Apologies for the detour but I've been looking to get into crypto. Delete if necessary. Any recommendations on how to get started? I've thrown a little cash at the Paypal app crypto section. Nothing crazy. Just looking for a trustworthy source that doesn't feel like I'm getting scammed or sold a ton of crap.

If you're built for it look into becoming a lineman for a power company. A lot of the current workforce is aging and jobs will be in high demand. Not an easy gig, people are brutal, but when you get on a crew it's a true brotherhood. Not to mention big money on regular days, insane when you are on storm work after a hurricane or ice storm blows through.

Spot on how to. One trick I learned is to keep a sauce pan with stock warmed just below the boiling point to maintain the boiling of the risotto in the pan. Also, butternut squash in the risotto is one of my favorites. ​

A few nuggets to add... Re:#4. Don't only exercise your body. Exercise your mind. Read, and read more. The internet alone is a vast resource, the library is another. Both can be used for almost no money. Re:#1. As for work, if you can hack it, become a lineman. The money is amazing and far outweighs the downsides. Find a good lineschool, there are many out there. Companies will pay your travel, lodging, and food. Not to mention storm work that can net you well into the six figure mark.

In the Telco construction industry here. I've found two types. Women that bust their asses and ones that want to be carried. The latter is far more common. No grey area at all. Funny, not at all what I saw in school. At least for the guys. The Mullatto guys were pussy magnets. Especially if they were into Metal and in a band. As for the girls, well they appeared to have the same experience you explained. If any white girls slept with them they instantly became pariahs. Noone else would touch em. This left the mulatto guys with a harem. Granted this was the early 90's...ymmv

The writeup was getting a little long so I didn't go into much depth. She laid there and I got off. I really don't call that getting laid. I could have gotten better with a blow up doll. It's been tradition with my old man to go to a movie. (he raised me solo and i'm doing the same with my daughter)The usual summer block busters are in full swing this time of year. It also helps he's a huge movie buff. Afterwards we used to go get ice cream or something similar. Now days its relaxing with a beer afterwards. I can't imagine doing anything else. As for the spending gap; he's doing well with a movie, snacks, and beer afterward.

Noticed this one too. Actually, it reminded me of my grandmother (depression era mindset) that told me I need to learn how to iron. Then followed with..."That way you can teach your wife how you want it done." Granted, we're taking a different era, but this goes both ways.

Thank you. I can only hope my 17 year old daughter would write something like this someday. My daughter saved me from myself since she was two. I couldn't imagine what life would be like without her.
