Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?I know your pain all too much, brother. In college, I hated the 'hookup culture' and just wanted to date (you know, the old fashioned, innocent way of getting to know someone), but that was impossible - I was in college up until last year. After college I was forced to move home because of the shitty situation I was in with my last girlfriend -- basically was convinced by my family to get engaged and move in together, so we did, and it went to shit on the very first day, literally while we were … | /r/MGTOW | 31/05/19 11:41 AM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?Yes, this. I suppose all any of us truly wants is to feel like we belong, like we are valued, and like we are desired - not even romantically, but just in general. This sub makes you realize that achieving any of those (let alone all three) is nearly impossible for men in 2019 (barring niche communities like MGTOW). EDIT: Suppose I should say that the barrier to entry to get these things (belonging, value, etc) is just much higher, so that leads to men feeling less self-worth over time. | 3 | Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?Same. I just needed to see a few graphs and stats before I started to realize that it was a lie. | /r/MGTOW | 31/05/19 11:23 AM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?Your 'old days' are precisely what I am sad about missing out on when I think about this. Yeah, sure it was never "perfect", but damn if it wasn't better, and damn if that happily-ever-after didn't seem possible. | /r/MGTOW | 31/05/19 11:22 AM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?Yeah, it really sucks not only looking forward, but like you said, looking back. When I went my own way, I realized that many of the memories I had were wrong - or incomplete, at least. I don't sit and think about this all of the time. I would say 99.99% of the time I am completely over it. I suppose there are still just some patterns of thought that rarely get accessed, but when they do make me feel this way. | /r/MGTOW | 31/05/19 11:15 AM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?Planning to make my exit as soon as possible, tbh | /r/MGTOW | 31/05/19 11:11 AM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?I don't disagree with you one bit. This sub encouraged me to leave my last relationship and made me realize how much better life could be if I just stopped giving women my time. | /r/MGTOW | 31/05/19 11:10 AM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?I mean, to be honest, even when I was blue-pilled I knew I wasn't very keen on kids - for numerous reasons. Even still, the idea of raising someone seems like a fun experiment - maybe I'm just a teacher deep down so it appeals to me in that sense. | /r/MGTOW | 31/05/19 11:09 AM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?Well put. | /r/MGTOW | 31/05/19 11:05 AM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary? That's a fair point. It seems like the idea that you could choose the marriage route and be just as successful/happy was more prevalent as well, though. Like I said in the post, I've always been a hopeless romantic, so I guess MGTOW is harder on us, haha | /r/MGTOW | 30/05/19 10:37 PM
Is anyone else saddened by the fact that MGTOW is necessary?I absolutely agree. It isn't worth the risk; the risk is way too high. Just wish it wasn't so. | /r/MGTOW | 30/05/19 10:33 PM
Go Your Own Way. Green gorgeous outdoorsJust wait until MGTOW has sex robots and it literally will be the house from ex machina | /r/MGTOW | 25/05/19 12:29 PM
Dang toxic masculinity is realAs a BC grad who worked for dining the entire time I attended, I can tell you: 1) 50% or more of men who work there are there for their kids or their own education, and 2) they work their asses off with shit hours and under-appreciation. They're all trained chefs, and they could make more in Boston at a restaurant. But that tuition is worth $70k/yr (That's $280k if their kid goes and graduates). They also get free tuition at other Jesuit Catholic Colleges in their network (I think Georgetown and… | /r/MGTOW | 04/03/19 05:59 PM
Anyone here living a minimalist style of life?I made a list of everything I want to buy, then used excel to rank items based on an index of Want/Need/Use/Price (with Need/Use being weighted very highly). I only buy new things in order of that list, top-down. I haven't had consumer's remorse since I started because I only buy the new things that are most important to me. Also, create an atomic wardrobe (if that's the term). I wear the same exact style of jeans in different colors, and I only buy clothes that match what I already have. Your t… | /r/MGTOW | 03/03/19 04:50 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....I agree! It's nice to have people support your dreams and to see the dreams of others (and how they've managed them). I'm starting to realize that you don't need much to be happy, so I tend towards those who are after more minimalist lifestyles. Is your top 10 mostly international? Personally I would have to have my "cheap" spots and "high roller" spots. Got to roll into Monaco just once while holding a glass of champagne. Life is about experience! | 0 | Not trying to start a cult, but....Why are you so upset by this? Are you mad at me for something? I wrote a long response to this, but you're really not worth my time. Believe what you want, friend. | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 06:13 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....And obviously the lake example would be more expensive. It was meant to be example of what I'm talking about as far the setup goes, not literally meaning "let's go buy a lake guys". | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 05:34 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....I said the CABIN would cost $5k-7k to build. (Not a house, a cabin just big enough to live and sleep in - which are 100% legal if done to codes or in an unorganized township). Land could be anywhere from $50k to $???k depending on location, size and features. You could do all of this for $100k for one person if you go simple and small. | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 05:32 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....What costs? The costs to build a cabin and buy land? | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 05:27 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....I have nothing but total respect for you my man. You're who we strive to be, I think. Defintely keep us all updated because I'd love to follow this journey! I wanted to buy a sailboat a while back and do something similar to you, although I wasn't MGTOW at the time, so it was more so just learning for the skill of it. I'm going to start learning to hunt this year after I save up for a decent rifle, but I ultimately want to bow hunt (seems more natural and more of a skill). I love fishing too. Wh… | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 05:24 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....Think of it like this: There's a lake in the middle of nowhere. It has 10-20 lake-front properties that go all the way around (each plot is huge and extends away for 10+ acres). One property on the lake has a covered area with outdoor grills, a dock you can fish on, a fire pit, etc. This one property is run by an HOA led by those who own property around the lake - the HOA basically just pays taxes, upkeep, and repairs no other powers. Imagine every property around that lake is bought by a MGTOW.… | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 04:26 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....That sounds awesome!! I've always wanted to learn to sail. That's an option I haven't considered actually, but definitely a great way to travel the world as well. And yes, it'd probably eventually fall apart if too many undesirables started moving in... maybe the boat is a better way to go - best of both worlds. | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 04:16 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....Underwater cities then? Buy submarines and weld them together? Jk that sounds like a guaranteed way to die. Weather is a bitch... | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 04:05 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....I get that 1000%. I don't want a huge thing with 1,200 people, because that's when things get out of hand and everyone ends up dead. I'm mostly getting at 10-20max people buying land which all borders one another. Each man on his own land, but maybe a common plot in a central location that we'd all share if wanted. Not like we'd all live in clusters of cabins (unless some people wanted to). Big time libertaian on this, so get your own land and do what you want, but just know you have friends sem… | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 04:04 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....Well, it's not so much that we'd just buy 1000 acres and build a city or commune. More like several of us live on property that borders each other. So we each have our own land, unless you'd want to go in with someone or split the property. In a centralized area we could build some common buildings for various uses if wanted/needed. That area could be classified as a co-op or something so if anyone wants access they can "buy in" just to help with upkeep and taxes, etc. It would have to be in an … | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 03:58 PM
Not trying to start a cult, but....From savings/investments. Not planning on arriving with $0 net worth. Ideally have enough invested to pay taxes+minor expenses with part of interest. Wouldn't be a "pick up and move tomorrow" gig. Could also sell any products we make that are left over. | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/19 01:52 PM

WoowFalse premise. Unwanted sex =/= rape. You CAN have unwanted sex, but it still not be rape. If it's means/ends then I may not have wanted to, but I was willing to for money, status, bragging, proof of feelings, etc. Not rape. (This would be 90% of cases I'd estimate) If I'm tired or not really in the mood, but my girlfriend is really horny, I don't want to have sex, but I'm willing to for her enjoyment. Sort of, I don't really want sex, but I love them anyway so I will do it for them. Not rape. H… | /r/MGTOW | 25/02/19 04:54 PM
Planning on leaving [update]Try doing some physical labor on the land. Chop trees, build something, hunt, hike it, etc. It'll really help you find purpose, reflect, and stay in shape! Best wishes! I'm hoping to do something similar once I save up a little bit of cash! | /r/MGTOW | 25/02/19 03:04 AM
