When I think back on this type of shit it makes my blood boil! The only solace I have is knowing he's a bitchmade sad-sack who will never be happy and will never be as successful as me.

Her song "Me & U" is one of my fave of all time. Lovely singer and dancer! Glad she's happier.

FDS doesn't do FWBs and everything you're talking about is basically a situationship where he's just stringing you along. As others have said, read the handbook! It's a gem of info.

Congrats on those A's and B's girl! And way to block people who aren't helping you to level up :)

As someone who is into genealogy I can tell you that the whole last name thing really makes it difficult to track your female ancestors too. It just gets confusing, especially with Nordic cultures and their "so and so's daughter" being the format of their last names. It's also an erasure of them and their history in my eyes.

Yes! Exactly. They are personally offended when you stand up for yourself huh! It's amazing the clarity you get once out of these people's orbit. And how quickly we can flourish when not around them. They definitely hold us back and their shit catches up with them eventually! You ain't lyin when you say he will shrivel, as it really does seem like they wither and die because of not taking care of themselves. I hope you have a good weekend sis and I'm glad you're away from your ex!! :)

I hate their protestations of "I have to walk on eggshells around you!". I for the longest time believed it was me--being too sensitive, having too high of expectations for others, being "difficult" or essentially lying/fibbing/exaggerating, but as usual it's just more projection. It's like NOPE! They get called out a lot for their rudeness and insensitivity because they ARE rude and insensitive!! They're shitty people pretending to be decent and want you to be the one responsible for "dealing" …

When are people going to learn that unsolicited advice is fucking presumptuous and rude? Especially if you don't really know the person. You don't know what that person knows. It's just insulting and annoying.

Agreed! The community aspect is key. I could throw a basic site together but don't know anything about creating a forum type site. But I bet someone on FDS totally does! It's a nice thought anyway, maybe the mods have discussed this whole thing since people are out to get us lol.

Maybe it's not a huge deal to some or in the grand scheme of things, but it does come across as tone deaf in my opinion, given the idea and context of this sub. Dude has his hands all over this woman's face and he looks like a crazed creeper in the photo! I don't know what movie this is from either, but to be honest where it originates from isn't that relevant when the still itself is what some are taking issue with.

It's sad how you can have surface level attraction for someone, KNOW they're a piece of shit or not right for you, and STILL get sucked into them or get the wool pulled over your eyes.

This article is from 2010 so that everyone is aware that it's not recent! But the news that Grimes gave birth to a baby boy yesterday, and that Elon Musk is the father, is recent! I just saw this today and so I went down a little rabbit hole about all of this and thought of FDS. But WOW! 16ish years his junior and this is his 6th child. Based on his prior partners and knowing what we know about him as a person in the public eye, I fear for Grimes' happiness and him repeating the pattern with her…

Thank you. Yeah it was so cruel and felt like a total gutpunch. Imagine existing within such an empty shell. I truly feel sorry for humans who have been so damaged to where that becomes how they interact with others. But I also hate them.

Thank you. I believe him to be a sociopath so yeah he's def got some serious emotional and social setbacks. He had a fucked up life which I've always taken empathy with, and unfortunately I still have that trauma bond connection to him, but as time goes on I see him more and more clearly, thankfully.

My one ex used to accuse me of this (being able to switch off emotions), and I can to some extent, but I realized it was just him projecting. Shocking!

The second-to-last straw for me was when my ex responded with, "c'mon man don't tell me that", after I told him my two-month-old nephew had died. You'd think this would be the worst part, but no, that would be the next day when I find out he told his bitchass friend/coworker (who also is a piece of male trash), after I explicitly asked him not to tell ANYONE. In that moment there was an internal house of cards that fell as I realized how betrayed I felt. Men who behave this way are absolutely he…

Exactly, even if it's not "outright negging" it still doesn't sit well with me either, and that alone is enough of a reason (your gut instinct) to be like hm nope!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/04/20 07:25 PM
11

The "so far" part indicates he may come across someone better on the app, and how he states things comes across as encouraging competition between women, which usually doesn't work out in women's favor because they'll feel insecure and compare themselves. So it fits into the negging category by complimenting you yet behind the scenes is trying to make you feel you might not be good enough!

Good on you for telling her. I knew about my ex's friend cheating on his wife with a coworker of theirs and I wish I would've said something to her. I had my own bullshit to deal with and also felt like it wasn't my place to blow up someone else's marriage, but now I will always tell the woman if I find out. I also think about the women at the worksite who probably knew about my ex's cheating. Ugh. I hated all his friends anyways cuz they're garbage men in general, but that whole situation in pa…

And the lengths they go to to silence people who speak out. The leader's wife missing/not being heard of for a lonnnng time. There's a member of the Scientology cult that lurks on Reddit and people will be like "where's Shelly????" randomly because that's the leader's wife's name.

Have you heard of Leah Remini? And the show she made about Scientology and her growing up inside it? Scientology is fucking CRAZY and full of abusive, dangerous, creepyass people, to say the least. And they lie about their numbers, their membership across the world really isn't that big, which they talk about in Leah's show. And there's so many celebrities that Scientology has taken. When I was getting close to leaving I started greyrocking my ex more and it was really interesting to watch him make comments to try and rile me up and I'm all like 🤷‍♀️ it was so freeing to know he no longer had that influence over me. And it just highlighted to me the fact he's an empty, boring person who has to fuck with other people just to survive. How sad.

Someone who is still just as immature and stuck in the abuse cycle as he is. I speak from experience. I have asked myself this very question and the only thing I can really come up with is the immaturity and the fact that I felt better people wouldn't be interested in me. And I felt stuck with him cuz I felt bad. Blah blah. All in the past baby!!!

I truly just have no interest in interacting with them again. They blew it and are shitty people. I've leveled up and they'll never be on my level. I'm repulsed by their behavior and persona and therefore no longer attracted. I had an ex try to contact me a handful of times in like a 5 year span, saying I tried harder than anyone to save him and how he's tried to move on but can't stop thinking about me and is still waiting/hoping for a reconnect blah blah. This is something I struggle with. Wanting to be a better/good person by not stooping to such levels, but as someone who has been wronged by so many men, I still have a lot of anger about it all, and some of them just fucking deserve to be called out and/or put in their place when they're so out of touch.

I never said it was something to shoot for. Just something I've realized. The ones who care the most are often taken for granted and end up chasing the ones who don't, trying to convince them to love them and pay attention to them.

I was thinking this as well. FDS would not approve lol. Move on, block, delete. Not to mention, why, if he's so gross, would you continue to want to associate yourself with that? Having a history and him helping her is just being used as an excuse.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/20 06:06 PM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/03/20 02:43 PM

Another reason to live alone lol. Don't gotta worry about a dude having the AUDACITY to disrespect you like that. People who have affairs where they're sleeping in the same bed as the one they share with their significant other are truly the lowest of the low. Despicable behavior and clearly have no moral code.

This! My grandma wanted to be a pilot (grandpa said no); mom wanted to be a flight attendant, but ended up with two kids she didn't seem to even want, and a sad life with abusive men that ended at 54 years old. I too wish I could save all the women in the past. I am single and doing my own thing and like to think I'm living for them as much as myself, and enjoying all the things they couldn't have.

I am so mad at myself for spending the time with him that I did. And disgusted with myself for ever touching him or letting things slide and continuing to hangout with him. Fuckin weirdo! Okay so I'm a little confused. Marriage isn't appealing to me (women are more unhappy, historically it benefits men more, women bear the brunt of maintaining household shit, divorce is expensive, etc many other reasons), but being a forever girlfriend is problematic/looked down on. So what's a gal to do ya know? Just curious other's thoughts.

This shit makes me so mad. They don't miss US, they miss using us and taking advantage of our kindness and empathy. They miss being mommied. So gross.

I agree but have noticed people on here using "males", so isn't that hypocritical of us? (The people who use the term but also FDS as a whole?). I'm all for explanations as to the difference, if people see one, but noticed and was curious.

Anyone else watch Frasier? When I saw the Romanov name it made me think of the episode where Frasier and Niles convince themselves they're related to them 😂

I might have to print out some of these memes and put them on my fridge as reminders! This one is fuckin GOLD!

They really do have that sense of entitlement to interact with women. I hate that they think we owe them responses, smiles, laughs, etc. Just don't bother me!!

Ugh I had a first date with a dude I met OLD and he was pushy about ordering a specific drink and I was really turned off in that moment because it was just so unnecessary and made me uncomfortable. (Little dum-dum here went on a second date with him but no number three lol. Baby steps!)

Yup. I remember in highschool when my mom handed me a $20 bill once to get lunch, snacks, etc, and she was doing it in a way like, "hurry up and take this before he sees". Stepdad (I loathe this term) was controlling, and it's little moments like these that really speak to the depths abusive men affect a woman and her life experience.

Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous is what it stands for. It and CODA really get at core traumas and talking about boundaries, looking at your patterns and how your past affects the people you pick, waiting to have sex, etc. I def see some crossover with FDS ideas. It's worth checking out. Obviously like with the other meetings it's take what you like and leave the rest. A big thing I realized is the concept of how many women use sex to get love, like we put out in hopes to get them to love us back.…

You ever been to/heard of the SLAA meetings? I used to and there's some FDS tactics to it, though pretty hardcore. But my friends and I felt the same way as you're saying, that a lot of the men are predatory and still sick in other ways. Women's only meetings for me going forward most likely no matter which meeting category it is!

I want there to be an FDS resort or vacation where we can all just level up together! Haha. FDS island, "fuckboy free since twenty nineteen!" 🤣

Absolutely. More and more of us are waking up to our forced realities and helping support each other to escape and build the lives we WANT and DESERVE!!!

Exactly! It's like... YOU FUCKING BUILT THIS. YOU MADE IT THIS WAY! You have no one to blame but yourselves! But we all know that takes personal reflection and a lot of other skills that are deemed feminine or unimportant.

Fuckin' preach. This is how I see it too, it's all projection. Misandry is justifiable and understandable given the mistreatment of women for EONS, but misogyny is just projection.

Oh man, dump this fool girl! And do not look back. You do not deserve such treatment. Nothing nice someone says or does can outweigh the negative comments, as there shouldn't even be negative comments! If any guy makes you feel embarrassed or less than or not good enough IN ANY WAY, he deserves to be kicked to the curb. I wish you luck. This subreddit has your back!!

Especially if you grew up in a household with perverts and/or were sexualized from a young age, like most of us were. You want to hide and stay as small as possible so you don't attract the wrong kind of attention. I'm in my early 30s and just really coming into my own where I feel a little safer wearing more skimpy or fashionable clothing and makeup. But I'm still worried about attracting the wrong people. It's fucked up how we can't be ourselves.

This makes me so sad to know if true :( prob bc we're raised to be caretakers and feel guilty for abandoning people in their time of need.
