Men care about income but it has nowhere near the level of importance women put on income. I was in a relationship with a girl who owned a $14M apartment and another girl who was even richer than her, It wasnt enough to keep me around, the money just wasnt important, it would have been nice if i was genuinely more into them but that wasnt the case. I work in corporate and the girlboss that nobody wants to date is a very real stereotype, men have totally different motivators.

genuinely good guys who would be a decent catch ? about 10%. Something that makes redditors butthurt, the popular people at school are quite often also the good ones.

Thats true, people who are 35+ are the last people to have seen the pre-internet era, dating websites (apps as a concept didnt come until my 20's) were invented in my teens and had a stigma about them forever until tinder took off so all through my early 20's I'd meet women the normal way and occasional ones via apps/sites.

I mean yeah. I remember hearing an interview from some guy who was one of those famous pickup artists like 20 years ago back when mystery and co were on MTV and the advice he gave was golden. Paraphrasing it was something like "All of that advice was only useful if you were a guy who could already go to a club and find a date, it was improvement ontop of what you had. People today who have nothing going for them will gain nothing from the stuff we taught back then" IMO step 1 is be a guy a woman…

It was pretty easy. I was in a position to date a lot and did have an active dating life for my adult years, I saw all types of women the good and bad. when I met my wife she fitted naturally with me. As time progressed that only continued and thats prettymuch how it went. Step 1 of actually being somebody that a woman would want to date cannot be understated enough, the right one might be out there but you arent going to find her if you are a goober.

This folds into the whole "everyone is valuable, everyone is special in their own way" mentality that gets pushed on impressionable minds. Sad truth for some is that some people arent valuable, some people arent special and some people are just undateable, cant do anything about it its just reality.

Crazy thing about my 30's was I went on wayyyyyyy more dates but slept with way less women because I was much more picky about who I would get into bed with knowing that if it wasnt working it would be much harder to extricate myself from the situation, much easier to dump someone you havent slept with yet.

No idea why you think being "youthful" has anything to do with it. Your 30's are hard to date if you are loser who didnt set yourself up in your 20's. Ive known many a guy who as long as they stayed fit and got a decent job had zero issues dating and were spoiled for choice. I personally once getting fit and getting into dating post-covid was lining up 2-3 first dates a week until I met my fiance.

gonna be real, I barely comment anymore but this sub has taught me two things. Most guys on the internet in male/mra/pill spaces are massive losers who just want to vent. Women will never give an honest answer, even on an anonymous forum.

Its not a winning strategy but sometimes it can work out, guys who had zero luck in their younger years will probably still suck when older unless they made massive changes. Personally I had a crazy active early-mid 20's and experienced the same in my early-mid 30's with women who were in the same age group both times, a lot of guys my age never had either. I knew one guy who was a loser in his 20's but then in his 30's was a successful real estate agent with the car, nice suit, status etc and h…

It feels correct to me, When I think back to my highschool day and how many guys actually had girlfriends or we knew that they got laid the numbers were crazy small. Like me and a few of my friends had girlfriends but so many guys I dont think ever came close to dating, It was probably the most visual display of the 80-20 rule in highschool. And it was always the same guys, like the guys who were dating would get new gf's with time but the guys who werent would basically never be seen with anyon…

Women were never expected to work... Women forced themselves into the workplace and created an economy which now requires women to work, that dosent change the fact that feminine qualities are what men are interested in. Thats the reality that women campaigned for and now live in, you can't go back. Moreover its not that hard to do household labour, men have had to do their share of that for sometime now, its a million times easier than being an actual labourer.

Its totally fine, If all women stopped having sex tomorrow and agreed to a worldwide hiatus somehow then it would still be women who would suffer for it The majority of men already live without sex not by their own choice, men are fine and are able to exist.

Its totally fine, If all women stopped having sex tomorrow and agreed to a worldwide hiatus somehow then it would still be women who would suffer for it, Women are totally blind to just how much of society exists to womens benefit based on the idea that women might have sex with you. Take that away and women get to experience the world through the lens of a short, small man, but for real.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 05:35 AM

less than given the above info, The video of the dude who is one of the interview respondents seems like the type of guy who'd admit to anything for goodboy points.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 01:42 AM

yeah cool, I musnt know the 30% of men this article applies to, nevermind that article never goes into details and while mentioning SA was 2% says that "a form of violence" counts for 35%. Given that speaking loudly could count in this report i dont think its a good article at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 12:44 AM

I know anectodtal evidence, personal experience vs stats etc etc but personally every SA/DV allegation ive personally witnessed turned out to be a lie or the reverse was true, I know they exist but every one Ive encountered turned out to be a flat out lie, still the accused guys suffered for it and the women got away with zero consequences.

Riskier for women tbh, Women have finite time and bet their financial future on relationships whereas even if I were in my 50's I could start over without much issue.

HARD AGREE. Its a huge issue in general that reddit is a cesspool of losers, you see this in finance subs too when someone who actually has real money comes asking for financial advice for example. So many men/women here have no experience or live in the real world yet love to give advice on how things really are.

My Criticism of TRP isnt the core ideals, its that it (and most mens movements for that matter) get infested with bitter losers who drag the mood down. Recognizing reality then doing what you can to exist within it and get an upper hand if possible is the core, bitching because women don't want to date you is irrelevant and a YOU problem. Reminds me of an interview I saw with a guy that pioneered a lot of early TRP/Pickup stuff paraphrasing him: "The original stuff (pickup) was aimed at guys who…

He specifically mentioned an 8 year gap at 28 to 30. That’s pulling a college girl. And recreating that intoxicating first love, where nothing matters except lust and feels. Theres nothing wrong with this, you are just infantilizing and removing agency from women who are fully formed adults. This is usually just cope from bitter women.

Speaking facts. I know a woman who's got 3 kids to 3 dudes and owns 2 properties she got out of divorce settlement, still found a 4th dude to move her into yet another house and give her kid #4, Rinse and repeat. Also not a high quality or super hot woman, just standard, the truth is theres no shortage of desperate dudes out there.

most older men who go after younger women do have a fetishistic obsession with youth This is usually just cope from bitter women. Truth is I was in my early 30's and wanted to have a family, Building a relationship, getting married and having kids is going to take a few years on average to happen once I met the right person, I wouldnt want to be in a position where my partner is in their mid 30's and infertile or in a high risk position. Ill agree here to an extent, from a mans perspective: Not having any kind of dating life in your teens or very early 20's is probably the worst situation a man could be in, Thats the period where you can make mistakes and come to terms with some of the harder facts of dating and rejections then improve on them at an age where you still have time and can make mistakes. Having to go through the woes of first relationships and romances in my mid 20's would be a waking nightmare. The portion of guys…

Dating is fine, continuing to date multiple past a few dates isnt. Before I met my fiance I went a relentless dating spree to find a good long term relationship, i'd often be doing 2-3 first dates a week, quite often i'd already have 1-2 dates scheduled ahead of time because in reality you can meet someone who seems perfect and realize very quickly on the 1st date that its not going to work out. But once I met someone who seemed 2nd or 3rd date worthy i'd go back into a soft exclusive mode and w…

Appreciate the honesty, its refreshing to see what many of us already know and lived. Personally when I got into shape it was a real eye opener into how much looks affects dating, looks get you a ticket to entry in most cases and then your personality is what actually gets you more than a few dates.

its fine in principal but a lot of the new wave "passport bro" types are weird and cringe, truth is most women (and men) have somewhat similar core values on average and the rule still applies that if you cant find a girlfriend back home you probably wont have much luck abroad in finding a real relationship. This is a common take on the internet that many people who either dont have things great in life or are jealous of other make. Its the same cope you see when people think popular kids in school are jerks, people like to think that attractive people must be mean but honestly theyre much more likely to be nicer than ugly people who are more likely to be bitter at the world and how it treats them. honestly its usually because they are just losers themselves. Something ive noticed about attractive people is they are always also better better, kinder and nicer people. A fat or ugly person has poor impulse control and bad personality traits that make them that way.

Honest answer is if OLD isnt working then most other places wont either. Where did I meet women ? literally everywhere, at the beach, the shops, the mall, OLD, everywhere. dating isnt hard if you arent a fucking loser.

see what I mean, it was the loserspeak in the original post that gave it away. Nobody in the real world considers you a loser and 80 percent of the men HERE would do a backflip to date you . Despite all the mean shit they say here. Thats the truth of it. Every guy I know whos got a good relationship with a woman from a poorer country met through normal non passport-bro circumstances e.g he was living/working there or she was in the US for study when they met. All of the dudes I know who went abroad specifically to find a GF get zero respect and are basically just wallets and usually get divorced or cheated on. So so many of the passport bro youtubers are the second category but.

From what I can gather the red pill is a reference to some 26 year old sci-fi film, I think I’ve seen it once it was okay but even the film itself is anti red pill as the guy dies in the end and love brings him back to life it was his ability to believe in himself and except his title as the one, but I digress lmao wtf is even this sentence, either this post comes from the 3rd world or some source of ultimate cringe. your whole post sounds like the words of someone who's never interacted with a …

Women ice good relationships because she can't understand how her boyfriend/husband could find her attractive when she doesn't see it in herself. This one is very true, seen it and lived it before where A dude will be genuinely into a girl and a woman will talk herself out of it because she thinks hes not genuine or not good enough etc, its super weird.

Women thinking money, Career success and status = attraction from men. Usually its the opposite, nobody wants to date some corporate lady, theyre boring AF. Money also really dosent move the needle for men, best if gets them is a few more second chances but its not an attractor like it is when the situation is reversed.

Both charisma and confidence are shallow traits used to screen for deeper level important traits (social adaptability and general stability). you are spot on there, guys are like I'm a good dude while simultaneously having no social life.

Yes. You know what made the biggest difference ? getting shredded. Once I did that the whole RP thing was dumb, you arent going to change human nature, you arent going to improve anything, being attractive is all that matters honestly. Just think about it less, and maybe do more, touch some grass and everything will seem less dire. thats it, get fit, get on apps, get dates, dont be a loser.

The other NEGATIVE, is my other buddy, his wife is constantly trying to fatten him up. Maybe it's a culture thing with latin women, I honestly don't know. this is 100% a latina thing, I'll be fasting, telling my wife so and she will go cook a giant lunch for me and "forget" i'm fasting. my MIL basically shovels food into my mouth.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/25 12:19 AM

yeah but all of this comes with the pretext that you are attractive. ugly/average dude trying this isnt going to get anywhere, will likely just get phased out as a creep. Even an attractive guy will get this if the tone of their relationship wasnt that way since day 1.

im highly skeptical of anyone who badmouths their ex, something about it always feels off and like you are covering for something you did that you dont want people to know. Even my worst ex's I basically never think about them and just dont really want to see them ever again. Also the part where every IRL case ive encountered of a woman having an abusive ex it turned out she was lying, so that too.

dude wtf are you on about. The match to date timeline is like 2-4 days, usually we exchange numbers within 15 mins of talking. Basically every first date is an opportunity for kissing or sex, or anything inbetween depending on the flow of the night. Thats the normal experience, most women arent going to wait a few weeks to silently make an assesment, we are catching up fast.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/25 02:56 AM

Thats a much more valid point ! Ive had several female long term friends in the past where it started as a mutual attraction that didnt pan out or one reason or another but we kept talking anyway. Also when I met my wife I still had to close out those friendships, because the truth is there is too much of an undercurrent for comfort, I dont think you can safely be just friends.

yes/no As a relationship progresses you are going to see the pro's and con's of a person, everyone has downsides and nobodies going to be 100% perfect. Long term relationships are when they pros outweigh the cons or the cons are tolerable. people these days expect everything to be perfect, long term couples have arguments all the time, they just resolve their problems.

Ive experienced this too, several years after hearing "x had a huge crush on you" about a girl who basically never spoke to me or even slightly interacted with me, all of them girls I would have asked out if I had the slightest hint from them, literally just a smile or a "hello" would have done.

Ive never seen an attractive successful woman who intimidated men, its always the same story. Those women dont realise that men care more about feminine qualities in a partner. Those women dont realise that men do not care about money anywhere close to what a woman does in reverse, money is more of a "nice to have" for guys when it comes to a partner. Ive seen some very attractive successful women who are perpetually single, they just dont get that when a guy looks at her compared to the waitres…

The point of seduction techniques is they work if you are a guy who can already go out on a weekend and meet women. If you arent already regularly dating and arent capable of getting numbers then seduction stuff isnt for you, its improvement for guys who already have a foundation to build on. it absolutely works on the majority of women, but you have to be a somewhat desirable guy to start, the stuff you learn is just tools to improve your closing rate / chance of success.

We put about 80% of our incomes into a joint account and then we just pay everything out of that bills, food, memberships etc etc. The remaining 20% we dont share is for stuff thats just for us e.g my overpriced gym and her overpriced nails or when we buy gifts for each other.

My personal reason is so many of them seem totally undateable even by foreigner standards. Im not talking fat neckbeards, I just mean they are always goofy weird guys with poor social skills, the type of guys who go overseas and end up getting married to a foreigner that legitimately loves them are the type of guys who also were likely to find someone in their home country.

ofcourse its weirdo behavior from the guy but a few points. Why tell him you have found someone else, just say "i'm not feeling it" and block them. Why let the convo continue, just say sorry and block. Why continue any of this at all, the guy is clearly unstable and she just seems to be pouring gasoline on the fire she made. Anyone who actually (I mean actually attracted to you) likes you is going to make it clear they want to sleep with you pretty fast, it may not happen on the first date but will happen as soon as the opportunity arises. yes, even women who arent the full package manage to not settle, settling is a thing for loser women. Ive known ugly women who go find a guy who's running a business and has his shit together, gives him a second half in a relationship and live happily ever after. Married man here, your stereotypes only apply to some people but I do believe in the "stereotype" from RP that a significant portion of men are basically non-people to women, imo if you arent in the top 20-35% you barely get tolerated. also if you arent atleast monthly dating or on a LTR your advice isnt valuable because you clearly dont know how to attract to women or dont have what it takes to start.

most girl bosses arent actually strong and independent though, They usually get handed a position of influence due to DEI policies then flaunt their status as if they actually earned it. Half of the keynote speakers at my cities "women in tech" meetings have never actually had a successful career and tend to float from one failed project to the next, I know several where dudes will literally transfer or find a new job if they get assigned to their BU.

I agree, its usually more of a social legitimacy thing among other guys (e.g that guy is successful in life and also have any woman he wants). but its also not a negative. In my experience ive never seen a guy who slept with a lot of women be unable to find a nice girl and settle down, infact they usually do easier than others. Also nelson mandela was a terrorist and is largely responsible for the hellish state of south africa today, rethink your role models.

Thats what they ignored in my post, I did spend a lot of effort on my profile and it didnt move the needle one bit until I became hot. There's no amount of money that could be offered to get me to be financially dependent on a man. If you think having a career is so horrible, become a house husband this is what i'm talking about, there would be no money offered because its not an option anymore, you dont have to worry about being a housewife because its not on offer these days except to the prettiest and most desireable top percent of women.

To me the solution seems simple, make it so people have to apply with a photo or two and a profile before they are accepted to go to the singles event. A big problem is these events get filled up with passed over women and loser men, if you screen it so everyone there is atleast a 6/10 you will have a much better event.
