I disagree with the requirement part, like I said the only thing controlling yourself should be you. But taking a break from relationships be it temporary or permanent, is healthy and should be encouraged

Find something to do solo, like a hobby or a game. I've been playing Escape from Tarkov recently and it's a difficult yet rewarding game that will keep your brain occupied, and theres even a community discord where you can play with other guys if you feel like meeting some new people.

I'd be moving from Texas, and I've always had a wistful euphoria towards Canada. I've had the same feeling towards other things in life, which I inevitably end up loving. Classic cars, for example. I had a dream about them once where I just felt so happy, and I've really liked them ever since. I love winter, and the south is just too hot for me. Canada is a beautiful country, and I can confirm that from my visit. I truly love the place.

I'm vacationing in Canada right now actually, this is my last day here. I've been to Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa and Montreal. A car isnt a problem, I already own one. Everyone here is super nice, especially the French-Canadians in Montreal. I do not intend to be in a relationship, but all of my interactions with women here were very polite and sweet. Thank you for your advice, though. I do appreciate it.

I personally believe that there are women out there that can be better than this. My father has a good friend that he shares art with that seems like a great woman, who gives more than she takes. She is married, and her husband is an amazing guy who pursues his own interests freely. I think there are many great women out there, even if few and far between. She is one of the only women I have ever met that is this good of a person. Nonetheless, gems like her are rare at times. Even my own mother …
