I went online with an app called whisper and vetted many men and said no. Then when my husband caught my eye by being conversational, I asked him for a picture of himself, and he passed my picture test of attraction, you have to like their face to stay attracted, and he is fit enough and relatively stays that way without working out so that's a bonus. We texted back and forth for five hours straight about life goals to see if our futures aligned, they did, so we met up for breakfast the next morning on a Sunday. We've been together ever since and have done nothing but improve and grow together. We've had our ups and downs on improving and growing and we've always stayed honest with each other. Because of this mutual desire to be better and improve we've since got married and had our first baby. This was my vetting process and I encourage all women to practice this, the higher self awareness you have the better relationship outcomes you will experience.

Some people think it's shallow to send pictures and then find a dead end in a conversation but oh well, better to save your money online and vet the person first than vet the person on a first date, and even then you have all the unnecessary pressure to be "right" during that extremely awkward time. I like the internet because you can cut the shit and get to the point. Wish more women did this. Just still be extremely careful with internet dating, as you will always never really know the person until time has passed.
