Yes I’m sure I’m not talking about ‘boomer married couples’. Most people are average, right? That’s the definition of average. So, no there isn’t this huge divide of average men being left out and all these average women having their cookie cutter boyfriends and husbands. I’m pretty sure If they did, you wouldn’t hear nearly as much complaints from both sides. That’s the reason why in the past, people only mainly dated in their communities and dated people they knew for most of their lives.

Yes I’ve seen some of them. It’s hard not to when you’re in college. But I still always see all kinds of combinations of couples. Unattractive with unattractive, hot with hot, unattractive with hot and the other way around. Sometimes it’s just about being in a close proximity to people for them to even consider you, whether you’re a man or woman. Never hurts to build your reputation with people you know so they can vouch for you. I think that’s better than the apps and clubs for anyone.

Are clubs, apps, and bars your only examples? That’s not really representative of all men and women, is it? I don’t think so.

It’s attainable. Are the essentials listed things you wouldn’t want in a woman?

I think this also depends on where you live but yes it happens to both genders, that’s kind of what I was getting at. There’s also the chance of being set up, probably more likely for a man to get set up to fight a couple guys but rape still is common it just doesn’t happen to everyone though regardless of gender. I was arguing that it is less likely to happen to both genders If they wait and get to know people.

True. I always thought that take was so dumb because it’s not like people can choose their sexuality and who they are or aren’t attracted to.

I agree with you and OP to a certain extent. Sometimes it isn’t really having options but then sometimes it is. It’s better to have more options than very few options. I think it’s more options If you consider the friends and acquaintances that you’ve made over the years but strangers, whether you’re a man or woman, there’s a certain risk. Robbery, rape, being used/manipulated. I think it’s safer for everyone to just rely upon those acquaintances, friends of friends, friends of your family, or f…

Yes. I also wouldn’t blame men too much on this one considering women do it too, I’ve done it once or twice, not the lusting part but more so I misread men’s body language once or twice in thinking they were/weren’t interested in me and it happened to be the opposite of what I thought overtime. It happens to the best of us. Also you have great takes on this.👏:)

I agree and also I think it’s because they also see what’s happening on social media. Being influenced by different opinions such as “don’t approach”, “Do approach”, “Be like Chad” (can’t tell you how much I’ve heard that one). They end up going to two different extremes, 1. Avoid all women or 2. Approach and make a woman uncomfortable intentionally or unintentionally (mostly I believe) and then when they fail they take it as women will never like them. And the third one where they befriend wome…

This! Also when you know a person already it can feel good because you have some degree of good and bad memories together. Which makes it easier to go on a date with each other If romantically interest is indicated on both sides. That way If it doesn't work out, it's less likely to crush both people and they can work it out together with their mutual friends and family. Not to mention 🤷‍♀️ she could change her mind later because she gets to know you even more and how you interact with other peop…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
