Give me your examples: Where do you think women and men err as they view an issue through their gendered lens?

What comes to my mind:

  1. Male fallacy:

Mens' false assumption: "Women withhold sex to manipulate men" (a recent one).

Female consensus was: Wrong. Women don't withhold sex, they genuinely don't want it if there's conflict with their partner.

  1. Female fallacy (going out on a limb here as a woman myself)

Women's false assumption: "Not having sex right away and first getting to know each other means that I'm looking for long-term compatibility, and not just a hookup. He should feel honored!"

Mens' consensus: "There's no such thing as being used for sex, bring it on!"
