said he would happily get the bill every time if the woman couldn't afford it. So women without great careers get better treatment from him and get to see his romantic sweet side but because of my career I get the 50/50 side which feels like we're just mates and not romantic. That's what's hurting my feelings
/r/RedPillWomen26/05/23 01:40 AM
2

Except that he has said hed never want a woman to pay if she didn't have a great career. He's all sweet and romantic with women who cant afford to pay. He's punishing me for having a career because with us when I pay it feels like we are mates and it doesn't feel sweet or romantic And it hurts to know this isn't his standard practice. He's chivalrous with women who don't have great jobs which is what makes me feel hurt that I don't get the same level of romantic behavior
/r/RedPillWomen26/05/23 01:36 AM

Not really because women who can pay for themselves do not need him for his money. The gold diggers do need him, they can't eat without him. But they get the chivalrous "I will provide for you and be your man" gentlemanly version and it's all sweet and romantic whereas a woman who doesn't need him for his money gets the "we are just mates let's split this" version which is such a turn off and doesn't feel romantic of relationshipy at all it just feels like being mates
/r/RedPillWomen26/05/23 01:35 AM
-3

What about the fact that he said if a woman earned less than me he'd never let her pay. It's just because I have the capacity to because of my career that he expects me to and I am an exception to his chivalry which hurts my feelings because I know other woman who earned less would get the gentleman chivalrous version of him but I get the 50/50 version I am jealous of these other women hes dated in the past who got the chivalrous version of him because they didn't have careers

We are both dating for a long term relationship with a future. By committed do you mean marriage? I'm not asking for much but Yes I am looking for a boyfriend who will get the bill on dates even before we are married but that's it. I never ask him to get groceries or anything else
/r/RedPillWomen25/05/23 11:27 PM

So what should I do? Split the bill? Its just such a turn off. Also if I didn't have the career I do, I think he'd never split the bill out of kindness cos he's a kind person. It's just because I also have my own money which seems unfair to me when I know for a less earning woman he'd always pay. What would be the red pill woman way of approaching this conversation?
