Is this supposed to be your mission..? I want a woman to have as a wife to start a family. Part of this is a perceived need for intimacy/companionship Because if so, abort. That is not a mission. Find a thing to do that makes this woman your copilot, something tailored to both your and her areas of expertise. Otherwise what's so special about you that she can't go pop out a few babies with a man who's clearly better than you? This post reeks of insecurity. Lay down the law with an abundance mind…

Yours is a problem of impotence and idolatry. You rebuke your flesh for being normal human flesh, and yet worship the sinful desire nonetheless. However, what you desire is not actually love and sex it is fornication and pornography. That feeling of intense longing is not one for relationship it is for power, control and dominance. If it wasn't, you would be perfectly satisfied with marrying a typical nice, average looking and chubby lady and plonking out a few kids. But that's not how you want …

Probably the latter. But if you like you could probably approach the topic in passing, letting her know your intent - that you're trying to do the right thing for the relationship with the best outcome in mind. Apologize if you've been overbearing or controlling, and let her know it's a work in progress that you really want her to be a part of. It's a fine line to walk and it will take calibration and discussions. There's not a lot of positive examples to work with out there, but if you want you…

If you're showing strong convictions in this area, you need to show those same convictions in other areas. If you fight her on them she's not going to respond positively towards you. Stoicism is the right way. Compassionate understanding. She is testing this resolve, and poking for your weaknesses. If you are emanating this as a strong resolute frame, it is a good thing. She will trust you more. However, if you are projecting instead, and not being authentic, she will lose respect for you becaus…

You're gonna get some crap here for not posting your stats but right away I can simply tell you you're not going to get very far if your focus is on women. From the sounds of it you're stuck in idolatry, and its going to take you a while to break out of those habits. Women are invariably unattracted to needy men. Until your needs are fully met by yourself and through the LORD (as in what you're responsible for bringing to the table, as well as what YHWH sustains you with) there's no point in cha…

She enters a state of panic and will not listen to reason. I've tried the "Change her mood, not her mind" strategy to some degree of success, but I'm still working out exactly how to do that. It's a strange routine to witness, to be sure. The panic attack becomes a tantrum if she feels that her irrational fears are not acquiesed.

many men choose to handle that by getting angry in response. This is a weak, self-defeating approach that usually just makes things worse Yes. This is how I feel, this is what happens. Be amused at her anger Yes. A++. I have done this. It is my most successful tactic by far. However, it is not always applicable to every situation. If you become angry, defensive, hurt, etc., then the message you’ve sent to your grandmother is: “You are more powerful than I am. You have the power to affect my emot…

Women instinctively ascribe their personal status to the status of their mates. It's a big reason why women typically leave loser men yet men don't typically leave loser women.

IMO people are being pushed towards a dependence on the state, which will replace nearly every role that men have traditionally occupied. Therefore it is essential that men be domesticated and infantilized to the point where they exist but are unnecessary. Everything associated with classical masculinity must be eliminated in order for this transition to be successful. It is not something to be remedied, it is by design.

Thanks for this post. It would be great to have a full-on social skills guide, too many people I meet these days are plain old socially awkward and I find myself carrying the conversation all day long. I get tired of it. Especially church folks. The women do all the talking and the men tag along sheepishly behind!

No and the reason is twofold - You can/will eventually hit a split later on in your workout routine. You will do opposing muscle groups each time you hit the gym. Eventually your lifts will reach the level where you will NOT be able to complete a routine without resting the day prior. Stronglifts isn't really a 'workout' it's a strength building routine with progressive overload. You will get VERY strong doing SL5x5.

I highly recommend spending a significant amount of time in meditation. Not the "empty your mind" kind of stuff, but quiet time in reflection and introspection. Find a place outdoors like a beach, forest or somewhere you enjoy the atmosphere and feel relaxed. Let it be a place of solitude, where few passersby would interrupt your thoughts. Then let the ideas flow. I would even bring a notepad or journal to write down things you come up with. Spend plenty of time here just letting yourself think …

Pedophilia is an attraction to prepubescent children. A teenager is not a child. It is completely different from being attracted to a healthy, reproductively capable young woman. Were you a pedophile at 13 because you were attracted to other 13 year olds? Obviously not. In ancient Judea, a boy was considered a man at 13 and often married at 14. For girls it was the same. We do not live in that culture anymore and norms have definitely changed, but it is in no way strange or abnormal from a biolo…

But it IS king. Especially in the postmodern perspective (Woke, marxist types). It is impossible to reconcile both the traditional view and the new math we are expected to learn. They are incompatible on a fundamental level. The traditional way of doing things was borne out of survival and had many supporting structures in place to keep it functioning. We've done away with those things (community, family, logic, etc.) so trying to apply the same standards of morality within this framework is fut…

LOLLLLL Fair enough. Though I think all this statement proves is that virginity is the ideal, and not always a dealbreaker. A used ferrari with $50,000 in repairs would not be worth the investment to most men.

Not according to the law. Consent is king. 16 is the age of consent. Anything else is subjective assessment of maturity. How are you qualified to make that authoritative decree?

Yes I agree. Its as though the idea is to promote promiscuity at that age (Sexual liberation! Freedom!) without any kind of restraint (that marriage would naturally produce). This is toxic and extraordinarily destructive to the institution of marriage. Marriage is a partnership that is mutually beneficial for BOTH parties. Not a system of control. Otherwise under that logic, why shouldn't someone abandon the idea of partnership, simply take that same 16 yo and do a pump and dump? How is that any…

Examine your mental framework. You are assessing this situation through a modern lens, where any pursuit by a man of a woman is considered predatory. Biological analogies aside, the assumption here is that under all circumstances when a man is interested in a virgin it is for some kind of perverse, toxic, oppressive goal. How is this situation presenting itself to be under those conditions? What kind of indications has this person given that he is only interested in grotesqueries? I don't see an…

Examine the standards you have for yourself in regards to your career. Do you feel lacking in some area? Improve. Do you see opportunity to advance? Take it. I've been working on this a bit, myself. Personally I think the best thing you can do is just spend time with women without goals in mind. Learn what they are like. Watch them in action. I think the trouble most men have these days is we spend so little time around actual women and so much in the sphere of media influence, we have some unrealistic expectations of females. This encourages objectification and abstractions of females, rather than forming relationships.

Until you address the ROOT of these problems, they will likely never go away. Also, many Christians dismiss the power of exorcism (not necessarily the catholic, made-for-TV-type but simply spiritual authority) in combatting things like this, but in my experience as a professed skeptic, they have been surprisingly helpful. You feel ashamed and guilty over this behavior, and that's a normal response to something you don't want to be a part of your personality. However, it IS a part of your persona…

You might need a detox. Sex will muddle your brain, make you unable to assess the situation clearly. If you're anything like me, it won't even seem like anything's changed, but deep down you know it did. IMO you need to find a way to let the passions die out and regain conscious control of yourself to the degree where if the opportunity presents itself again for you to sin, you will be able to think clearly enough to say "Nah." "FLEE TEMPTATION". When Joseph was targeted by Potifer's wife, he bo…

I second this. You are being violated, with minimal shame. Your wife (thus far) has not taken responsibility for her desires for this other man. You need to lay down the ultimatum here. Obviously there's nothing you can do to stop a person from being attracted to someone else. Married or not, its just not a possibility. But she is responsible for how she is going to handle these emotions, which has been poorly so far. She is blatantly and unrepentantly disrespecting you. Shut that stuff down.

You don't need to make women your priority right now. As you are making your way through your mission and in your life, you will meet various females that catch your interest. Believe me, even at 35 and still being single, there has almost never been a shortage of available females around for me to chat up, typically with 1-2 of them being datable. There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting married in your late 20's, 30's or even 40's. Some people get married later than that. Nobody's timetab…

This was the original living situation of most people in Jewish households back in biblical times and presumably before. Pretty sure this kind of extended family presence is what established the idea of tribes, kin, family crests, etc. I've always felt it was a significantly better way of living because you're literally never alone unless you want to be and you have an extended support network at your fingertips. Find out what it is that you mean by "attracted" to, define those things as explicitly as you can, and then determine how realistic those criteria are. Ask yourself why those individual things matter. Then ask yourself if you can even handle being responsible for a family. How are YOU doing individually? Are you able to fully provide for YOURSELF? BY yourself? If no, you're not ready. Don't fall prey to the bullhype put out there by the media. Sex is meant for marriage ONLY, and you invite all k…

I think a lot of judgment of homosexuals comes from people not fully understanding it or its origins. Nobody in society wants to have the honest conversations necessary to deal with it, and they would rather proscribe the practice altogether than try to help a gay person integrate with their particular struggle. It is the original ultimate taboo. I try to take the perspective that a person's sexual orientation, whether gay or straight, is just what you've said - an honest dialogue between themse…

It's more than that. Feminism isn't the advocacy for equal rights for women that its activists would have you believe, it's ACTUALLY about the destruction of the ENTIRE "patriarchal" system altogether. It CLAIMS to be about making life better for women, but it in fact has done much more to anger and exploit women than it has to help them. It has destroyed father daughter relationships, encouraged promiscuity and hedonism, skyrocketed divorce and put more women on welfare than ever before in hist…

Don't listen to that guy he's an angry man. There's a lot of trust and submission required in order for this strategy to work, I think it's intended for men who have a lot of the other areas figured out already. Every girl I've done this with has LOVED it but only when they were in a position where they felt safe with me enough to let go and let me be in control. Logic is flawed because God invented food, dancing and music, but Yoga I am certain he did not. So why would I partake with the unclean, God says be holy as I am holy, so I am going to do that. The world is already gone down, why go with them. I'd say its fair enough if you're avoiding as much of it as possible, but you can't avoid it all. Shouldn't grace be enough? If you're sensitive to those demonic things or you notice your life changing for the negative after behaving in such a manner (doing yoga) wouldn't it make sense to stop? But as Paul says, all foods are made clean and holy. I use that same logic here. If you're doing Yoga in a group of people who are actively practicing Yogic spirituality, yeah I'd say maybe back out. I don't dispute aspects of what you've said here, but I do question how you draw the line between what is acceptable in your eyes and what is easily brushed aside. If you want to hold to the legalistic perspective, you could argue that watching practically ANY form of visual media, or listening to the radio is a danger to you. As sons of God the spirits have no authority over us. We can walk right over them. Otherwise the Apostles would have had zero authority to stop epilepsy in its tracks, or restore sanity to the mindless. If the power of God can work miracles like that with just a word, there's not ghost that can't be cast out and exorcised. What kind of portal are you imagining opening? A shortcut to McDonalds? No but really, what on earth are you even talking about, and how did you get this idea?

Ultimately this is what I was going to try to analyze, whether the values that this person has are unknowingly in line with those types of books. Most people wouldn't recognize it. Most Christians don't even recognize it. People's values set them up to accept some pretty interesting premises, and I think it's important to recognize that folly can come with having blinders on, no matter which direction it is that you choose. Yeah I've heard a lot of that rhetoric and to be fair there are some things that we can do that we have no idea are destructive. Just because we aren't aware of it doesn't mean its not hurting us. But I'm hard pressed to believe stretching is one of them.

I believe it's foolish to think that every aspect of Yoga is going to be the doorway to demonic posession or inspiration. It's definitely more the mental and spiritual aspects of it that can be dangerous. Stretching is stretching. You don't have to talk to shiva or whoever the heck while you do yoga stretches, or meditate, or anything like that. You don't need to practice anything heathenistic about it and can still reap the benefits of bodily exercise. Yoga aside, I think the principle that OP …

I don't subscribe to everything that RPC proposes (or its mods), but without a doubt the information here has helped orient me towards a masculine identity that I want to move towards. It might help you to remember that your wife will never be your mother, loving you and obsessing over you. You are never going to experience with your wife what you experience with porn. Porn exploits the wiring in your brain that seeks sexual release with multiple partners, and leaves you with zero accountability to the children that would otherwise be born out of those unions. Your experience with a wife will be EXTREMELY different from this, even if you find someone who is sexually compatible with you. Your perspective on these things change as you get older and gain more experience in life and in relationships. I don't think it's wrong to desire a chaste wife but it's also no longer the most important element in searching for a life partner. If you're concerned about this in any serious capacity, you need to investigate the roots of CRT which are in postmodern ideology. Jordan Peterson touches a lot on this subject and so does Helen Pluckrose. Yes. Pornography meets several emotional and physical needs, and has a spiritual component to it. You cannot point at a guy involved with porn and simply say "Oh the man is just aroused and that is the sole reason he would ever turn to pornography." Consider how many men visit prostitutes and never actually copulate with them, but instead sit for hours and connect with a female vis a vis emotional intimacy. I've looked into this a little bit and one thing that definitely resonated with me was that sex and sexuality are intimately (pun intended) linked with the energy of creation. Don't vape it either. Mix it with an emulsifier (lecithin) and oils, use it as a tincture. It is very difficult to fractionate out THCa using a vape, even with controlled temperature dials. Also the THCa doesn't get to metabolize into 11-Hydroxy-THCa which is a more potent and bioavailable form. The arrogance of definitive statements like the one OP makes here astound me. Anatomically modern Human beings have been around for over 300,000 years and only in the last 300 have we begun to adopt a strictly materialist paradigm on reality. "Oh we know everything there is to know about the mind and the mysteries of the heart we can model it on this computer screen" bullshit we can't even agree on climate change or how giant ass pyramids were built out in the middle of nowhere. I'll tell you wh…

I don't really know what to say, brother. You seem pretty disillusioned with Christians, and honestly I don't blame you. So am I. I'm crippled, and only one person from my church comes to visit. If I weren't friends with him before I became this way, he likely wouldn't. For as long as I've attended my current church, the pastor has been more concerned with growing the congregation than serving it. There have been three failed church plants, and the few groups that were meeting have by and large …

Not at all, my dude. Basically this post isn't really about abstinence. It's more about acting the part as a follower of Christ. Step out in faith to meet others' needs who are hurting rn, offer help wherever you can without being a doormat, contribute to your community as best as possible in the current circumstances. Should you ever encounter a hostile or oppositional force, treat them with kindness and compassion rather than trying to defend your point or stand against them politically. Heap …

Lil man, a word of advice for you - You are not "Losing your faith", you are QUESTIONING your faith. You're 15, you have no reasonable idea how the world works (I know it feels like you do, it definitely did for me when I was your age) and perhaps just now you're confronted with opposing ideas that challenge your established religious view and paradigm. People, particularly Christians, spend decades learning how things decidedly are only to have a single moment cause them question everything the…

I will offer insight from my own struggle with this. Take if its relevant and resonates, otherwise let it simply be something worth considering. You are probably subconsciously hyper-fixated on appearance, and it is a dominating force in your mate-selection. This may be because you are not quite secure with your own self or appearance and attracting hot women may be a source of validation that you are also attractive. The hotter, the more validating when they approve of you. Women naturally make…

Your advice is good, but don't call Jordan Peterson a huckster. He's been absolutely pivotal in helping me deal with issues such as self-worth, boundaries, personal responsibility and others. He is a very useful resource, and gives quite a bit of credit to Judeo-Christianity for his values and perspective on life. The Lord is obviously the original author on these things and seeking Him is your best bet, but IMO the Lord is using JP as a means to that end.

Yes I have it on audio book through Audible app. Got it free there. I listen to it in the car. GREAT CONTENT.

Yep. It’s all an act bro. When bullet hits the bone and all the distractions and merriment are gone they are terrified because their lives are materialistic and vapid. Look up Jordan Peterson’s videos on promiscuous behavior and he’ll educate you on why it’s a BAAAAAAAAD idea. GL lil bro

I know this is a late reply to your comment but it struck me and I had to add to your insight- We teach others how to treat us. The way you see yourself plays a huge part in how others are going to see you. If you don’t treat yourself like crap, hold yourself to a high standard and have self respect people are going to notice and treat you accordingly. Not to say they won’t ever challenge that respect or act in opposition to your silent declaration, but that’s when you bring out Ye Olde Backhand…

How could you possibly hold it against females to be drawn to feminism? "And you will desire to control your husband, but he will rule over you.” -Gen 3:16 Just remember if they're feminist, they're not Christian. My personal advice would be just ignore those thots and move on. 3rd and 4th wave (read:modern) Feminism is in direct opposition to the bible and you won't find anything happy there. Welcome to the Christian Dating Minority my friend.

Expect that you’re probably going to make a lot of the same mistakes as the rest of the guys here, but that’s not a bad thing. Experience is the best teacher so go into each new circumstance knowing what is coming but have grace and patience with yourself to carry you through each inevitable failure and into your next soaring success

I like to think of it this way: Men need Respect to feel loved. Women need Love to feel respected. Break it down however you want, it's facts.

You're still worked up about YOUR perception of other's perception of you. STFU. Read sidebar, work on yourself. If you truly respect yourself and are confident in who you are, you'll know intrinsically how to defend yourself or communicate. Even with women.

IDK man if you show absolute competence in your ability to both protect AND provide, that's pretty damn sexy. I think it's more important that you maintain your frame and she always knows that you're CHOOSING to serve her, not obligated to or attempting to please her like some beta chump.

Nice dude. It's rough, but without something akin to a Rite-of-Passage in this day and age for men, how are we supposed to believe in ourselves? It's easy to find one's self positioned at the bottom of the social hierarchy as a result. Don't get hung up on this. As men we all must go through the modern equivalent of a lion-slaying, to rise through the ranks. Sadly, there is no authentic 'tribal recognition' after completing this Rite that our primitive minds crave, and so instead we must celebra…

Once you start burning fat for fuel and get over your carb cravings (carb cravings feel almost exactly like hunger) you can forget to eat. I've inadvertently lost 40lbs because I would go through a day without eating more than 1-2k calories thinking I was fine because I was just burning body fat for fuel. I've got crazy definition now without working out for it. So... downside? Kinda?

I think this guy is a great example of how to be a leader to your family and lead with confidence. Thanks for your post! That being said, it's important to remember that we are all individuals with our own unique personalities and manifestations of said confidence and leadership ability. Yours will not necessarily look like this. A strong leader is not always the "Alpha Male" of the group. I know of men who are quiet and reserved, but lead with an air of total competence and I would follow them …

The most important thing to do when beginning an exercise program is finding something that you enjoy doing. If you are a masochist you might be able to get away with an activity you don't particularly enjoy for the benefit of strength/size gains, but in general if you do one that you like, you will see gains faster. Not to suggest that you shouldn't do lifting. I love lifting, it is one of my favorite things to do. Even if you're not pushing for gains, and are doing maintenance lifting or an ea…
