Comparing lung cancer and breast cancer is silly. 70% of lung cancer cases are associated with smoking so by far the best way to stop people dying from it is to help them stop smoking, not spend millions on research. Conversely, there are way more unavoidable risk factors for breast cancer hence why more money is funnelled into research. I am of course in favour of everyone being equal, but there is nothing wrong with women choosing to focus our activism on issues that affect us. Yes the principle of feminism is equality of the sexes, but the core of feminism is to focus on issues where women are specifically disadvantaged.
